*This is a two part series, both parts are now available. This is the second part**
You know how it went for me.
You know what he did.
You know the fire he left inside my soul when he crushed me into a thousand tiny pieces.
Since Marcus, my life has been a blur of emptiness.
Since Marcus there has been nothing.
I’m alone, my Mom is dwindling and I feel nothing but emptiness. I work long, I work hard, but why? There’s no longer anything to fight for.
I know I have to face him. I know I have to go back. To fix my life, I have to break my ties to him.
Seeing Marcus again will destroy me, but it’s time to finish this.
I don’t expect the bitter, twisted emotions I’ll feel when I see him again, and when I lose everything once more, because of him, the only thing on my mind is revenge.
But how do you hurt someone you still love so deeply?
How can I still care for a monster? How can he still make me feel?
Our story is the most complicated of them all, it’s far from beautiful, it’s far from perfect, it’s just a twisted mess of emotion that neither of us knows how to fix.
But we will fix it. You’ll see.
Contains Adult Content. No Cliffhanger. HEA.

** 3,5-4 "love clouds so much" STARS **“There is no worse feeling in the world than PAIN. Not pain from wound, or an injury, but pain from having your heart broken. Pain is something you can’t describe until it delves into your soul and imbeds itself.”
Marcus Tandem sent his wife away, heartbroken and ruined, hating him. It was what he wanted. For the first time in his sorry excuse of a life, he wanted to do the right thing and let this pure woman go... But seeing the look on her face when she walked out on him switched something inside him, making him wish he never said all those hurtful things.
He's been looking for her ever since. Desperately trying to find her, explain everything, help her lick her wounds and make sure she still loves him like before. All he wants is his wife back. And he will do anything to keep her this time.
Katia Tandem's heart has been shattered and scattered in the wind, leaving her hollow and lost. It's been 2 years since that dreadful day her husband, the love of her life, took the remaining light inside her and pushed her into a pit of darkness and despair. But still, she can feel the same pain every single day. All this time, Marcus never chased her, never tried to call, never tried to find her. He just let her go and moved on with his life. It's time for Katia to do the same: Go back, face her problems and put Marcus in the past once in for all!
Katia is back now and she can't believe it when she finds him just the way she's left him! Still wealthy. Still devastatingly gorgeous. Still proudly standing. How dare he be happy? How dare he have a good life while she's been suffering all along? How dare he enjoy his life after destroying hers?
Bitterness clouds Katia's soul and all she wants to do is dump it all on Marcus now! Make him pay. Make him taste his own medicine. Make him feel the same PAIN.
WHY NOT 5 STARS?
1# // Something was off about the plot. I didn't like the fact that Marcus and Katia kept randomly coming upon each other at bars and clubs. A little bit unrealistic, huh?
2# // KATIA!
I can't believe the girl I liked very much in Book#1 could earn my hatred this fast! GOSH I wanted to smack her on the nose dozens of times! She made A LOT OF mistakes. Some unforgivable for me... I won't get into detail, because for once I'm not in the mood for a full-blown rant today, but let's just say that SHE'S A GODDAMN B*TCH for what she was planning to do. I am being very nice and polite here too. She deserves much worse. Believe me.
OVERALL: Despite coming off sorta weak after Book#1, I have to say this was still a very enjoyable and angsty story, with two very complex characters. I would recommend it to everyone who feel like escaping into the world of indifferent husbands, their heartbroken & revenge-seeking wives and a world of hurt and tears! ;)

**Warning: My review contains major spoilers!**
I can honestly say this is the first time where in book one I was left loving the heroine and fully on her side to hating her within the first ten percent of book two.
This book begins two years after Katia left Marcus. She took her mother, cut herself off from Marcus, and disappeared with only her friends Josh and Candy knowing her whereabouts. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this but it's not just Katia and her mom stubbornly living in poverty. Marcus and Katia have a daughter. Penny. Just because Katia doesn't want to see Marcus again she's selfishly keeping Penny from knowing Marcus (like her mother did with her and Pierre) and she's denying Penny the safety and comforts that Marcus's money would provide. Or Pierre's for that matter. She's refusing ALL help. Grr...
