Even by Wind Dragon Motorcycle Club standards, Irish was always a bit of a dark horse. Not one to confide his secrets, such as where he got that mysterious scar across his neck, he’s quick with his fists and even quicker to jump to the defense of his MC. But is he nimble enough to handle the woman he never saw coming? Or will she leave him with a matching scar across his heart?
Featuring scorching hot chemistry and plenty of sass, Dirty Ride is sure to rev your engine and get you immediately hooked!
Dirty Ride (Wind Dragons MC, #3.5) Reviews

Short, sweet, and sexy.
If you’re in the mood for those three things then you’re going to enjoy Dirty Ride.
Tina is on the run from an abusive relationship trying to start a new life. Then she meets Ardan AKA Irish, and suddenly, all bets are off. Despite being part of a motorcycle club, Ardan is a full on protective alpha. He’s sweet and like most alphas in this category, he doesn’t take no for an answer. And he quickly dismantled Tina’s reservation.
I actually enjoyed the heroine, Tina. She’s very forthcoming and despite her unfortunate past, she didn’t let it get in the way of enjoying her new life and opening herself up to Ardan. There was no drama between them. Both acted like adults who knows what they want and went after it. Sure, there were issues regarding Tina’s psycho ex but because both characters has established trust between them, these issues were almost negligent in the grand scheme of things.
Which is probably why I didn’t loved this book as much. It was okay. It was sweet and the sexy times were plentiful but not overwhelmingly so. But the conflict overall was a bit weak. There wasn’t really a lot of development between the two main characters too but since this is a novella, I could understand that and could give it a pass. I wish there was more though.
Despite that, the experience reading this book was a positive one, and I highly recommend this book to readers who love their romance sweet and low-angst. -

Tina ran from her abusive ex six months ago and has been hiding ever since. She moves to a new city and tries to start her life over again. There she meets Ardan, a.k.a Irish, and he puts himself in her new life. When they first meet Tina tries to escape his advances, but Ardan makes that impossible and pursues her in a way only a badass biker can, and soon they're in a relationship that she isn't scared of. But when her past comes back to haunt her can Tina and Ardan survive it?
Dirty Ride was a fast, sexy, very fascinating story that I thoroughly enjoyed. Ardan was so sexy, and his first meeting with Tina made me swoon. I loved how possessive he was and wouldn't let Tina run from him when she got scared of their relationship.
I did like Tina, and thought she was a strong person to leave her life behind like she did. There were moment where it got a little annoying when she kept questioning how Ardan felt for her and wondering if he would turn out to be bad too. But past those issues I did like her and it was interesting to see her remaking her life.
I've loved this series from the very beginning. Chantal Fernando is a newer author for me, but once I discovered her books I fell a little bit in love. I can't get enough of the world she creates in all her stories, they're all really believable and entertaining.
Overall, this is a great book that I highly recommend. The chemistry between Tina and Ardan was both intriguing and sexy, and I couldn't get enough. Though I do suggest reading the whole Wind Dragons MC series, this novella could possibly be read as standalone.

This was a nice reading!
"If you think that hoodie hides your beauty, your fuckin' dreaming."
I really enjoyed this book!It was a short sweet and dirty story with great characters and an opportunity to find love once again!
I liked Ardan (Irish) and Tina they were a good couple! They completed the pieces that were missing
in each others life.Ohhh and there were a lot of pieces missing....
Ardan was an alpha male and a badass MC member of the Wind Dragons club who would do anything to protect his old lady! And Tina was a sweet and sassy woman who went through a lot because of her ex!Now she is in a new city and a new life trying to leave everything behind her and moving on in a life with a possessive, sweet, gentle and loving man.
"I'm not going to let anything happen to me,
not now that I have you."
Ohhhh aren't you sweet...?????
Ardan was a sweet gentleman by day and took her on dates to get to know her and a hot biker by night making her all dirty between the sheets...
"Valentina. You should probably stop touching me,
unless you want to cancel tonight, because I'm about to
lift you against the wall and fuck you."
"We better go then. But when we get back,I think our first
time should be on the bed. Then we can try the wall."
"Those words coming out of your beautiful, pouty mouth.
Fuck.We better go before I give you exactly what you want, right now."
I liked that we read about the other members of Wind Dragons from the previous books!
The only thing that bothered me is that I wanted a longer story!
I wanted to see more of them now that they had their HEA!!!That's all!

