This book helped me pass all 3 parts of the EA exam on the first try! Would recommend this to anyone who needs to review for the exams instead of one of those expensive courses. Get the practice test book too, it’s great.
However – I would NOT recommend it to someone as a primary source of information. I had taken 2 Federal Taxation courses at the local university a year ago, and many very difficult topics, especially in the business section, were only explained with a couple of sentences. If I had been approaching this information cold, I don’t think I would have been as successful.
