Daredevil (1964-1998) #10 Reviews

I've noticed that early Daredevil comics seem to be going for a song these days so have dipped my toe into picking up way too many, they just keep dropping through the post every day now. This is a lot of fun as Wally Wood draws this one and takes over writing duties from Stan Lee. A masked criminal called the Organizer does an Oceans 11 and cosplay mash-up as they pull together a band of criminals and gives each one the disguises of a cat, ape, bird and frog. There's some really nice, detailed art for the era in this one even though we have a complaint about Daredevil's new red and black costume in the letters page; "I don't like D.D's new costume. The red, or the black (I'm not sure what color it is) is about as blah as you could get." don’t worry, I am sure it won't be around for long.. oh wait..

Here are the pros:
- The clue as to who the organizer is pretty nifty. Most people would miss it if they didn’t pay attention to the art.
- Wally Wood set up a pretty interesting story with a good team of villians.
Here are the cons:
- Daredevil only being stunned by a grenade mere inches away from him is ridiculous. I wish he was injured more often.

Cat-Man: best villain ever.
