A Sweet Possibility (Archer Cove Series #2) Reviews

This really was sweet. So sweet that I think I got cavities, and I'm not even complaining. I was under the impression that this is a standalone but it turns out that A Sweet Possibility is actually a second book in a series. Good thing that you can read this book as a standalone, you won't get lost or encounter any problems just because you haven't read the first book yet. Which I will read by the way.

A Sweet Possibility is such a simple yet incredibly swoony worthy experience. I laughed, I cried (both sad and happy tears) and my heart was absolutely touched. Natalie just weaved a story that will surely make us all realize that not all endings (especially relationship-wise) doesn't mean sadness and devastation but it also means, new beginning. And that's what's important.

Jessica just got dumped. And she thought that was all her fault. Honestly ladies, who can not relate to this woman? I get that some readers may get annoyed by Jessica because of her attitude but the truth is, WE are HER. Her insecurities, her dreams, her desire to make something of herself... don't lie that you haven't been through that road. Jessica is such an amazing flawed character. She's quirky, she makes bad choices, kinda dense when it comes to others feeling and most importantly, she's real. Throughout the books she wants nothing but to change herself. And here comes our gorgeous and totally sigh worthy hero, Nate.

Nate is... wow okay, how do I explain Nate? Nate is that guy who makes an amazing impression from the first time you met him. Not because he's a personal trainer so because of that he has a great physique (though that helps) but its because he's down to earth, very easy going and he have his way of making you smile when you're having a conversation with him.

Now I know you're wondering, these two are perfect for each other.. what's the problem? I'll tell you what: A LOT.

I love that Natalie made her characters went to a process. I mean, sure, one of them is already in love with the other but Natalie took her time and didn't rush the both of them. Readers was kept on their toes and every page were devoured because of the anticipation. I really just breezed through because of Nate and Jessica's witty banter. Another thing to be admired about A Sweet Possibility is that its not all about the romance. Jessica's character growth was highlighted and I'm just so happy that I get to witness that.

Are you craving for a fun, sweet and meaningful romance? A Sweet Possibility will satisfy your need.

http://bookbriefs.net**My Thoughts A Sweet Possibility is the second book in the new adult/adult contemporary romance Archer Cove by Natalie Charles. I had no idea that this was the second book in the series at all, and it read a like a complete standalone. This line from the summary totally sold me on the book, "All baker Jessica Mallory wants is a modest thigh gap. And her own chocolate shop." I have no idea why but I love the modest thigh gap and chocolate addict conundrum. It is totally adorable and cute, just like Jessica. I also loved Nate. Pretty hard. So I think it is safe to say that A Sweet Possibility was a really sweet book. Definitely.

Jessica is quirky and funny. Kind of like a smidgen of Bridget Jones mixed in with spunk and something that is uniquely her own. And Nate is just pure adorable-ness. I could not get enough of him. I loved how infatuated he was with Jessica. Those kind of sweet crushes get me every time. Jessica gets dumped and decides to make some changes in her life to get herself together and to open her own chocolate shop. (She does it for all the wrong reasons, but nonetheless the reader knows what is going to happen.)

Nate steps in to help Jessica and watching the two of them together just made me smile. A Sweet Possibility is a bit of a predictable read, but it is predictable in all the ways you want it to be. I can't wait to read the first book in the Archer Cove series, because I am sure that it is just as fell good as this one. My only holdback with this book was something that I only noticed after I had finished reading. I know that might seem a little strange, but I was just loving every page of this story that this point didn't even cross my mind until I was done. Click to see what it was.

Bottom Line: A sweet Possibility is a really sweet friends to more contemporary romance. I would totally check it out, when you ate looking to satisfy your romance sweet tooth.

*I received a free copy from the author for an unbiased review*

The book is as sweet as the name suggests. This is a fun read which made me feel good at the end with it's fluffiness.

It has one of my favourite romance themes, friends-to-lovers as the base of the story and I liked it very much. This is the first book I have read by the author and I loved her style of writing.

The author has spotlighted the good and the bad of the protagonists and this caused me to have a clear cut view of the characters to better understand their feelings and thoughts. I liked and hated Jessie because of the way she is oblivious to Nate's attraction. She is one character whom I was able to relate to easily because who doesn't have insecurities about themselves? Though I feel that it was a bit overdone. Now Nate stole my heart from the starting and I absolutely loved him! The way he goes out of his way for Jessie and even Quinn, the rat made me fall in love with him. I ask you how can anyone resist him? *Sigh*

The way the book is set in a small town adds to the quaint feeling of the story and the story flows without any obstruction from scene to scene. It seems clear to me that Jessie and Nate are destined for each other and this is their story of finding their way to each other.

