Unleashed (Fighter Erotic Romance, #3) Reviews
-
All 4 books of the series are now LIVE. Undefeated, Unstoppable, Unleashed, and the final chapter, UNBROKEN.
the second installment in the lives of Mike "Ripp" Ripton and Vivian "Vee" Simon, something happens...
The characters become real.
And holy shit, do they ever.
The author, again, breaks from the norm and creates a scene, setting, and atmosphere that depart from his typical erotica. The sex in this book? Bring spare panties...The love? As deep as the deepest dark sea.
But the story?
It's real. Mike Ripton comes to life at the hands of one of the strongest female leads to ever grace the pages of an erotica. Vivian "Vee" Simon? I'd hate to face this bitch in court. She might kneel at Ripp's feet at night, but during the day, she owns that courtroom.
Owns it.
The courtroom scenes in this book are page turners that will have you sweating.
Those that have read the previous books in this series know of the trouble Ripp is in.
Ripp becomes real, scared, and has to decide if he wants to make a deal or fight the legal system to clear his name. His risk? Being guilty of murder if he's found guilty. His only hope is the woman he is falling in love with.
And let me tell you, he hangs on tight.
This book brings everything to a head. The pain one feels when battling one of life's difficult tragedies. Struggling with the emotion associated with killing another human being.
Ripp and Vee are challenged. Ripp's friends are challenged. Ripp's family is challenged.
The author is challenged.
And in the end, there is no cliff hanger, no wondering, no wanting resolution.
Only satisfaction, wet panties, and a jaw that sits flatly on the floor.
Jaw.
Dropping.
Six stars.
And bring on A-Train. -
3.75 Michael Allen Ripton - The Man Dreams Are Made Of Stars!!
What can I say about Ripp!! These gifs represent my feelings as I got to know him in this series. When I first saw Ripp, I was like.........
I found myself turning the pages trying to glimpse more of this stud. I didn't care about the MC's in book one. I was all about Ripp.......
Of course the more I saw this fine specimen of a man, I was thinking......
Than I saw Ripp in action with his Chuck Fuckin', head steppin', Good Egg adventure and we CAN NOT forget about the infamous Lickle lovin'!!! I was thinking........
We saw Ripp transform the more time he spent with Vee, while they prepared for his court battle, and fell more in love or Pizz as Ripp calls his feelings for Vee. The transformation along with Ripp kinda being like a big child when it came to having fun, totally had this whore swooning......Michael Allen Ripton, Ripp, has gotten himself in a bit of trouble. He was doing what he always does.....protecting family. There's only one person that could possible save him, Vivian Simon, Vee. I loved Vee in this book. She was total badass!!
"The courtroom is my playground. In the bedroom, I'll cower at your feet and be your submissive little girl -but in here? Everyone's my bitch. And, just in case you're wondering, that includes, you. Now hand me my motherfucking files."
I loved Ripp's character obviously because no matter what Ripp owned who he was always!! Sure he changed a little of his appearance but he held true to himself. The sexcapades were sizzling as well. This ending to the series was definitely the best. I'm kinda sad to see it end as I started to really like reading about Ripp, Vee, and all there family and friends.
Thanks to my hooker, Karez, for reading this with me!! What a blast we had!! xoxo

*****5 Lifetime of Lifetimes Stars*****
All of us come across so many Authors over the years.
But to come across that ONE Author that anything they write you fall in LOVE with immediately is very rare.
From the characters to the story you just can not seem to get enough of what that author writes.
Well I have found that Author.
When reading a Hildreth book you get so much more than a story.
I know I have said this before but I truly mean what I am saying when I say you always think about your life or yourself at one point or another while reading his books. Yes it is fiction but it still makes you think.
So now for my review. I will try make this short.
This is the 3rd installment of the fighter erotica series but this is book 2 of Vee and Ripp story by Scott. And he did not disappoint.
These Alpha men Scott writes about are protectors, givers and loyal men. And they stop at nothing.
Mike “Ripp” Ripton is on trial for murder. A murder in which he committed and believed what he was doing was right for his sister.
His girlfriend Vivian Simon is his lawyer.
Vee is one BAD ASS BITCH!!!
She is a strong, confident woman and the courtroom is her playground.
She is BOSS!!!
She does not take shit from no one. I Heart her big time.
