This is actually my review of Nos. 112 & 113, which is unlisted
Wow. My favorite issue thus far. Even the poetry was hitting this time. A firm focus on adolescence in this collection, there were a ton of brilliant coming of age stories in here. The symposium on 'appropriation or meaningful use' was mostly interesting with a few pretentious duds.
The pieces in here were even more vulnerable than usual. I frequently had to check if what I was reading was a fiction or non-fiction piece, as each author's voice had so much credibility and presence.
I love Boulevard, man.
