Could be better.
Enjoyed the comics but still looking for something that's lacking. Not sure what's missing but could have been better by ways. -
5 ⭐
This comic book has two one-shots. One of them features the Avengers and one has one featuring Black Panther and Hawkeye.
The first story has the Avengers saying they get confused when they go into Captain America's room because it's set up in the 1940s era. They get called to deal with an attack from AIM and wonder if they should call Cap since it's his day off. Cap is fighting Baltroc and two other villains. He manages to defeat then and gets greeted by Thor. They talk about their difficulties with the future and go to help the other Avengers. AIM brings an Adaptoid which they have problems defeating. Cap manages to defeat the Adaptoid. Back at the manor, he gets a playlist from Wasp.
The other one-shot has Hawkeye and Black Panther not trusting each other. A supervillain comes to fight them and gets annoyed because she wants to fight the other Avengers. They fight her and manage to start trusting each other.
I enjoyed these stories. Always nice to see the Avengers. Glad everyone is starting to get along. Wish they put more of this in the movies. -
Not the best artwork but still a good comic...

Good but cartoonish
Two stories. The first is about a recently revived Captain America trying to adapt to the modern world. The second story is about Hawkeye and Black Panther learning to trust each other to work as teammates.
The stories were fairly basic. A problem is introduced, bad guys show up, good guys win and problem is sorta worked out. Both stories had the feel of a kid's Saturday morning cartoon (yeah, I know I am showing my age). This is not necessarily a bad thing when most comics are so convoluted and dark. Just saying don't expect a lot of complexity here.
The artwork in the first story is also reminiscent of a cartoon. The second story featured artwork that was more detailed and appealed more to me.
The best thing was that I found this as a free download so was a nice treat. -
Interesting enough story in this Avengers strip but Captain America seems to adapt to modern life too quickly. Was said at the beginning how he was awake for a month and had not adapted to modern life. Then one little fight with an Android and he’s modernised. Guess that’s just super hero life but feels too inconsistent so only ⭐️⭐️⭐️
