The memories stolen can never be returned.
But I had to move forward…for him, my son.
Noah had spent years wondering what he could have done differently. Wondering what he’d done wrong to make Stacey leave. The heartache from her absence and the what-ifs of their past eventually turned to anger—and then disgust.
It took years for him to move on, and once he did, his past came thundering back, revealing a secret.
A secret that would forever change his future.
Alena had waited for the chance to have more with Noah. He was an enigma, a man of mystery, yet she wasn’t quite ready to give up on him. She knew there was more to him than what he allowed those around him to see. She was drawn to his charm and his calm nature. With an uprooted past of her own, she craved a little stability more than anything. But when things between them finally begin to grow into more, their relationship is tested.
Will it all be too much for Alena to handle?
Or will she decide to stay and be a part of…Noah’s Journey?

2.5-3ish drama-lite Stars
I went into this with mixed feelings. The setup has all the ingredients to be angsty AF…BUT… I didn’t want to get my hopes up because this is my third book in this series, and the author has a tendency to extinguish any angsty flames and hop on down the fluffy bunny trail.
Noah and Alena have been around since the first book. He is a cop that had his heart broken a few years earlier when his fiancée left him for greener pastures in the big city. She is Amber’s cousin that gave up a life of luxury in Chicago for the simpler life in the sticks.
The book opens with these two FINALLY making a move towards each other only to have their first date derailed by his ex, Stacey, coming to town with a secret. YUM! Unfortunately, it just didn’t shake out into a delicious smorgasbord of angsty goodness.
Bottom Line- Much the same as the first two, except I felt like Noah “messed up” more … but… it didn’t matter because (like the other h’s) nothing really bothers her, and any potential conflicts are quickly dispatched. Pfft. This would be great for readers that hate drama, but for someone like me looking for feels… it’s SO FRUSTRATING when the author throws up NUMEROUS potential conflict/argument material only for it to be resolved immediately… at least let her drive off in a huff and avoid him for 12 hours. Nope, every time she immediately lets him off the hook. It looks like the series continues with Ryan’s daughter and the abused stray they picked up (Trinity) but I’m calling it. There’s an epilogue 4 years later where we get POV/updates from each of the three couples. -
**Synopsis:**
This book picks up where the prior one left off.
Alena and Noah met in Book 2. Deciding not to wait on Noah any longer, Alena asks him out on a date. However, while on the date a bombshell is dropped on Noah. Even given the new circumstances, Noah is ready to try to build something with Alena.
~ “I may have freaked out about your interest for a few months in the beginning, but I’m done living in the past. I’m ready to try this with you, and I hope you are too.”
But, the road to HEA might be a bit bumpier than either anticipated.
** The following are my thoughts about this book: **
* * I didn’t really feel the connection between Noah and Alena. The chemistry was lacking.
* * Noah irritated me a few times. From the way he demanded time with his son (discussed below) to always putting others before Alena, I started to get annoyed with him.
* * Noah ticked me off with his demanding nature when it came to his son. The little boy had no clue who he was, so it would have made sense to take things a bit slower or at least have the mother around in case the child got scared being around someone he didn’t know. His whole handling of the situation seemed like he only focused on what he wanted, not what was best for Austin
* * Alena’s insecurities became frustrating. And, because of her insecurities she got inside her head and retreated rather than talking things out.
* * I was sure the custody thing was going to ramp up into a big issue. But, just like the other books, a significant issue was kind of glossed over and there was no depth. Granted, the child was only three and not fully aware of everything going on. But still, co-parenting, introducing your newly found child to all kinds of new relatives, working out custody arrangements and building a relationship with your child are issues that could have been addressed. On top of that, Noah was trying to get to know Alena and bring her into his messy life. There was a lot going on, but the story just didn’t spend any quality time with the issues. It felt very shallow.
* * there were grammar issues and just something about this book made me feel like it wasn’t as polished as the two before it.
* * Neither character had any growth. Alena was just as insecure at the beginning as she was at the end.
* * Just like the other books, this one also lacks depth
**Overview:**
- Content Warning: father not notified he has a child
- Setting: Livingston, Montana
- Do you need to read previous books in series?: yes. I would not classify this as a standalone. It has a different H/h, but the characters and and backstory from the previous books are important for this book.
