Caitlin and Andie are excited to start junior high. They are identical twins on the outside but are different in their personalities and interests. Caitlin is an excellent student who has high hopes of being a part of the Jazz Ensemble group, while Andie would rather be on the field kicking the soccer ball.

Olive used to be a close friend of both girls until she went with Andie to soccer camp. Caitlin chose not to go and the other two girls became closer. Caitlin misses that and hopes that someday she and Olive can be best buddies again.

School starts off with a bang: Caitlin has to take a physical fitness test and just knows she won't be able to pass it. It would be a piece of cake for Andie, so just this once, why don't they trade places? It will just be for a day.... Or so the girls think!

The sisters soon realize they are caught in a big mess! Can they get out of it without anyone's feelings being hurt? How will Olive take the news that her best friend has been lying to her?

This is a fun, entertaining book. It kept me anxiously reading to find out who would realize the twins had switched places and what would happen next.

2 identical twin sisters who are either good at academics or sports. The 2 of them start a plan to switch places for one day to save each other in either what they are good at. The plan works really well for a day, and they start using it more often, which becomes out of hand!

I found it quite confusing, because each chapter they keep changing point of views of the 2 sisters, and I start losing track of what's going on! Other wise, it was pretty interesting and pretty good. Just a little confusing at time.

Of course, it's a book aimed toward younger readers. But I think it was one of the best out of the Candy Apple books!

It definitely keeps you reading and is easy to read because of the easy print.
It also has some really funny lines in it too that keep you more entertained (:

i'd have to say the ending was EXTREMELY surprising. No spoilers here, you'd have to read it yourself but i absolutely loved the ending. This is probably my favorite Candy Apple book.

I think it is up your ally if your 10-13 years old.

I really like this book and it reminds me of a show I watch called liv and maddie but it was also very different

If you've ever seen the movie Switching Goals, starring the Olsen twins, then you'd pretty much know the plot of this book. It's freakily alike. We have two twins, Andie and Caitlin. One is sporty, the other is girly. When the girly twin (Caitlin) has to pass a fitness test, they decide to switch places. It was only supposed to be a one-time thing but it just kept spiraling out of control! Read it to find out if they got it straightened out ;). I'd recommend this book to people who like "mixed up" drama. I wouldn't recommend this to people who don't like the simple stories.

I thought this book was unbelivabely lame! It's all about two twin sisters who are having problems in their own lives so they switch for a while, and no one knows the difference. But then (who could have guessed?) they start new problems in each others lives! If I could, I would be not marking this book 1 star - it would be zero. But there was something I could relate to in the story - having a sister!

    I liked this book.

I think it showed the true ups-and-downs to having a twin. It also sent a message to me that thing wont always turn out the way you plan, but they can still end up alright, just not the way you thought it would.

Caitlin and Andie were very relatable characters. I think i enjoyed Caitlin a tiny bit better because she messed up their "switch" the most! Haha.

Anyways, i liked it. And that's all i have to say(:

Andie and Caitlin are twin sisters. Andie is a very sporty type of girl. She plays soccer. On the other hand her twin sister Caitlin is the exact opposite she is the type of girl who likes to read but she has sense of fashion. Since they both have the same face and look exactly the same in every way expect their personality and what they wear they switched places. Caitlin did what Andie did and Andie did what Caitlin did.

I really did not appreciate this book for one reason .This book is like all the rest .The authors basically just copied common book idea .I have seen authors write books about twins being polar opposites and then having to become someone they are not .A horrible book by the authors because there was no originality .

Usually the candy apple books are nice reads, but really not that great, well this book exceeded my expectations and was the best candy apple book I have read. If you like soccer, like me, then you may enjoy this book. This book always had unexpected situations and I was never bored well reading it. This book wasn't amazing, but in terms of other candy apple books it was the best.

the sister switch is about two twins named allie and caitlin. allie is awesome at sport and caitlin has the brains.but when caitlin has a sports exam coming up she asked allie to take her place and pass.

I like Caitlin more. Andie should have confessed that she was Caitlin instead of trying out for the Jazz Ensemble for her. I'm a mix of both the personalities. It would have been cool if the had a second book continuing this.
