A clean Christian romance story about truth… Can truth, once trampled to the ground, find a way to stand back up again?
Sarah Mast is a young widow. She became a widow just three days after she married her husband, yet a child was born of that union. However, since Daniel did not look like Sarah or his father Thomas, many elders started whispering about the real identity of Daniel’s father.

The elders also whispered about Daniel’s weird behavior. The child started talking to a wall, which he called Miste Walls, and he brought the wall foods and drinks.

When Sarah Mast discovers the truth about Miste Walls, her world is troubled and so is her heart. If the rest of Stockton discovers Miste Walls, Daniel’s identity and Sarah’s loyalty to her husband may be in question again.

Meanwhile, Hans Wallace was shunned by his church because of a wrongful accusation. Instead of finding a new life in a non-Amish community, he finds himself wandering towards Stockton, an old order Amish settlement located far south from Walnut Creek. He finds help from Daniel and his mother. But, his presence in their lives puts their integrity under suspicion.

Will Hans Wallace find haven in Stockton or will he cause Sarah and her child to be shunned from their haven as well?

    Good read

This was a well written book. Easy to read and follow and the storyline was mesmerizing. However, I found myself wishing for more. Was Hans allowed back? Did the truth finally come out? Was the accuser/liar punished?