- POV: Dual POV
- Who is the Hero? Noah Sawyer (age: probably late 20’s ). Cop
* The following words/phrases were used to describe Hero: likes to push buttons, walls of steel, cocky, confident
* H likable? For the most part, yes. However I thought he was a little clueless and selfish at times
- Who is the Heroine? Alena (age: I’m going to guess mid 20’s). Has been traveling around but has decided it’s time to settle down Recently moved to Montana. Fashion Designer and is hoping to open up a little boutique in town.
* The following words/phrases were used to describe Heroine: lacks self esteem, often feels unworthy or not good enough
~ “I’d had what seemed like a hundred short-lived relationships that always left me wondering why I wasn’t good enough to make someone stay.”
* h likable? she was ok. Her insecurities started to make me a bit irritated. She needed to work on ways to build confidence and she didn’t do that.
- h virgin? No
- First time they kiss: 2%.
- First time they sleep together: 34%
- Safe sex? Yes. Condoms were used
- First time they say I Love You 76%
- steamy? Yes. Descriptive bedroom scenes
- OW/OM drama? Yes
- H/h cheat? No
- Time apart? Nothing significant
- Did I skip pages? No
- Big secrets? Not between H/h
- Did I cry? No
- Did I laugh? Not really
- Did I swoon🥰? Not really
- Cliffhanger? No
- HEA? Yes
- Epilogue? epilogue 1: maybe a few months later. Epilogue 2: Four years later
- Recommend? Overall - I read all three books back to back and I will say they all suffered from the same thing: lack of character growth / story depth. The stories were ok, but I prefer something that’s more rounded out and really dives into the issues in the story. That’s what brings a story to life, and this series didn’t do that for me. I’ve read enough and won’t be continuing on with the series.
**Quotes**
“Well, you must be the asshole that doesn’t know a good thing when it’s dry-humping him against the side of his truck,”
“I never intended to make you think I didn’t want anything with you. I just don’t know how to balance it all out yet.”
“Sometimes you just need to be shown there are kind people in the world. One little gesture of hope could lead to a lifetime of success and love.”
“You have a way of making all the yuck turn to yum.” -

I love a good cowboy romance and CA Harms knows exactly how to write one! This is the third book in this series and every single one of them has been excellent.
Noah and Alena have been flirting with each other since the first book and the attraction between these two is intense. They have finally decided to give dating a try and on the first date they are thrown a complication neither one saw coming.
The way these two are with each other is really sweet to read. You can feel the attraction and chemistry between them. What I really loved was that they were both very honest with each other and they didn't play any games with their feelings and emotions. It was so refreshing to read about a couple that have to work through a major development and yet they come out strong in the end. I absolutely adored the epilogue that followed. These brothers are honestly some of the hottest cowboys I have ever read about. I really enjoyed this book and the series!
"The love of a Sawyer man is consuming and overpowering. You don't have a moment to feel neglected or lonely. They love every moment they're near you." -
C.A. Harms certainly knows how to write a story that brings all sorts of emotions out of me. This is certainly my favourite so far. It's been quite a while since I've read a cowboy story and this brings back to me how much I love these sexy guys.
This series is standalone stories of the sexy Sawyer Brothers.
When Noah's heart was broken he didn't think he could open his heart again. When he met Alena everything changed. I was so hoping these two would have their happy ever after. However throw in an ex and things get complicated.
A really great well written story. I went from wanting to scream at characters to having goosebumps while reading this.
I highly recommend this brilliant read. -
I absolutely LOVE the Sawyer Brothers Series. I couldn't wait to read Noah's story. The brother who has closed off his heart when someone he loved left him years ago then struggled after the loss of his father. He had just begun to open his heart again with Alena when Stacey comes back into his life with a surprise...his son. This opens the floodgates of love for Noah and I loved seeing him come alive again with his son and Alena. Yes I most definitely wanted to shake him for a few of his mistakes along the way, but loved that Alena stood by her man. I also wanted to kick Stacey a time or two. I so enjoyed Noah's story.
I give Noah's Journey 5 hearts! -
Another great book with a wonderful HEA! And I have to admit probably one of the best epilogue's I've read with a series. It didn't just show you the H/h from the book it showed individual everyone from the whole series. When's Olivia's book coming out I'm so ready! She's going to be a spitfire!!

