Ivy Nelson comes back home after years away following her dream of photography. As one of the best, she has done celebrity weddings and supermodel shoots. But when she hears her father has had a heart attack, she comes back home and offers to help with the family's nursery until her dad is back on his feet. When the local photographer gets sick, Ivy is called in to shoot the annual firefighter's calendar.
Cade Hardesty is a firefighter - who gets assigned a g-string and a kitten for his photo shoot. He can't believe his best friend's sister is back in town. When they were young, the three of them would get into a lot of fun trouble. Cade knows he has a good body, but parading it around almost naked in front of Ivy turns up the heat. When Cade has an annoying ex girlfriend who won't leave him alone, Cade dares her (as he dared her in her younger years) to pretend to be his girlfriend for one day, so maybe the ex will get the hint. Their pretend kisses turn into steamy make-out sessions and they realize their friendship might be headed to romance land.
I thought this story was so cute. It's your typical best friends to lovers/small town story, with even the hot firefighter holding a kitten scene. But the story is fast-paced with very likable characters. Ivy dealt with weight problems as a child, but now that she is an adult, she is proud of her curves and shows them off. She is the one that pursues Cade, wanting to explore a romantic relationship, while he is more scared of jeopardizing their friendship. I liked her forward nature and confidence.
Cade's a really good guy, with some nice friendship banter and firehouse scenes included. There was even that time that Ivy left pasta boiling on the stove and left the house for a minute, locking herself out. So she decided to climb through the doggie door and gets stuck. Luckily the house has an automatic-call to the fire station.. But unlucky for Ivy, she is still stuck in the doggie door when Cade arrives. There was a lot of giggles.
This is the first time I've read this author and I enjoyed her voice. On to looking up her back list.
Grade: B -
Right off the bat, I have to say that I loved the fact that Ivy's character used to be a big girl when she was younger-and that she's still a average-sized woman now in this story. It makes her character very easy to identify with for me...and the fact that she knows what she wants and goes after it is a big plus as well.
Cade is pretty damn great--extremely hot and sexy firefighter who knows how to cook, and here in Triple Dare he's that player that is finally going to be corralled by "the one"...or will he? There's also a good, solid cast of supporting characters that have me wanting to dive in to the other books in this series.
This story puts together a couple of my favorite romance tropes-the player finally meeting his "one" and the brother's best friend-and gives you a really fun, sexy read. For me, Cade seemed to be denying his feelings during the first part of the book which was a little frustrating, but once he gets past that the story settles in, though there's some predictability in the plot.
Triple Dare was pretty entertaining, and it's piqued my interest in the author's other books in the series (oh yes, you don't need to have read the others to enjoy this one-it is definitely a standalone). It was a 4-star read for me, and I'd recommend it to romance fans who like a nice dose of steamy scenes in their stories ;-) Now to find out where I can get one of those calendars from the book... -
3 ½ out of 5 stars
This story was good, but fell just a little short for me. I enjoyed the characters - Ivy and Cade - and I enjoyed their playful banter, but I just didn’t connect with them like I sometimes do.
Ivy has been all over the world as a fashion photographer, but came home to help take care of her dad after his heart attack. Her home is a small town full of people who have tormented her most of her life. Cade is her twin brother's best friend. He is also her first love and a totally hottie!
I liked that the author didn’t immediately throw them together and that they actually fought the feelings a little longer than some other books, BUT when they got together it wasn’t as electric as I was hoping for. Although in following through on the first dare, Ivy wore Cade’s extra jersey to his softball game and this line in the book made me excited to see where their relationship would go:
“Damn.” He eyed her up and down, his baby blues leaving goose bumps in their wake. “My shirt never looked so good.”
And their connection was good, just not the intense one I was anticipating.
Having been my first book by Ms Kyle, I didn’t know the other characters in the story, but she did a pretty good job of incorporating them into the story without making me feel like I missed too much, but included just enough story to inspire me to read their stories, too. -
Cade's compliments can melt your panties off, they're that damn sexy, “damn.” He eyed her up and down, his baby blues leaving goose bumps in their wake. “My shirt never looked so good.” she eyed him right back, lingering a little longer than necessary between his legs, where the baseball pants weren’t hiding anything." When it comes to his woman Cade's willing to play dirty, "he lowered himself onto the sofa and laid his crutches on the floor. “Do your rules include doing the deed? Or at least some heavy petting? Because I’m feeling kind of lonely down here. And horny.” I really enjoyed this book I loved Cade.
