This is a most enjoyable series with strong characters. It can be a bit hard to sort out all the people unless you begin by fixing them firmly in your mind right at the start - and it's best to begin with book 1 as that way you are introduced gradually.
I am just so glad there are so many books to read before they run out. -
Dark subject matter, but a very good read
Believable and interesting characters, set into solid plots and fascinating locations - often ending with a surprise villain. This series a fast and entertaining read. -
Really enjoying this series by this author. Best yet and on to the next.

Good characters it was quite an interesting concept and I was sort of surprised at the out come. I had chosen someone else entirely for the villain
I haven't read any of her prior books but the history wasn't beefed so for next seven words, please enjoy -
3.5 stars. I think the author is doing much better with character development as this series progresses. However, I was a bit disappointed with how the murder mystery played out.