Just as Alena and Noah start something his past reveals a secret. A son. Now the ex is back and raising all of Alena's past insecurities. While Noah tries to fend of the advances of his ex, an ex he despises all while trying to navigate the world to being a dad to his 4 yr old son.
I really like this series. It is pure romance no twist. There is steamy hot sex. Well built characters. Secondary characters too. I liked the slow build. The way her insecurities affected her actions. They way his trying to navigate his ex, his new relationship with Elena and the time needed to bond and grow close to his son lead to bad decisions on his part. -

Ramblings From This Chick
Noah's Journey is the third book in the Sawyer Brothers series from C.A. Harms. Not only do I love this series, but I love everything I have read from Harms. Each book in this series is a standalone, but the characters are interconnected. If you haven't read the previous books though, you can absolutely jump in here with no problems. I really enjoyed Noah's story, and I liked seeing all my favorite characters from this series again!
Noah was left with a broken heart when his girlfriend left him and the country life behind for the big city. He vowed to never give his heart away again, but four years later he is finally open to taking a chance with Alena. Things are going great until his ex suddenly returns to town, with her nearly four year old son who looks just like Noah. Finding out he is a father and missed out on so much with his son, Noah will do whatever it takes to make sure that he never misses anything again. But with his and Alena's relationship just starting, can he have both his son and the life he was beginning to build with Alena?
I really liked these two. They had so much going for them, just to have everything change! I thought that both Alena and Noah handled things well, considering they had absolutely no idea how to deal with things. Yes they made mistakes and things were far from easy, but it was clear that both of them wanted to make things work despite everything that was going on. Alena had fears and insecurities from her childhood, and Noah's ex didn't help things. I felt really bad for her at times, and yet she was such a great person. She was supportive and understanding with Noah, and she really embraced his son right away. Noah was dedicated to his son and to showing him how important he was to him. I loved seeing him embrace that role instantly, and the love for Austin was clear right away. Though he didn't always handle things the best with Alena, it was clear that he cared about her. He had no idea what he was doing or how to balance everything, but he was trying and that was what really mattered. He also wasn't afraid to admit when he messed up and apologize, and honestly that is something that made me fall for him even more! These two had great chemistry and a clear connection, and I loved seeing them together!
The only thing that I will say is that I felt like this book focused more everything that was going on with Noah and Austin as well as the family and his ex than it did on Noah and Alena's growing relationship. Their relationship almost felt like a subplot here with everything else that was going on. Not that I didn't enjoy seeing him become a father and learning how to deal with that change, but I missed some of Alena and Noah really connecting here. I believed their connection and their feelings, but I would have liked to have seen more of it. That was especially true for the epilogue. While it was good to see how things turned out down the road and getting caught up on all of the Sawyer brothers and their women, we saw a lot had gone on for Noah and Alena, yet we didn't get to experience it. There was so much more story there for them, and I was sad to have missed it. I felt like we were just told the highlights, and I think we missed out on a lot by not actually seeing it. I still really loved Noah and Alena, and I definitely think that fans of this series will enjoy this book. I have to say that I am most excited about the next book in this series though, and getting a glimpse at Olivia's story has me chomping at the bit for more! I have loved her since we first met her, and I cannot wait to get her story! After growing up with her dad and uncles, she is a feisty one and I know I am going to love her even more than I already do! I highly recommend this series, and you can't go wrong with anything from C.A. Harms.

JOSIE'S REVIEW 4.5 STARS
This author has a talent for writing brilliant and powerful love novels where I can’t help but fall in love with her characters and their stories. I have waited for Noah’s book since we got Sawyer’s book and I will say this is was so worth it wait. We get laughs, tears, drama, angst and some really hot cowboy loving.
Noah’s Journey is a fast read but it was wonderful and enjoyable. The prologue was hard and shaped the man Noah was today. For years Noah lived with the guilt that he did something wrong that made his girlfriend up and leave him. He lived his life with his heart closed off and not willing to offer any woman a chance to hurt him again. But he started to trust and open his heart with his friendship with Alena. With Alena he was willing to take a risk and see where things would go. With Alena he was willing to take a risk and see where things would go. Just when he lets his guard down, his ex-girlfriend comes back to town with a secret that will alter Noah and Alena’s life!!