This is a charming tale of two friends falling in love with each other and it kept me entertained with the various humorous incidents and the emotion filled drama which unfolds flawlessly in the book. This is one light read which satisfied my need for a week night romance book yearning.

My one line review : A light fluffy fun romantic read with humour and a little bit of drama

    My rating : 4/5

    My reread factor : 4/5

Baker Jessica Mallory is just waiting until her boyfriend Quinn Rogerson has is career plan in place before he will propose. Problem is Quinn isn't looking for more than a fun relationship with Jessica. When he breaks up and gives her the reasons why they will never be a match, she comes up with a plan. Revamp herself with the help of their mutual friend Nate Lancaster.

Nate has been in love with Jessica for years. She can't seem to see what is blatantly in front of her, instead consumed by Quinn. When one moment changes everything Nate has some hope that maye this will be the chance he has been looking for, will Jessica finally choose the right man?

Very fun read. Reminded me a bit of Bridget Jones Diary. The story had humor and kind of an ugly duckling makeover which I am always a sucker for. Filled with entertaining characters, loved Jessica she is in her own little world. Highly entertaining.

Goddammit, y'all, I really hate when I don't know how to rate a book. 3 stars for now, I guess. I'm conflicted. Nope, I've already decided this is 2-2.5. This might be a rant.

Finally, I get a book from this author written entirely in the third person. This was crucial as I don't think this would've worked as well if we only had Jessie's POV. Given Nate has secretly been in love with her for ages and she's completely fucking oblivious despite how obvious it is, we wouldn't have gotten all the nuance without Nate's perspective as well.

Nate is pretty beta and pretty adorable. He's not perfect by any means (he does a few things that pissed me off), but overall, I really liked him and wanted to date him. Jessie completely takes him for granted and she's incredibly self-centered for a good portion of this book. (More on her in a minute.) I kept wanting to smack him and say JUST TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL ALREADY (I do frequently think in CAPS LOCK), but she had just broken up with his best friend...and they were friends...I don't know. I don't understand why he never told her before she dated Quinn because they've apparently known each other forever, but that's just one of many plot holes in this book.

I love a good friends-to-lovers story, especially with a dash of unrequited love...but even their friendship was confusing? Like, at first it's set up that they're mainly friends through Quinn, her ex, but it feels like the author changed her mind and wanted them to be good friends independently of Quinn. There's all these references to memories they have together yada yada it made no sense.

I found Jessie completely insufferable for most of this book. I tried to empathize with her. It started out promisingly. She was a harmless secondary character in the previous book, and this one opens with Jessie begrudgingly attending a third cousin's baby shower and getting drunk off mimosas. That's my kind of woman! But she quickly becomes this completely unlikable character. I was getting so annoyed with her that I actually started taking notes on the things about her that bothered me. Some of them were petty (she tries putting water in her cereal?! this made her seem like a total airhead for fuck's sake) and some of them were more indicative of her personality. Case in point:

Jessie has had this idea to open her own chocolate shop for a while, but she sort of lacks ambition. (I commiserate.) Nate, being a good friend, is the first to mention that she could consider taking out a small business loan. She brushes this off entirely. Not much later in the book, a fellow small business owner tells her she's fixed up the local inn through a small business loan. Jessie's response is (copying and pasting this directly from the book!): "Huh." Of course. Why hadn't she thought of that? NATE LITERALLY SAID THIS A FEW CHAPTERS EARLIER. I double checked this myself to make sure I wasn't mistaken.

So, she goes from dropping off chocolates at this inn back to the bakery, announces she's going to apply for a small business loan, and just walks over to the bank. No planning, no appointment, nothing. The loan officer, thankfully, was kind of snarky and horrified, but I couldn't get past how completely unprofessional this was. WHO DOES THAT? Look, I don't know anything about taking out a business loan. But I wouldn't walk into the goddamn bank having done zero research first. When she asks if she needs to fill out the application in person and is told it's something she has to take home and prepare, she's completely caught off guard that she has to do a lot of complicated things like, you know, come up with a business plan.