When Katia is finally convinced to return and face Marcus the story gets even more ridiculous. She's incredulous when she sees Marcus with another woman, even though he claims there hasn't been anyone else since she left. In two years? I call bullshit. There's a very predictable nightclub scene and a very OTT scene involving Katia's mother, which I'll admit made me tear up a bit because it reminded me of my own regrets.
Now here's the kicker. Katia is so outraged over her mother and she blames Marcus that she actually hires a hitman to take care of him. Get this - she approaches Marcus's friend, Mack, to direct her to a hitman! And then she's surprised that Marcus found out about it! For real?!
Katia has thoroughly destroyed Marcus at this point and not in the fun way that he deserves. And he still doesn't know about Penny yet!
Jewel did a complete one-eighty with this book. I loved part one and I was expecting Katia's resistance/Marcus's groveling but I didn't expect to hate the characters and the plotline so much. Very disappointing. -
5 "devastating" stars from me...
Oh, my Gosh!!! That book was... so intense!!!!
Ugh!!! I think I just run out of words!!!
The second part of this series was way much better than the first book...
But what a mess, my goodness!!!!
I'm still shaking from the intension that this book built inside of me.
I think i lost my mind... All the feelings inside me are upside down at this moment....
But let me explain you what happened...
Marcus was feeling guilty for the way that he treated to Katia and he was living in pure despair without her....
I know that Marcus was an asshole in the beginning, but his pain ripped my heart out of my chest....
Oh my God!!! That was so difficult for me to accepted it... Katia's loss totally crushed him!
At the same time, Katia was struggling with her own pain from Marcus betrayal... She run away and she was trying to survive on her own...
There was too much pain that I felt it through my bones...
And one day Katia decided that it was time to get back and clear the things between her and Marcus...
She have to continue with her life, but Marcus was determined at least to explain her the reasons that led them in this dead end and to let her know about the feelings that he finally develop for her....
But she didn't let him.... and then came the angry!!!
Okay!!! I know that she was having every right after the way he treated her but he never gave up on her.... He trully was lost without her....
And then happened something terrible that brings Katia down in her knees and she accused Marcus for that fact...
A fact that made her numb, filled her with hate and lead her to an awful decision that really shocked me...
At that point, i was afraid for the person that she became....
It was a really ugly situation.... She turned to a worst monster than Marcus before....
"I hope you’re truly proud of everything you’ve become, Katia. I might be a monster, but you’ve outdone me. You can’t judge me when you’re equally as evil."
I still can't believe what she was having in her mind....
I couldn't accepted... and i was anxious, furious and devastated at the same time...
Yes, she finally did it!!! She crushed him so badly, but with what cost of her own soul?????
For once again, the ache in my heart was deep and almost unbareable....
And it wasn't just that....
You see, Katia was keeping a major and important secret from him...
A secret that finally brought him on his knees and shattered his soul for good!!!!
Phew!!!!That book turned me in a wreck train.....
I was feeling like an empty shell... The pain drenched my soul and left me breathless....
Oh, my God!!!I still can not put myself together, even though at the end we were having the absolute ressuraction!!!!
Yeah, as you hear!!! Marcus have to give up everything to become the right man for his family and that was amazing!!!! Finally, the smile returned to my face....
Yep, that end was so right!!! Just perfect...
I also have to tell you that i enjoyed the fact that Katia finally met her father and her brothers and she got through all this messed up situation with lovely and caring people that stood beside her, like steady rocks for her... and not just her family, but also her friends....
Finally, i want to say that when your feelings are real you have to fight for the person that you love...
I really admired Marcus guts at the end...
Because you need strength to do what he did and to sacrifice every single thing that you fought about all of your life in the name of love....

He took my life.