I loved that Ripp totally trusted Vee to handle his case. That showed a lot about their relationship. It also showed that men no matter how tough they are they can also trust women sometimes to handle things.
But can Vee get Ripp off for murder?
Or will he go to prison?
Will they have
together?
There are so many emotions the characters go through in this book. You feel every single one while reading. From Vee and Ripp playing around (which I adored by the way)to the seriousness of the story.
While Mike is on trial other characters from the other books show up and you know why?
Because:
Family is not just blood related.
Family is also friends who are there for you.
There to support you.
There to help do anything for you.
THAT is family.
Even though there are other characters new and old that come into the book this book is about Mike and Vee.
About their strength, trust and love for one another.
This book has so many twist and turns you never know what is going to happen.
Scott takes you on a emotional roller-coaster with every one of his books.
Happy. Crying. Laughing. Angry. Screaming. Horny.
You name it that is Scott's style.
And to me that makes for a great book!!
I love the talk that Ripp and his dad had. Melted my heart. That really touched me. For a parent to say they are proud of you no matter what age you are that to me means the world.
But most important quote in the book for me was~
GRAD DAD JACK
I know I did not go into to much detail of the book I made my review simple but I feel if I did I would give to much away and really you just need to read this amazing series for yourself.
But I will leave with this.
LOVE
FAMILY
FRIENDSHIP
BROTHERHOOD
RESPECT
STRENGTH
TRUST
HONOR
BELIEFS
CHANGE
And some seriously HOT F#CKING STEAMY SEX!
Highly recommend to everyone.
Can not wait for A-Train (crushing on him big time) and Austin's story (his mile a minute mouth love him....lol.
Was not ready for Vee and Ripp's story to end. But I hope I will get some glimpse of them in the following books to come.
A-Train~
”The entire world can be separated into two groups; those that give, and those that take. Those that give provide something to the rest of the people on the earth.”
“The takers?”
“Well, they're only concern is themselves. They take from society, providing little, if anything, to others.”
Scott you never disappoint. Amazing job again. But I would never except anything less from you.

3..They Got This..Stars
Unleashed is the final book in the Fighter Erotic Romance Series.
Start where Unstoppable left of. After knowing that Ripp's Sister Katie(bug). got Rapped by the Sick bastard Tucker. and we all know Ripp got a really bad temper. Knowing a man Rapped his little sister. Ripp accidentally kills him!.
Ripp is really in a bad place, prepares to face trial for murder. the good thing we know is that. Vivian Simone. Ripp's attorney/Girlfriend prepares to do the one thing she does in a courtroom, Win. She is a tough woman.
After the jury's find the defendant (Ripp) not Guilty.
Ripp's perspective in life changes, appreciates what he have and gained. He truly changed to be a better person.
“If we aren’t focused on living life to the best of our ability, we’re slowly dying a death that’s of our own choosing. The odd thing is we get to pick the course we take. Why would someone choose not to live life at full capacity?...
Don't worry!, We still see Ripp's Kinky side. and his Chuck Fuck ;)..
Vivian for sure takes it to a whole new level.
Glad they had a happy ending after what they all went through.
Again, Loved reading it with my Sexy Shannie!. Love ya xoxox -
How to begin???? First off I want to officially go on record as saying Scott Hildreth knows what he is doing. After reading Unstoppable I was challenged as stated in my review, in my mind, I thought he should have done it a different way… Mr. Hildreth I am formally stating that you are brilliant and that I will do my best to be more patient in the future, because…. YOU. GOT. THIS!!!
What I took away from Unleashed is that to move forward with almost anything in your life you will accomplish it with more understand, love and growth when you complete it as a “WE” rather than an “I”. In my opinion this amazing story proves that relationships of all kinds help us with life’s celebrations and at the same time carry us through many of life’s struggles.
One relationship that is supported and secured as it becomes a “We” is Ripp and Vee’s. The author does an amazing job in portraying the love and commitment these characters developed.
"Being with Michael and becoming satisfied with him sexually had very little to do with his cock, and almost everything to do with his presence. Having him on top of me - holding me down with his weight and muscle - caused me to feel small, weak and like a woman. Absolutely nothing else mattered."
The above quote is just one example of the amazing journey Michael and Vivian take together. I absolutely love how this couple complimented each other to form an unconditional love that fits them perfectly.