-
This was another good read in the Art of Seduction series. Cade is the type of guy I'm not keen on, a serial shagger. In fact when we meet him first, he is on his way to a date with a blond bimbo who turns out to be a major stalker. Not cool and not very heroic.
Ivy has known Cade forever as he's been her twin brother's best mate since kindergarten. She liked him, a lot, but she was the chubby girl at school and paid the price in humiliation so she and Cade stayed in the friend zone.
Now a dozen years later, she's back in town, a famous fashion photographer and quite a few pounds lighter, but still curvy. Suddenly Cade is wondering why he never noticed she was a girl before. Shallow twat. But hey, we have to have a character growth arc. Sort of like Jack Black in that movie with Gwyneth Paltrow.
Their first meeting is when she has to photograph him for a sexy fire fighter calendar. *objectifies* It would make a great scene in a movie...with maybe Chris Hemsworth as Cade. Anyway...
What starts out as a dare to protect Cade from stalker bimbo turns into so much more when the sparks light up just from a kiss. When events conspire to put them into the same house for six weeks it's a conflagration. Lucky he's a fireman...with a big hose... OMG this book is corrupting me.
Overall this was a cute read with a light touch on some big issues. It came complete with "big gesture" so it all worked out...now I'm seeing Chris Hemsworth working out. That's probably enough excitement for one day. -
Great, Great Story. Ivy and Cade have known each other since grade school, Cade is her brother's best friend. Ivy was teased in school for having a curvier figure than most the other girls, this made Ivy very self conscious around people but it also helped her become a strong person. After school she decided to move away from her small hometown to escape bad memories and mean people. She returns home to help out in the family business after her father suffers a heart attack. She is a rising fashion photographer and while home to keep busy she offers her help to one of the two local photographers who has been ill. She helps with a calendar shoot of local firemen for a school fundraiser. It just so happens that one of the hunky firemen happens to be Cade. Ivy has had a crush on him forever but he has always looked at her as his best friend's little sister. Cade and his fellow firemen respond to a call of a kitten stuck in a pipe in the process of rescuing it he hurts his leg and he has to have a cast on it. Now he has restrictions and limitations, no climbing stairs this creates a dilemma since his apartment is on the second floor of his complex. So Ivy offers for him to stay with her which works out fine but the heat between them is becoming more difficult to ignore. But she is suppose to be leaving once her father is better so what will they do? This book was a real page turner I truly enjoyed the story.

Ivy has had a thing for Cade since they were younger but of course he only saw her as a friend. Now that she is home to help take care of her father Cade is noticing her curves but of course he doesn't want to ruin a good friendship.
Cade is a ladies man and his ex will not leave him alone. So Ivy offers to help her get the picture but soon things start to heat up and both go up in smoke.
I liked the characters and the way they were written. Ivy was made fun of when she was younger and now that she is older she has shed her baby weight and is all curves. Some still call her fat but she owns her body which I loved. I liked how Cade changed his ways and wanted something with her. He wanted her to have her career and yet stay with him.
The way Cade got hurt was on the unique side and I'm glad it had nothing to do with a fire. Cade stays with Ivy while his broken leg heals and they become closer.
One thing I love about blaze books is that they are so much hotter and feel more realistic.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I liked it. Although the plot had its originally moments I felt the charity calendar has been over used in romance novels. I would have loved to see something a little different and more unique.
Is this book worth the read? Yes because it's cute and has a friends to lovers story. I always find them the best reads. -
4 Stars!
This is my first book by this author and definitely won't be my last. This book was sweet, sexy, fun, passionate, slightly angsty, and had a slightly forbidden friends to lovers story. This story right here had me laughing, smiling, swooning, and definitely falling in love by the end.
This is Ivy and Cade's story. Ivy and Cade have known each other their whole lives. They grew up together. Ivy always had a crush on Cade but he never knew it or showed her the time of day. Well little Ivy is all grown up and blossomed into a women and Cade can't help but notice...
Cade has always looked at Ivy as his little sister since her brother is his best friend. Well not that she is back in town, he is rethinking his thoughts on her. And when a situation happens, Ivy throws herself into his life in a way he never even thought possible. Temptation is so sweet...
As these two begin a secret relationship, real feelings get involved. Feelings will get hurt. Lines will be drawn. Boundaries will be crossed. Will they fight for their chance at love? Get ready for one smoking hot firefighter and one fiesty photographer to rock your world!
I recommend this book.

