Sedona Venez just keeps getting better and better with each book with this series. I am so loving the story of Core McKay and Sin Michaels. They have come so far and yet have so far to go.
Sinthia Michaels is a fashion designer. Her work is her heart, life, and passion. To her nothing has come easy. She has clawed her way to where she is today. It seems the harder she works the more is thrown at her. I think with each obstacle she has faced has only made her stronger and this amazing woman she is today. The carpet is really thrown out from underneath her in this book. You heart will just break for her. Once again she finds herself picking up the pieces. But along with hard times also comes with some good times as well.
Sin has never had a mother that has loved her and the father that loved her is dead. She believes in not letting a man close to her due to ex cheating boyfriend. It seems the harder she try she can to get Core McKay out of her head. Will one night be enough?
Core McKay has been thru so much. As you know in the last book he lost the only woman he had ever loved and to top that off she was pregnant with his unborn child at the time. How does a person ever get over that kind of lose? Seeing glimpse into his past helps you understand why is the way he is today. He has built up this wall and keeps woman at arms length. Only problem with that is it appears Sin is tearing down those walls little by little. Can Core ever love and trust again?
Sin was suppose to be this pawn that Core uses to get to Bigsby Cahoune. The thing about playing games is not always does everything goes to plan. Can Core use and hurt Sin as he had plan? What is Bigsby and Sin’s connection? What is Bigsby really up to? Will Core ever get revenge for his mother’s death?
I have to say that this book is not a standalone, but trust me when I say that each and every book in this series is well worth the read. I so can not wait to read the next book to see what happens. FYI, have “Beast” handy you will need it for the hot and steamy parts..LOL -

4.5* I have really enjoyed part 3 of the Twisted Lies story, this one especially as Core and Sin have finally given in to the chemistry between them and boy was it hot!!!!
It has also left me wanting more, with so many unanswered questions I really want to find out what happens next. Which is the only downside to books with cliffhangers, which is why I usually avoid them as I am too impatient to wait, but this story is definitely worth waiting for and I would happily recommend it. -

This is my second series for Sedona that I have read, and in Sedona Venez style she wrote 4 parts to the story, which I love.
But I wish that part 1-3 were longer (just a little longer than they were).
I really love this story and the plot to it. In general it was a nice light read with good heroine and sexy as fuck hero.
Sin is a strong woman and she has been through alot of tragedy and same with Core. Core meets Sin and wants to use her for his own gain, but the he starts to fall for her. Core starts his plot to uncover things and as he does he starts find out that there is tragedy that waits Sin. This is the story of how their worlds collide and how she handles it all including their love.
I will give it a 4.5 star for the first 3 books and I also did the Audiobook which was just pure perfection, Ava Lucas and Teddy Hamilton did a stellar job on the audio. (Love Ava and Teddy’s voice, sexy sexy sexy).
Anyhooo… the Smut was nicker melting for sure, so I’d say “ladies extras nickers out yeah”
I totally recommend this read for those who are into light plots and short but sweet story romance’s .

I thought the repetitive narration and information would have ended by now; however, it didn't, and there was more repeated information than new parts to the story.

Twisted Lies 3 is book three in the series Boss of Dirty Secrets by author Sedona Venez. If the last one was dark, this is naughty- deliciously so. There are still secrets- several.
A tragedy has taken place will Sin overcome it- will Core help? Or will the truth come out. So much hanging in the balance. Next please.

Sin and core
Omg the third installment had me at the edge of my seat I wonder what will happen when sin finds out everything I hope core says something before is too late cause secrets hurt more when they are found out then when they are told honestly.. -
So ..... Tada...... Yet another cliff hanger, having co-ordinated the breakdown he has now bedded Sin and seems to be well on the way to destroying her too.
I now have to wait until next month for part 4, I so hope this is the end, if not then I may just apply for a refund. -
Too much flashback
This has too much flashback in it to be part of a series. This is a story that has been broken into parts that should have just been in one book. Why spend so much time saying the same thing that was in another part. -

Again, too much repetition. There was a lot of wasted drama potential. Overall the series was too simple and done. I don't feel like there was anything unique about this series. -