Scott Hildreth stories have always had very strong auxiliary characters and Unleashed is no different. Another “We” connection that is rooted into this story is the one between the boxers and one of my favorite personalities, Kelsey.
“What in the absolute fuck are you doing in my ring in those fucking shoes, Ripper? What did I tell you about those fucking things, “ I screamed as I gripped the bottom rope.
This book is full of many more amazing “We” connections and so not to spoil the story you will have to take my word for it. Unleashed is part of the Fighter Erotic Romance Series which were all wonderful stories that not only entertained but also imparted life lessons on how to develop and grow in all types of relationships. Do yourself a favor and build a relationship with the characters in these books you will not regret it. -
As Mr. Hildreth knows, I have been in love with Mike Ripton since Undefeated. Well, that has not changed!! He is definitely my all-time favorite!
This book had me at page one and just continued to get better and better! A-Train talking about death in the beginning.....wow, just wow. I had chills and tears in my eyes. A-Train rocks and now I am seriously looking forward to his story!
I was loving the part where Ripp was telling the "finger" story and telling how Shane and Kace initially got together. So typical, so male, so awesome! And of course, it just reminded me how much I also love Shane with his shyness and his hoodie.....his actions just make me smile! And the car tipping....hahaha..... loved it!
Now, since I work for a law firm, I was really curious as to how the trial would be written. Well, let me tell you, I was jumpy and on the edge of my seat with excitement and anxiety as it started. Vee....WOW! Vee's opening statement and then her interaction with the detective in the hallway... let's just say she was kicking ass and taking names!! She was a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom and was seriously impressive!
Oh, and I can't overlook the beginning of the trial, when Ripp's friends and family were introducing themselves. I was overwhelmed with emotion! The dedication and support was just inspiring! And when the trial ended, I needed a box of tissues. Yep, big sloppy tears!
Don't want to give any spoilers as to how it all turns out, but this series, this author, has rocked my world! I want to be friends with these people, I want to hang out with them!
While most of the books I read are authored by women, this author, yes, you, Scott Hildreth, have a definite way with words and I love it! I am sucked in from the beginning and just cannot get enough!
I need more Scott! Bring it on! -
KNIFE HANDS........"Knife hands, motherfucker. That shit works,"
I am literally sitting here blinking my eyes and staring! I too have lost all forms of verbal communication... and funnily enough, that seems to happen A LOT after reading one of Scott Hildreth's books!
"I blinked my eyes and looked around the room, still somewhat uncertain of exactly what had happened. I felt like my brains had been scrambled."
^^^ THAT!!! Michael "Ripp" Ripton has hit the nail on the bloody head! THAT!!! THAT is exactly how I feel.... I feel that saying "shdvnknddfhdsfbbc" would, quite possibly sum up how I feel about the 3rd edition of Scott Hildreth's Fighter Erotic Romance Series, UNLEASHED..... Vee's
"Holy fuuuuuccckkkk!"
would actually work pretty well too!!! I could go on & on with fitting quotes! I'm currently sitting here looking at a notepad with 5 pages of quotes and thoughts...5 PAGES!!! That... THAT is what Scott Hildreth does to you when you read his books! He...makes...you...THINK and FEEL!
There are some books that you just don't want to finish. You want to take your time and savour every piece of sweat, frustration and tear that has gone into writing it. The characters and story become part of your heartbeat... they become a breath that you FEEL ebbing and flowing in you... they become a part of you. You stop reading the words and just feel and breath and laugh and cry and shout and clench your fists....
In essence, it stops being a book, and becomes a journey that you have become connected to... invested in through the course of the series...
YOU are there sitting next to A-Train.
YOU are the one being thrown out of court, because you can't help but stand up and yell!
YOU are the one being held back by Vee in the corridor, wanting to lash out at the Detective.
BUT,
Vee's. Got. This.
Vee's got Michael.
SHE is his safety net.
SHE is his strength.
SHE is his hope and future and life.
SHE is HIS.
and
HE IS HERS.
Courage is vulnerability.
Vulnerability is courage.
Like shadow and light,
neither one can exist
without the other.
(Wai Lan Yuen)
They compliment each other...they are each other's yin and yang...their's is a story of Love and trust, vulnerability and strength, uncertainty and beliefs.
Now I have a confession to make.... while I think Ripp is as hot at hell, I have to admit that in Unleashed.... erm.... I have a slight girl crush on Vee!