Thoughts: I can honestly say this has been one of the better Harlequin reads that I have come across in awhile. Don’t get me wrong, I love Harlequin books, and have spent many years reading and loving them. For me however, I feel like they have sort of lost something along the way. There are so many Harlequin (and Silhouette, too!) books that I have and that hold a dear place in my heart. Storylines that I remember and that I find myself frequently going back to and re-read over and over again. I haven’t really captured that feeling with the newer titles….sure it’s a decent read while I am in the moment, but they just don’t stand out in your mind like they used to. I miss that old feeling I had when picking up the older titles.
I got to recapture a glint of that special something in this book.
From the very beginning, the sparks between Cade and Ivy had me hooked, and their photo shoot just couldn’t get any hotter! But it also had that emotional hook, and just a hint of vulnerability to the characters that kept me fascinated all the way up until the end.
Definitely a keeper…J

Blaze books are my guilty obsession. I have loved them since someone gave me a box of pre loved books back in 2003 and when I seen this was a blaze I just knew it would be good and it didn't fail!
Ivy has had a crush on her brothers best friend for as long as she can remember. When she agrees to help out a family friend by taking the photos for a fireman calendar she is pleasantly surprised to discover that the object of her affection is none other than Cade himself. She gets to see him in next to nothing and take photos of him looking hotter than ever.
Cade hasn't seen Ivy for years so is shocked when he sees just how much she has changed. She is no long the frumpy teen he remembers but is not a sexy photographer.
Sparks fly and the heat gets turned all the way up in this friends to lovers meets friends with benefits that turn to more love story that will have your panties melting off you. -
I want to send my thanks to Regina Kyle, author and Goodreads First Reads Giveaway for my copy of Triple Dare ~ The Art of Seduction that I won in the Giveaway.
Sexy world-class photographer and his best friend's twin sister, Ivy Nelson is back in town to help with the family business due to her dad being ill. Cade Hardesty, local firefighter is set to pose for a community calendar and Ivy is filling in to take the pictures. This starts bringing Ivy's fantasy of a romance with Cade into a reality.
Triple Dare is full of crazy dares and fun to keep it light-hearted while the romance develops. Throw in a crazy ex-girlfriend, lots of interference from Ivy's family and Cade getting hurt on the job to make this a delightful story for romance lovers. -
4 star
The story has laughs, steamy fun, and heartbreak.
This is Ivy and Cade’s story. Cade is Ivy’s twin brother Gabe’s best friend. So they have known each other for a long time. When Ivy comes back to town she agrees to help Cade with a problem in the form a clinging ex. Can she pretend to be his girlfriend when she had a crush on him for years? But a dare is a dare. She has never backed down from a dare. But the plan was not for Ivy to stay forever she was back to help out the family. Can Cade really ask her to stay for him? When friends become lovers all the lines are blurred. Can they both figure out what they want before one of them gets is heartbroken?
I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book. -
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Damn..... You're gonna love this book.
I mean, seriously.
Who doesn't love a sexy firefighter?
Holding a kitten.
Shirtless.
In a G-string...
See. Now you understand.
This is by far my favorite book in the series. And there is at least one more book to go! The characters are pure perfection. Not only is Cade sinfully sexy with his naughty personality and good boy image, but Ivy is the perfect compliment with her quirky, yet sassy, personality.
The story is relatable, heartwarming, and plenty steamy between the sheets. You'll fall in love by chapter two and won't put this book down until you've read the very last line. -
A Fun Steamy Romance
This book was a totally fun and refreshing romance. It's light and sweet and has zero darkness. The author has done a great job with the writing. I absolutely love her wit and sense of humor. The plot is great while not being exactly a new idea of a childhood crush taken into adulthood, but it is so well written that it doesn't feel like you've read it before. The characters are so real and enjoyable and relatable, especially Ivy. Lets not forget that the steamy scenes are make-you-sweat hot. A totally feel good romance. I was generously given a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review. -
Oh this book was so good! It was one of those that gave me the feels. I laughed, I cried and I empathized with Ivy.

Triple Dare by Regina Kyle is the third book in The Art of Seduction series. It is a friends to lover tale with everything you would expect from that dynamic.
The Good
* Triple Dare is a short and uncomplicated read. Perfect if you are looking for a romance that you can use a few hours on.
* Ivy isn't an over reactor. She is actually pretty level headed and rational even if everyone else was not.
The Bad
* Neither of the characters had enough personality (especially Cade) there were some interesting things going on (her experiences at school and his dyslexia) but they were danced around. Just a little more depth would have gone a long way.
