In The Days of Noah, Book Three: Perdition, the end times fall on America like a shadow of darkness and the last days bring an onslaught of sword, famine and plague. Biblical prophecies are fulfilled when a world leader arises to pull the nations back from the brink of disaster and usher in a new age of peace, but at what cost? In the aftermath of the collapse, America is left to flounder while the rest of the world is rebuilt under the rule of the Global Republic. Noah Parker and his family refuse to take the pledge to the world order and are thereby excluded from the one-world economy which functions using a cashless electronic currency. When the Global Republic finally arrives to begin rebuilding the former United States, Noah and the true Christian community are labeled as terrorist, hunted down like animals and forced to choose between fight or flight.

Perdition (The Days of Noah, #3) Reviews

  • Preacher

Um, well it was a great book. Picked up exactly where 2nd book stopped and was full of action etc. The only thing I didn't care for was the ending seemed rushed. The author could have easily made at least one or 2 more books in the series, like does the characters manage to take the fight to the enemy or no? Instead they jusy get raptured rather suddenly. Would have enjoyed more books in the series to see how it played out before they were raptured! I do hope the author writes the series he talks about in the afterward of the last book though because its a story we all want to know.

Final book in a trilogy, but there's a sequel.

During this third book of the Days of Noah trilogy, we continue to see the demise of the U.S. and the rise of a one-world government. The U.S. is weakened by disease, and the U.N. turned global republic takes over.

Still we follow two groups. Noah and his in eastern TN, as they cope with having to find food, arms, fuel, and a safe haven. The second group is in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where they meet an older gentleman, named Elijah, who is very resourceful.

Those who like suspense, survival-type, end time fiction would like these book. I enjoyed them as well, despite some grammar issues at times. Goodwin educates as well, during these books on how to possibly survive an apocalypse of sorts.

I really enjoyed this box set. Book three ended nicely. It left little questions and I really liked that.
I prefer to have my books all wrapped up neatly. Unlike real life.
In anyway. The survivors that got taken in the rapture part was really well written.

Orthodox in vision this series raised really a lot of interesting questions and added a lot of facts that I want to follow up on still.

The narrator of this box set was really exceptionally well picked. He added a layer to the story. Made it maybe even more accessible. That is really a good thing.

Listened to the series on Audible.

I can recommend it to all Christians who like end-time books.
A lot of information to follow up on. I love that.

Absolutely awesome conclusion to the Days of Noah series!

This series has been one of the best EOTWAWKI/SHTF novels/series' I've read yet. Goodwin's knowledge and understanding of the current geo-political environment is spot on. The Christian twist on the genre is very well done including the relation between prophecy and current events. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, this series is of the highest quality. There are only a hand full of authors who approach the genre with such a well-rounded and intelligent grasp on the true reality of both what is going on today, what is being planned for humanity, and how it may turn out.

I see Mark Goodwin as a very welcome competitor in the genre, and I'm glad he is because the more people we reach, the better our chances are for fighting back.

This series is an excellent study into the psyche of the American dream. I very much appreciated the effort the author made to put his story in a religious context.

Though one or two reviewers have commented they found the religious aspects a challenge, perhaps it is more fundamental level of challenge they are facing the mere story they are reading a story in a novel?

Excellent read and hope the next trilogy follows.

Great book, I hope the series continues

I enjoyed the book. While it isn't as polished as some other series it is still enjoyable to read. The writer includes ideas about cutting edge technology and shares theories about how they can be used in fulfillment of prophetic statements in the Bible.

  • Brad Gonzales

    Thought provoking,

The life of a modern day Noah and his family, their trials and tribulations and the importance of family and the fellowship of a like minded circle of friends.
Start from the beginning, the scenarios seem to come from the news of today and the recent past and are projecting a future to prepare your physical and spiritual life.

  • Cindy

Excellent series! well thought out and not just a copy of everyone else.

  • Kevin Frazer

Please please please Mark Goodwin write "The Days of Elijah!"

    Great conclusion to the series

Well, that thing I was looking forward to happening in this book in the previous book’s review? That didn’t happen, and I’m kicking myself for it because that’s just probably something I should’ve saw coming.

In any case, the stakes are pretty high in this one as the building blocks are formed for the chaos to come. I am so glad that fans, of which I was not one at the time, reached out when this trilogy ended to implore Goodwin to develop a sequel saga.

I think my favorite moments in this book is the light yet serious banter at times between Everett, Ken and Lisa. The actions that Everett took resulted in this ending, showing just how awesome character driven stories can be when done right. Goodwin already has the best plotting tool available for his books, the Bible. He just needed to make true to life characters, and he does just that.

Over all I enjoyed this book. I am not a religious person and would probably be frowned upon for my personal beliefs amongst this group in real life.
The story was an interesting concept about the NWO and if you could wade through all of the bible versing it was well thought out. The only real problem I had was at the end when all of Jesus' devout believers up and disappeared. That's right just poof, gone like a flash of light. I was disappointed because it left you wondering what happened to the story line they where building up to. It made me feel like the author got bored of writing the story and gave up with Devine intervention.
I would have given the book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ like I did with the other two in the series but the ending soured me a little.

This is the last book in this series. Not sure I like it as much as the first. It did end with the Rapture and Repentance which is what I hoped for. It also left me interested in the Days of Elijah series. I think this is mainly because I liked the Everett portion of the book better than Noah. Noah and the militia got on my nerves after a while, but I was determined to finish the series. Also, I felt like this book left me feeling a little bothered by some of the rhetoric about gangs and city folks with low hanging pants coming to the more rural areas. The assumption was made that they would come to loot and steal, versus looking for help. Oh well . . . This ending left lots to be desired.

This is the third and final installment of The Days of Noah series. Although I enjoyed this series, I have to admit that the ending was very disappointing. To be fair, I did see the ending coming and it does align with the story line. I believe that the story could have ended in much more meaningful way, however, that is just my personal opinion.

Overall this is a good series and well worth the read.

    Excellent Christian book

I will not give away to much about this series. I could be ripped from today's headlines
I recommend this series as predictable series of possible events. A Christian book series. I liked it a lot. I read books 1,2 and 3 stopping only to eat and sleep as I am in a two week quarantine. Looking forward for book 4. God Bless America

What a pile of homophobic, misogynistic, racist, gun-nut, fake patriot, radical-conservative crap! The only thing going for this book is I had a good laugh as the terrible dialog. The ending.....LOL...and they all lived happily ever after. I only listened to all three because they were a continuous listen on Audible and I wanted to see how bad it would get.

  • Jonathan Z.

An engaging novel (the old man in the woods was quite a twist!), albeit not a theological look into eschatology. There were a few philosophies I disagreed with, but they were not pernicious. The main thrust is believe and salvation in Jesus, so no complaints there!

    Closer than a Headline

The Days of Noah series is a sobering wake-up call for Americans who wonder where their country went; the best of Christian speculative fiction. Not all is speculative or fiction.

  • Shelly A Franks

    Fantastic book but....

I would have given this five stars however, being a Catholic U did not like how the Pope and the Catholic church was depicted. With that said, it does lead me to do some research.

  • Fire

This is a realistic and plausible look at what our country may be facing in the years to come, it is frightening and fascinating at the same time.

This is worth the read and is an interesting interpretation of how the end times could start to play out.

    5 Stars!

  • Michael

This is the 3rd book in the series. It is great as the first two. The story is set after "apocalyptic" event follows survivors under the NEW WORLD ORDER. The story has a surprise ending I totally did not see coming. A fantastic series.

  • Sandy

    Excellent!