Stacey, I wanted to throat punch. As soon as I read the first page, I knew she was a manipulative, cold hearted witch. She holds something over Noah’s head that makes him makes rash decisions. Alena on the other hand, I loved. This woman was the total package, classy, gorgeous, proud a confident (me I would have decked Stacey but I am not classy). She was very understanding with Noah, and I wished she would have been tougher at times. Alena knows that he has to deal with the secret that Stacey has revealed but Noah’s detachment puts a wedge in their relationship. She loved Noah and wanted what was best for him and did not want to add more stress to his already difficult time.
Noah is not perfect, he makes mistakes and he unintentionally hurts Alena’s. You can tell that Noah is confused and has a lot going in his life. He doesn’t realize the damage he is doing to his relationship with Alena and how he is hurting her until his brothers and family tell him. Noah is forced to try to repair the damage his actions have caused but is too late? Will Noah’s ex-girlfriend’s return cause him to lose the only woman that has ever truly loved him?
What I love the most is how this author creates stories and characters where they are not picture perfect. Each couple has a journey they have to take in order to find their happiness. The Epilogue was epic! I really loved it. When I got to that part my heart melted and I fist-pumped and shouted. I can’t wait to see what is next for this author. -
Noah’s story is one of the best love story- its filled with doubt, angst, love, and most of all- the fight to keep what is his- his lady and his son.
Alena and Noah have been hiding their feelings for awhile .Finally Noah has been ready to allow himself to proceed with this relationship; Alena has loved Noah for a while and is so happy that he is ready to let himself trust in their budding relationship. Just when things are starting out, a blast from Noah’s past shows up and brings back a 4 year old secret that shakes Noah to the core- a son he didn’t know about. To which that sets Noah off and makes him want to cause damage for the pain he is in. Noah wants back the years he missed and he now steps back from Alena to make time with his son and make sure his ex-girlfriend doesn’t take off with their son.
Alena is heartsick over the grief Noah is in; I know I would be if this was my love going thru this but I kind of feel Noah is being somewhat of a jerk. Alena is a sweet woman who puts Noah first but slowly starts feeling like he is backing away on purpose. She wants him to know his son but the distance puts a pall on their relationship and the ex-girlfriend doesn’t help matters. Noah is a man who definitely doesn’t get that he is in the wrong until he gets smacked in the face with his actions that he is losing the one person who truly loves him and has wanted him happy and has put him and his son first. Noah rushed to repair their relationship but is it too late? Will his ex-girlfriend get her comeuppance? For I know she sure needs it!!
I enjoyed the flow of this story and getting to see that not everything is rosy in a relationship; that there is a give and a take in order to make it work. I loved the ending but it was slightly rushed for my take. I would have liked a more rounded ending but overall it was good. Noah is a good man who makes Alena happy. I loved the epilogue and cannot wait for part two of the Sawyer book to come out on the niece.
My rating: 4.7 stars *****

This book kept me up until 3 AM I had to finish it. Those Sawyer brothers phew... This book was a phenomenal love story filled with angst, jealousy, doubt and a character you just wanted to smack and yell at saying stay the F away from Noah & Alena.
Noah and Alena have had this attraction to one another for as long as we have known the Sawyer brothers. But because Noah has been burned before he never took that extra step. But hes finally coming to his sense and hes done holding back. what happens when they finally take that leap and someone from Noah's past comes back with a major secret? Will they be able to work through it or will this secret be too big?
I want to tell you so bad what this secret is but I cant all I can say is you need to read Noah's Journey and find out for yourself. This can be read as a standalone but to understand who all the characters are i advise reading from the first book.
I loved all the Sawyer brothers but I think Noah is my favorite of all. C.A. Harms knows how to put together a story that will keep you flipping the pages to find out more. I am a Harms fan for live and will not hesitate to read one of her books.

"The Sawyer boys were raised right. They know how to love and adore. They have both the gentleness a woman needs and the heavy love a woman craves. The love of a Sawyer man is consuming and overpowering. You don’t have a moment to feel neglected or lonely. They love every moment they’re near you."