I AM SO GLAD THAT I WAITED FOR THIS TO BE RELEASED BEFORE STARTING THIS SERIES! My heart could not have handled it if I had to wait for this to be released. As soon as I finished the first; I was already onto the second. Talk about PLOT TWIST! I cried quite a bit in this one too HOWEVER tears of joy included. I also laughed quite a bit too; I loved the additional characters (COUGH MOSTLY Katia's SCRUMPTIOUS BROTHERS) and hope they get a book too?! I really fell in love with this book .. I didn't think it was possible to love itas much asthe first. I do RECOMMEND especially because it's a quick read (QUALITY OVER QUANTITY), no cliffhanger, HEA (DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER), Marcus (WE ALL WANT A PIECE OF THAT.. HELLO NEW BOOK BOYFRIEND), and of course the plot (BRILLIANT..YOU DID GOOD
Bella Jewel).
What is it you want from me?
he rasps, his voice suddenly broken.
What do you want?
Do you want me on my fuckin' knees?
he drops to his knees and my heart rips open.
He lifts his hands and clutches his head.
Do you want me to tell you
how fuckin' stupid I am?
How I wished it never happened?
How I fell in love with a fuckin' angel
and then I destroyed her?
Do you want me to beg, Katia?
What do you want?
Do you want me dead?
Will that make your heart feel fucking better?

I didn't enjoy this as much as book 1. There was a lot that happened that seemed so out of character, and it was all from Katia. This is going to be long, so I do apologize lol
We are back into this toxic world and Katia has been for nearly 2 years. And surprise she had a child, Penny, who is almost 1 years old. After the events of book 1 Katia moved along with her mother to a faraway place and works as a waitress and lives in a shitty apartment barely making any money. She has not spoken to Marcus or her father since that day and only her two closest friends know her location.
Marcus has NO idea that Penny exists, and I understand why Katia kept the truth from him, he doesn't deserve to know about their daughter as he made it abundantly clear to her that Katia meant nothing and was nothing more than a contract. Katia hates him and wants him to pay for the pain he caused her.
We get to Marcus's POV and we first see him in the past right after Katia left and he is desperate to find her, he puts money in her account but it bounces signaling she closed it and left town. He cannot find her, and nobody truly wants to help him as he dug his own grave and they think he basically deserves to lose her after what he did.
Eventually Katia comes back to divorce Marcus and get help from her father when it comes to her mother, who is suffering and going through more illnesses and is possibly dying. Pierre (her father) immediately leaves and joins her to take care of her and lets Katia go to deal with her marriage situation.
Katia returns and Marcus refuses to divorce her without them speaking and having an actual conversation, he doesn't take no for an answer and Katia is desperate for it all to end.
I should briefly mention that back in book 1 Katia finds out she has 3 half-brothers, and they seem to have warmed up to her and help her with her problems.
We find out that Marcus has been celibate since she has left and loves her still. He never lost his business since Walter died and I think we can all agree that Marcus probably put a hit on him since it was hinted. Katia is enraged to find out he has not suffered or paid any of his dues in the last two years.
Despite her hatred she cannot help but want him still and they have sex. This causes even more tension between them, and she refuses to even allow anything more happen.... note, Marcus is still unaware of them having a daughter.
We also find out that back when Marcus was drinking himself to the ground after she left, he was drugged and almost raped by a woman. Thankfully he wakes up and wants nothing to do with her and is saved by his friend who kicks her out.
Now to the part where Katia becomes a shell of herself, her mother has a stroke and on her way to the airport Marcus finds her and stops her from getting on the plane and she ends up missing it. She takes the next one an hour later but informs him about her mother. He feels like shit and Katia arrives at the hospital 15 mins too late, her mother has passed.
She is numb and emotionless. She refuses to see any good or light in her life and turns to drastic measures, she searches for a hitman to kill Marcus...that was insane to me. So out of character and it made it super cheap in my eyes. He of course finds out and is disturbed by what Katia has become and thankfully she realizes it and stops it from happening, even though the guy she found knew it would never happen.
Marcus finds out about Penny and it's not going well, he is absolutely distraught she kept their daughter from him, and he is hurt. He doesn't like what Katia has turned into but despite it, he falls for his little girl and wants her in his life.
