Uoria Mates Complete Series: Books 110 (Uoria Mates, #1-10) Reviews

Absolutely amazing. I loved the stories with this box set. You get the first 10 books of the Uoria Mates series as well as the first 6 books in the Angondra series. Both series take place on an alien planet, and are about how human woman end up falling in love.

An fun and exciting alien romance series. The series is a set of 10 books. It was s best to read them in order. The series is about an alien race that is allowing some humans to visit and study on their planet. The alien males have one woman that is meant to be their mate. And it seems that human women are able to be those destined mates. But what no one expects is that another alien race is trying to take over the planet. And they very much enjoy causing pain and fear.
I enjoyed the romance that goes from instant to a deep connection. Each female and male brings something totally different to the story. -
It was okay, but the writing style was not to my taste, seemed amateurish. There were a lot of grammatical errors, which is big pet peeve of mine. Half of the omnibus is another series entirely, which I did not like. I realize that there are those that will probably enjoy it, but it just was not for me.

This collection of shorts was OK. In some of the stories the characters were better developed than others and in some others the story itself was weak as well. All together it was an OK read. Perhaps it is more of a 2.5 stars.

Great read
I was captured from page one til the end. This book is amazingly awesome and can't wait to read the others -
Short sweet and to the point! I like that.

Loved it
I loved all the books kept me fully entertained and couldn't put it down. Awesome read. I loved all of the series. -
I highly enjoyed this series of stories!
There are many stories packed into this book. I love the variety and found this series fun to read and I believe you will enjoy them too! -
I really want read these books but I cant find them can anyone help I've looked on Amazon and there is no trace of them its so frustrating

Enjoyed
The series was enjoyable and had really good sex scenes. There were a few editing errors within but not too many to distract me. Recommend reading. -
A collection of short reads, this box set was okay. Some of the characters and their stories were better developed than others, but the stories were all entertaining in their own way.

This was my first introduction to Ruth Anne Scott, it was an ok set of books. If your looking for the depth you would get from Evangeline Anderson, MK Eidem, SE Smith, or Ruby Dixon you won't get that in this set of books. These are short novella length books with some of the couples getting a 2 book span. The editing isn't very good and you will see plenty of misspelled words and names of characters and some repetition in themes. Over all it wasn't horrible just not that good either. This set was ok to pass a few days while waiting for the release of another book. I will probably read more from this author in the future because we all know there are very few who write descent Alien/SciFi romance books and this author though underdeveloped wrote a story I could read. Just wish there was more depth to the stories, the characters were fleshed out more, and there was some editing going on. You might find yourself skimming through pages here and there. Take a gander if you're in the mood for alien/scifi romance, but only get the set when it goes on sale not worth the $10 price tag. Though having all the books lumped together was and is a fantastic way to purchase a series.

DNF - got to 9% and had to stop. I got whiplash from all the mood swings and constant events happening to the h. Felt like I was reading one big run on sentence that lasted chapters.
Spoiler alert (at least the first 9% of the book)
Ex. She is excepted as a member of the society within 5 mins of meeting the king. She hates the H, but has sex with him that forms a mate bond, gets up to shower but gets dressed to take a walk, steps outside, closes her eyes to take a deep breath then is flying thru the air getting attacked by a wild beast. She gets rushed to hosp, dies, healer brings her back to life, h forms a bond with healer, decides she loves the H, goes home with H, they go to sleep, H has sex with h to wake her up, they break the bed, H gets hurt, she heals him, she has seizures, passes out, wakes up 3 MONTHS later from a coma, etc...
It's just went on and on. All this takes place the same day they meet each other. I just couldn't do it anymore. -
This could have been a lot better if it actually stopped at the 10th book. But no. This is one of those that they think the first 10 books weren't enough so they shove in more stories to try and get you to read more since the author is paid per numbers of pages read. I don't have a problem with that, but the stories that came after the first 10 books (which were what this box set was actually about) were just awful. Put those in another box set or whatever. It set me off so much that I returned this set without finishing, returned the next box set in this series without even reading it, and I have no desire to read this author anymore.

DNF
It's sad really. First of all, please, find some Beta readers, re read your work 5-10 times if necessary to catch the awful spelling/grammar. Second of all, the "aliens" were not even close to believable. They seem way too human in speech and demeanor and just everything about them screams human, not beings from another planet. Isn't that the point of writing a book like this? A good example - Ruby Dixon !!! Their appearance isn't really described, their housing seems again - human like, I mean, what alien finishes a sentence with "... yeah?" I truly do not understand the high ratings this is getting. -
A great bundle
The version I received has not only the Uoria Mates series, which takes up the first half of the book, but also The Chosen and another series in the second half. I only read the Uoria Mates stories and will come back to the rest later.
The UM is a good, light read that got better as it went along. The warriors were surprisingly emo and the human women were feisty. The enemy was ruthless in their pursuit of achieving their goals. Each story features a different couple, five in all, under a continuing storyline. Since the bundle is laid out consecutively, books 1-10, it is easy to follow. It was well worth the 99 pennies. -
These are not very good. Did I read or skim them all? Yes.
They aren't bad. Everything is just super thin-plot, world building, romance, character development.
It is like knock off brand candy. There is pleasure there but lots of flavor is missing.
However, if you read a lot and like Alien Romance, you may find yourself eating this.
If you only get candy once in a while then no.
This series is on Kindle Unlimited so it made my choice of reading them acceptable.
The writer has potential so I hope the depth of her next books improves. -
This entire series is excellent. It follows the lives of both human and Uoria warriors. I love how the writer weaves the storylines between human and Uoria. I enjoyed watching as each warrior faces his "fate" and how each handles it in his own inept way but it does turn out for the good. The breathe taking adventure scenes as each warrior has to undergo a personal quest to either win back his mate or find her is heart stopping and heart aching too.
Follow these warriors and their mates to their own happily ever after with alot of nail biting action thrown in. -
*I received this ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review*
Uoria Mates Complete Series(Books 1-10) by Ruth Anne Scott
This is a wonderful bundle of alien stories. We meet alien royalty, their warriors and their chosen women. Each one of these individual stories has a awesome storyline and you can't help but fall in love with their characters. I loved every single one of these stories for various reasons. Definitely worth the read. Loved them! -
Interesting and disjointed
This was an interesting alien romance series. I liked the insta-love in each story but I was not a fan of the running off anytime they got emotional. The plot was good but the stories were disjointed at times in order to speed up the story. Not a bad read if you like alien romance. -
Decent stories but in dire need of an editor
I ended up skipping over a lot of the pages and I hate doing that. There were so many grammatical and spelling errors that it was hard for me to focus on what was going on. Also, the constant redundancy was more than a little annoying. The bonus box set was even worse although it had the better storyline, in my opinion. -
A unique, and unrivaled adventure
Ruth Anne is a new to me author, so I've never read anything by her and I am sorry for that. She took me to a different world filled with smoking warriors looking for their mates. Each tale unfolded differently for each couple, taking me on yet another rollercoaster ride. -
Absolutely Love this Series Definitely Recommend
I love the characters in this series. The Uoria males are very detailed and especially when they find their mates. The women who came from another Earth planet are strong and fierce when it comes to themselves and their mates.
If you want to find out more purchase this series you won't regret it. -
What a great series!
I loved how all the women came to find their mates and really liked Ty's story. I like that each warrior or baker all had a role to play in the war, even the women. I like the story concept and the authors writing style. Eager to read more from this author!