She has an alluring balance... outside of the courtroom she is sassy, but inside.... Holy SHIT she is BOSS! I'm torn between being turned on and scared shitless of her! She is an Amazon...trust me, you don't want to get on her wrong side!
"I may let you run over me in the bedroom, but in the courtroom, I'll tear this prosecution team limb by mother fucking limb like the savage little bitch that I am"
SQUISH!
AND she gets to have hot sex... I'm talking about HOT.... H...O...T! I think I'm going to pass out or die HOT SEX with Ripp! Lickle, Head Steppin' & MORE!!!! I couldn't work out if my panties were wet from being turned on, or because I'd pee'd myself from laughing at one of the many hilarious situations just sneakily slipped in there by Scott Hildreth to throw you off balance...panties in the parking garage is all I'm going to say!!!
Ripp & Vee's story is not going to disappoint you!
"It's."
"That."
"Simple"
And there's MORE!!! More I hear you say?! How the Hell can there be more?!! We get to hear a little about A-Train.... but not enough! I WANT MORE dammit....MOOOORRRREEEE!!!!!
"I am a protector"
*sighs* ......... M~O~R~E!!!!!!!!
And don't let me forget Austin! Scott Hildreth is a fucking tease! ....TEASER! We get a glimpse of the man behind the boyish facade... Just. Enough. To. Leave. Us. Wanting. More!
"You gonna question me every time someone tells you some fucked up shit? Or you gonna get to know me and know who I am and stick up for my character?"
Love, family, friendship, brotherhood.
YOU'VE GOT THIS! Scott Hildreth....I pizzed this! & I pizz the fact that you can write something that is so fucking HOT, yet has so much emotional depth...and makes you question and think!
This is a MUST BUY! 5 massive, luminous spheres of plasma....If I can only give up to 5, I'm bloody well calling them something more impressive than stars!!!
My favourite quote?.....
"If we aren't focused on living life to the best of our ability, we're dying a death that's of our own choosing. The odd thing is we get to pick the course we take. Why would someone choose not to live life at full capacity?" -
Michael 'Ripp' Ripton. Vivian 'Vee'' Simon. This pair. In this book. Yeah they are Unleashed. Ripp continued to be that bad ass storyteller that literally had me snorting. He's that guy everyone wants as their friend because he can make you laugh yourself silly, but would bust balls in an instant if you messed with his friends or family. He also was a man who finally met his match with Vee. Their relationship was something to envy.
Vee. Yeah the bitch is a force to be reckoned with. A powerhouse attorney who let's everyone, especially Ripp, know the courtroom is HER playground. She's a very intelligent woman, but Ripp complimented her well. Their playful times together, loved them. They had something that great relationships are built on...faith and a mutual trust and respect for one another.
Ok. Now Alec, A-Train, sweet Baby Jesus that man. I didn't think Scott could write another character I could love more. Well with this one he did. He is the ultimate friend. Willing to do anything for those he holds dear. Very admirable. Damn I cannot wait to see where this one goes.
All the ancillary characters are great, Ripp's father, sisters, oh yes and Austin Malone? Yeah he's definitely one to watch.
So again I give this book of the "Un" series 5 well deserved stars. Hell at this point the 5 star system just ain't cutting it for a Hildreth book. Congrats AGAIN Scott, you never cease to amaze me with your talent to pull me into your stories and love the hell out of your characters. Clap. Clap. Clap. -
First of all I would like to bow down and congratulate Scott on his tenth book!! All within 12 months.....Ten amazing books, loved every single one of them......
In Undefeated I liked Mike as Dekkar swooned me with his gentle ways.... In Unstoppable Mike stole my heart with his tough exterior, hilarious banter, his love and protectiveness for his friends and family esp when his eyes caught Vee's attention..
What can I say about Unleashed? Well what I can is that I bloody loved it!!! My favourite of so far.
Just the love and trust that was shown between Mike and Vee in this book, was unbelievable.
Hot sexy scenes .....Well we are speaking about Mike Ripton......expect nothing less!!! Hehehe..
Just hoping Austin and A-Train will get to tell their story. -
"They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions… but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience."
~ Harper Lee, To Kill A Mockingbird
Integrity, a man's word, his belief of whats right and wrong, those are the things that make a man. Do you stand up and fight for what you know is inherently right, or do you take the easy way out to save yourself?
