Probably not the introductory book to use if you're trying to decide if you want to get involved in the hobby. This is the book to get AFTER you decide you like beading and you want to thoroughly educate yourself from the bottom up one step at a time. This is the best book I've read that fully describes each and every; aspect, tool, skill and even vocabulary for those who are determined to learn the art of beading and jewellery making.

Great read for learning the basics of beading and techniques. It even has examples of beading patterns as well as how to do some wire work. If you are into beading, it is a definite read.

Nice pictures but I was unable to follow the directions adequately.
