    Another winner from Matt!

Shame on the diet industry spouting that tired bologna that six-pack abs and low carb/low fat/low enjoyment diets are the keys to health and happiness. You ever met one of those shredded, not an ounce of body fat, lifting 6 days a week "brah," gym living, shake guzzling, "curls for the girls," kind of guys? They're miserable as shit and as aggressive as a gaggle of silver back gorillas. Starvation does funny things to your overall sense of calm and well being; funny things like beat it to death with plain, brown rice and chicken breast! Yuck!

I read my first Matt Stone book about 6 months ago: 5lbs heavier and a hell of a lot nicer, I really don't miss killing myself at the gym 5x per week and subsisting on as few calories as possible. I don't lose my rational mind and go on 12-hour, cram your head with as much junk food as possible binges after 2 weeks on a "bro diet," anymore either. I completed a 2 month RRAARF and now (even though I make a conscious effort to eat mainly unprocessed foods) no food is off limits so my cravings are nil. If you have no idea the meaning of what I just wrote, check out Matt's other books, Diet Recovery 1 and 2, Eat For Heat and How to Turn Your Kids Into Food Ninjas.

Vanity is not worth your sanity - or your quality of life, happiness, satisfaction, overall sense of wellbeing, etc. Eat the food! Be happy! Read Matt's books - he wants you to find your food nirvana and...he's hilarious to boot!

Gotta love a title that rhymes! And gotta love reading (listening) to Matt Stone. This book is full of simple ideas for mood stabilization that some people may find helpful. I know that since I started eating pancakes and ice cream again, I've felt better!

After telling a story about his grandfather who was hooked up to a bag of saline solution in the hospital and the same hospital brought him a plate of low sodium food... "In case you ever wondered if the medical industry at large was confused now you have proof. Actually, it appears the medical industry is doing alright. It's the Nutritionistas (intentional spelling) that are confused. Come to think of it, the problem is not that they are confused, it's that they aren't confused. How can you be certain about something that there are few if any definitive answers about?"

This book is a great read for someone looking for ways to improve their mood or lessen depression and anxiety. I like Matt's teaching style - he's hilariously funny but what I also like is he's humble and not dogmatic about his opinions. He merely offers advice and I would say sound advice. He also provides solutions beyond nutrition. Set out in a logical, simple and to-the-point way, the reader will glean valuable advice from a short read. I think everyone needs to read this to improve emotional stability.

This may be my favorite book of Matt's and in a big fan of his work. His solution is simple and mostly common sense but this book contains some gems too.