Eventually, Marcus comes to terms that their marriage needs to end and signed the divorce papers. Katia signs as well but she doesn't realize what he plans, and it was supposed to be vague, but it was also obvious to me.
He wanted to get rid of everything connected to the people they were before and start anew.
He sold his business, the house. He got himself an apartment and found a new job. He comes back to Katia and pretending they are meeting for the first time; he reveals he wants to be better people and better versions of themselves.
They get back together and 6 months later are once again married.
I wanted more from this book, I think it went downhill when Katia looked for a hitman and actually PAID him to get it done. Marcus has had a lot of issues, but I also saw his growth in this book and his love for her. He was absolutely DEVASTATED as we see about her being gone and all he wanted was her back, desperately looking for her.
I feel like Marcus moved forward with his mistakes and became a better version of himself while Katia (in a way understandable with her trauma and loss of her mother) turns into another version and needed more of help becoming the woman she used to be.
Also, I wish we had gotten more of an explanation about the two-woman (different occasions) Katia saw him with when he revealed it was just business, I wanted more information, even from his POV? I know he was not cheating or even attempting to, so it was an annoying addition to the story and only stirring the pot for no reason also what was the significance of the red tie he used to wear all the time to now wearing a blue tie? -

TITLE: 'Til Death, Volume Two ('Til Death, #2)
AUTHOR: Bella Jewel
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
RELEASE DATE: January 10th 2015
MY RATING: ★★★★
A heartfelt ending to this rollercoaster of a journey!! And thank f*ck we got our HEA!! Took a while but we got it!!
The first book I felt empathy towards Katia (Yes she did marry a douchebag) this one she kind of got on my nerves, I felt like she just needed to suck it up and carry on with life, we've all no doubt in our lives suffered a broken heart, it's not killed us, but she just seemed to thrive on the shit life threw at her..I felt like jumping in the book and shaking her. BUT that is just my opinion!!
He married me as a business contract
Now let me talk about Marcus he's a different kettle of fish entirely, we established in book #1 that he was a drop kick douchebag in this book he stepped up a few rungs in the ladder as he tried to right all the wrongs he'd committed and I kind of liked his character more in this book!!
I set her free. I gave her a life without me
Shattered That's what happened to my heart the day Marcus Tandem broke it. There is nothing but a gaping, aching hole in my chest. He BROKE me. My soul is a bottomless pit. He NEVER chased me, he NEVER called, he NEVER divorced me. He just let me go!!
VENGEANCE
I fell in love with a cold-hearted monster. He took my life. He lost nothing, when I lost everything.
A HIRED HITMAN
Our entire marriage was built on a foundation of lies, it's unsteady and dangerous.
Even though I didn't full out love this book I did enjoy it.. -
The drama llama runs wild and free with this one. Sequel to
'Til Death: Volume One, it ups the ante in ridiculousness. Premise is in the first book the cold-hearted H cold-bloodedly marries the fun, warm-hearted h in order to get his grandfather's company. Yep, an old HP trope standby. The h finds out about the clause at the end of book one which ends with her emotionally broken as the H decides to do her a favor and kick her to the curb so she can be free of his toxicness as he has now fallen in love with her. Yawn.
This book starts up with her in a miserable job taking care of her brain damaged mother and her secret baby plot moppet. The H has been searching for her and apparently needs a better detective as despite being a billionaire/millionaire hires an incompetent that can't find her.
The h ends up with her charming but bad father and her equally charming but bad three half-brothers who need books. The H is desperate to get her back, but her heart has turned to stone and, gee, she simply doesn't buy that he is really in love with her.
Okay, when I say spoiler I mean SPOILERS!
Stars, mucho stars off, for the constant screaming: they scream during sex, they scream in rage, they scream in despair, they scream at each other. But a definite three stars for the fun rollercoaster of revenge, revenge sex, rinse and repeat. -
What a conclusion that was!!! Review to come!
I really enjoyed this one...Lots of surprises, and not all good! LOL -
I trashed the first book and I gave it a one star rating. That would be an indication that I probably wouldn't be continuing with the story. However, I was curious to see how things would end and if the author would be able to redeem herself and her characters.
