Sometimes the ones closest to you are also the most dangerous …

As part of her grueling Academy training, Ko has learned more than most people glean from a lifetime of experiences. In order to become one of North Korea’s most elite agents, Ko has taught herself to lie. She has taught herself to kill. She has taught herself to starve her soul from all hints of tenderness.

But when Ko’s handler sends her out on another off-campus mission, she realizes just how much power the Party has entrusted to her — the power of life and death, freedom and captivity — both for herself and the ones she cares about most.

An engrossing new spy thriller series from A. J. Terry, who has won awards from IndieFab, Readers’ Favorite, The Book Club Network, and more.

Resistance (Agent Ko #3) Reviews

Wow, this book was definitely a page turner with lots of mystery, surprises, terror and heartbreak. My heart aches for Agent Ko and what the Academy is putting her through. She was a nice, kind, caring and highly intelligent young girl who is being made into a brutal and unkind agent to be used by the "Great Leader" of North Korea. Agent Ko is tested for her loyalty time and time again and she knows it's either her or them, and she is out to reach Zenith, no matter what the cost. This story, as terrifying as it is, feels very, very real to me, which is what makes it even scarier.

This is a quote in the book which I really like: “And that’s how you know your love’s matured. When you can make those sacrifices. Make those hard choices that sound impossible, but in the end you know it’s for his good.” She smiled softly, studying Papa, drinking him in with sad, faded
eyes. “That’s how you know it’s real love. The kind that won’t ever die.” Resistance by A.J. Terry

I was given this ebook free by the author in exchange for an honest review. If you like mystery, suspense, thrillers and books with real-life situations and thought-provoking events, this book is for you. You will want to read the whole Agent Ko Series. If you are highly sensitive to blood, grit and tears, then maybe you might want something lighter. For me, I am going to keep reading.

This is Book 3 in the Agent Ko Spy Thriller Series about a North Korean Spy in training.
This is the story of a young woman forced into training as a spy.
I like how she is able to maintain a little of her humanity and how she loves her family.
The book is edgy with violence and sexual innuendos.
I hope this agent learns about God saving grace and finds her way out of her life of horror..
I was given an advance reading copy and give my honest opinion