Valentina finally manages to escape her abusive husband. When she reaches a place she wants to try for a new start, she meets hot, alpha, bad-boy Ardan (aka Irish). She isn’t ready for a new man yet but will she be able to resist his charms? Will the past catch up? I won’t tell more because this is a really short book. A little to short to really connect with the characters. It was definitely a fun read. MC books is one of my favorite genres and I really loved Ardan. I’m not too fond of insta-love so the love declarations went a little too fast for me…
I definitely want to read the previous books in this series! -
3,4 STARS!!!
The Wind Dragons
Valentina is running from her abusive ex. Coming to a new town brings her opportunity to stay hidden and to finally start a new life.
In the bar she meets Ardan (aka Irish).
"He is older than I am, definitely. Maybe by five or so years. A strong jaw. Sensual lips I want to suck on. A straight nose. The darkest of eyes. Knowing eyes. And a head of thick, short dark hair. Then there's the scar."
I love reading Chantal Fernando's MC romance, but this one didn't work for me. I think the book was "too small" for this amount of actions it was given.
It would be great if she added 80 more pages. The whole book would be better,
more enjoyable, -
Dirty Ride is a novella in the Wind Dragons MC Series. It is Irish story and this cover holy hot cakes! I would have liked a full length book for Irish's book and I'm gonna to be honest it would have been better then this. Although I liked the story and loved Valentina this felt rushed to me. Not much dept either. Because I've been reading this series one after another and absolutely loving the series I was just a little disappointed.
However if your looking for a short, tasty read this is the book for you. It can be read as a standalone no bother. But I would recommend this series its a great read. -
3,5 Stars.
I've said it before, but it never ceases to be true. I love authors who get better with time and Chantal Fernando is one of them. Dirty Ride is an entertaining story with ties to a favorite series of mine, Wild Dragons and even though this is a novella -hence the 0.5 in the title- it was every bit the wild and fun ride i expected.
This title is shorter than i would have wanted but still enjoyable mostly because Tina and Irish are a great match and both open to new challenges. Tina after a long and abusive relationship decides to leave behind family, friends, job and restart her life in a new place where nobody knows her and she is relatively safe from her ex-boyfriend.
Irish will spot her in a bar one night and after that their shared fate is sealed. But enemies are still out to get them and sometimes no matter how far you run from your nightmares they have a wicked way to find you. Only this time things will be different for Tina because Irish or Ardan if you prefer it, is by her side for good.
I had a good time with this sweet and sexy Irish romance and i can't wait to read the next book in the series, Rake's Redemption. Ugh, June is so far away!
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK
- Tina looks like Merida, that's so cute.
- Tina is very open with her sexuality. Awesome girl, no extra drama from her side.
- I loved the ending!

This is short read at only 104 pages it features Irish who's been in the background until now, he gets mentioned a lot but we don't really know anything about him.
I really liked both Irish and Tina from the get go and I enjoyed their book, it made a nice change that any issues they had didn't come from other women/club whores.
I always seem to be finding fault with something but this book should have been longer, with Tina's backstory and the mystery that is still Irish there would have been enough for more.
These two were great, open and honest and I clicked with them both straight away I felt the issue with Darren however was rushed I mean would he really go to all the effort of transferring only to uproot and go back a couple of weeks later. Plus the warehouse scene I know they're apparently dirty cops but would they really all be there for him when he's new and high, I know apparently dirty can sniff out dirty but he's only been there a few weeks would all the dirty cops be so easy for him to recognise? Is there a club? -