Well...she didn't. Right from the beginning it was obvious that it was the same crap, different volume. Really, this series is probably the greatest crock of shit I've read in a while.
Ladies and gentlemen...fasten your seat belts because we're in for a hilariously emo ride.
It took literally the first word (Agony) and I was already rolling my eyes. This was exactly what I complained about in my first review. This author just illustrates everything as so completely OTT. It's such an over usage of OMG I'M SO BROKEN AND TIME HEALS NOTHING AND I CAN'T LIVE ON. At least the other book took time to get there...this one is that way from the very beginning. The entire prologue is literally I AM BROKEN and I AM NOTHING over and over and over again. It doesn't get better after that, either. Just like the first book, we literally cannot go a page without the author telling us how broken and damaged her characters are.
I hate, hate, haaaate characters that are written as becoming non-functioning human beings and that they pretty much cease to exist as people when someone in their life dumps them. This is old and tired and cliched. It's been lathered, rinsed and repeated hundreds of times over and this author brings nothing new to the table with it. I guess I shouldn't even be surprised that Bella Jewel also trots out the good ol' Secret Baby trope! And, of course, knowing how original the ideas of this book are, Katia is stubbornly struggling (because that's always a good choice when you have a sick mother and baby and have other options) to get by and has to have a man (her father) come to the rescue and bail her out of her terrible situation.
The characters do not change one bit between the first and second book with the two year span in between the them. Marcus is still a POS and Katia is still a pathetic excuse for a person.
Marcus's post-prologue introduction is him choking someone out and holding a gun to them. Yes, because that's going to make me think that YES, this motherfucker right here is sexy as hell with his violence and temper and shit. Also, when his friend suggests going after Walter for showing Katia the papers...what was Marcus's response?“She’s not going to know, so what does it matter?” I grunt.
Yes, because the only reason to ever do something for someone else is to want them to know and want their praise. Are you f'ing kidding me? But who am I kidding, right? It's as expected from a selfish ass like him.
Also, when Katia doesn't want to see him and sends her brother to send him away...what would be the best response to that? Oh, if you chose to walk away, as per their wishes...you'd be wrong! Obviously the logical response to someone not wanting to see you would be to break into their house anyway after beating up their brother! Because that's always so attractive, yeah? Oh, and telling her that “she doesn’t get a choice.”
Katia, on the other hand, is a terrible excuse for a mother and a selfish person. She spends more time wallowing in self-pity than taking care of her kid. I swear she spends like ninety-percent of the novel crying (and that might not even be an exaggeration). Look, crying in itself is not weak. We all need to do it once in a while. But to the limit that the author uses it? Just...wow. Katia is so weak and pathetic and is literally always crying. The number of times she cried is almost a joke, along with the number of times it's regurgitated over and over again how much pain and agony she's in and how no one ever will be able to understand it. Ridiculous.
When I say OTT, I mean things like:I blink the tears back. I want to reach into my chest and rip my own heart out. Not even that could hurt more.
The author also keeps having the characters tell us all of Katia's positives and praising her. Her mother, Cindy, Dusty, etc -- they're all "oh wow Katia you're so great and brave and amazing and a great mother and wow!" It's like...I get it okay. How about we try something new like showing me why she's all these great things instead of having all these characters tell me constantly? How about, instead of having everyone in her life reiterate the Praises of Katia, you, as the author, show me all the ways in which she isn't an insufferable and pathetic person?
Katia is also the type of person who just likes to bring others down. I get that people go through tough times and what not, but she literally cannot maintain a normal conversation without turning it into WOE IS ME. Her father was joking around with her in a carefree moment...and:“Wyatt and Landon are taking me out tonight.”
He groans. “You sure you want to do that?”
I laugh softly. “Sure, they’re my brothers.”
“They’re also rebels. Watch them; they’ll get you into trouble.”
“No more than I’ve managed to do all on my own,” I whisper.
She's like Drake-Lite.
