  Though not a complete novelization of the movie, but still it covers Scott’s story up to choosing to be Ant-Man. I really did enjoy it and found it entertaining, but to get more of just a hair of the story, you’ll need to watch the movie. However, it does make readers want to watch the movie to see where Scott’s story goes.

  A great little book of the film sum up, joining Scott Lang in his adventure of becoming Ant-Man.
  
  Starting in a very similar way to the film, the book goes through snippets of Scott’s life with how it played out on screen. The only caveat being it isn’t a complete representation of the film so to any expecting the full film in this book may be left a little disappointed.
  
  I thought it was a great overview though and really enjoyed it. I could definitely have read more but I loved reading the film in a short little book format so it was a win for me!

  Although there were subtle differences from the movie, I enjoyed the small insights you get through literary character development that you can't find in a movie.

  This was a nice short book explaining the Ant-Man origin story. I enjoyed it enough, since I love everything Marvel, and I think it had some good meanings and lessons for kids in it. The author had good character dialogue and well written action scenes.

  This was okay but it on'y covers a little of the movie. It's not really worth reading if you don't have what comes next and I don't so that lowered my rating of it. It left like I was reading only a pinch worth of what could have been great.

  I'm pretty sure that this book isn't exact to the movie. Then again, this like a few other books I have read, are junior novelizations of major motion pictures, from the fine folks of Marvel Studios. One of my many wishes was that this book was longer & in a sense along with longer, exact to the movie. Story line wise, it wasn't bad. I feel like Scott Lang was portrayed properly, that Hank Pym & Scott's ex wife's fiance came off pretty close to the way they do in the movie. My only negative.. as stated above, it's not long enough, nor exact to the movie hence why I gave it 3 stars.

  This is a great retelling of the first half of Marvel's Ant-Man movie. It is an exciting read and a fun superhero story.

  My oldest gave this 3.0 out of 5.0 stars saying, "Because it wasn't canon." My youngest said, "I wasn't really listening." Ultimately, it gave insight into what to expect from the movie although there were differences. A quick and easy read.

  Have not seen the movie. The story is a fun journey for Scott. He does the whole try to do good by doing bad things move. He comes into contact with Pym and his famous suit. Together they might just change the future.

  Its an interesting story and you would like to know more if you haven't see both the "ant man" and "ant man and the wasp" movies . Its not exactly like the movie but its amazing. Go and see the movie after reading the book if you haven't and for better understanding.👌👌
