A message sent across the stars finds a civilization that has long since ceased listening.
Just by existing, the signal and the message it contains upsets a culture which has been stable for thousands of years.
Second entry to the Attenuation series, The Lucky Ones is a revelation of life in the solar system of the distant future, centered on a handful of characters most deeply and immediately impacted by a mysterious interstellar transmission.
Robotics, mankind, and a carefully balanced and highly advanced civilization suddenly forced to find their place in the unceasing struggle to survive.

It's weird. interesting enough to hold your attention, and big.
but there really aren't any heroes or villains.
hoping for battles of good versus evil, or romance and drama, carry on.
this ain't that.
just people, being part of something bigger than themselves.