The author also just can't have Katia having a fun time on her own for once. Literally anytime that she goes out clubbing, Marcus always ruins it -- both in this book and the previous one. Katia can't even go out one damn night without Marcus coming into the mix?? She's obviously not allowed to go out and have fun with her friends and/or brothers without having it turn into the Life and Times of Marcus Tandem.
Katia and Marcus are practically perfect for one another in this book. He's an asshole and she's a crazy bitch. He's violent and has a temper and she's always shrieking or screeching and being violent and thinking violently (this crazy bitch is all "I want to reach into my chest and rip my own heart out." and "I want to lunge forward and rip [his eyes] from their sockets.") towards Marcus. Neither knows the meaning of the word civility.
Actually, I take that back. He's worse than a piece of shit because forcefully kissing someone when they are literally fighting you -- legit physical -- is not attractive or sexy or anything positive, and is certainly not a quality a significant other should aspire to. I'm so sick of this type of bullshit. When someone is literally wrenching themselves away from you and you don't give -- that's sexual assault. And as much as Katia annoyed the hell out of me, no one deserves someone who assaults them and is abusive.
Legit, anyone who tries to justify this bullshit by saying that he was pushed to his limits by her or make up some other excuse -- just...no. Fuck no. Knowing that your significant other could even get rape-y when pushed to their limit? Fuck him and fuck you for trying to make up excuses to justify that shit.
This is another thing -- the author throwing in excuses for the behaviour of her characters.
Katia puts a hit out on Marcus and then regrets it after her family takes her to the cleaners (more than once). She does not snap out of this on her own and it takes her friends and family telling her like it is and reminding her that she's a mother and he's the father of her child for her to recall her child and call off the hit. Afterwards, everyone is making excuses for her behaviour. We have the characters telling her that "we make mistakes" and that they both did bad things. They tell her that it was a moment of weakness and when she was broken.
Are you kidding me? Are you seriously shitting me right now?
She put a hit out on another human being. She went out and found someone, paid them cold, hard cash that she got by lying and put a hit out on her husband. Why is this being excused by her friends and family and even Marcus, himself?? He takes it on himself and says that he "drove (her) to consider murder." That isn't normal behaviour, even when going through a breakdown! Why in the hell is this author trying to play this down? Scratching up his car or trashing his house would have been acceptable...but hiring a damn hitman? That shit isn't something you do cuz you're broken or weak or whatever. Why is the author absolving Katia of responsibility??
I was going to ask if this author was capable of writing a book chronologically, but then I realized why it wasn't published that way. Marcus does crappy things from the very first book, and he certainly doesn't change his ways here. We get these out-of-order chapters because the author wants us to show Marcus doing something shitty and then turn around and show us a moment in which he, too, has suffered.
The part where he breaks into Katia's house and beats up her brother? Of course it's followed by him having nightmares!
Then, we have Marcus force himself on Katia and fuck her while they're at the club and she's drunk off her ass (don't even argue that he didn't know -- he could probably taste it). The author follows this chapter with one of Marcus being drunk, drugged and being sexually assaulted, but stopping the person before things could proceed. The author also uses terminology that skews original events. Here, she says that Katia "walked out on [him]," when, in reality, he purposely chased her off.
The author purposely works these scenes in after moments where he displays less-than-savoury behaviour because she wants Marcus to act like an ass, but she doesn't want us to remember to hold it against him. She wants us to sympathize with Marcus by giving us these scenes instead of having Marcus work for forgiveness. This also works into my next point with Katia.
Katia puts out a hit on Marcus, and the only reason the author has Katia do this is because she wants to reduce Katia to Marcus's level because, otherwise, he's irredeemable. God forbid we have a character, who is in need of both forgiveness and redemption, stand up and own their shit and actually change, instead of making us pity them and sympathize with them. Heaven forbid we have a character that works for their damn redemption! Clearly the only way to redeem an irredeemable character is to have the other drop to their level so they're on level footing for their redemption and, then, the original POS doesn't need to work for it.

What on earth happened to book 2? Massive disappointment was a struggle to finish it! :(
-
I'm not going to do a full review on this one just yet..however I want to mention the fact that tissues are a MUST,
I have not cried this much in a very very long time..
