    Looted is a really quick read at a little less than 7,500 words. But the book did manage to pique my interest and get me interested in what was going to happen with the characters.

    Sophia is a goddess living amongst mortal humans in the world. She’s like a modern day Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Only Sophia takes things from wealthy people who have possessions of questionable origin. She’s good at what she does and doesn’t seem to leave a trace. Bruce Stoker is an NYPD detective. He has a perfect record when it comes to solving cases. He also has a sixth sense which enables him to tell when someone isn’t being forthcoming with him.

    Following his instincts, Bruce runs into Sophia. The attraction is instant, but questions arise. Questions that aren’t case related and ones that only Sophia can answer.

    It would have been nice to know that Looted was part of a serial/series before I read it. That way, I would have known that the story really wouldn’t have been completed in one sitting. I’m a little disappointed that I have to wait a little over a month for the next installment. I SERIOUSLY want to know what’s going to happen between Sophia, Bruce and the other Gods walking amongst us.

    I thought the author Sheri did a great job with her characters they are enjoyable to follow and likeable. I also like the magic element in this story. I would recommend this story if you like a fast paced read that can be read in one sitting and steamy scenes with a bit of powerful goddess magic along the way.
