I like it. It had the most random info ever! Like ... when a witch drinks a potion, its nose sticks out. See RANDOM!!!!!!!!!! I liked it a bunch. :-)

It's an okay guide, but nothing special. For this type of material, an A-Z encyclopedia isn't really the best format. It would be better to have sections grouped by topicality. That way, if you wanted to - for example - lookup how to get to the final area, you could just go to the section on the end of the game and not have to look up The End, then End Portals, then strongholds, and so on and so until you've backtracked to a starting point.

The book also sells itself as having "tips and tricks the official guides don't teach you". This is far from the case as most entries are just very basic descriptions. Additionally, the tips usually take up space that would be better used for a more detailed explanation of the basics.

It's not a bad book by any means, it just doesn't have much to make it stand out among the hundred million other Minecraft books out there.

My son loves Minecraft and has been teaching me and my husband how to play. He already knew most of the info in this book, but it has been quite educational for me and my husband as we are learning the ins and outs of playing with our son.

While there are some good tips included, the A-Z format isn't the best way to organize the information.
