Star Wars: Free Comic Book Day 2015 Reviews

Enjoyable enough. I just never understand why Obi-Wan has to look so hapless compared to Annie.

Anakin and Obi-wan are trying to find Count Dooku and General Grievous to bring an end to the Clone Wars. They manage to track them to Ruhe but their ship gets damaged, while on the way to the castle, they lose the men they brought with them and their transportation. When they reach the castle, they discover they have walked into a trap. They are overpowered but the clones were able to repair the ship and they are able to get to safety. They are given s new mission by the Jedi Counsel.

I enjoyed this one-shot. Enjoyed seeing Anakin and Obi-wan again. It's enjoyable to see their banter. Glad they were okay. Hope they'll be able to find Dooku and Grievous soon. Why didn't they just eliminate Dooku and Grievous?

Entertaining - not great, but fun to read

  • Gerta Krapivnitski

    Well drawn and written.
Anakin and Ben were very true to the characters and can we just talk about the beautifulness which was Anakin jumping around :')

  • Rebecca Crunden

Even in comic book form, Obi and Anakin have amazing banter and love. Really makes me miss them. :')

  • Ankit

These small stories of Anakin's and Obiwan's adventures give the ultimate jedi team so much more meaning and so much more pain when reminded of the events in Revenge of the sith.

    Adventures in Clone Wars

Short but well written. Obi-wan and Anakin are kept true to character as they go through their mission and its a believable picture into the beginning of the clone wars.

    Just ok

I live the movie, but don't think the comics are my thing unfortunately. Good little one off though, just for the quick read, but unlikely to bother with anymore.

I absolutely adored this! It's not often that I truly sit and enjoy Star Wars, despite being a massive fan. I find a lot of the media tends to drag on and on but this comic is short and sweet.

I absolutely love Obi-Wan and Anakin; this being so made this comic even better for me. I love their interactions, so canon to the films and with humour that's so welcomed.

The only con I have about this comic was that the art wasn't very smooth, and I didn't enjoy looking at it so much, hence why it took me an entire day to read this.

That aside, this is a good, short comic book and I wish there were more like this. This was almost perfection.

The events in this story take place approximately four and a half months before the events in "Revenge of the Sith".
Obi-wan and Anakin are on the hunt for Count Dooku and General Grievous in hopes of finding an end to the Clone Wars.
Good story where we see more of the circumstances that geared Anakin closer to the dark side of the force. Great art work with terrific color, which belies the actual events about to happen.

very good comic really enjoyed it

For a free comic, i think its worth the read. Its only 24 pages. The art style does a really good job of capturing the appearance of Anaken and Obiwan. I was not completely sold with some of the spoken dialogue, but STARWARS is not known for its believability in such matters to begin with. Overall,i enjoyed what i read. It is a very quick read as i stated previously. To be honest this comic even exceeded my expectations!

    3.5*

This is my first real experience with comic books and I can't say I was disappointed, I think I was just expecting something different from this particular one. The comic book itself was free so it's hardly surprising that there wasn't a great deal in the way of story but it was a solid effort.

The story was completely believable as part of the canon and the artwork was wonderful. Overall, I'm glad I picked this one up.

Just the perfect dose of Anakin/Obi Wan to get me through the day

    Good

Интересно. Вселенная Звездных Войн. Отличная графика. И что самое главное - бесплатно!) Мне понравилось. Рекомендую всем любителям Звездных войн. Good.

    Worth reading

Mind blowing. No words to say. I am eager to read the next chapter but the sad thing is that I have to pay for it.

    Rating: ⭐️⭐️1/2

Anakin was rad in this one, but Obi-Wan seemed even grumpier than usual. Not worthy of a ⭐️⭐️1/2 deduction on its own, but the writing was pretty lackluster besides—except for this gem (ironically from Kenobi):

Look, I know you seek more in your life, something bigger and… well, different. I used to see it as a stumbling block to your truly becoming a great Jedi. But now I’m not so certain. When this war is finally over, Anakin, whatever path you wish to follow, I will try to support you as best as I can. You have my promise, my old friend.

  • Alan Lopez

    Entretenida

Una aventura de Anakin y Obi Wan en medio de las guerras clon en donde, por conversaciones, se puede ver cómo el primero ya se siente tentado a seguir un camino diferente al de los jedi.

  • Tania

    Action packed

A mini adventure starring Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi, this comic covers a single battle in their quest to find General Grievous and Count Dooku. Fantastic artwork, clear to follow panels, and strong dialog results in a compelling comic.

I had forgotten what it felt like to truly enjoy the universe of anything Star Wars without having it hurt like hell.
I really, really enjoyed this short journey to the past, to uncomplicated adventures of characters I love so much.

    Excellent!

I normally choose a comic book to read where the artist is a talented professional. Then comes the storyline. Both hit five star here.Well done!