This lack of maturity was jarring. Mind you, this was just one part of a book that has about 50 different plots going on. The whole first part of the book, she's living in some dream world where her ex-boyfriend is going to get back together with her once he makes partner in his law firm. This guy is a total asshole who cheated on her--something I don't think she ever finds out, even though Nate learns about it later in the book(!)--and he never wanted commitment. Despite being an asshole he was pretty clear about this, and they only dated for a few months, half of that time not even spending time together. She starts instituting all these changes in her life--things that are positive in and of themselves--for him. So that they can get married. It's pathetic. Italics are my only way of expressing my feelings. And while she's fighting off some sudden attraction to Nate, she's thinking/saying things like, "I'm barely single. Single for now." YOU ARE *COMPLETELY* SINGLE. Okay, I get that maybe this was a coping mechanism. But I mean, come on! Yes, I am worked up about this woman! She's ridiculous!

Honestly, I don't know what Nate saw in her, and that kind of ruined the enjoyment I usually get from an unrequited love trope. There's some personal growth toward the end, when she realizes Quinn was a bastard and she doesn't need to turn herself into a Stepford wife to get him back, which was never a possibility after they broke up. I just find it hard to believe that a mature woman would behave this way. Once she grows a spine, it's too late. It's too abrupt. Suddenly she's in love with Nate? Like...how? I don't know. He reads her the riot act a couple of times but being soooo in love, naturally all is forgiven and they live HEA.

Don't get me wrong, this book had some charming moments, so it wasn't a total loss, but I felt cranky by the time I finished it. Eh.

    4.5 stars!

Let me start off by saying how much I love the cover of this book. It's not just that the cover features one of my favorite things in the world, chocolate, but also how it's arrayed. I love the pink polka dots too. It makes for a really memorable cover. I also love how it ties in with the story. The same goes for the title. It's one of those that fits the story and it's multiple aspects perfectly.

Jessica Mallory, better known as Jessie, is looking to change things. She's not really happy with both her professional and personal life. She's emotionally invested in her relationship with her boyfriend Quinn (whom I didn't like very much) even though it doesn't seem like he is. She's ready to do something with her her talent and passion for making chocolate. I loved being in her head. Jessie is vulnerable and has many of the same insecurities as I do. It was really easy to understand and relate to her. I felt horrible for her when her sort of relationship fell apart and she was left feeling even worse than she was before. I loved that she had friends and a support system both personally and professionally, but hated how her immediate family wasn't there for her.

I loved being in Nate Lancaster's head too. He's one of Jessie's really close friends and he's also the best friend of her"boyfriend." To make things even more interesting, he's been in love with Jessie for a long time. With Quinn out of the picture, he has his chance to show Jessie what she's been missing all along. I think Nate was perfect for Jessie. Not only was he this hot body builder, but he was thoughtful and caring too. I loved how he put her first and supported her in whatever she wanted to do. I hated how his love was unrequited for so long, but Jessie was a smart girl and didn't remain blind forever.

Watching the dynamic change between Jessie and Nate was a lot of fun. Of course it wasn't so much for Nate, but that man was patient. The two of them had amazing chemistry and watching them with each other made me feel light and happy. Of course not everything was smooth sailing, and it took a couple of emotional bumps for them to work some things out. It wasn't all emotions and feelings though. There were some good bits of laughter as well. I must say the baby shower scene is my favorite. I literally could not contain my laughter. It was wonderful.

Of course this book flew by quickly. I would've loved to have seen Quinn get his comeuppance, but my anger towards him quickly faded to pity. I would've also loved more interaction between Jessie and her parents or at least a reason as to why they disregarded her completely. My heart hurt for her on that. I loved seeing Jax and Wren again and seeing how wonderfully they're doing. I had a strong hankering for some pasta with marinara after the scene on the farm. Natalie Charles has done a wonderful job at making her characters feel real and people you'd want to be friends with. She also does an amazing job at using language so descriptive you can almost see, taste, and touch the things she's taking about. I loved this trip to Archer's Cove and seeing it's inhabitants. I can't wait to go back and meet new people!

    A Sweet Possibility (Archer Cover 2) - PG13
    Violence: none
Language: fewer than 75, including deity, Fbomb
    Sex: yes. No details.

Erection as an interest indicator, which I *loathe*. I get unrequited love. I get bad boyfriend. I even get girl with low self-esteem. What I don't get is putting up with your so called best friend using your unrequited love as a booty call. Ick. Pass.

I received an ARC of this book from IndieSage PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.

What can I say? I love everything that has something to do with chocolates. That's why when I saw this book's cover, I was already half in love with it. I knew then that I just had to read it. When I got to the part of checking the blurb out, I fell more in love with it because the story was right up my alley. It's a sweet contemporary romance with the friends-to-lovers trope.

