This historical, inspirational Western romance much loved series is about empowered women who turn around their hopeless circumstances in this mid-18th-century tale of the old West, with strong faith and discover authentic men and true love.
….“BEST SELLING AUTHOR IN ROMANCE”….Meet Rayne, she ain’t getting any younger, and its slim Pickens for eligible men in her tiny Wisconsin town of Taylor falls. Her sense of adventure and encouragement by very last last family member to go out West and seek to love kicks in!
She travels two weeks by train and three days by bouncy horse stagecoach that leaves her bruised and battered so she can arrive in a newly developing town called Bozeman to marry the local veterinarian that she has never met.
What is it that Wyatt Earp’s brother told Rayne that shakes her trust in her fiancé and their love before it even starts? Why didn’t he tell her? Will she find it in her heart to get over the secret about him that she discovered? Will Mr. Joseph Hunter be all that he seems? Can she find true love and happiness in these Montana Meadows?
Mother Nature can be cruel, will they be able to survive what is coming their way?
So come on down and hang out with the folks at Bozeman including tall, lanky sad-eyed veterinarian Joseph Hunter, handsome public protector from bank robbers and outlaws Mister Marshall Morgan Earp and, of course, blonde-haired, blue-eyed Rayne Stevens.

While this book is part of a romance series, it can definitely be read as a standalone book.

Rayne is outspoken and says what’s on her mind. Men don’t like the way she gets angry and says it like it is. Her Aunt hands her the paper which happens to be the matrimonial times. She tells her to have a look. And Rayne decides to write to a veteran. Her aunt tells her to be patient and open.
Joseph Use to be a doctor, but now his patients are of the four legged kind. He is surprised by the way his new bride doesn’t hold back. He never smile’s and always looks sad. Will she be able to break through to him?
Fantastic story I enjoyed reading this book -
Rayne is a very outspoken woman. She seems to be kind hearted as well. It looks like she was living with her aged aunt who wanted to she her married before she die. Seeing her personality, she answered an ad for a wife. She often wandered why she answered in the first place but she wanted it make the best out of the situation she put herself in. One thing she values the most is honesty. It took her being hurt in a barn for her husband to open up and be completely honest with her.

I absolutely loved this clean, Historical, Western romance. I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 5* rating. I loved this heroine and her gutsy attitude. Even then, she was speaking out for women's rights. Again, it brings up the limitations of what Doctors had to use for their exams. On to the next of this set.

Rayne finds love in Montana, beautiful country.mob

Very short sweet read. Good characters would like to see them in other books placed in this town.

Good Story
This is a good story without much depth. It reads as an unfinished idea. There are a lot of repeating wording done. -
Second book in this series. I rarely give five stars - especially to short stories - but this series is well-written and brings the characters to life in few words. This story brings Rayne to Montana to her new husband, the local veterinarian. He is a man of few words, and she is a woman who loves conversation. Will they fit? Read and see...

Short and sweet
The heroine reminds me of Ma Kettle from the old movies from the 50's. This is a nice short story. -
Finding their true love
Katie Wyatt does a e job on her story. And the way they the woman helps the men in these stories and the understanding of each either -
this was a good read in an hr very easy to follow.