"I have never asked God for anything, and I wasn't about to start because of a situation that was contrary to what I wanted or expected my life to include. Things happen in our life, often times they're a result of an event or events that we have a difficult time digesting."
Morality, staying true to who you are and standing up for your personal code of principals, at all costs. Whether you are taught morals or it's something ingrained in your own personal fabric of character, your morality is the voice to your soul.
"Anyone that believes they know what God's will is, in my mind, is mistaken. We all have an idea, if we believe in God, what we believe his will to be. No one knows. We like to believe that we do, but we don't. It all comes down to what we believe. From the time that we're children, we begin to develop a system of beliefs of what we choose to categorize as right and wrong. Most people share the same beliefs on matters of morality. When were exposed to an event that requires us to make a split decision, we all react differently."
Honor, this word holds different connotations for different people. To me honor constitutes a strong sense of self, knowing who you are and what it is that you stand for. To be honorable to one person, may not mean the same thing to another individual. It's sad to me, that in todays world, honor is not instilled in our younger generation. Honor is what this story is about. In Unleashed, the third installment of the "UN" series by Author SD Hildreth, this is the story that unfolds.
"I'll die proud as fuck of you, boy. Let me tell you something. When I'm done talking you and I are going to go to dinner. They're all waiting - your friends, your girlfriend, the rest of the family. I know this is Sunday. And I know it all starts tomorrow, but all I have to say. I can say it real quick." he paused and placed his hand on my right thigh."
Michael A. Ripton, a man's man, a boxer, a boyfriend, a friend, a son, and a brother. Ripp knows what he wants and knows who he is… until he finds himself in a fight for his life. This book is a continuation of Mike's journey. Scott's writing does an impeccable job of showing us the growth of the human spirit. Laid before us is a man, all of his strengths and weaknesses, all out in the open. A man that "is who he is." Who is he? He doesn't even realize that he doesn't know, until he's on the other end of this life changing event. We watch him travel from "I've got this" to now "I get this."
"As we walked to the car, I took a deep breath in through my my nose and smelled the sweet Austin summer air. All of this was new to me. New friends, a new relationship, a new chance at living a trouble free life. I had a chance at a new beginning of sorts. With each step toward the car, I realized my nightmare was truly over. I would be in charge of my own life from here on out. I could make it as good or as bad as I wanted to. I looked down as Vee squeezed my hand in hers."
Vivian "Vee" Simone, a woman, not a girl. She knows who she is and what she's made of. She knows she's "got him" because she knows him better than anyone else. She knows she's fierce, but she becomes "Unleashed" because she's fighting the most important battle of her life. The fight for her heart. The fight for what her heart knows is important to stand up for (re-read that, not only is she fighting for her own beliefs but she is fighting for her heart who is Mike, but what her heart (Mike) is fighting for). That's where a woman truly shines. This is what I love about this book. Mr. Hildreth was not afraid to give us a strong heroine, but also a heroine the hero has to depend on. It's okay in life to realize and accept that needing others doesn't make you weak, quite the contrary, it strengthens you.
"I pizz you," he said as he bumped my fist.
"I got this." I said as I pressed my knuckles to his.
"And I pizz you back."
This story, this account of humanity is just that, an account of life. The beauty of life shines when we realize and ask, what am I doing? Everything I thought I knew? Just got rocked because of a situation I never expected. This is the moment when you have a choice, be grateful for where you are, or quit complaining. Ripp has done all of that and more. He's realized the people who showed up in his life unexpectedly albeit, are his greatest gifts. Family isn't always just about a blood bond, family is who you choose to expose yourself to, open up to, be real with. Even if its a casual conversation, everyone enters your life for a reason. It's what you choose to make of it, that chance, that shapes who and what you are.
"I sat at the table different. Changed. Full of a love for my friends and family that I had never felt. As I glanced around the table, my mouth forced a smile. I realized everyone was still talking, I just wasn't hearing what they were saying. I looked down at my lap and noticed Vee's hand was still resting on my thigh. A-Train and Bug were still talking, and Austin's eyes were darting back and forth as people spoke, attempting to absorb it all. Shane sat back in his chair taking it all in, his face covered in that Shane Dekkar smile. And Kace. Kace did what Kace does.