This series is so good but book 3 way to short. By time it got really juicy it end. Really!!!! I'm so ready and waiting on book 4. I really love this series. Ready for book 4 -

Part 3 had a lot of repeats from book 1 and 2 which wasted several pages the readers already knew about. Otherwise more drama and little more sex. Hopefully part 4 is better

The Dirty Secrets continues with the third installment in the series. Things between Sinthia (Sin) and Core are heating up and I mean literally. The tension that's been growing in between them is at boiling point and it's fantastic to watch! Sin is being her scrappy sarcastic self, giving lip like a pro. Core is still the master of his domain and all in it as he tries to avenge his mother's death.
I felt like this part is the hottest yet. Not only do Sin and Core burn up the pages, but the mystery and suspense also ramp up. There were some interesting developments in the story. I liked how the flashbacks to the past were included. It really helped me grasp what motivated Core and Sin as I was privy to moments and thoughts other characters weren't.
Thankfully it's a fast read which is a mixed blessing. Especially since I wanted to read more at the end of this part. I felt like while Sin and Core made great strides with their attraction to one another, I was a little confused at how quickly Sin capitulated to Core's desires and demands. Plus the mystery surrounding Sin's parents is making me curious and something I would've loved to know more about.
I'm really looking forward to the next part because I'd love to know how the story progresses from here. I have a feeling things are about to get a little more interesting for both Sin and Core as the puzzle pieces of their lives fall in place. -
Ok I'm officially pissed off! 86 pages of sizzling drama and then BAM! I swear if the storyline and drama weren't off the friggin' charts I would not continue with this series! Core and Sinthia are soooo HOT!
TLDS 3 is the best story in this series so far. A few questions from book one and two are answered. The most important aspect of the book is that finally after seriously hot foreplay in books one and two, Core and Sin finally give in and get down with the horizontal tango! Yeah their love play is definitely not the vanilla flavor.....their sex is raw, gritty, and just plain ole hair pulling, sweaty, heck yeah! Core is a true alpha dominant down to the smallest detail in and out of the bedroom!
So I'm giving this story a strong 4.5 stars. The story is much better this time around but it's short and could be so much more. I did not like reading the exact same thing AGAIN I read in books one and two, example Core's mom death and Kyle hurting Sin. The space it took to review those scenes for the third time could have been used to expand on other scenes or providing insight into the 5+ angles revealed in books one and two.
I would recommend this series but a warning you better have the patience of a saint because the "short story" format and the "wtf" cliffhangers will push you to the brink of WHATEVA! -
I LOVE THIS SERIES!! Sin and Core are sinful that is for sure and Book 3 keeps drawing us in. OH MY we are seeing more and more that there is no way these two will NOT be a couple at the end of this book OR will they?
Sedona Venez knows how to weave a tale of erotic mystery. I could see every single thing she wrote on the page as it happened. I could see the dresses Sin created and wanted them for myself as a Curvy gal. Could feel the pain in the book and OH MY I could feel the heat between the sheets to say.
I loved the way Sedona Venez reminds us about things from the past books (because hey some of us don't go back and re-read before the next installment comes out or have great memories) and it helps in my opinion to keep it fresh in my mind why things are as they are like Cole's Mom's death and Sin's disgraceful excuse for a mom Grace.
Twisted Lies 3 Winds YOU UP and Gets Us ready for what is bound to happen next... I am so ready for more. 5 Star read. I was gifted an ARC but purchased the book as I do each time so I will have the collection when the series is complete. -
Wow just the name Core has me twisted all over... He's bent on revenge, bent on not feeling for anyone but he's having trouble with that especially after Sin came into the picture. He wants her and it's not just for the reasons he's been telling himself.
Bigsby is just outside the net Core casted but will Core be able to sacrifice the bait he had in mind?
Even though I hadn't read the earlier 2 installments of this series and this is my first book by Sedona Venez, I was able to get caught up into the story. Of course, it would have been better if I knew more about Core and Sin which I will remedy. The story is fast paced and the plot is well developed. I was so caught into the story that I read it in 1 sitting. Core had a commanding effect. The chemistry between Core and Sin was combustible and I liked their straightforwardness. Do bear in mind that the story is in parts so it ends with a cliffhanger although nothing major in this installment. I'll definitely be checking out the rest of this series.

