  With each book in this series, they continue to get better. While this is a standalone, I recommend reading this series in order for maximum enjoyment. If you have been following this series then you have been patiently waiting for this book. Clay Gibbs stole the show and stole my heart.
  
  This book was amazing. It was sexy, sweet, suspenseful, angsty, intense, passionate, and had quite a few twists along the way. Mr. Clay Gibbs may be my favorite yet. This author is brilliant in grabbing you from the very beginning and before you know it, you have devoured this entire book.
  
  This is Clay and Jade's story. They have chemistry and passion. They have tons of sparks zinging between them. But it is not going to be easy. The past is coming back to haunt them. Ex lovers are out to seek revenge for rejection. Can these two find a happy ending and real love despite it all?
  
  I loved everything about Clay and Jade's book. Man oh man did they put you through the feels. These two had both experienced loss and rejection in their lives. I loved how Clay was there for her no matter and. I did get frustrated with Jade at times but by the end, she has stole my heart too.

  Gaining Gibbs is book four in the Marco’s MMA Boys series. It was a great 5 star read.

  I think about Jade and all of her fiery passion. She’s by far the best I’ve ever had in my bed, but for us, we are better friends.
  
  What a mind twist of a read.
  
  Jade is a real “Fire Cracker” and has Gibbs enamoured. He has been bed hopping for three years and has decided enough is enough. He’s finally going to go for what he has always wanted “Jade”. Just when things start to heat up for them a bomb is dropped on Gibbs that will leave Jade in a spiral.
  
  As Jade tries to move on by dating someone new, several WTH moments occur that I did not see coming. Will Gibbs and Jade work through things and get their happily ever after?
  
  As I walk out, women scream to get my attention, but the only one who has it is the fiery redhead sitting in our family section.
  
  S.M. Donaldson does a great job of bringing you into Jade and Gibb’s story. You feel every emotion they do, I loved it. I especially loved the twists, they add a great element to the story right along with all of the characters. You must 1-click this book right along with the rest of the series, if you like surprises and twists this is a series for you. Thank you!

  Wow! These stories just get better and better and I am so glad I took a chance on Letting Lox In all those months ago. This story had me hooked from the very beginning, even though I was determined to only read a couple of chapters then get some sleep. However it was so good I just couldn't put it down and two and a half hours later I was at the end and wide awake!! but really couldn't care less as it was totally worth it!
  
  Although it's hard to decide between all of the guys in this series whose my favourite (mainly because it changes after every book!) but there was something about Gibbs that really grabbed me, and I was really rooting for him and Jade. Who I also loved, with all her fiery spirit and attitude especially when she was held hostage and chose to sing annoying songs to drive her captors crazy! I l especially loved how she thinks of her sister Kara and her opinion that anyone crazy enough to kidnap Jade would hand her back after an hour because she would irritate them so much. Which is honestly something my dad always says about me! :-)
  
  Overall though this book was fab and thoroughly enjoyable, with lots of fun, hot moments and a little action/suspense too. I would happily recommend it and the series to everyone as it really is worth reading and one I hope will continue.

After some trouble with a cheating ex in college, and some damages caused by a baseball bat, she calls Clay to come to the rescue. After all, she knows she can always count on him no matter what. He’s always been there for her.
  
  Clay and Jade hooked up a few years ago but decided they worked better as friends. Well, Jade decided that…Clay wants his Firecracker. When Jade decides to get her head out of her a**, will it be too late? Traumatic events, debts owed, crooked doctors, crazy exes…will the timing and circumstances ever work out for the two?
  
  Gaining Gibbs is book 4 in the Marco’s MMA Boys series and while it can be read as a standalone, you’re missing out on a lot of fun if you don’t grab up the rest. Steamy sex, lots laugh out loud moments, lovable characters…this series has it all!

  This was a belter – a new author to me and I am hooked. Gaining Gibbs will have you reaching for the tissues because their story was simply beautiful.
  This was and is a love story of the very highest order with characters that simply deserve the very best that life can possibly offer.
  Jade was a super character, she knew her own mind but needed to pay more attention to what her heart was telling her. She is relentless when she sets her mind to something but for a smart woman, she didn’t always see what was staring her in the face.
  Clay has a past that was enough to have broken a lesser being, he survived the death of his parents, a brutal act that was meant to have claimed his life too but the universe had bigger things in mind for the formidable Mr Gibbs and death was not on the cards for him that day. But pain has taken root and with no blood to call his own he has forged a new family at the gym, with the fellow fighters.
  Clay and Jade have history, he stepped aside in order to not be the reason that she stayed behind and gave up on her dreams, while I think she secretly hoped that he may have stepped up to the plate and put up more of an objection but what they have now is the fact that they are both front and centre in each other’s lives again and neither of them is willing to back down again – this is a love thing whether they are willing to admit it at first or not!
  Jade has wanted Clay from almost the day she set eyes on him and for him, well…she is it but can this feisty redhead and this bad ass fighter find their common ground? Can they see that they were always destined to be so much more than just friends?
  This was a charmingly romantic read. It dished up characters that were impossible not to love and gave them style and pizzazz that made them just jump from the page.
  The secondary characters brought their A game and made me smile to my very core.
  A book not to be missed.

