    Prince of the Cartel

This was a well written read that didn't have many issues for the most part. I did feel some parts could've been left out though. The spoken words were meaningful but with so many doing their own things they failed to take heed to any of it. Trap was too spoiled and I honestly think he should've found something else to do with his life instead of trying to fill Thad's shoes. Even though Wisdom had faced so much, he still tried giving Trap things to think about. The twins are reckless and bound to be the cause of their own downfall. For some reason I feel like Misha is suspect and she's not really who she claims to be. Hopefully Trap can get it together because Nia deserves so much more. Pearl is cool but her secret, even though understandable could've been handled differently. Smh at the mayor because I know he'll probably have the same fate as so many others. I'm hoping part 2 won't include any unnecessary moments and will answer much more. Who's responsible for the ending, will the truth finally be revealed to Murdock, have friends and family truly become enemies, and will the supposed Prince find his way before it's too late?

I enjoyed reading this story. The overall plot was intriguing however you get lost in the moments of spoken word. You are introduced to alot of players within the story so it takes a moment to catch up. The story is along the lines of a drug dealer son who has to choose to follow in his fathers' footsteps or stroke out on his own. He is in a constant battle of good vs bad, family vs foe. What will be his choice? That is where you will have to read part 2 to find out. There was some minor grammatical errors but not enough to stop reading. I look forward to reading part 2. This is a author to be on the lookout; his work will get better and better. I would recommend this book.

I couldnt get into this book. It wasnt bad but it wasnt great either. There was to much going on and now that ive finished the book nothing tied the story together. Nothing was really revealed as to why the characters did certain things. The story has potential. I started to get into it a bit more towards the end but again i was left hanging with more questions. I am low-key curious as to what happens next but im undecided as to whether i will read the next book

This my first time reading a book by this author is say I will continue to read his work. I love books like this just on writing good book u got a supporter for life. Trap is really going to becoming out character now sense Nia and his been shook up. I think Misha is under cover or snitch I don't like her at all.

I have mixed reviews about this book. I love that the author represented my hometown of Miami. I just knew it was going to be a great read. I was disappointed because D. Hunter didn't keep the story interesting. I applaud him for his attempt, but the storyline was mediocre.

    Good Book

I really enjoyed this book and the characters were off the hook, but I felt like something was missing. I hope the next installment is better.
