Clara is back!

Almost a year has passed since Clara returned to the big smoke and she couldn't be happier to be back in her city.

With the perfect husband, her best friends for neighbours and a beautiful baby boy, Clara feels like every aspect of her life has finally fallen into place.

It’s not just Clara who things are going well for. The Strokers have made the move back from the land down under and Lianna is on cloud nine – literally.

Not only has she been jetting across the globe with her interior design firm, Periwinkle, she has also met the man of her dreams… again.

For the past twelve months Li has been having a long distance relationship with Vernon Clarke, a handsome man she met a year earlier on the beautiful island of Barbados.

After spending just seven short days together, Lianna decided that Vernon was the man for her and they have been Skype smooching ever since.

Due to Li’s disastrous dating history, it’s fair to say that Clara is more than a little dubious about Vernon being ‘The One.’ So, when her neighbours invite Clara to their villa in the Caribbean, she can’t resist the chance of checking out the mysterious Vernon for herself.

Has Lianna finally found true love?

Will Vernon turn out to a knight in shining armour or just another fool in tin foil?

Grab a rum punch and join Clara and the gang as they fly off to paradise in this sizzling summer read!

Clara in the Caribbean (Clara Andrews, #6) Reviews

Short Review: I've been slowly making my way through the Clara Andrews series and started this one the other night because I was craving chick lit. For the most part, I liked it. Lacey London did a nice job with the setting and I felt like I was in Barbados with the crew. However, this one was missing the comedy that was in the previous books which was frankly disappointing. Will I read the others? Yes! I quite enjoy this series. But, I do hope the next ones are funnier!

I think this book is by far my other favorite next to 'Meet the Parents' because of their second tropical trip. The gang was so much fun to be with. You would even feel like you're part of them while reading along. Again, this book made me fall in love with another tropical place in this world. First was Mexico, and now this, Barbados. It was such a wonderful read that i can almost say 'wonderful experience'. If you reach this book, i bet you would enjoy it as much as i did. I'd recommend this series all the time.

    Happy reading!!!! :)

    Great read

This just puts you in the mood for a holiday.

I am glad we got read Li's story I am glad she gets what she wanted. I hope that she appears in future books giving us a snippet of her and Vernon's life they together. AND what about Gina, the woman who doesn't want children is now broody, wonder if Gina gets what she wants???

I love Lacey London's books and writing style. They are so down to earth, represent real life. I like how the make me laugh out loud and cry.

Looking forward to the next instalment.

This time the gang travel to the Caribbean, where Li is supposed to be marrying her long distance boyfriend - Vernon a man with whom she has only spent twelve days with. Clara is sceptical as Li does not have a good track record and expects the whole thing to collapse in a heap as the big day draws near. This is a fun read - sun sea sand and a healthy smattering of crazy antics. Does Li finally get the man of her dreams? Now that would be telling! Loved it!

    Heavenly

What a fantastic read. Made the cold spring month that I read feel like summer. Once again Clara and the gang were all together on what I picture to be a very beautiful island from how the fan Lacey London has described it. What a wonderful and happy ending to the book for Lianna. I'm so pleased she finally got her happy ever after.

This book is by far my other favourite in the series next to "Meet the Parents" (Book 2).

This one is based around Clara's best friend Li.

The author's writing style is so down to earth and a good representation of real life.

Based in Barbados you can just imagine the sun, sea and a bar like the one on the beach in the film cocktail.

I'm loving this Lacey London, Clara life adventures are great I'm kept in suspense till the end. ... can't wait to read the last 3 in this series

Another fun and easy Clara book! I loved the play of the friendship between the three women as well as Clara and her husband, it was good to see the relationships get equal amount of importance (though maybe the friendship got a little bit more considering it was the focus of the plot). I love how London writes settings, you can really immerse yourself in it and, despite being in the middle of a cold winter, I felt like I was at the beach.

However, I didn't particularly like how the subplot of the restaurant problems was handled. It was fairly predictable and the wrap-up was handled off-screen and brushed over. I also dislike the appearance of one of the subplots 'every woman will want a baby eventually' which made me want to grind my teeth.

It wasn't my favourite Clara book but it was an enjoyable read nonetheless.

This is a wonderful love story blended with the right amounts of sun, sand, surf, babies, kids, romance, and true love and laughter.
