Thanks to the Draconians, Earth is now a lovely, serene place where everyone's needs are met. But for Celeste, who was orphaned in the Mulgur attack years ago, it's not enough.
She wants a husband and a child, a family she can call her own. Even so, when the mating lottery matches her with one of the barbaric Galatonians -- warlike dragon-shifters with their own planet -- the news is less than welcome.
Fire Prince Salvatt Dorr of Galaton is in desperate need of a mate. With no heir, his territory will be overrun by aggressive unmated males. Celeste is everything he hoped for -- but is she ready for the challenges of life on his planet?
Madness looms over Salvatt as his mating impulse finally takes over. Can Celeste mate with her red-skinned dragon of a man in time to save them both?

2 1/2 stars, when I read the premise of this book I thought it was right up my alley and when I started reading it I liked that it wasn't the same ol same ol. However the longer I read this one the more it became obvious that the differences in this book just weren't working for me. Celeste lives in a pretty much perfect earth everyone works together and has everything they want however Celeste doesn't have a mate. Many years ago earth was entered into the mating pool of the Draconians. Cellists has longed to be matched and find her mate but seven long years later Celeste has started to wonder if she should accept that she will be alone.
Prince Salvatt's planet has just been allowed the privilege of being entered into the mating pool. However his planet is in turmoil and it isn't safe to leave to collect his mate once she is found so he and the other princes decide to have their mates shipped to them. When Celeste finds out her mate won't be their to claim her she is shocked but agrees to the terms and begins her journey to meet her mate. After the very long trip Celeste begins to wonder if this was a good idea and if her mate will ever love her. Prince Salvatt has waited for his mate but with his planet not well or safe his new mate might not be so safe.
I had a hard time believing in the chemistry with this couple in fact if i'm completely honest I didn't feel one at all. The heroine does whatever she is told, and the things expected of her is crazy and I would have run the other way. ****spoilers ahead**** the hero needs an heir to protect his throne so before they mate or even meet he plans and has the heroine his fated mate artificially inseminated (which is a strange scene in the story). She is instructed on how the pregnancy will go and how to take care of the baby. The couple doesn't even meet till their child is three months old. They have minimal contact because it will send him into mating heat and she is too far away.
This book pretty much has them apart the majority of the time, and when they finally meet it is too rushed and again I didn't feel the connection. The hero has it way too easy he just says it and it's so. Our heroine gives up everything and yes he says he loves her but their just isn't enough time of them being together for me to believe it. ***END SPOILERS**** I also didn't like the description words used in the intimate scenes in this book they just didn't work for me at all. This story has potential and I am no where near saying it's horrible, and I don't want to sound like a broken complaining record I just had hoped for more with this one. -
I received a copy in exhcange for an honest review. Contains some spoilers.
Lemme start by saying I louuuuved the Draconian series. I was excited to read this and have to say I loved it just as much. These Galatonians are DIFFERENT. More barbarian like. Its a hard life and they are constantly fighting to keep their places. Kinda sad and exhausting actually. Celeste has been wanting to mate with a Draconian male for quite awhile. Its all she thinks about and after being signed up so long she is beginning to wonder if she'll ever find a match. Galatonians have recently been added to the lottery and Celeste finds her mate. She isn't exactly happy because of the rumors about them. She wants an easy life and life with a Galatonian would be difficult and she fears the unknown. Fire Prince Salvatt Dor of Galaton is her mate. He couldnt be happier. Things get really complicated because it takes a year...yes a year to get to him. They also need heirs to guarantee their line continues. So, basically Celeste has to be inseminated and rub this mating lotion stuff on her for that whole year. The rub is she can't see or talk to him because it would be too hard on his dragon and the mating impulse has started. Never meeting the guy or actually talking to him. Going through the pregnancy alone without anyone to really talk to. I honestly think they could have been more accommodating to human women because emotions are running high. Perhaps it will be easier on the next mating because they really struggle. Hell she had nobody to talk to everyone seems to be a hologram. Talk about a lonely year! I dont know how she did it! Only time she speaks with him in acutal time is when she gives birth and thats only to discuss the name of the baby like 30 seconds and he's gone again. It just felt cold to me and I know thats not how he feels. It just unfortunately has to be that way until she arrives. I felt bad for her honestly. So, once she DOES get there its not comfortable for her. Its not what she thinks and she doubts he'll ever care for her. Lets just say talking and relating to females isn't exactly a Galatonians forte. Needless to say they DO bond and its actually quite sweet. I did love the book. It wasnt easy for either of these mates but loved the story and cant wait for the next one!
One quote that melted my heart was when Sal talked to her after initiating the preparations to mating. “I understand your need for a heart bond before mating,” he said, placing his hand on her heart. “I desire one as well. I wish it could have been different… for us.” A
www....so sweet and understanding. He gets it he totally does. :) -