There is no ifs, ands, or buts about it, I am totally addicted to The Wind Dragons MC Series by Chantal Fernando. And how could I not be, when Ms. Fernando continues to douse her readers with hot, sexy, domineering, protective alpha heroes, who will go out of their way to protect the women they love. And in Dirty Ride, Ms. Fernando has once again written a sexy and endearing MC romance that will have you screaming for Irish.
“This kiss is unlike any I’ve ever experienced. It’s more than just possessive; it’s hungry. I can actually feel the want radiating from him. The need. I can taste it in his kiss, in the way he holds me.”
Though Dirty Ride is a quick and fast paced novella, I loved every minute of the dirty and sexy ride that Ms. Fernando took her readers on. I will just say that this novella was more on the sweet and loving side since this story focused on two strangers who instantly connected and bonded. I loved that Ms. Fernando was able to showcase a hero like Ardan, who personified bad boy but also as hero who had a heart of gold.
“My past can’t haunt me with Ardan here, because he is bigger and scarier than everything else. He hasn’t shown me that side, but I know it , I feel it. He isn’t one to be messed with. But to me— he is kinder and more thoughtful than any other man I’ve been around or know .”
The chemistry between Valentina and Ardan were sizzling and palpable right off from the start. I loved that Ardan made it his mission to claim Valentina right away because he knew without a doubt this sexy red head belonged to him. And for Valentina, she finally found a man who made her feel loved and treasured. Valentina may not need a pot of gold when she had the luck of an Irish. Well in her case, she had her very own Irish in Ardan. So if you are looking for a hot, sexy, and sweet second chance romance read with crisp writing then I highly recommend you to read Dirty Ride.

Chantal Fernando -
I have to admit I was a little disappointed in this story. I really was expecting a full length novel not realizing that this was a novella. I had previously read Tracker's End and really enjoyed that story so I was looking forward to more about Wind Dragon Motorcycle Club.
I really wish this book was more developed think it would have come across much more to my liking. There is so much more depth of characters and so many places that the author could have taken the story. Don't get me wrong. I really, really love Irish (Ardan) and Valentina together. They were so sweet.
You don't really get much about the club itself as this is mainly a story about these two and it is a wonderful story - sweet and and definitely enjoyable. Ardan is a strong, alpha male that knows what he wants. I think he overwhelmed Valentina in many ways to get what he wanted but they worked well together.
The author is a talented author that knows how to create beautiful stories that suck us in. This was a really great read as a novella to the series! I just wished it was longer. -
I have just two words to describe this book...
I'm a big fan of this author and this series but this book (that's actually a novella) felt too rushed and I got a feeling that she wrote it just to get something out there and not disappoint the fans...but it had (for me at least) the exact opposite effect...
I would have preferred to wait longer for a book then get something I'm really not happy with...luckily it was an arc and I didn't have to pay for it...cause then I would have really been pissed for throwing money away...
Hopefully the next novel in this series will be better cause I'm not giving up on the Wind Dragons MC series or on Chantal Fernando...I love them all to much to do that...
So I can't wait for Rake's story...June 28 can't come soon enough...

Review to come... -
I had forgotten how much I loved reading the first books in this series. This one was just as amazing as the others.
I can't wait for read the rest of the series! -
"A bad boy with a good heart."
I'm addicted to the Wind Dragon MC series. This little dose of 'the good stuff' was just what I needed to take the edge off while I wait for the next book. I've been waiting to see what kind of woman it would take to convince Irish to give up his 'free' lifestyle. The verdict is, I approve. Since the author chose not to disclose her name, I'll respect that and keep the mystery alive for you.
I can tell you that she who shall remain unnamed, is full of sass and determination. She makes him work for it, but not for long. Who could resist his sexy Irish accent and his caveman ways. Not me, that's for damn sure. He doesn't know she's running from her past… until it catches up with her. Her determination that, "My past shouldn't have control over my future", is a good one. But, good luck with that. Until that 'situation' is resolved, it sure seems to be the boss, keeping her from the future that she's dreaming of.
Irish has never chased after a woman, he's never needed to. They come to him. But not her. She makes him rethink what he wants and what he's willing to do to get it. She drives him crazy, in bed and out. There's no controlling her…but does he really want to? He knows going in that she's gonna be more than a handful. He's okay with that, deciding that it's more important to, "Keep our fights clean and our sex dirty."
I loved her character from the beginning and was very excited as I waited for her to cross paths with the members of the Wind Dragon family. I knew she would fit right in, and be able to hold her own with the badass bikers and their strong women. But, how would they feel about the trouble that she brought to them? I'm not telling, you need to enjoy the ride for yourself, it's a good one. -