I love my Sawyer boys! They all have something special to offer. For me, Ryan was the protective one, Jackson was the wild one, and Noah was the loving one. They all had a little of everything, but those are the main characteristics that come to my mind when I think of them individually.
I was excited to get Ryan's story. The way book 2 ended, I knew it was going to be good! We finally get to meet the infamous ex and man was she NOT worth Ryan's love!! Haha! I'm so glad he opened his eyes and gave Alena a chance. She was perfect for him. They really were a cute couple that I'm going to miss. Although, I can't wait to read about the next generation of the Sawyer clan! And last, but definitely not least, I'm loving that as I read more and more books by C.A. Harms, they are getting even more sexier!! LOVING the hotness Ms. Harms!!!

What is it about those Sawyer men that make women fall head over heels for them???
Well in the case of Noah Sawyer that's an easy answer, he is just awesome.
Let's start with how his journey began. Man meets woman, woman turns into a a selfish bitch, thankfully man looses woman. 4 years in a looooooong as time to drop a bomb on your ex that will change his entire world. Especially when your ex is a conniving bitch. Noah has moved on from Stacy. Meeting Alena was a game changer for him. Before meeting her he swore off love. But all of that changed for him in a blink of an eye.
C.A. did an amazing job as usual. Noah could arrest me anytime he wants -
I'm torn I like the characters but Noah was a disappointment. I was willing to look past several times in the book when I felt he should have groveled more but the epilogue gave one moe reason he wasn't the hero his brothers were.
It's still a good story and worth reading. -
Noah Sawyer had years to finally get over the one that got away, but it is not until Stacey returns that a secret she was holding comes to live and it changes Noah forever. Alena and Noah had just started getting together but it is not until his priorities become overwhelming does she realize just how much she has fallen for him. Can Noah make peace with his past to provide hope for his future? Or will the connection he has with Alena be for nothing? Highly emotional and so good I could not put it down this third book in the series should not be missed. Everyone needs their own Sawyer brother.

What a good book. Hated Stacey with a passion

Noah’s Journey by C.A. Harms was a great 5+ star read.
Romance, Humor, Hot Alpha Cop/Cowboy
“I just can’t do this anymore, Noah. This is not the life I want or where I want to be forever. I thought you wanted more too. More than this quiet town with no real hope of being somebody
What a great read. I loved Noah right from the beginning, what a sweetie with a big heart.
This is Alena and Noah’s story told in alternating POV’s.
In the Prologue, Noah’s fiancee Stacey leaves him because she want’s to do more with her life.
We jump ahead 4 years, while on a date Noah and Alena, get interrupted while kissing by someone who recognizes Noah. Stacey, his ex-fiancee, and she wasn’t alone.
In shock Alena leaves Noah to talk to Stacey, she can’t help but wonder what is going to happen with their relationship now that Stacey was back. Noah can’t believe that he has a son and Stacey never told him. He has lost so many years with him and is determined to get that time back.
Will Alena lose Noah to Stacey now that he knows about their son?
(Alena) A need to feel wanted was something Amber, Bailey, and I shared
Alena is a very strong woman that put up with some things that I definitely would not have. They both had a great core group of friends and family for support. I absolutely loved Hayden.
Noah was a very determined man when it came to his son, he has such a big heart. There are so many ways this story could have gone and I have to say I was very happy. Although I couldn’t help but think Stacey wasn’t as manipulative as I thought she could have been. There was no cliffhanger and I really enjoyed the Epilogue of all of the brothers and spouses. It was great to see how they had all moved on. Noah’s Journey is #3 in the Sawyer Brothers series by C.A. Harms, I highly recommend you 1-click and get started. You will love it.

There are no words that would give this book justice. It was truly phenomenal and my favorite in the series! CA Harms' writing only gets better with each book she releases! And I absolutely LOVE THAT. The Sawyer Brothers Series is made up of interconnecting standalone novels, and while each book focuses on a different brother, I would strongly suggest you read the novels in order.
Throughout the first two installments in the series, we had seen Noah here and there and had learned a bit about his past. Not much, really, but enough to make me anxious to read HIS story. And boy, CA Harms did NOT disappoint.
Right off the bat my heart ACHED – like seriously, ached – for Alena and Noah and their situation. After months of flirting and sexual tension, they had finally given it a go, only to have been slapped with a life-changing surprise. A secret that not only affected Noah, but everyone around him as well.