FIRE DRAGON'S BABY(Elemental Dragons) by Scarlett Grove
Earth is a good place to live again, now that the Draconians have helped make it a better place. But it's just not enough for Celeste anymore, she wants a husband and a child. So when the mating lottery matches her to a barbaric dragon shifter, she's not very happy.
Galaton Fire Prince, Salvatt Dorr is desperate for a mate. He needs a heir and control over his territory. When his matched with Celeste, he couldn't be more pleased, she's everything he had hoped for. But is she ready for a life on his planet?
When his mating fever takes over, his left with a feeling of madness. Will Celeste accept him and mate him before it's too late for both of them?
This was a awesome story, I loved it. Had a intriguing and interesting storyline, filled with action, drama, and suspense. The characters were amazing, sweet and lovely and I loved them. This author is so talented, and has a ways with words, and she had me gripped from start to finish. Such an exciting and enjoyable book, loved it! -
I liked this very different shifter story. Salvatt is a fire dragon who needs a mate and have an heir. Without this the unrest of his southern portion of the planet will fall into chaos and war. All the female dragons have died out so they must resort to the Earth bride lottery. Celeste has been on the lottery list with no luck for a long time. She has been matched with Solvate. She is to travel over one year to get to his planet. Will she have born an heir by the time she arrives? Will they be compatible? Will they be the first of the four elemental dragon's to have a success full marriage? This is a 5 star. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love scifi and especially alien romances. Elemental Dragons #1 Fire Dragon's Baby is the first of a trio by my favorite alien romance author, Juno Wells and her writing partner Scarlett Grove. It was a wonderful beginning to the four parts of this adventure (perhaps more?).
Celeste, was an orphan and felt the lack of familial bonds intensely. She entered the Draconian mating lottery years ago when it was first announced. One look at these gorgeous 7 foot tall hunks and she wanted one of her own. But years went by and she was never selected. She pretty much gave up. Then an ancient isolated branch of the Draconians called the Galatonians from the far side of the Draconian galaxy entered the mating lottery and suddenly she was informed that she was matched. Fire Prince Salvatt Dorr. She reported to the nearest Draconian mating Processing Center and was warmly welcomed. First by an AI who announced her name and status as the mate of Prince Salvatt Dorr.
While the Draconians were egalitarian, the Galatons were much more barbaric adhering to ancient traditions. Once the females died out, war broke out in all four quadrants of the planet. Prince Salvatt being the eldest of the Princes was also the strongest, but once he, and his dragon, knew they had a mate, his dragon immediately started to go into mating thrall. Salvatt fought his countrymen and his dragon at the same time. He could not afford to even think of her. If she refused his mating, he would go mad and whither and die, ending thousands of years of his linage as Fire Prince.
Celeste agreed to the conditions of the match and the process of making her ready to meet her prince began. The artificial insemination was a success and she was immediately pregnant. She was given a special cream to rub into her skin each day to help her carry the baby to term and make her ready to mate with her prince... in a year! The baby was delivered by Cesarean section after nine months spent alone on her bride ship. Salvatt called almost immediately to congratulate her and determine what name they should give his heir: Shiloh.
Meanwhile each day brought new challengers to the reign of Salvatt as Fire Prince. Celeste finally arrives at Galaton and finds her prince every bit as tall, muscular, and gorgeous as the Draconians she was used to seeing on Earth. It takes a bit until they consummate their bond, but the bond continues to build. Celeste plays a significant role in saving her husband... and they live a long and happy life.
On to book 2. -
>Book Review – Fire Dragon’s Baby
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the first in the Elemental Dragons series and ends in an HEA. Celeste enters the mating lottery and is paired with the dragon prince on a far planet, Salvatt. In order to help Salvatt keep his mating instincts from killing him, he must artificially inseminate Celeste, so she arrives after her year of travel with a baby. The process seems cold, but some of the descriptions are quite funny. The videos of Salvatt showing his physique kind of seem to make fun of romance novel covers. Once Celeste lands and meets Salvatt, the reader is shown how close he is to giving in and giving up. Those feelings keep the mating process from feeling too cold. There literally was no other option for Salvatt.
>This book is novella length, so a lot of description was missing. I would have especially liked to have a visualization of the new planet. Very little is described. The other dragon Princes were never introduced to Celeste in order to have a few scenes of jealousy. The book was good, but with a few additions, the book could have been great.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 4 stars.

Salvatt is one of four princes that rule Galaton, a planet that rules itself. They are dragon shifters who rule a sector connected with the elements; his is fire. Their species is dying out because of lack of women. They entered the mating lottery thirty years prior and are now allowed to move forward to find mates. Celeste entered the mating lottery at 18; she is now 25. She finally received notification of a match~ Only problem is, she has to become impregnated right away and it will take one year to travel to the planet to me with him. So, she accepts! She gives birth and once she arrives it is nothing but a constant battle for her Prince. Will they have time to consummate their mating? Will he be killed? I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Unique Alien dragon fated mate
This book is first of the Alien dragon series and is presented in a new unique way. The human bride goes on a year-long journey through space and have the dragon's baby. That is complicated to say the least.
The fire Dragon Prince is one of four, sexy, and strong character. The scenery of descriptive and makes you feel like you're there. It is fast pace and well written. I would highly recommend this book.

Savatt is one of the four dragons of the elemental planet of Galaton. He is of the south and home of Fire. He must find his mate to calm his section. In comes Celeste. She is on earth and will make the one year journey to get to her mate. The catch she needs to be impregnated before she leaves so she has stated the mating process. So when she arrives with their three month old son they have a family started.
This was a good tale. -
Not enough romance for me!
I kept hoping for a relationship to blossom and grow between the two, but sadly it goes from her being reluctant to her having a sudden bond which I found hard to buy. They could have bonded with their baby and fell in love with a whole lot more believable plot than the story unfolds. I found it awkward and implausible. -
Wonderful twist on finding a mate. The prince's from Galaton need to find a mate before their world is torn apart by warfare. Problem is there are no Galatonin women left. Each prince must be matched with a woman from Earth that had entered the mating lottery. This story is full of interesting twist and turns.
-
Celeste takes a leap of faith by agreeing to mate with the Prince without actually meeting him. She leaves earth and gives birth on the ship to her new home. The Prince's Dragon is driving him mad with the need to claim his bride. Once they satisfy claiming things are more settled and look promising.