Hero (Arden/Irish): 4/5
Plot: 3/5
Grovel: none
Cheating: none
HEA: yes
Triggers: domestic abuse by ex (not described in explicit detail)
Average score: 3.5/5
Best Line: h to H: ““Right, let the random stranger in a biker gang take me home,” I scoff, raising my eyebrow. “I think I’ll pass on that.””
Finally, some common sense (but it didn’t last very long)!
h’s thoughts about ex: “He is weak, not I.” and “Because only I own me.”
h’s thoughts: “I don’t think anyone can have too many books.”
Worst Line: h’s thoughts about her abusive ex: “I’ve tried to leave a few times, but each time, he brought me back here. I don’t know what to do.”
You really don’t know what to do? You are a grown-ass woman not a dog that can be ‘brought back’ when you get away!!
Personal Review:
A short but sweet and sexy MC romance between a woman, who was previously in a long term relationship with an abusive ex, and a hot, protective, swoon-worthy biker.
The ending made me laugh and I was pleased that the H did it.
Random Ramblings:
•Loved H’s reaction to the peanut allergy!
•Some people might think H’s ‘I love you’ was unromantic but I thought it was the most romantic way to say it!
Overall Feeling:
“A bad boy with a good heart.”
Who can ask for more? -
this was a quick read which i enjoyed quite a lot. i wish it was a full length book within the series. like others, i thought the story was definitely there and had it of been fleshed out a bit more, i would have 5 starred it easily. i liked both the heroine and hero and it was nice seeing our previous couples within scenes. this was a fun little addition to the series.
-
I would've liked this more if it was a whole book. But, alas! It's too short for me that I felt the story was a bit rushed.
-
Short, sexy and fun!!! I just wish there was more!!!

