  Spellbound from start to the tear inducing finish! I'm glad there is one more book to come - I've been mesmerised with the whole series. The author does an amazing job of getting you to invest in the characters - even the one's you love to hate. I won't give any spoilers away - just enough to say that some ends are tied up with answers still hanging on a few.
  I totally agree with one of the reviewers that the book series is quite cinematic in approach. It would make a gripping tv series. Five stars all the way for this.

  I'm not much for writing reviews . since I'm low on book funds I have to wait to read book 5 but I just can't wait. I am so in love with reading this series and am so Happy it isn't over. Such an amazing series that keeps you wanting to be in the characters lives. Wanting to known what is going to happen next! Bravo.

  This story (and all of them in the series) is such a wonderful cinematic read. You can see the story play out in front of you with the way McGregor writes. I always feel like I am watching a good horror movie.
  
  There were times in this book where I just had to stop reading for a second because I grossed myself out or things just got squirm worthy. In part, this might have been because I was reading with all the lights off with just my reader as a light source, but mostly it was the atmosphere and events that I couldn't help but be drawn into
  
  My favorite character will always be Half-Boy. He is so eery and creepy, but such a love.

  Another creeptastic winner! This installment took on an especially spooky air; I tend to read this series with the lights on anyway, but this book was made for day-reading.
  
  Can I say that I so totally called it in the relationship department? The Kaitlin/Billie relationship reached an unbelievable level. And we made all around leaps, bounds, and waves within all of Billie's relationships in general, which was utterly satisfying.
  
  I can honestly say that I love this series and its characters (except for Jen, and especially Gantry) despite the small fact that it terrifies me. Pulse pounding moments in every chapter, and read like a finale... Oh please don't be a finale!

  So glad Billie and Ray got together. So glad they are done with the Murder House. I hope! Can't wait to see what has happened to Gantry. Still don't understand who the legless boy is. Can't wait for the next book! Tim McGregor, you are a talented and gifted writer. I love where your imagination goes and yes, I hope you continue this series!

  I loved this book and this series. I could not put the books down. However, after reading the whole series, I think it makes more sense to read the books in the following order: 2, 3, 1, 4. It just makes more sense to me that way. I sincerely hope that the author writes another book because I don't want to be done with Billie, Mockler and Gantry yet.

  Brilliant series, what a twist, I won't say more but brilliant. A couple of loose threads at the end ..... Does this mean more Billie or maybe a spin off for Gantry ? Hopefully both, great read would defiantly recommend this series.

  Spooky yet satisfying
  
  The murder house is a bad idea, but Billie goes in anyway. I wasn't expecting what happened there, but it did. Her guardian angel is the one you least expect. I'm guessing he plays more of a part in Billie's life that I initially thought. I'll find out in book 5!

  I find myself reading until 5a.m. ! I can't stop reading, turning page after page. The characters are becoming engraved upon my heart, the storyline is becoming addictive.

  Loved it! This is such a good series. The main character is believable and likeable and the stories are fantastic with just the right amount of horror and mystery to make it an all-around great read.

  This was an excellent read. A smooth plot with few missing chunks this time that really delivers a suspenseful feel. I enjoyed the build between characters and the emotional tolls taken on their psyche during the twists and turns that this story takes you through as the reader. I think this is the most invested I’ve been in this series thus far. The tensions boiling, the overall impending plot that seems to be slowly escaping, and Billie’s character are all main focal points that really seem to deliver this time around. I think this installment may have been better suited earlier but I also understand that these all took some time to build, I just still am not a huge a fan of the order in which this author did so. This finally felt like an actual sequel to the first installment and for that I am grateful. This series overall is highly intriguing, fresh and suspenseful. I think the characters are more adaptive than most others in this genre and they feel very realistic and none feel unnecessary or redundant which, believe it or not, I tend to find as a common occurrence in recurring characters. I liked the flow of this one the most, and I enjoyed the character developments in this the most also. The author really gives you a deeper look at each person, who they are, how they relate to everything that seems to constantly be spiraling around them, and why they have importance to this plot. I think this installment is the best one yet. I personally still am not in love with this series, meaning, I’m not exactly craving more and more which is why I leaned towards a 4 instead of a 5. I do think someone else will fall in love with it but for me, while it is very good and interesting, I don’t find it to be all consuming once I finish it. I just kind of finish it and that’s that.

  I enjoyed the whole Spookshow series. Yes, it's kind of lame to post the same review for each novel, but I tore right through them and honestly can't remember which was which - they were all good.
  
  These are good adventure tales populated by people who act in realistic ways when faced with impossible situations. There's no blindly stumbling into danger, or when there is it's because the characters honestly don't understand or can't accept what's going on. Finally, the characters are honestly traumatized by what happens to them, as they should be.
  
  Finally, the best part is what's not there. No shiny vampires. No unsuspecting hero that masters her new powers in the space of one novel. And most importantly: No sappy, unrequited romance. (Yes, there's romance, but they approach it like real people: shy to admit to their feelings at first, insecure about how the others feel, but then they eventually gather the courage to do something about it. No endless, weepy pining.)
  
  Hats off to the author for crafting an engrossing experience and keeping the quality high throughout all the novels. Keep it up!

  If you like paranormal novels with ghosts intrigue, and suspense then this series is for you! Billie is about to find out more about her family than she bargained for. I recommend starting with the first book.

  I would give this a 4 if it had been proofread - seriously - grammar and spelling errors don't change the story, and he's a really good story teller. But they irritate me!
