Is any sacrifice too great for the Kingdom of Light? Marriage and motherhood brings happiness beyond Shana’s expectations. Safe in her small agricultural community, the recent outbreak of persecution against the ‘followers of the Way’ in Jerusalem is distant enough not to affect her, and she is determined to keep it that way. Little does she know, she is about to walk through the fire. How much is she prepared to suffer on behalf of another? Things get dangerous when an ambitious young man crosses her path, especially as he holds the key to her future. To survive, she must employ all her feminine wiles. In spite of her imperfect pursuit of the Master, his exceeding grace sustains her in her darkest hour. But when it’s all over, she is yet to find out whether love still remains

WOMAN OF METTLE: Biblical fiction (Woman of Spirit Book 2) Reviews

A sequel to Woman of Clay – another compelling read by the author of Woman of Clay, Linda Caddick.

A truly riveting story, the reader becomes part of the ‘adventure’, feeling every emotion and physical anguish of the characters in this book. Another exceptionally well written narrative with skilfully selected prose.

The author is passionate about her writing and it is evident in the way she creates great characters, great plots and great action. She is fast becoming a writer worthy of recognition.

Linda captivates her readers enticing them to continue non-stop to the very last page. You won’t be able to put it down.

What an exceptional read! One of those authors who has surpassed her first book with her second (only just though as her first book is still a favourite). Suspense enough to hold your breath at the turn of each page. Read it twice! Really enjoyed this book, thank you!

So much thrill and excitement! But through it all Christ is the centre. Would recommend it to anyone. Loved it

    This book is under rated.

This book kept me really engrossed I could not put it down. The author goes deep in the character s mind and has a knack for words...most times managing to put in simple terms feelings I go through myself.
I d recommend this book to Christians as I doubt non religious people can understand the spiritual depth and wisdom in this book.