I HATED Noah’s ex-fiancé, Stacey. HATED HER. And let me tell you, Harms did a FANTASTIC job when writing Alena’s insecurities about Stacey. Trust me. From personal experience I can truly say, the author NAILED it with her reactions. I’ve been there. It’s NOT easy. Noah and Alena’s relationship wasn’t always the easiest, but letting go of a Sawyer is simply impossible. ;)
"I never intended to make you think I didn't want anything with you. I just don't know how to balance it all out yet." I opened my eyes and found her looking up at me with a different expression than the hurt one she wore less than five minutes ago. "I'm sorry, Alena. This is not what I envisioned happening after I decided I could no longer stay away from you." - Noah
Noah, just like his brothers, Ryan and Jackson, is 100% swoon-worthy! He’s one hell of a SEXY COWBOY that loves purely and truly. He’s loyal and will do his best to protect those he loves the most.
I whole-heartedly LOVE all these characters. Their banter, their interactions – they’re so natural and funny!! You can’t help but want to be a part of their family. Honestly, this book had a bit of everything: emotional angst, passion, steamy scenes, humor, drama, great characters, and a fantastic plot line! Overall, I fully enjoyed this 3rd installment in the Sawyer Brothers Series and strongly recommend you one-click!
And that surprise at the end? OMG! YES!!!!!!!! FIVE STARS!
"I love you, Alena." He rested his forehead against mine. "No one could ever change that." – Noah

3.5 well written but I didn’t like Noah
I loved the first two books in this series (especially the first one.) This book was very well written. I couldn’t put it down because I really wanted to know what happened. There were no slow parts and I never once wanted to skim (and I’m a big skimmer). My problem with this book is Noah and the epilogue. (The rest of this review will contain spoilers).
I just didn’t like Noah that much. I loved Ryan and Jackson but I just didn’t like how Noah treated Alena. This book starts out with Noah and Alena on their first official date and in the middle of it Stacey (Noah’s ex fiancé) shows up with a 3 year old son that she’s kept secret from Noah. This devastates Noah, but he’s so happy to get to know his son. He hates Stacey for keeping his son from him. She’s gives him some BS story that she didn’t know he was his. (That turns out to be a lie. Her current relationship fell apart and she had no choice but to come home).
Anyway... his son becomes his main priority as he should. But he ends up ignoring and blowing Alena off several times because of Stacey’s manipulations. Alena forgives him immediately every time. Normally I would be fine with that, but I just felt like Alena was always an afterthought. Yes his son should always be number one, but I always felt like Alena was very distant second in this book.
The first two books ended with an engagement this one ends with an acknowledgment that Stacey would always be a problem but he was all in with Alena. So ok fine I’m expecting something great for them in the epilogue but no. The extended epilogue gives an update on Ryan and Jackson and their new additions to their families ( which I loved reading). But we get to Noah and Alena’s part and we come to find out that yes they got married but she soon after loses their baby at 12 weeks. As if that isn’t tragic enough, Alena goes through a depression because of it (totally understandable) and it almost ruins their marriage. Then Noah states that he isn’t proud of his actions during this time. What the heck does that mean???? Did he cheat? Move out —what?? Who wants to read this in the epilogue when we’re looking for a happy ending? Apparently Trinity forces them to work it out and they do and go on to have a baby girl— thank goodness but that whole tragedy kind of ruined what should have been a happy ending. -
All three of the Sawyer brothers will leave their mark, but this is Noah’s story and i loved it although I can't say it is my favourite of the series because really it is impossible to choose, they have all been exceptional.
Noah never felt the need to follow his ex when she made it clear that she was leaving town with our without him but when she rocked back up years later, she had good reason to worry about facing him again, because his world would never be the same and her reasoning may never be enough.
Alena and Noah have been skirting around a relationship for far too long, so when they finally get their act together and agree to a date, we should have known that it was never going to be that easy…what we would not have fathomed was the storm that was going to blow back into town and leave them all reeling.
One glance was all it took for Noah’s heart to be completely smitten but that didn’t mean that his anger was tempered in the slightest, it just meant that he had to learn to curb the rage.
