Women of Light Reviews

Women of Light by Jack R Christianson is a showstopper. I cannot recommend this book enough!
‘The sanctity of womanhood is one of the crowning components of the Lord’s plan for His children. As such, women are under constant attack from the adversary. In those moments that you feel your own light dimming, it’s more important than ever to hold tightly to a recognition of your boundless divinity.
In Women of Light, beloved speaker and author Jack Christianson shares moving stories and quotes, accompanied by stirring imagery from well-known Latter-day Saint women artists, that highlight and honor the special roles of women.
By more fully accepting the Lord’s light into your own life, you will bolster your ability to harness that light to illuminate the path for yourself and those around you.’
This book is not only a feast for the eyes and mind…it is a feast for the soul.
I loved the easy way it read, the impactful reminders of why women are divine and needed, the role we as women need to protect and sanctify as well as the layout of beautiful quotes and the most amazing artwork I have ever seen.
My heart is so full after reading this book🥹🫶🏼
Mother’s Day shopping is made easy with this book, my friends! This is a new favorite for me and one I will be gifting to my daughter to keep on her shelf to have for always, and other women who have made a huge impact in my life. (Thank you for your examples of shining light☀️)
Thank you @covenantcommunications for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own. -
I enjoy the audiobooks by Jack R. Christianson. They are like a fireside where he explores topics of doctrine with an audience. This presentation explains that the best creation of God is women and they are partners with Christ in salvation.

I was given this booklet at church on Mother's Day. The author uses the analogy of lighthouses to teach us that women can be a light to the world to bring souls to Christ. It was very nice and a perfect gift for the women in our ward today.

I think I would have enjoyed this more had I read it. He said some things that I found very poignant about women. I would sure like to find a copy to read so that I can discover some things that I didn't "hear."

Couldn't get past the first few lines...
I'm sure it's good once you get into it... but Jack R. Christianson came off a little too pretentious for me.