This story broke me, Katia broke me, Marcus broke me and Bella's beautiful words broke me and now I am back to crying again... -
Re-read: 02.11.2016
The worst thing about this book is that it lost it's....tension? It's magic? It's hotness? I don't know... It has lost something at least. That I do know. Yes, there was more pain, more suffering, and even loss, but still, a certain person's reaction to the things that happened just ruined everything. It ruined how I normally would have felt, and made me feel different. Or more correctly: indifferent than I should. Our entire marriage was built on a foundation of lies, it's unsteady and dangerous.
I felt that Marcus lost his touch in this book. He became someone else from the first book (volume one) and that mean he's no longer the Marcus I fell in love with. Yes, he was cold, blank-faced, ruthless and all that, but we also got his POV which wasn't all that bad, and to be frankly honest: I loved his ruthlessness. I loved how he was, and I know that this series could have been waaaaaay better if Katia had been stronger.“How the hell have I been living in darkness while you’ve been dancing in light?”
She was adorable and naive in first book, but in this book? Annoying as fuck. Crying all the fucking time. Her numbness was just stupid and I wanted to bash her head against the table. Seriously, woman, get yourself together. Also, I had expected way more from this book, but unfortunately I didn't get it. Oh well, we can't always get what we want, can we?“I hope you’re truly proud of everything you’ve become, Katia. I might be a monster, but you’ve outdone me. You can’t judge me when you’re equally as evil.”

The main characters were very engaging and the back and forth between the couple in V1 kept the story line moving. Spicy sex scenes, excelent writing, lots of action, great story, all the right elements love-sex-drama-kid-plot twists-intense emotions. This had been the best of everything!! I loved it from start to finish and I highly recommend it!! -

Io non ho parole😳 meglio tacere🙈😂 -
Rispetto al primo un punto in più ma niente di che, non so l’età dell’autrice ma sembra scritto da una ragazzina. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Intense, Emotional And Hot As Hell!
When I saw that this book had been released I did a happy dance and immediately headed to Amazon.com to buy this baby! I have been impatiently awaiting it's release since the minute I finished Part 1. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
I fell in love with Marcus and Katia's story in Part 1. Their love was beautiful, and doomed from the start. When Marcus' deceit was brought out into the open, their relationship imploded. Knowing that it was just a matter of time didn't help lessen the devastation in the least, despite having tried to prepare myself for what I knew was coming all along.
After Marcus so callously broke her heart, Katia tries to start over. Understandably, she wants to get as far away from Marcus and the reminders of his betrayal as possible. She takes her mother and leaves town, leaving Marcus and everything else behind her.
Katia's new existence is a far cry from the life of luxury she'd lived before with Marcus. Working as a waitress and trying to provide the care her mother desperately needs, she's barely surviving. Yet, she is determined not to let Marcus taint the one remaining source of happiness left in her life.
Marcus has been searching for Katia since she left. Only realizing after he'd lost her how much he needed her, he lives with the guilt of a man that knows he's ruined the person he loved. He's haunted by his actions and I have to admit I enjoyed his suffering. After all, he had it coming!
When Katia's mother takes a turn for the worse, Katia is forced to reach out to her father and face everything she'd been running from. She's no longer the naive woman who was so easily lured into Marcus' twisted trap. This new Katia is bitter and out for revenge. Marcus will soon learn that the saying is true, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
Despite the devastation Marcus left in his wake, the intense heat between Katia and Marcus remains. Only this time, Katia feels equal parts of hate. He wants to win her back. She wants to crush him the way he crushed her.
The result, is a highly emotional and passionate story. In so few pages, Bella Jewel weaves one of the most intense love stories I've ever read. It is fast paced and gut wrenching. I was entranced by the story of Marcus and Katia from beginning to end. I devoured this book and wouldn't change a thing. Loved it! -
A lot of shenanigans going on in this book, too many. Lol.

Passionate, check. Intense, check. Crazily hot, double check.
Did it work for me? Mostly, yes.