* The romance is the main crux of the story but I didn't think there was enough chemistry between Cade and Ivy. I was not convinced that these two should be together.
* The inevitable conflict before the resolution and happily ever after was silly. These two adults (again mainly Cade) just needed to sit down and have a grown up conversation. There was not one barrier in the way of them being together.
* Cade moving all his shit out of her house and leaving her a four line note was a dick move and should not have been so easily forgiven.
The Ugly
* Ivy is a curvy woman that leads to all sorts of name calling and fat shaming. I felt like this was never really addressed in how it made Ivy feel.
* The fat shaming was used as a potential conflict in the romance which is not ok. It was NOT anything to do with the growth of a character.
* Regina Kyle goes to some lengths to say that Ivy had changed, lost some weight, doesn't care anymore. She explicitly says that the abuse she has suffered from others is wrong. Then, in what was really poor judgement, she has Ivy get wedged in a cat flap. It requires four or five people to get her out, including pushing her butt through. It completely shamed the character and undermined the message. I didn't like it at all.
Overall
Triple Dare was interesting and enjoyable enough to get through if you are looking for an easy read with little depth. -
Pirmiausia, tai pagrindinės veikėjos charakteris ir gyvenimas - beveik identiškas man. Lengva buvo įsijausti. Trūksta tik tokio gražuolio gero draugo. :D o šiaip, vėl lengvas smagus 'romaniūkštis'. Pats tas prieš kibant į rimtesnę knygą.

This book was a great read. Ivy and Cade have known each other practically their whole lives. Cade is Ivy’s twin brother Gabe’s best friend; she was just the sister that tagged along all the time and never backed down from a dare. Now they are all grown up and Ivy has come back to town to help with the family business after her father had a heart attack. She is asked to take over photographing the firefighters for their annual calendar. This brings Cade and Ivy together again and starts then down a path Ivy has wished for a long time. This leads to a dare and a dare leads to more. Ivy has never backed down from a dare in her life. Owing Cade for a dare that was never completed in high school she agrees to help him get rid of a clingy ex by pretending to be his new girlfriend. This works for Ivy as she has had a crush on Cade since high school. She hopes to get rid of the ex and make Cade see her as more than a friend for once. It works Cade is beginning to seeing Ivy as more than just his best friend’s sister. Will things lead to more for them or will the fact that Ivy could leave any day make things harder than they have to be? Cade is worried at first about what Gabe will think but then as he begins to feel more for Ivy he worries about her leaving and if he is worth asking her stay. She deserves the world and more than he can offer her, but does Ivy want the world or just Cade in hers? This book was a fun read. The characters are fantastic and not just Cade and Ivy either. I loved Cade’s friends at the fire house. I felt bad for Ivy after reading about how she was treated in school. She stayed away because of them and then missed out on her family because of it. Cade is like most guys oblivious until its right there in front of him and then he notices. He feels bad for not doing more for Ivy when they were in school. But, truthfully I don’t think Ivy let anyone know how bad it was. I haven’t read the first two books but I have put them on my TBR list after reading this book. Reading about how Ivy and Cade came together was great and there story was kind of all over the place. I look forward to reading more books by Regina Kyle in the future.
I was given this book in return for an honest review. -

Charity
Firefighter
From fashion photography to charity calendars, this photographer will find out what firefighters have to offer
Globe-trotting fashion photographer Ivy Nelson is home to help her family out of a jam. When she donates her services to a charity calendar, the last thing she expects is hunky firefighter—and object of all her hottest fantasies—Cade Hardesty to walk through the door. Cade is ready to get naked for a good cause, and the heat Ivy feels is anything but professional.
When a sexy dare turns into a scorching kiss, they can't help but give in to their desires. But Cade wants Ivy in his bed for more than one night. Can the hometown firefighter convince the photographer that her wanderlust should lead her into his arms for good, or will one of them run before they both get burned? (Amazon Blurb)
This is what women dream of when they think about firefighters: cut, strong, protective and so very tempting to the skeptical. For once the calendar that we’ll pick up from the stand, the men that will be thumbed through will be those straight out of women’s fantasies. Ivy is hilarious – she doesn’t hold herself back from saying what she needs or wants to say – she is also passionate, artistic and caring but does not want forever. On the flipside, Cade is a man who protects, is a man who doesn’t believe in right now, but in forever. Regina Kyle’s novel was simply put, hot!! I loved the dynamic between Cade and Ivy, their banter, the easiness in which they can speak with each other and the chemistry that made me wish I could become Ivy for some time. I must admit that considering Triple Dare is part of the Harlequin line, in a store, I never would have thought to look at it, however having had the chance to receive a copy from the author I must admit that I have been reminded that you can’t judge a book by its cover.
**Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Read and reviewed by Kathleen for Alpha Book Club** -
This was a cute book. I enjoyed the story line about finding love when you least expect it. Loving your brothers best friend seems to never be easy or attainable.
Ivy and Cade had been friends since kindergarten. Always hanging out and causing a little trouble here and there. She had a crush on him for the longest time. But realizing that nothing would happen, Ivy moved on with her life and got out of town. Returning home for visits and nothing else.
Now she was home for a visit and was asked to finish a charity calendar. With Cade being Mr. December. The story starts off with a bang. Not having seen it each other for twelve years. Those years have been good for both. Ivy now comfortable with herself and Cade finally seeing her as a woman.
When Cade dares Ivy to pretend to be his girlfriend to get another woman off his back, he never expected to actually have feelings for her. Well his "dare" went as well as he thought and now the two are spending a lot of time together. And of course sparks fly, things happen, and they decided to hide it from everyone. When Cade gets hurt, he moves in with Ivy, since he can't climb stairs in a cast. All is going well until they get caught red handed, literally in the middle of the act, by her brother Gabe. I definitely had a laugh out loud moment. So they get caught, they still have to deal with the crazy ex, who thinks she is better than everyone, and then Ivy's boss calls with a job she just can't refuse. Or can she?
While thinking about whether or not she wants to stay home for love and possibly being a photographer in her home town, Cade makes that decision for her. How he does that I won't tell though. Can what happen possibly be the end of the "dare"? Or does everything work out for both Cade and Ivy? -

Thoughts At One In The Morning.
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed Regina Kyle's Triple Time, the second book in The Art of Seduction series, so I knew the third book would be right up my alley. As soon as Ivy and Cade stepped on the page, I was all in. She's helping out a photographer by taking pictures of Cade for a calendar. They've been friends for years, but there's an extreme attraction on both sides and they use that to their advantage. He's trying to keep a girl who's been following him around from bothering him, so Ivy says she'll come with him to make it seem like he's taken. After an unfortunate accident, Cade ends up with a broken leg and stays with Ivy while he recovers. Their chemistry is bumped up even higher and there's no telling where it could lead.
Triple Dare was such a sweet and sexy story! I'm always a fan of friends becoming more than friends, and heroines who own who they are, and this story had both. Cade was so super swoonworthy, I wanted to snuggle with him. All that talk of him cuddling a kitten and then saving one just makes me fall for him even more. An absolute must read for those who love steamy romances with sweet heroes and strong heroines!
My Rating: Very Good -
Ivy Nelson returns to her small town home to help her family. She offers to step in and do some photography for a local 'hot firefighters' calendar to raise money for a needy project. The hunky fireman who shows up, ready to show every inch of his bare body for a good cause is Cade Hardesty (great name!). Cade's best friend is Ivy's brother. Neither knew they'd be seeing the other, espcially not like this. But they discover that they each have a desire for the other, but Cade has to fight off the feeling that he's putting his strong friendship with Ivy's brother in danger.
I really liked a number of aspects of this story. First...Ivy wasn't always the hot damsel that every guy wanted in school. In fact she was the chunky girl. Even now she is described as average body in appearance. So Cade's desire for her is more than just a physical lust after a perfect body. Ivy, on the other hand, is pretty much first drawn to this hunky hot firefighter flesh. But the fact that they have a history, albeit a platonic one, helps their relationship grow.
These characters are really easy to be attracted to and to root for, which is what you want in just about any book, really. Everything felt very real here.
I would have liked a little more steam with their intimate moments, but overall I'm ready to read more by Regina Kyle. -
I have loved this series from Regina Kyle, and Triple Dare did not disappoint. In fact, I think it may be my favorite of the three! I truly love Regina's easy to read yet clever writing style, and her characters leap off the pages and into your heart. Ivy and Cade's chemistry is what dreams are made of. Regina is a master at writing smoking hot yet realistic sex scenes, all the while bringing the emotions of the characters to the forefront.