OMG! Make sure you have your fire extinguisher handy while you read this! You will need it to put out the many fires that spring up throughout this episode. As the heat continues to build between Core and Sinthia, it becomes even harder to put the book down. You definitely don't want to miss a word, let alone a page. There is so much happening in this episode that you simply don't want it to end any time soon.
Sedona has given us a hot plot that continues to burn as the story progresses. The characters are so intense that you want to be there with them to witness it all in person. The author has an incredible talent that brings an idea to life in vivid 3D colour as your own imagination kicks in and joins in with the fun.
Once again, be prepared to be left hanging. This is a serial and should be read in its' proper order to get the full feel of the story. My only disappointment is that it ended way too soon, but on the other hand, it left it open for so much more. Can't wait to read part 4.

So the Sex scene in this book was amazing vut there was just not enough for me and GAA AA why is there another book. This series shoulf only be 2 books putting the 1st and 2nd part as one book and the 3rd and 4th as another.
I did enjoy this book better than the other 2 but do we really need to re-read why she hasan issuse i mean we know what happened we have seen it in each book enough already and the ae goes for core we know what happened ro his mam do we need to keep re-hashing it in each book.
The sex between them was hot but there could have been more of it really and also its very obvious what is going to happen in next book they will fall for each other only for her to find out (probably by accidentally over hearing a conversation between him and ram) that he kinda betrayed her going as far as luring her away from her home and allowing it to be trashed to get what he needs.
i am not sure i looking forward to reading the next book but at the same te i wana see where Sedona goes with this -
I received this ARC of Twisted Lies#3 in exchange for an honest review, as this is m first time reading this author, I quickly subscribed to her newsletter. Betrayed by her mentor and one time friend once she learned who had financed her business and that she stupidly signed almost all of her company to her enemy she was enraged and went to kick some butt only her ex-mentor had moved out of her brownstone! She definitely needed a drink and her bestie, Jade was more than willing to hang with her so off they went to their favorite club to get wasted.
Core McKay, saw that the finishing touches on The McKay Club was coming along nicely and his next business was luring Bigsby's fiance from him. The man had killed his mom when he was just a boy and he remembered the unusual ruby and diamond horseshoe gold ring he wore. He had plans to ruin him and let all his wealthy political friends see they had gotten in bed with a sex slave monster. Then and only then would he get his dose of Sin Michael's out system. Enough to make her beg for more while he left her like a bad itch. -
Sin knows Core is bad for her but it is getting more and more difficult to resist. Core knows mixing business and pleasure is not a good idea but he has to have Sin.
Core is keeping a lot of secrets from Sin but he is honest about his feelings for her. He wants to challenge her and take away some of the control she likes to have with her sexual partners. It is a real battle for them both.
The chemistry is amazing and you see that they are developing some real feelings which scare them both. They are not used to letting people in and just used to sharing their bodies and leaving. You know they are in for a world of hurt when the secrets are revealed.
The story moves quick and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I am an Arc reader for an honest review I am interested in reading the 4th book of the series as an Arc reader. I love this one finally we see Sin and Core how much hunger they want from each other. Core still wants to take Bigsley down but didn't see that he was going to fall for Sin more there chemistry is up to the max. I like how they both can't get enough of each other and Core really cares about her. I like his assistant I feel like there should be a book for her and also her friend Jade. Core is holding secrets from Sin that will hurt them in the future but I can't wait for the 4th one. A MUST READ!

Book gifted for honest review
Sin can't deny what she is feeling for Core but she has Beast to satisfy her needs just now, but Core is going to make Sin his and after overhearing a phone call that involves Sin, Core knows he must keep her safe.
Core seems to be putting the pieces together in why Bigsby wants in on Sin's business. But is Core willing to go into bed with the devil just to get his revenge and find Lexi whilst he at it?
The sexual chemistry/tension between Sin and Core is so thick you would have trouble cutting it with a knife. Will Sin find out what Core is really up to before hearts get involved?
Can't wait to read the next book in this series