After such a demanding cliffhanger this book does a great job. Maybe not perfect at some points but overall very good and decent. It captivated me right form the first word and had me all hot and bothered in so many occasions. How can i not end up, loving it even with its flaws?
Maybe i wasn't a big fan of Katia this time around and i found so much more sympathy in my heart for Marcus, who by the way was a total mess.. But always the devilishly sexy man.. It still didn't bother me though. This excruciating change between the two main characters, gave another spectrum and meaning to this series..
Their encounters were so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Two tormented souls with no way out of this mess, too much pride, too much bad blood between them and still they can stop wanting one another.
Seriously the sex scenes in this book were simply magestic. So much pain, temper and hidden feelings.. WOOO!
Overall i loved almost every bit of it except the unnecessary drama with Penny's health scare and how easily Katia lost control after her mother's passing. But the murder contract, wow i didn't see that coming..
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK
- The love/hate sex. Oh dear God have mercy on us!
- Penny is so cute..
- Dusty and Candy were friends to Katia.
- Dual POV.
- Marcus, he managed to change compleyely..
- Also his memories were devastating.. I felt heartbroken.
- Landon and Wyatt are so goofy and friendly..
- But Ford is my favorite of her brothers.. -
5 Shattered-Me-Stars!
Marcus and Katia's loves got me like:
During the reading though...
In this second book of the series, Katia's story was so heart-wrenching.
But so does Marcus. He realized that he fell in love with his wife. He was devastated after he kicked her out. So sorry. Tried so hard to find her. But null result. Marcus the asshole from book #1 turned into "poor man" in this book. What happened to these two was almost similar to what happened to Katia's mom .
It was beautiful. Really. I wept so much! I loved it how strong Katia was. How Marcus kept faithful to Katia when she's gone. How Dusty and Candy, her best friends, they always there for Katia no matter what. Also, her father, (Hi, Pierre!) and her three hot-italian-bothers! (Yas!! I love italian! LOL). Ford, the oldest, the cold bother! But in the inside? Hmm.. I loved him! He got pretty big role in this book. Also, Landon and Wyatt. They're cheerful! I love them too! And Penny, baby Penny! Katia and Marcus's baby.. she's soooo cute!
I really love this book! -
4,5 shattered stars!!
The second one was an emotional tornado!! So intense, painful and devastating…
I cannot express what my feelings were while reading this book… I am speechless and trust me, it worth’s it!!
I think that Bella Jewel knows how to keep us attached to her books!!! -
This book was so short. If it was longer I think I would rate it 5 stars.Anyway still it was very good and I really liked it.

3,5 💔💔❤️⚡️⚡️🌟🌟🌟s❣️
Oh, my dear Marcus....
He finally managed to pull the stick out of his arse and confronted with his own - new to him - feelings!!!!
But the damage was severe and of great proportions. Katia run away totally broken and destroyed from his despicable behaviour.
However, in the second part the roles of the characters had changed tragically and there were some unexpected plot strands.
This story had a lot of angst, many twists, tension, fast paced and the epilogue was great. -
Can't F@*kin Wait. Love me some Marcus. Grrr!
-
TOO MUCH DRAMA. This was like a year of soap opera drama packed into one little book, I had to skim to finish. Book #1 was a 3 for me, so I give the series 2.5 stars.

I loved the conclusion to Marcus and Katia's story. It was short, too short if ya ask me, and the whole entire story including book one felt rushed but I still enjoyed it. Katia did annoy me a bit in this sequel with her going psycho but thank goodness she came to her senses. And Marcus- I just love that man.
If your looking for a quick story that pulls you in with an alpha male who learns how to love, a love/hate relationship, and plenty of steam then I would recommend this series! -
*to the tune of YMCA*
DYS-FUNC-TION-AL
I need not say anything more. The maturity level of the h had plummeted beyond the sea floor. How they ever had a "relationship" - much less a marriage - is beyond my comprehension. I'm literally stunned speechless by their childish antics. And oh, it's oh so easy to get out of the mafia and the drug world. You make up your mind that you don't want that shit anymore, so you go legit without any repercussions whatsoever. Piece of cake. Because life's just that fucking easy.
