What if a group of psychic strangers came together to save the world?

The Sevens Prophecy
(With Regard to the End of Days)

There will come a day when seven psychic children of the light and seven psychic children of the dark will be born. From the moment of their birth, strong powers will be in place to bring the seven light together and the seven dark together to form two separate but equally powerful groups. The first seven to gather all in one place will seal the fate of the world – dark for hell, light for heaven. At that point the seven deadly sins will take over the world or cease to exist.

After Mia is rescued from the trafficking ring’s basement brothel, she and Thomas begin putting both their lives and the pieces of the Sevens Prophecy together, but quickly discover there may be little hope for the light psychics.

When their paths cross with Lanying, Salomon, and Jose, they are unaware that the powerful forces alluded to in the prophecy are already working to bring the light psychics together.

Unfortunately, they’re bringing the dark psychics together as well.

As both sides of the prophecy gather, which group will ultimately decide the fate of the world?

The fate of the world becomes the prize as an ancient prophecy is coming to fruition. Seven psychics will be born and they will change the world. Will they be seven from the light or seven from the dark? The prophecy states the first seven to come together will seal the world’s fate. Will Earth’s fate be in the hands of Heaven or Hell?

The forces are bringing both the light and dark sevens together and the rest will be up to the ones who gather.

Mia and Thomas have survived their past encounters and are searching for others for the light, knowing that the odds of them finding seven may be impossible when they may have already lost one of their own. Without an organized method to search, their numbers grow quite by accident, by Fate, but is it possible it is already too late? Each with their own special power, will they be forced to stand against their dark counterparts without their full force?

Meanwhile, the dark are gathering with a vengeance under the guidance of a criminal mastermind, born to be evil. By utilizing the wealth of one of their most powerful in their global search, they take advantage of their powers in their systematic search for their evil cohorts. Like finding a needle in a hay stack, they are determined to win their moment of glory.

Daily life goes on, but time is running out for the final showdown, how can their allies be found without raising suspicions of their mental health and the unbelievable?

Step into the world of Amalie Jahn and feel the power of a prophecy’s weight on those meant to play the puppets in its play. Feel the hope of the light side and the vile darkness of their foes. With a brilliant plot, executed with a sense of mystery and foreboding, we are held in suspense as to how the prophecy will play out. Clearly the preparations have been made and only the final pieces must be found, while we are left to wonder, who will gather first and how will the lost psychics be found?

Ms. Jahn has raised the intrigue bar with her gift of writing as we must wait just a little longer for our questions to be answered.

I received an ARC edition from Amalie Jahn in exchange for my honest review.

To tell you just how quickly this series gets under your skin.... I lucked into finding book 1. Within one chapter I knew I was hooked, and instantly ordered this book and pre-ordered book 3. I read both books 1&2 back to back in just under three hours. Romance, mystery, good vs evil, paranormal.... You name it this book has it. A young woman named Mia has always had the ability to read peoples auras. To her.... Since childhood either someone has a light or good aura, or a dark/bad aura. As a cop she uses this gift daily and it's NEVER failed her. Imagine her shock when she suddenly sees someone in the lineup with NO aura? Turns out Thomas (lineup guy who was a plant by the cops) is also gifted. They soon learn there's an even bigger coincidence... They share the exact same birthday and birth date. In book 1 it's how they met and some of the trials they went through trying to find others like them. In this book they still search as they learn more of a prophecy.... There will be 7 psychics of light.... Like themselves fighting for good.... And 7 fighting for darkness. It's a race against time at this point. In this book we meet a few more for team light and see the trials they all continue to go through. I'm already looking forward to book three coming out soon!! I highly suggest reading this book.... It's definitely a fun ride.

Another great read--the circle of light expands and more becomes known about the dark/evil ones. The great thing about this series is how the psychic powers are applied to current political and social events--focusing on greed vs things like healing and putting criminals behind bars. You need to read book one--don't just jump into this one.

In her usual flawless style, Amalie Jahn progresses the story that began in Among the Shrouded. In that story, Baltimore cop Mia hooked up with Thomas, the handsome piano player, and together they foiled a sex-trafficking ring, but they lost a girl who, like them was born on the same day of the same year. And more importantly, they comprised three of the seven "light psychics" who are tasked with preventing the end of the world, which will be ushered in by seven "dark psychics".

Criminal mastermind Patrick, who has made it is life's work to fulfill the dark prophecy, is in a race against time, combing the world in the hopes of assembling the seven baddies necessary to jump-start the apocalypse. At the same time, the good guys seem to be drawn to each other, from Arizona to Asia to Africa. Whichever group assembles first will win the race, and the fate of humanity. But with one of their number deceased, is it a race the good guys can even win?

Ms. Jahn expertly weaves together multiple story lines. As the story reaches its conclusion, the tension is ramped up as the stakes for failure become clear. I found myself rooting for these reluctant heroes as they battle against forces they can't even put a face to.

Obviously, this is the second book of a larger series, so there were a lot of unresolved questions that I will likely have to wait until the next book to get answer to. But as a reading experience, it was very enjoyable. Bravo Ms. Jahn!

I was given an ARC of “Gather the Sentiment”. This is the second book of the Sevens Prophecy Series. Amalie Jahn's story about two kinds of psychics, seven light and seven dark that need to unite and change the world, in a race against time as to which group will unite first. One for doing good and saving the world, and the other for causing havoc and using darkness to do bad. It was engrossing and fast paced. The characters were flawed and real. I enjoyed how Ms. Jahn interweaved other sub-plots into the storyline. There were also a good number of new characters introduced in this second book. Ms. Jahn’s writing is descriptive, intense, and at times, raw. As a writer/author myself, I enjoyed it very much.

Amalie Jahn's Gather the Sentient is a troubling foray a prophecy about 7 psychics who will change the world. Too bad no one knows whether this will be a good change or bad. With both groups of psychics pulling together, making way for the ultimate standoff, you are left woth the uneasy feeling that in cases of light and dark, not everything is cut into stone. And, what is right is layered in shades of grey.

Gutwrenching and beautiful, Jahn's writing will pull you in, then when you least expect it, leave you gasping for air. This is the second in a great series, and I'm going to need to go back and check out book one.

I was kindly given a copy of this book to review by the author and have read it over a week or so.

I enjoyed the writing style and the storyline, but in the end it reminded me too much of a series I have already read "The Power of Five". I know this story is written with adults with powers, not children (like in the series I already read) but the concept is the same - one of light fighting dark in a bid to stop an apocalypse.

If you enjoy these kind of books, then I suggest you read. There certainly are a lot of interesting characters.

Just like the first book, this book had me on the edge of my seat and left me ready to jump into the next book.

Really enjoyed this second installment! Amalie really kept the suspense going all the way through. Finished it in a day!