Do you ever read something that you already know exactly how things are going to unfold, and you feel like you've read the story a thousand times before but jut can't stop reading it anyway? It's how I feel about this book. Let's face it. This plot has been used, re-used, and even mis-used so many times that it has become very predictable. However, despite all that, I found myself enjoying every page of this book.

The story was light and sweet and easy. I enjoyed it mainly because of the characters. The heroine is like any other girl. We usually have our sights set on the wrong target. Sometimes, we go about doing things for the wrong reasons, but there are always some things that end up being the best part of our lives. The hero was a great guy who's had a crush on the heroine for some time now, even if she had her eye on another man. You already know what happens next because this story is already very common. Still, you'll have fun reading this book and you won't even have a single complaint.

This is my first book from this author, and I have to say, I will definitely check out her other books because I just happened to like her style and the way that this book entertained me through and through.

I didn't know how A Sweet Possibility would be, since I loved the first of the Archer Cove Series. But Natalie did not disappoint. What a fantastic book. From the start I was addicted, a few sleepless nights because I couldn't put the book down. Fantastic

This is a romance novel about Jessica whose boy friend dumped her so she gets her best friend guy who is a personal trainer to help her improve her eating habits and to get her exercising as well as maybe helping her with country club manners. Best friend Nate has always loved her, but has to hide his feelings while helping her shape up. Can this be predictable? Jessica also has the ambition to own a chocolate shop where she can sell her home made chocolates. Will this ambition come true? There are also friends and relatives to add details to this story. This is the sort of book I've been reading during the dog days of summer. A bonus is that it meets a Sugar Pop Reading Challenge requirement of a book that has sugar in the title.

  • Melody

Eh. I didn't finish it. Too much innuendo. It also just didn't hold my attention. What I read was just ok.

    3 stars.

  • Miriam

Okay. Am I the only one who thought that Jessie's drunk speech at her cousin's baby shower was hilarious? I could not stop laughing! And the whole time I was laughing, I kept thinking, "Oh my God, I'd totally do the same thing!"

Why? Because in the glaring light of everyone's successes, my own inadequacies, failures, and shortcomings are painfully brought to my attention. That's where Jessie was at this point in her life.

She had an okay relationship with a guy who's priority was work. She had a good job at a bakery where the chocolates she specialized in making were appreciated by customers. She had a home that wasn't hers. She had a best friend who was around more than her boyfriend. And she felt stuck in her life while everyone she knew was getting married, having babies, and having a family. It's what she wanted so what was she doing wrong?

To me, it wasn't that she was doing anything wrong. All the pieces were there. It was a matter of determining which pieces mattered more than others. What kicked her into gear was when her boyfriend dumped her after his firm's cocktail party. Honestly, I didn't feel heartbroken over that. I got the sense before that (and not because of the synopsis, lol) that he wasn't it for her. Ms. Charles really made that distance between Quinn and Jessie obvious, and I hoped and prayed that she wouldn't for anything get back together with him. She deserved someone who loved her despite her "bakery social skills".

Nate was an all around great guy. While he tried to keep his love for Jessie under wraps, it'd find ways to show up: driving her home, offering to help get her in shape, be a shoulder to cry on after a breakup. Yes, a friend does those things but a friend who feels more than friendship with you does it without question, without expectation of something in return. That's what Nate did. He loved her in his own quiet way because he knew, for the moment, her affections were for someone else. The breakup provided a way for him to finally show Jessie that all she ever needed was right in front of her.

This was a surprisingly sweet/sensual story. Sex was behind closed doors but their affection for one another was very open. It took time for Jessie to see Nate as more than a friend, but I think it was because she was so focused on winning Quinn back that she couldn't see it. Building up to that point of recognition was worth waiting for I think. Her awareness of Nate as more than a friend grew over time, and made her feelings for him more authentic for me.

I loved that this story wasn't so much about going from friends to lovers but about discovering your worth outside of a relationship and learning to see yourself as special, quirks and all, to the one person who mattered. Jessie didn't need a measuring stick to see how well her life was going compared to others. She was right where she needed to be. Add Nate into the mix and she discover the perfect recipe for living a life that was full beyond measure with room for more love and growth than she ever dreamed possible.