She sat and smiled.
If we aren't focused on living life to the best of our ability, we're slowly dying a death that's of our own choosing. The odd thing is we get to pick the course we take. Why would someone choose not to live at full capacity?" I looked around the room and smiled."
Conscience. We all have one, it's what separates human beings from animals. It's whether or not as a human, one chooses to listen their conscience and that alone separates the demons from the angels. There isn't a roadmap to life, and the even best laid plans go astray. You live life thinking you know who you are until you're presented with that one situation you never expected. It doesn't matter how you end up there, what matters is how you deal with "there" once you've arrived.
"Climbing deep into the bowels of the human mind, determining what causes us to be happy, what causes us to be sad, and understanding why is a task that is not able to be confirmed with any degree of accuracy. It is and always has been a matter of opinion. I don't particularly care for obtaining an opinion of what makes me happy or why."
Kudos Mr. Hildreth. Kudos. -
I have a confession to make. I was finishing Unstoppable on a business trip, reading it at 30k feet when I got to the end. Thank god for inflight wifi! I paid the money to get connected so that I could buy Unleashed to continue! I paid a lot more than the book cost but it was worth EVERY CENT! The "Un" series is more than just hot boxers who have incredible sex, it's much more! The sex sure it's hot and it's definitely a bonus, but It's about growing, learning, acceptance, friendship, loyalty and bonds that will never be broken.
The continuation of Mike "Ripp" Ripton's story was probably, in my opinion, his best one to date. We see how much
"Michael" grows as a person through the incredible support of the extremely strong woman that is Vivian Simon. I appreciated that the courtroom was "her playground" I appreciated that she was the fighter and coach in her ring. I appreciated the lengths she went to make sure "she got this" for him. Not once do you see her or his family leave his side. Not once do you see doubt waiver. THEY HAVE THIS!
Old and new friends have his back in this story: Dekkar, Kace, Kelsey, his parents and sister Amanda aka Bug. And new friends such as A Train, Austin and "friends" that have come from Kansas to stay and be in his corner.
Ripp starts a metamorphosis and begins to see himself differently. Wants to be a better man. However, he is still who he is, just a better version of himself!
All of Scott's books, at the beginning of each chapter, gives you something to think about. Again, I appreciate this! This was the beginning of one such chapter: "Sometimes when people are exposed to traumatic events or circumstances,
It changes them. Often the changes last a lifetime. Some people eventually adjust back go their former self, or a different version of their former self. Others, after the trauma is over, immediately revert back to who they were previously. Those people that are capable of shrugging off one of life's tragedies without much or any effect are rare. Meet Michael Allen Ripton." You need to meet Michael Allen Ripton.
Unleashed is a 5 star read. You really need to pick up this series! -
5 stars
Gifted ecopy for and honest review.
This is part 2 of RIPP's story and I have to say the author definitely ended the story with a BANG! You know when sometimes you read a book and when you finish it you feel satisfied? That was me at the end of this one, I was full of happy and satisfied. I LOVED how the author ended the story. I want to give it 10 stars just for how happy I was when I finished reading it.
I also have to say that it was very nerve wracking when the trial was going, I didn't know what was going to be the outcome and I was so scared that the author was going to do something drastic and unexpected, but luckily we got a happy outcome. One of my favorite parts of the story is right after the trial. That was incredible, super hot and then I laughed so hard I had tears. When Vee gives something to the counselor that almost caught them in the hood of the car having some fun I almost died laughing.
I loved how Vee was all strong and composed during the whole trial and I also loved how we see Ripp, he was showing us a different side of him, one that I loved.
The family bond and the friendships on this story will leave you wanting to have friends like this ones and a family like this as well.
Another favorite moment is when Ripp is talking to his dad, I almost cried then and there. It was such a great and powerful moment in the story.
The sex scenes are super hot and steamy just like this author knows how to write them. You won't be disappointed there ;)
All the characters in the story are strong characters, we have no whinny or clingy females and the guys are as tough as you can get them. You will fall in love with all of them, I can guarantee it; Mike (Ripp), Shane (Dekk), Alec (A-Train) and Austin.
If you read Unstoppable you need to read Unleashed, you just HAVE to. And if you have not read it, then what are you waiting for? This is one of those stories that you won't want to miss.
