After days of his nameless mate being in some sort of coma, Gyyx can’t take it anymore. Eliana gave him the key to make her better, but he didn’t feel right, and after all the testing Ciyrs has put her through, he knows it’s time to test the theory, but he still feels weird about it.
He takes her home and hopes his touch will bring her back to life. He can’t go on without knowing who she is, or what she suffered in the hands of the Klimnu.
But when she wakes up, will Gyyx be able to convince her he isn’t taking advantage of her or like the ones who kept her prisoner?

Nothing really happens at all in this one but I'll round up because I appreciated how Leia immediately accepted things as they were with her being Gyyx's mate. Most of this was Gyyx fighting against himself about doing what he knows he has to do to wake Leia up and then finally doing so. And then the two of them getting to know each other a little...in more ways than one. It worked out well that Leia was completely aware of everything going on around her and heard everything that was said as well. So she knows that she is Gyyx's mate, she knows what kind of person he is, and she already knows there's a connection between them. So she's accepted everything. She has a past that she is ashamed of so the hardest part for her is trying to remember that she doesn't have to treat Gyyx like every other man that's been in her life. He's there to stay and he won't ever mistreat her. We end with these two having dinner with mom and dad and Leia finally feeling like she has found the big family she has always wanted. So yeah, literally nothing happens here.... Oh wait, there was something. They burn down the building where the women were held prisoner and there was a fight with the Klimnu. They also discover a traitor among them. So there's that. -
Fifth book in the alien romance series. This one starts to show us about Leia and her past and the beginning of her relationship with her mate, Gyyx. She is dynamite in a very small package.

Boss Me Dirty -
Gyyx has waited days for his mate to wake, he finally gives into the advise he`s been given and just hopes that she`ll forgive him. What a way to be woken phwoa. Leia has suffered for so long even before she was taken by the Klimnu. Will Gyyx still want her when he knows the truth about her past. I`m loving this series but this book felt a little rushed enjoyable read nonetheless.

This book(part) was my least favourite, although I really liked the story and characters, I found that it was rushed and unrealistic. The further on this story goes the more rushed the story becomes. It was ok but not great!

Too short, even for a serial, for 3 stars. But otherwise, not bad.
-
Quick read. Pretty predictable. Needs some serious editing. Stories felt more telling than showing.

sorry, this was not as good as the others. There just wasn't a lot going on for such a very short book. I hope that the next one will pick back up.

Another great read. I can't wait to learn more about Leia. Looking forward to the next one.