5^^^^^ Badass stars for this MC Novella
Loved it, adored it, consumed by this story!! And yes Wind Dragons MC are finally back unfortunately not with a full length but as a novella...and guess what??? It was as good as a 500 pages because had almost everything from a badass alpha biker with sexy accent to a heroine who has the courage to stand up herself and leave her abusive ex-boyfriend...yeah very juicy!!
Well that is our story.. Valentina is the heroine and as i said six months ago she escaped from her lunatic-abusive ex hiding on her own hoping he will leave her alone..then she meets Ardan aka Irish ("the sexy accent") who is very persistent to go on a date with her and its very understanding that she doesn't want another boy in her life even if he is as sexy as he is..!!! But she doesn't know how persuasive can be when he wants something..
Their story evolved very fast and shows as how a gentleman like Ardan can bring down the wall in her heart and bring back to life, making her understand that they aren't all so bad like her ex. As for Ardan, Valentina quickly wins his heart and how can she be??? she is so sweet..Both characters are exquisite are you fall for them from the first page.
Hot scenes, sweet, intense moments, the suspense that the author creates about the ex and when he'll show himself, the characters and even the appearance which i really loved from the characters in the previous books of the series compose this fantastic story.
I'm really looking forward to see what and who will appear next in the story!!!! -
3.5 Stars
Sweet little love story.
Well, I didn't think this author had it in her to right a guy who deserved a love story and a wonderful woman - you know, one who doesn't cheat, and/or one who doesn't prodigiously man whore around with other women while h is in the picture patiently waiting for him whilst being witness to his whoring, yeah nice (Arrow, Tracker, Ryan I'm looking at you jumbo sized man ho's!)
This story however had a great H in Irish, he's the real deal, he saw that his h needed tender and sweet because he sensed she was not treated with care in her past and that's what he gave her to win her. And Valentina, just a lovely lady all-round.
This was a fun little read but it was just too too short, I wish we had more time with the characters to connect with them more and see more of their love story. -
17/1/16 Why only short story? Irish needs a full story like others for sure!
26/2/16 It was good like other Chantal Fernando's books but that was supposed to be an epilogue?!
Too short! I wanted more details about their lives! -
Totally grabbed this book on my audible package because,
1) it was a super quick audio (maybe 2 hours long?)
2) it was a quick book for a challenge (or two) that I needed to complete
Therefore, I didn't hesitate at all when diving into this bad boy. In Dirty Ride you will meet Tina and Irish. I feel like I might've missed something important since this is a 3.5 book in a series.. but I have zero regrets about the whole thing.
Now Tina is dealing with a crazy psycho ex. She's constantly on the run from him.. but it doesn't help that he's a cop. Now this is kind of reminds me of a Nicholas Sparks book.. but I went with it. Then there's Irish, who is a motorcycle gang.. and kind of feels like he needs to protect the shit out of Tina. Definitely insta-alpha, insta-lust, and insta-love going on. I liked it but it wasn't my absolute favorite book.
Overall, the drama was okay. The smut was better. If I had to choose my favorite character.. uhh… I'd pick the crazy ex because Irish and Tina were just kind of meh to me. I'm not a huge fan of insta-anything.. so yeah. -
This is a quick read in the Wind Dragons MC Series.
Tina’s running from an abusive husband. Ardan, Irish, is swoon worthy. He’s so protective and loyal.
These two characters are great together. Disappointed it was so short as I’d love to have read more about these two.
Looking forward to reading more from this author. -
3 1/2 stars. So I will admit that the second I saw this book I wanted it for the simple fact that Chantal Fernando wrote it. I didn't know what it was about, had no clue it was a novella and didn't even know it was from the Wild Dragons series(which I love by the way). I requested this book from NetGallery and the second I got the approval I stopped what I was reading(which says something all on it's own) and picked this book up. From the beginning I was hooked in this book, and till the end I didn't wan to put it down.
After a bad relationship that ended with a bad breakup Tina needs a new start for more reasons than one. Ending up in this little town, Tina isn't sure how long she'll be able to stay. At a bar one night Tina catches the eye of Irish who has no problem doing what he has to to get her attention and her. Not wanting another relationship Tina goes about her new life till she runs right into Irish again and this time Irish isn't taking no for an answer. Even though Tina isn't sure it is a good idea she finds herself taking a chance on her new life and her and Irish's new relationship. Just as everything finally seems to be falling into place Tina's past comes back to take it all away.
Now I will say I wish this book was longer I loved Irish, and Tina. Of course anyone would love Irish there really wasn't anything to not love. And Tina is so easy to like as well. I would have liked for more time with Tina and Irish, I would have liked seeing them fall in love more, I also would have liked to have seen their relationship develop more. Now after saying that I think I was thrown off because I didn't pay attention and see this was a novella. I was actually reading and stopped for a second and though is this a novella because it was developing like one(speed wise) and sure enough when I looked at the location I finally realized that it was in fact a novella. I think if I had known this from he beginning I would have taken and read this like any other great novella.
As I said before I loved Irish, and I would have loved even more of him. I would have loved to have learned more about him and his life because he was so interesting. We get more back story on Tina but again she was so interesting I wanted more(which in a way is good). We also get to see characters from previous books which is always nice. Like all the other books in this series I didn't want it to end, and was left excited about the next book in this series.
*thank you NetGallery and Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books for this ARC. -
3.5 stars!
I'm harsher on novellas. I can't imagine how hard it is to write what you want to be a complete story into just a little over 100 pages. However, if I feel like the story isn't fulfilling, even if I did enjoy it, I'm rating less than I probably would if it was a full length OR if the story felt complete. Most often than not, I feel like novellas are incomplete stories. Maybe I should I stop reading them... nah!
This one is no different. I really liked Tina & Irish; liked the plot, even if it was one that has been done more than once in the MC book world. I just wanted more; I wanted a more fulfilling story. I hope to see more Tina & Irish in subsequent books!