A Sweet Possibility is a thoroughly well written and solid story which I highly recommend if you want to curl up and while the day away. When I think of how I feel about this book, imagine a dense slice of chocolate cake which leaves you feeling satisfied and warm. It was rich and delicious ganache icing. To accompany the cake you have a beautiful coffee, your fave kind. That's what I imagine when I think of how to describe this book. It's like chic-lit but also thoroughly packed together with loads of packing lol. I wish I knew how describe what I meant!

I love Jessie instantly... not sure if it's because she's talking to a stuffed fox, but it's just that feeling, i'm gonna love this gal... more so when she's drinking at a baby shower. My words don't do this justice but it's a brilliant first chapter. We find out she's going out with Quinn who's a bit of a douche. Quinn's best friend Nate ends up driving Jessie after and yep, I'm liking Nate. (Spoiler: Quinn is actually a huge douche).

The two friends grow closer together while Nate is Jessie's Personal Trainer. Jessie has been dumped but knows what she needs to be to be a partner's wife. The author perfectly plays out the "you don't realise what you want is right under your nose" and it's a mixture of laughing and crying waiting for Jessie to see what is under her nose.

Brilliant and fulfilling writing which made me feel like I was right there at Archer Cove. Everything and everyone is described with just the right detail and reeled my attention right in. I did laugh, cry and sigh.

If you've read Book 1 in Archer Cove you'll love that Wren features.

A beautiful story, with lots of deliciousness (think the front cover people lol). I really really liked it and would highly recommend you take the time to sit down and soak up the fab story A Sweet Possibility is .

    4.5 from me.

P.S Is there anyway the Navy SEAL will be getting his story LOL

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

This was another one of those books where it was difficult for me to nail down just how many stars to give it. There were things I liked about the book, things that had me scratching my head a little, and things I plain didn't care for.

First with what I liked. Nate was extremely likable. He was a bit shy when it came to women, but that only made him more adorable.

When I started the book it was made to sound as if Nate and Jessie only knew each other through the guy Jessie was dating...Quinn. But as the story goes on, you find out that this wasn't the case. That Nate and Jessie were friends, too. It had me scratching my head a little until I finally just went with the new direction for the sake of the story.

Now for what I didn't like. I wasn't crazy about Jessie's character. I didn't hate her, but there were a few times when I wanted to ask if she was really that blind. No guy...no straight guy, at least...that I know would do half the things Nate does for Jessie and not want to be more than friends. Jessie, however, seems oblivious to it over and over again.

The editing is good and the story has a decent flow outside of that little hiccup on the beginning with the relationship set up.

I would recommend this to people who like friends to lovers romances.

A Sweet Possibility by Natalie Charles
Life is so much better with chocolate!
Jessica Mallory wants three things in life. She wants to lose a few pounds (which is a downfall when making chocolates and working in her uncle's bakery) She wants to have her own chocolate shop with a pink polka-dot awning. She also wants her current boyfriend Quinn to be “proud” of her.
She is friends with Nate Lancaster who is also a friend of Quinn. Nate actually loves Jessica. Nate wants his own gym and Jessica wants her own shop and at one point they both actually looked at the same building that was up for rent.
Quinn dumped Jessica and for a while he lied about working all the time and was seeing someone else who was more up to his standards.
When the book started Jessica went to her cousin’s baby shower and a relative was supplying her with drinks with alcohol. So she got drunk, the cousin who the baby shower and she was hormonal and the father of baby to be shoved cake and icing all over his wife's face and that did not go over at all. Jessica called Quinn for a ride and he came but he brought Nate with and Nate ended up driving Jessica home in her car.
Nate offered to help Jessica to lose weight and Jessica also devised a total self-improvement plan.
The book offers so much, great characters, great writing by Natalie Charles and is Book 2 in the Archer Cove series.

Rarely am I ever able to sum up a book in one word. However, I have one that aptly describes this book to me. Annoying. Oh my goodness, I can't believe I finished it. The two MCs were just about as frustrating as they come. The h, Jessie, is so selfish and insecure. The H, Nate, is a wimp about his feelings. He's honestly been pining away for this woman since high school and it took him until they were both in their 30s to work up the courage to say anything? I'm not the most courageous person and I'm not judging. I just can't find it in myself to care about him torturing himself by helping Jessie win back another man...if it's taken him over ten years to profess his real feelings for her. Honestly, the angst in this book was just too much. I sighed so many deep sighs...