Being kept from his son by his ex-fiancé for four years is a painful realisation but he is absolutely determined that he will not miss one single moment of his boys life from now, but what impact will that have on the blossoming relationship that he has with Alena?
Balancing his emotions is not easy and Noah doesn’t always get it right but he tries, he really does but putting the record straight between Alena and himself means finally ensuring that Stacey knows that any illusion that she might harbour that they can pick up from where they left off and form a family, is a pipedream and she needs to understand that his future lies with Alena.
I liked the fact that Alena was willing to step back and put herself first, to accept that Noah had to concentrate on his son but she also took stock and was prepared to fight for the woman she wanted to be, her needs were as important to her as Noah was and while he sorted his business, she was making sure she had all her ducks in a row.
I enjoyed the way the two of them worked on their own situations but yet always kept each other as a significant influence and that when the time was right they rekindled a flame that was never going to be ready to go away.
This has been a super series and I was thrilled when I got to the end and realised that we have Olivia’s story to come next!!! -
Pain, regret and a big secret!
This is the story of the third Sawyer brother, Noah. This is definitely one of the most romantic series I have read. This installment follows Noah through a difficult time finding out a secret that’s been kept from him by his ex fiancé Stacy.
Noah and Alena have been skirting around each other for months. Until she finally plucks up the courage to ask him out on a date. With his past experience Noah finds it difficult to trust women. But as he gets to know her, Noah finds that he is opening up to the relationship, and maybe even love. That is until his past comes knocking.
Once Noah’s world is rocked, Alena takes a step back. He grows distant, and she decides to focus on her career instead. This is a difficult situation to be in and having her heart broken is not something she wants to do.
Can Alena and Noah get past this hurdle? Or will it be the end of their relationship? I really loved the story and it’s definitely worth a read!

I have never been into cowboys, but for these Sawyer brothers, I would totally change. Noah's Journey is an amazing story. Noah spent years wondering why his long time girlfriend would up and leave. He couldn't help wondering what he had done wrong. But just when he was finally past it, and seeing someone new, Stacey comes back to town with a secret she's been hiding from him. For those years, he had a son he had no idea about. Alena has waiting for the chance to ask Noah out, and when she finally does, and things begin to grow, his ex comes back to town. She has strong feelings for him, but she would never stand in the way of his family, so she quietly stands back. But when it looks like Stacey has her hooks back into him, Alena really starts to wonder if she should just bow out. Will Noah's ex be too much to handle?
I LOVED this heart wrenching, and yet beautiful story from the very beginning. The character development is great, with all the amazing secondaries present and accounted for. A very well written story line flows smoothly, and some hilarious well placed humor had me laughing until my sides hurt. C.A. Harms' talented writing style always brings out my emotions, and Noah's Journey is no exception. The chemistry is of the charts sizzlin, leading to SMOKIN' HOT sexy scene goodness. It was very bittersweet to see the fast forwared years later of all the brothers, as I have fallen in love with each and every one of them hard, but C.A. Harms has teased me that it's not quite over, and I CANNOT WAIT for the next book! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -
When the past butts into your future…
At last, we get Noah’s and Alena’s story! If you have read the previous books in the series than you know this is the last Sawyer brothers to find his true love. Or has he? When Noah finds out he has a four-year old son he is shocked, ecstatic and feeling every other emotion in between. Dealing with the emotional turmoil and uncertainty of his new future, Noah is in a place that Alena wasn’t sure she fit in anymore. Their relationship was just beginning to go somewhere and maybe three (or four) was a crowd…
I love this series where the characters are real people, flawed and full of fear and uncertainty just like everyone else. Noah is a COWBOY! While that should really be enough there is a lot more to him than just a gorgeous…smile. He’s not perfect but he is a stand-up guy so while he suddenly has tunnel vision and inadvertently feeds Alena’s fears, you can’t help but feel for what he is going through. Instant fatherhood and an ex that is, shall we say, challenging, is no picnic. Alena always worried about her own self-worth in their relationship and Noah didn’t help make things better with his changed behaviour. Okay, yes, I admit it. I did want to give Noah a kick a time or two. And Alena had her moments too when her insecurities seemed to be overwhelming.