I thought this was a really good story. It made for an enjoyable read. It was fun and sexy, a light, fast paced story.
I found Irish entertaining, he was an interesting character. I thought Irish and Tina were great, I never totally felt their connection, but I definitely liked them together. There were some exciting, hot times mixed in which added a nice bit of heat. On occasion I thought a few parts were a bit cheesy but they had me laughing. There was some light drama but nothing major.
Here’s the deal: I enjoyed the story. Nothing that blew me away but I liked it. It made me smile and I thought it was a good addition to the series. It made for a nice afternoon read. However a lot of times I felt I was being told, not shown. I found it very surface and was disappointed that I didn’t learn anything major about Irish. I've read the other books in the series so I was really excited to get to know more about him. He's super sweet and I like him, but that was about it. I did like Tina and the strength she gained. I always like to see a character grow.
This story made for a fun couple of hours. If you like the Wind Dragons MC series, give it a go! It will definitely leave a smile on your face. :-)

Review in Portuguese and English
I follow the series and had a lot of curiosity about Irish. I found the story very good and with great scenes between the heroes.
Irish look Tina and instantly know that she is the woman for him. Tina is reluctant because she just got out of an abusive relationship. The ex-boyfriend reappears and ends up triggering a series of events filled with action and suspense. As usual the author presents us with an interesting story and well written that leaves us wanting more. I highly recommend reading!

Finally got to see Irish (Arden) as the spotlight. I've found Irish to be interesting since the first time he appeared in the first book. He's fascinating and this novella finally gave him the stage. I loved how he didn't play games. He went after what he wanted and let her know she was the only one of interest.
Valentina is spunky, sassy, smart and a damn good hair dresser. She finally gets herself together enough to leave her abusive ex-boyfriend who also happens to be a cop. She wasn't looking for anything but a job but ends up getting a job and a biker club boyfriend. She doesn't want anything to do with Irish at first but he wears her down with his persistence and his alpha maleness.
The two have work well together and don't have ridiculous drama because Irish doesn't play games and is faithful. Valentina is also pretty easy to please and doesn't argue much. They easily care for one another an fall in love with Irish telling her his feelings first without needing anything in reply. I found I really enjoyed seeing Irish cater to someone and being sensitive and sweet. I really liked Valentina and hope to see more of her in future books. I'm ready for Rake's book. -
Quick MC read
Fleeing from an abusive partner, Tina arrives in a new town, looking for work and a place to stay.
Arden is part of an MC and for him it's insta love. Tina with fiery red hair and matching personality brings out his possessive side and from that moment on his plan is to make her his.
It's a steady paced read with likeable characters told in Tinas pov, there's a few lol moments when Tina and Arden banter with each other and you get those feel good moments romantics like when you realise two people who are meant to be together have finally found each other.
A hot read with a bit of danger in the mix as Tina tries to stay hidden from her ex but nothing heavy and finishing with a hea leaving you wanting more.
A good balance of hotness, danger, alfa male love and romance.
Would definitely read more from the series. -
YAWN
Story of Valentina (Tina) and Ardan (Irish)
Perfect example of why not everyone can write a novella.
This just felt like an idea for a novel but not enough time was put in to develop plot or characters so we're left with a long rambling short story that never was.
The h was abused by her ex (a cop) and moves to a new town where she hooks up with a bad boy biker with a heart of gold who unwittingly sings Justin Bieber songs.
I think I'm officially over this series. Frankly, I may be over this author.
The writing seems to be getting less fleshed each time I read a new one. More time on plotting the novel and 20k-30k more words a book would be a good start.
2 stars cuz no OW.
