I met Cassandra when I interviewed people living in D/s relationsships for a german project titled Master is dark. It was her masters idea to feature her diary and share it with other people who might be in the same situation. Or not. All names and places are changed to protect the identity of the couple and their daughter. I am an erotic fiction writer and it was a very intersting project to portrait a real D/s relationship and not just make one up in my mind. I learned a lot from the two lovebirds and enjoyed writing - well, most of my work was editing Cassandras work, actually. This is a short story written in the form of a diary. Cassandra's purpose in writing this diary is to show how parents can still be kinky. This very first one details punishment for not doing what was expected of her from her Master.
The BDSM in this story is mixed for me. Personally, I do not agree with punishment doled when the dominant is angry. At the same time I understand this is supposed to reflect real life and this probably happens more oft than in scripted fictional erotica. The BDSM is pretty straight forward. The writing does come across as telling since it is in diary format.
As a chronicles of a sex slave who is now a mommy, it is enjoyable. Once I read all three parts, I will be able to assess the writing better. The sampling here is small and whilst they are few error, the writing style is not engaging. It is almost an example of a journaling assignment.