Ivy is a heroine we can all relate to. She's beautiful, yes. But she isn't a stick-thin model type, and has had insecurities about her body image all her life. She is real and down to earth, and has been in love with Cade since childhood. Cade is the chiseled firefighter of our dreams, with a heart of gold. And what makes him even more lovable is his own insecurities over his learning disability and the value he places on his friendship with Ivy. They are two people who truly belong together ~ and when they are together, it's as good as it can possibly get!
I smiled throughout Cade and Ivy's journey to true love. Thanks for another great read, Regina! -
Triple Threat is the first book that I read by Regina Kyle, and I LOVED it!
Ivy Nelson was made fun of about her weight and looks all through school. When she graduated High School, she left and never looked back. Now she's a successful globe trotting fashion photographer, when a family emergency calls her home. While she's there, she donates her services to help with a charity calendar. The last thing she wants is a photo shoot with yummy fireman, Cade Hardesty, who she had a crush on all through school. A dare leads to a HOT kiss, and they give in to the spark. Cade decides he wants Ivy in his bed for good, but will he convince her to not run again?
I loved this fast paced story so much. The character development is great, with a well written story line that flows well. An instant spark between the characters flew out of my kindle, which led to some HOT sexy scenes. The author's talented writing style had me physically empathizing with Ivy's pain that she's carried around so long. I was captivated from beginning to end, and I really wanted more. Overall, a sweet and sexy second chance at love story that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -
Triple Dare, the third in the Art of Seduction series by Regina Kyle has surpassed even my expectations. Fabulous! I loved the first two but Kyle just seems to get better and better as she goes along. I love seeing snippets of characters from the first two books but the hero and heroine of this book can stand all on their own. The banter and chemistry between them is great and shows the friendship they've had over the years. Now that friendship is tested by feelings they've never dreamed of having.
Kyle has a nice writing style that is edgy, sassy and hot. Her characters are well fleshed out and she makes you feel like you've known them forever. Along with the steamy sex and out of this world chemistry between the main couple, you see warmth and tenderness and a deep love that manages to push all the conflict out of the way to make room for a relationship you know will last.
I think she has even more books coming out soon and I know I'll be first in line to get them. Romance never looked so good! -
There's a lot of light hearted banter, smoking hot firefighters, and meddling family members in the fun tale.
I liked the story, the way it was written, and the characters were charming, likable, and easy to relate to. Ivy had had her weight issues before, and went through a lot in the small town with mobbing and bullying. Cade had his issues with his parents and dyslexia.
There wasn't much originality in the plot - the firefighter calendar shoot for charity, best friend's twin sister, crush since childhood, staying in her house because of an accident, fake relationship turning into more, lot of the elements are well used in the romance novels, but the voice and tune of the tale are fresh, entertaining.
There are some majorly swoon worthy moments with the romance, and the sexy scenes are smoking hot, well written, and more about the feelings than step by step action. I loved that.
If you like sexy firefighters, romance that makes you sigh, and laugh while reading, you will enjoy this story every moment

This book has two of my favorite book troupes friends to lovers and best friend's sister. So I knew right off the bat I was going to like this one. This is the first book I've read by Regina Kyle and I must say it won't be the last. I was easily snared by this book and I didn't want to put it down. I really like Regina's writing style. The characters were just great. Both Cade and Ivy were very likable and they had some awesome chemistry once they got their heads on straight to take the leap. One scene that really got my attention is the photo shoot right in the beginning of the book. You can already see the sparks flying for these two characters. I liked Ivy because I could relate to her. I've been in her shoes in school. What's not to like about Cade he's a hunky fireman who has grown up for the better since Ivy and his school days. These two find themselves in a sticky situation because they are friends plus Cade is best friends to Ivy's twin brother. They can't deny their passion for one another, but what outside the bedroom? Can they make a go of it?

A sizzling hot fireman ... yes please! And not only is he hot, but he's adorably sweet too!
Ivy Nelson returns home after years of roaming the globe as a fashion photographer to help her parents out after a medical crisis. While there, she's filling in for the town photographer, Hank, who is out with an injury. Her first agenda is to finish up a calendar that's proceeds will go to the local animal shelter. And the fireman left to photograph is Mr. December.
Cade Hardesty is easy on the eyes to photograph and Ivy loves busting his chops while doing it. Cade has been her twin brother Gabe's best friend since kindergarten and they all three grew up together. What no one knows though, is that Ivy has been secretly in love with Cade that whole time.
When circumstances put them in close quarters, they can no longer resist the attraction between them. Will they be able to walk away after their fun is over, or will they decide to try to make a relationship work?
