    Brilliant!

This is an awesome, in-depth and comprehensive introduction to Catholicism. I am unfortunately Church of England by birth but I have been questioning Protestantism, practicing Catholicism and praying the Rosary for a year or so now. This book is essential and it really helps solidify your calling and conversion to Catholicism, which is what I definitely intend to do thanks in a large part to this great book. Although the book is 585 pages long it’s a very easy read. Note that the first two books, which are about rules, laws, doctrine and dogma etc are pretty heavy and not as interesting as the remaining three books; initially one is left wondering where comes the good news in Catholicism? But behold it definitely gets there in the three remaining books! Catholicism is so much better that Protestantism. I highly recommend this book!

Now qualified to answer stupid questions about Catholicism. I was reading for research. I wasn't dumb enough to appreciate most of the content.

Really good information. Reading this book is like taking a Catechism class in the Roman Catholic Church. I felt like editing it sometimes, big gaps of teaching were omitted or overlooked.

The history of the Roman Catholic church started me thinking about all the branches of the Catholic church and Christian faith. The Russian and the Greek Orthodox church's split from the Romantic (Roman Catholic Church) peoples (Italian, Spain, and France) Church.

The original Christian church established by Jesus Christ grew through each of the apostles. I was surprised to read some of the original followers of Jesus Christ not directly following St. Peter's Church (The Roman Catholic Church) and still based in the Holy Land (Israel), not Italy.

This book goes into depth in many areas of the Catholic religion- I wish they had a UK version though as some things regarding hierarchy within the church are slightly different.
