Having located a mutilated corpse of a young man in a dumpster, I realize how serious the demon problem is. ADRIEL....is kinda my newest obsession at this moment in time. I love me a dangerous Alpha male. Can’t help it!! And I love not knowing what he is capable of. (It’s like, he’s already a real bad boy so you can leave your morals at the door and except him for what he is? NOT HUMAN therefore you really can’t judge him by human standards can you? Well, you can try but he’s not gonna give a damn)
Brian finds himself in a bit of spot here. He reminds me of a teenage boy wanting to claim his ground but he is so in over his head here it’s not even funny. He doesn’t even begin to understand what exactly he is dealing with regarding Raphael and now he’s trying to stand his ground against Adriel, and needless to say, gets put in his place quite firmly.
Okay Raphael might have not told him exactly what he was dealing with either but then again, if your new you should maybe hold back on the “cocky” a little? Maybe? I don’t know. What I do know is that its hella entertaining!
I love this journey that Brian is embarking on. Finding not only himself but the world and the people in his new life. People forcing him to own up to his deepest, darkest desires. I like. I really like. -

I am still enjoying this series although I did keep wishing it was longer because now it felt like I am reading the story by episode through each book. The sex scenes are still as steamy and this round we even have tentacles coming into play and lovely orgasm denial session that drove the sexual tension sky high.
I am still frustrated with the MC for his naivety. I really hope he could wise up in the next book. I just didn't like him being such a pushover when he is supposed to be an all-powerful being. Another wishlist I have is for these three fine male specimens to turn their relationship to into a menage romance and for them to form an unbreakable bond with each other.
The book is fun and all, but I did feel that the inner dialogues are a little too much. Okay, that's all for now. I am off to the next book in this series.

More proof that Nicholas Bella is an AWESOME M/M Paranormal writer!! I have been following this series from the beginning and it just keeps getting better and better. I don't know where Nicholas gets his ideas but I pray it never ends. I'm soooooo in love with his writing.
Brian has gone under cover to fund the demons responsible for some human sacrifices. That's how he gets his self and Raphael in trouble with King Adriel and the punishment is swift and depending on how you look at it severe.
The sex in this is HOT HOT HOT and definitely not for those of a sensitive nature or under 18. Thank you Nicholas for giving me the honor of reading such an amazing panty melting series, please keep them coming. Independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock. -
Oh my god! Hot, hotter, Nicholas Bella! I really start every new book by Nicholas Bella without having any expectations, because he oudoes them with every single word. Every time!! Just like in "Mischief". I really couldn't put it down till I finished it to the last sentence and then I needed a long and ice cold shower. Adriel watching Brian and Raphael, and Brian finally... no, nope, I won't say anything. You have to read it yourself.
I love this series just as much as Nicholas' other series. Those mixture of sexy demons and the thrilling atmosphere around, awesome. Jusr awesome. Can't wait to read on!! -

Hot demonic sex
Everything in this book happens in 24 hours timeline. Brian got something for his investigation, but at what cost?
Adriel makes good on his promise/threat which results in very hot kinky sex scene and sexual torture which lasts for more than 30% of the book. I'm jealous of Adriel who has both Brian and Raphael at his beck and call. Though, he didn't join in the action much, but he is there watching and bossing. It's nice to see Adriel tames Brian into accepting his bi-ness/gayness and to accept that he enjoys sex with men. Adriel's punishment might not be painful, but it's really intense sexual torture. It's nice to see Brian and Raphael talk more and get better acquainted after an intense experience Adriel forced them through.
Maybe it's just a coincidence that this morning I came across an eye-opening list on goodreads about . I was just joking with my other half that I don't think I will read anything similar to that list anytime soon. Then, I found it right in this book in the afternoon. LOL -

Slowly but surely getting better. I liked Adriel, asshole that he appeared to be, if only because he made Brian 'fess up to his attraction to other other guys and the sex he's had with them. Thank fuck.
Also, tentacles. More scenes like that would be greatly appreciated. Please. Oh, yes, please. (Although, hours of edging sounds like torture, so...yeah, no I'm good with more of that, too. Nevermind.) -

Impossible to put down
Our main character gets one surprise after another as he tries to acclimate to his new life and continue protecting the innocent. He also attracts a demon king’s attention in the process. -
Okay. Why is Agent Smith such a condescending bitch? I really dont like the "society" I feelnlike they are just using Brian.
Still not sure how much I actually like Brian myself.

