    Believe or not, this is the first book I ever read as a child. It was hilarious. I followed it with Steve Martin's Cruel Shoes.

    Gregory hits the bullseye with his earthy take on the Christian Bible. He uses a light touch of humor that drives each of the points home. For those who have made a study of the Bible or beginners, this would appeal to both. Smith is a great narrator. His voice inflections are spot on (I listened to this on Audible).
