Broken Chains Reviews

Doug spends the whole book expanding the story of the man possessed by myriad demons - The Maniac of Gadara.
He tells the story in three parts:
1. Showing how completely lost the demoniac was
2. Explains in great dfetail the 'wiles' of the devil
3. Provides (in two parts) a wonderful exposition of the overwhelming love of God.
a. experiencing the Father's total forgiveness
b. shares the required responses, in the section 'Living Like Jesus'....
A special book!! -
The narrow mindedness of this text is likely to alienate many Christians. On top of that, the core message isn’t particularly insightful or useful in its current form. It feels like a single sermon that’s been padded out into a full work, interspersed with oddly disconnected examples.

This brings the New Testament Bible story to life in such a powerful way that you will never forget it. Deliverance is the message throughout this book-deliverance from even the darkest and most evil strongholds-deliverance through Jesus Christ. And it doesn't stop at deliverance-there is also healing and renewed purpose reflected in this absolutely unforgettable story.

There was no better time than the present to read this book. It really helped me get up from the hole l was sinking into. This book was written by Doug Batchelor, President of Amazing Facts.Org, one of the best websites to get bible studies, lesson studies and a variety of other resources for your spiritual life. Broken Chains is a 189 page book that is filled with a life testimony of how God can carry somebody from rugs to riches spiritually. Doug Batchelor tells of how he was once a caveman and how God transforms his life. The book centers on the story of the Demoniac based on Mark 5:1-20 and Luke 8:26-40. l rated this book with 5 stars because l learnt a lot. I am sure you will agree with me, let me share with you a few quotes l got from this book.,.. You can carry on reading my review here;

The book talks about the demoniac who was an outcast of society, until he met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who healed him. The transformed man wanted to continue along with Jesus, but was asked to return to his home and tell others what Jesus had done for him. Very nice book and one that may give you new perspective regarding life's changes.