There were some things I liked about the book, though. Mind you, there weren't enough to redeem the plot, but I feel the need to mention them. I enjoyed that we get both the MCs' povs and the third person narrative. This book was also pretty clean language wise and the sex scenes were meaningful and weren't graphic. I also liked the fact that there weren't really any ow/om issues. Nate wasn't a manwhore and that was refreshing for an NA romance. If it weren't for the crazily frustrating plot, I would have enjoyed this a lot more. The writing was very engaging.

This was a fun quick read. Jessie and Nate are both really fun characters in a fairly typical friends to lovers story.
When we first meet Jessie she needs a big wake up call. She's dating her dream man, but it's not going anywhere and she is blindsided when he ends things. She decides she isn't "good enough" for him and needs to make changes. Jessie turns to life long friend Nate to help her with the physical part of her plan.
Watching these two dance around each other was fun. Nate is pretty transparent about his feelings for Jessie, but she has so many issues that she can't see it. I was so glad when they both finally wised up and got together.
I was also glad to see Jessie work through some of her issues and realize that the only person she needed to live for was herself. I absolutely loved it when she stood up to the ex boyfriend.
There are no big surprises in A Sweet Possibility, but it's definitely a fun read - perfect for a rainy afternoon.

This book had a lot of different topics it dealt with: finding oneself, perserverance, changes one's person for the right/wrong reasons, betrayal, hope, to name just a few. In my opinion, there were too many to do each justice, and it made the story less enjoyable for me. The first chapters were dragging a bit, up till the end, I could not really identify or understand the main characters' actions and behaviour - that may have been due to the narration style, or just been me.
The story picked up a bit towards the middle, but I think putting all those different issues in it was too much for one book; sometimes I had the feeling the protagonists rushed from one drama to the other just to fit everything in, which for me was a bit detrimental to the storyline.
Although the characters did have some depth, the dialogues were not convincing for me, and the narration style and plot did not really keep me glued to the book.
I have read worse ones, no doubt, but there are also a lot better ones - sorry.

When what you're looking for is right under your nose.

Jessie was determined to find love everlasting with Quinn but when he breaks up with her and makes some very unflattering comments towards her, she finds herself at a crossroads. She is set on making changes to her life to win him back. Yes he is a complete idiot but when you feel your life slipping away, you'll grasp at anything, no matter how unattractive it actually is.

Enter Nate: her best friend and someone who has been in love with her for a long time. He encourages her to make changes for herself and only herself, while making her feel beautiful inside and out. And hopefully the more time they spend together the more opportunity for Jessie to see him as a man and not just a friend.

Friends to lovers is a favourite of mine and this didn't disappoint. It was sweet just like the chocolate that Jessie creates. It was endearing. It was fun. It was a fluffy, light read.

I have been waiting on this book for ages! Once I read the first book in the Archer Cove series (The Coffee Girl), I was hooked. And this book did not disappoint. In fact, I must say that I enjoyed it better than the first. The characters, especially Jessie and Nate, are very well developed and extremely relatable. Jessie has problems resisting chocolate. Who doesn't?

Both Jessie's and Nate's struggles throughout the book are the struggles of real life, and the author does a fantastic job of digging into life in a small(ish) town. All in all, this love story of a chocolatier and a personal trainer is funny, romantic, and satisfying. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review. All opinions expressed above are my own. I LOVED this book.

    A Sweet Romance

Sweet possibilities was a good story of two good friends that come together out of odd coincidence and fall for each other. I did have trouble in some cases dealing with Jessie. How she could be so blind to the whole situation with Quinn was so hard to believe, but I guess you could tell some people anything. It took her some time to stand her ground but I was happy for her.

I really liked Nate and how much he cared for Jessie and Quinn. I also liked how he wanted what was good for her and himself. I was very happy when he finally had it out with Quinn and told him how he felt. I really liked that he wasn't dirty or underhanded when it came to moving out of the friends zone with Jessie cause he could have bad mouthed Quinn to her to get her to move on.

It was a cute story and I would recommend it. I received this book free for a honest review

a really lovely story that every women can relate to at one time in their life. Jessie has a loser boyfriend Quinn who dumps her because she isn't what he is looking for. She tries to improve herself to win him back and finds his friend Nate who owns the gym she goes to for help. What she doesn't know is that Nate is in love with her as she is. Two professionals that afraid to take a chance . Its such a lovely story of these two who are bound to realize that they are truly discovering themselves, and that discovery is to be with each other. A truly great story and I think everyone will love it and agree with me when I say you can relate to both of the characters. Natalie Charles again writes a great book and is an author to follow.
