Zombie Apocalypse: The Chad Halverson Series Reviews

Yeah, not my favorite. In fact, I was unable to finish the books. The author was obsessed with using impressive sounding, obscure vocabulary words any chance he got, creating awkward sentences, unbelievable dialogue, and frequent inaccuracies. Several times, the chosen words weren't even close to applicable. Then he choose to repeatedly go into overly elaborate descriptions of the zombies/infected that were downright flabbergasting. These creatures have existed for a day or so, yet they are infested with maggots and creepy crawlies and decayed to the degree of a weeks or months old corpse? And they can be ambulatory without muscle tissue? And rise from the dead long after brain tissue would be reduced to nothing? The whole story was just too inconsistent and needlessly descriptive and inaccurate. I hate to be so critical, but it was very hard to get through even the bit I managed to read (a hundred and some pages).