  SM Donaldson has managed to do it again. Each time I read one of the amazing books in the awesome series I think to myself "the next one can't top this, or even compare". Boy was I wrong again. She has managed yet again to write a solid story that holds it's own among some really great companion books in this series.
  
  Gibbs is book #4 in the series and I suggest that you read each one, in order. Although SM does a beautiful job touching base on all the important info you need to follow the story thru, you would really miss out and how truly great the series it. Over half the fun has been watching it build on each other, the surprises, secrets, and WTH moments that you could only appreciate truly if you have followed each character in each book.
  
  I love all the characters in this series. I feel like they are my best friends and family. I can picture myself there, feeling there pain, enjoying their excitement, or hearing it first hand from the character at a girls night. This book is no different. I love that I got to know the characters in this story better. Although they held steady roles in previous books, you really don't get to know THEM until this book.
  
  This book is slam full of excitement, what if's, oh no's and I can't tell you how many times I found myself fingers crossed or wanting to bite my nails.
  
  If smoking hot MMA fighters aren't enough reason for you, SM did the curtesy of throwing in a sexy doctor and some small town drug ring suspense. Oh.. so you wanted more?? Great, b/c she also included crazy ex's and some work place drama to keep you on your toes! Oh yea! It has everything.
  
  I highly recommend this series. Don't wait. Order Gibbs today, and if you have not already get to know Lox, Sly, and Huck along the way!

  I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, anger, secrets, crazy ex, kidnapping, abuse, and heartbreak.

  This is Jade and Gibbs’s story. Jade and Gibbs are friends. They tried to be more and it didn’t work out. Now years later Gibbs wants to prove to Jade that they can work. They decide that they will try to have a relationship. They go on one date and have one night. That is all they will get as someone is determined to keep them apart and will try anything to do it. Once the person breaks them up she makes sure they will not be together again. Jade tries to move on and goes out with a Doctor. They start dating but she still wants Gibbs. Can they ever get over each other? When Gibbs gets shocking news and leaves town for a few days break he is reeling from the lies and the heartbreak. When Jade is threatened she turns to Gibbs to protect her. Now she must choose if she wants the doctor or Gibbs. When she chooses will they both be okay with the outcome? Or will it push one of them over the edge? Just when you thought the one crazy was gone another one pops up. Can Gibbs protect Jade from her fate or will she have to protect herself? Will she even survive what is in store for her? Or will Gibbs finally get the woman he has loved for years?
  
  I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

  WOW WOW WOW! Gaining Gibbs is the first book I have read by this author, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!
  
  Jade Chambers is a firecracker. When her temper snaps, she's a ball of fire that will burn everything in her path. She and Clay Gibbs have been close friends for years, but he has wanted more for a while now. When Jade's life is messed up by a spoiled rich boy, she calls Clay to come and get her. Clay is an up and coming MMA fighter, with demons from his past that he's fighting. He's learned to fight for what he wants, and he's been waiting for Jade for a long time. Just as he's getting his wish, a hook up is trying to mess it all up. Can Clay get Jade to stop running long enough to really give them a chance?
  
  I just couldn't get enough of this story, and finished it all in one sitting. The character development is great, with tons of secondaries that rock. An addicting, well written story line flows very smoothly. S.M. Donaldson has an easy and talented writing style that hooked me from the very beginning, with well placed humor that had my stomach hurting from laughing so hard. She adds in some twists that took the intensity up a notch that shocked me. Clay and Jade's chemistry is tangible, leading to SIZZLING sexy scenes, I CANNOT WAIT to read more by this author in the future. Overall, this is an amazing story that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  MUST READ I do recommend reading books 1-3 first not just jump in just so some parts make more since then others.For my first book by this author I was amazed at the writing and couldn't get enough of it. It has sex, loads of it, fun, love and filled with fire and heat. It's one of those feel good romance stories that you can read over and over again and love the outcome each and every time you read it.

  I really enjoyed this book. I was drawn in right away. All the characters are engaging. I will say they do have potty mouths, but it fits their characters and I'm one not bothered by that. Krista Jade's niece is a cutie. This MMA group is very right knit when one hurts they all do as well when a celebration is in order. Jade and Clay go through a lot in this one, but can they get their timing right and acknowledge what they are feeling.

  I loved this book.
  I loved getting to know Gibbs more. I loved that being a big bad fighter can still turn into a marshmallow when it comes to the people he loves.
  This book at parts were predictable and others times it surprised me.
  This book can be a stand alone book. If you haven't read the previous book in this series you will want to. I loved all of this series. I haven't been able to get enough of these mma boys and their girls they fall hard for.

  This is the story of Clay Gibbs and Jade Chambers, a redhead made of fire! They like each other but are too stubborn to make something about it until it's almost too late. They need to get over a lot of stuff to finally live their dream life.

  This is why I love this series. It has a bit of everything. Mystery, crime, violence and lots of loving from sexy MMA men with their women.
  Gibbs and Jade sire took their time getting there and dancing around each other but things worth getting sometimes just take time.