Though this story seemed a quieter addition to the series, an adorable child and a cast of characters I still thoroughly enjoy made me happy and misty in turn. The epilogue was a wonderful ending as well as a new beginning – Olivia’s story is to come! -
I love the Sawyer Brother's and this book did not disappoint Noah Sawyer has never wanted to leave his small town so when 4 years ago his then selfish fiancée up and left all because she wanted more than a small town could offer not believing in the love and life her and Noah were building, he never thought he could find that one person to make him whole again until Alena.
Noah and Alena have flirted, shared a few kisses whilst being out amongst his brothers and their partners but its time to take these flirty meets to the next level so what happens when a blast from the past turns up on their first date along with a surprise for Noah.
Noah could have been knocked down by a feather when his ex fiancée turns back up in town with a surprise he's left with feeling's of rage and hurt that this surprise been kept from him for nearly 4 years, he feels guilt for the distance it's put between him and Alena but he has so many things happening and trying to keep everyone happy he's hurting her.
Alena takes a step back from Noah knowing that he needs to be where he is but the feeling off being second best, an after thought doesn't sit well with her she's always been treated this way. Alena decides that she will make this town her home, she has her cousin here and can carve her career here just as well as being in the big city but can she get over her feeling for Noah or will she wait for him.
Go get your copy and see what happens between Noah and Alena you wont be disappointed. -
4.5 Stars
I have to say I have been dying to get my hands on Noah's book since we were left with so many questions at the end of Jacksons book.
C.A Harms is one of my favourite authors so I always leave whatever I'm reading to start anything new of hers! Her stories always draw me in and I feel like I'm living the story right alongside the characters.
I loved Noah, although there were a few times I think he was totally insensitive and wrapped up in himself but at the same time I kind of understood to a degree. The way he handled the situation with Austin was a lot better than most men would have handled it. He loved that little boy instantly and their bond was beautiful!!
Alena was a great heroine for me, she handled the situation a lot better than I would have and she never fought with Noah about things he couldn't control. My heart broke for Alena at times, she put out this front but was so insecure and all she wanted was for someone to put her first and love her. She is one of my favourites!
Stacey was a complete and utter b!tch, I wanted to strangle the life from her. I hated the way she acted and how she tried to make Noah jump through hoops to get time with Austin.
This was another brilliant read from C.A Harms and I can't wait to get a story from Olivia and hopefully see where the characters from this series have ended up! -
I received an ARC of this book from Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.
Here I am again with yet another contemporary romance from C.A. Harms. You know, I won't go so far as to say that she is my favorite author. But she definitely is one of my go-to authors. There's something about the small-town, family-oriented romances that she writes. This series alone has given us three wonderfully amazing men who loved deeply and fiercely. From Ryan to Jackson, and now with Noah.
I like this story because the love story developed through time. We've met the hero and the heroine early on in the series, and we know that there's a huge potential there. But it isn't until this book that we really get a huge payoff. I really couldn't stop reading this book. I just wanted to know what happens next. I liked the heroine a lot. As for Noah, I can't really say that he's my favorite brother because the other two Sawyers were just as great as him, and I enjoyed all three books in different ways. What I can say, though, is that C.A. Harms really writes good love stories. In a genre where there are lots of tropes and plots get recycled over and over again, it's nice to read her stories. Yes, these stories can be read in other books too, but her storytelling give each book that unique feel that only her books can. -
C.A. Harms is an amazing writer, her third book Noah’s Journey in the Sawyer brothers series will have you chomping at the bit for more.
Noah is the last of the three Sawyer brothers to find true love but it's not any easy journey for him, Alena is everything he wants but when things are ready to go to the next stage his past come back to haunt him and his life is sent into turmoil.
As he drama unfold you are gasping and praying that everything goes right, you feel Alena’s insecurities because her demons haunt her and you know Noah is trying to do the right thing because he fears he’ll loose his son.
There will be happy times and sad times, you will cry and laugh so hard at times throughout this book. All the old character come back and surround both Alena's and Noah and it becomes one happy family.
I just loved it and the series, I love the way C.A. harms draws you into the book and make you feel part of it and the ending is wonderful. C.A. Harms even has a little surprise for her fans.
I gave this book 5 stars and the whole series is a smash. So if you love a little bit of southern loving and love a cowboy who is going to protect you and take control. Who will love you to the end and make you his world. This is the series for you.