Another fun read in the demon gate series. I love Nicholas Bella's writing style. This is short fast paced novella in the continuing chronogical series. Very erotic but less taboo than other series by this author.

Ok, admittedly there is more plot than in the typical porn movie, but do you really need plot when reading erotica? This series is proving to be not to my taste. Next!

Another epic book in this fantastic series. Nicholas Bella's creativity and imagination is out of this world. Literally. His originality is spectacular. His characters are brilliant and sexy as hell.
Adriel is not impressed with Brian's disrespect. Brian disobeyed Adriel. He told Brian he could only have an orgasm with permission. He didn't have it. Brian tried to explain but Adriel wouldn't have any of it. Adriel is unhappy that Brian isn't understanding his demon world. Raphael is at fault here. Raphael has not taught him enough. He's not told him everything either. Brian's not sure what he's doing. Adriel plans on punishing them both.
We have a new character in this story. He's a Takata demon. His name is Daylen. His powers are different types of torment or pleasures. He will be showing Brian and Raphael a thing or two. Brian asked the Takata demon what he was going to do to them. Daylen said," Give you the greatest ecstasy you could ever feel and deny you the release you'll beg for." If that doesn't make you want to drool, I don't know what will.
All Adriel wants is for Brian to accept who he is and what he has become. He wants Brian to accept Raphael. Raphael is his mate and he needs to give him pleasures too. He needs to return the favor.
If you want to know what Daylen did to Brian and Raphael, you must read this amazing story. This book is intense, sexy and full of emotions.
This book as is with the whole series is very addictive. Nicholas sucks you in and he won't let you go. All you want is the next book like yesterday. His writing is phenomenal.
The next book in this series is " Hijinks." Can't wait for it to come out. Thank you Nicholas Bella for this awesome and amazing series. You are one of the best. -

I've said it before but what a talented and unquie author Nicholas Bella is. I've had the pleasure of reading everyone of his books. They have been easy and deserving of my rating as well as my reviews. His books are solid and focused. Nicholas writes what he wants, and its dark, edgy and completely out of the norm.
Mischief is book three and a great addition to the Demon Gate Series. Brian reminds me of someone that was just as stubborn. (smiles) He is having a hard time embracing his new life as a demon, Brian is determined to do right by the innocent, even if that means rubbing elbows with the evil. I saw Brian wanting his cake and eating it to, oh but the Demon King as all kinds of things to introduce him to. For Brian its time to "suck it up" (snickers)
King Adriel just three words Oh My Dayum. Can I be Brian for like 48 hours? Laughs, nothing says confident as a powerful demon king that wants you. Sexy, confident and powerful and has eyes set on Brian, the deal was Brian be his sub, and Adriel will help him out on his all to goody good quest.
Brian will be forced to learn on the move as he balances his mate, his now Master, his human job and his job for the Society. Oh lets not forget his need to learn about his own powers and how to go about in the demon world.
Oh.. the intrigue... oh the hot hot scenes, that one demon, had me sweating and wanting to beg for both of them. Intrigued now? good. Grab it read it and enjoy it, Start from book 1 though.

Another riveting episode added to The Demon Gate Series by Nicholas Bella. Damn, these books are like crack. I'm already feeling twitchy to start reading the next one. Oh, and of course there were tentacles in this book. I find them incredibly disturbing normally and honestly this book has not convinced me otherwise.
I'm extremely relieved that Brian FINALLY manned the fuck up and accepted who he was and what he liked. I was beginning to worry that eye rolling was in my future and that gives me headaches, which is no Bueno. I'm also sitting here wondering if I should read the next book or actually try and sleep. Also, if tentacles is a big part of this genre that I'm going to come across frequently or if it's just some weird dude thing. I'll ask the husband later if he ever fantasizes about gropy tentacles. I look forward to that conversation! -
I'm always excited for a new book by Nicholas Bella who has become one of my favorite authors. I had wondered if Adriel coming into the picture would mean Brian would be more accepting of his new life which it seems the King has aided with that. Brian is a good guy and has some trouble coming to grips with the face that some innocent people will have to die in order to save the rest. I like seeing Brian accepting who/what he is and give in to his desires. Can't wait for the next!