-
Another 5* read from Scott!! This continuation of Ripp and Vee's story was probably my favourite in the series. From the very beginning it had me laughing out loud! Love Ripp's sense of humour!
Vee is a total bad arse female, seeing her in court shows exactly how strong and confident she is within her job and Ripp was completely able to put his whole trust in her when he needed it the most. There were a lot of parts in this which were pretty intense, I just wanted to see what happened as soon as possible, especially while he was in Court! A lot of happy emotions in this book and I loved it! Read it in one sitting :)
Even though Ripp and Vee don't seem like the obvious couple from the outside they really did make the perfect couple, both strong on their own in their own environments, Vee in court and Ripp in the ring, but together even stronger and able to support and trust each other completely. And they are completely HOT in the bedroom!!
Loved A Train (Alec) being in this, was nice to read more about him but would definitely love a story on him!! It had all the great characters in this, Kace and Shane as well as newby Austin! They are all great together, loved the usual Sunday dinners round at Ripp's parents and the way all the characters gel together and reading their banter really shows what a great family they all are together, whether blood related or not!
A great end to the series and I highly recommend it!! -
Like I mentioned in my reviews of Undefeated and Unstoppable - SCOTT, you deserve the all-caps way of typing your name, which I reserve only for my favorite book characters... because you, SCOTT, is a book junkie's dream!
You create characters that simply cannot be ignored.
You made me fall in love with a gentleman fighter in Undefeated..
Then you made me an obsessed stalker of dirty-mouthed, Chucks-wearing fighter in Unstoppable..
Now, you introduced A-train??
I'll be a fan.. for a lifetime of lifetimes.
Unleashed. What can I say except I love it. Ripp did not disappoint. His love for story-telling, his antics and all his crazy ways - that's what makes him unforgettable.
Vee.. Damn, the girl is fierce! Her court scenes make me smile like a proud mama!
I won't talk about the story.. just know that you would want to read this.
It has everything you need - friendship, family, love, hot sex, life lessons.
You don't wanna miss this ride, coz it's one hell of a ride with Ripp! -
I really loved book 3 in this series and I'm hoping that we'll get a book 4!
Scott Hildreth's writing has become seamless. Whereas I found book 1 in this series to be a bit stiff, this book was the epitome of 'Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight.' I loved it.
Vee is a great heroine and the ancillary characters have me crossing my fingers for follow up books for them.
I can't wait to see what's next out of the mind of this author. He has a very unique voice. Which is what I have come to value as a reader. -
First off let me just give Kudos for Vee because she is amazing. I loved her badassness. She knew what she wanted and she went after it with a vengeance. She was incredibly strong willed which is hard to come by in erotic romance novels. I loved how the story unfolded and even more how it ended. I am however sad to see Ripp and Vee`s story end. I will be anxiously waiting for whatever you have in store for your readers next.
-
Loved it! Vee, Ripp....the whole family! Amazing...Vee is a total badass,I love it! This book had me laughing ,crying and on the edge of my seat!
The sex was hot( like ,I was looking around to see if anyone was watching me read when I was on the hot as sex scenes) I mean damn! Hot! Hot! Hot!
I'm swooning over A-Train, can't wait to see whatever Scott Hildreth has in store for us next! This fighter series is a must read! Love it! -
Another awesome addition to the series Scott! Vee knows how to stand her ground and kick some butt when need be. There was some great plot twist action during the trial and I loved, again, how there was character cross over from your Baby Girl series! And by the sound of another couple coming together, the last chapter and epilogue... There will more in this series, which makes me smile. Thank you, as always, for writing these awesome books!

*****My review of Unleashed by Scott Hildreth*******
Another EPIC ride by Scott! Holy. Shit!
This was the continuation of Ripp and Vee’s story. It picks up where we left off and doesn’t stop! You are once again taken on one hell of a ride! This one, Yeh! It got me! We see a different side to Mike. We see Vee Kick Ass! The relationship between the two of them is rock solid…. Fight to Win!
Vee is a total bad ass. She showed us just how serious and in control she is. Strong, Powerful, Confident! She dominated that shit! She grabbed the situation by the horns and made it her bitch! It’s not often you find a female lead that is this strong and kick ass. Vee was a breath of fresh air. A bad ass breathe of fresh air. She kicks ass and takes names. She doesn’t stand down. She may be submissive to her Alpha in the bedroom but let me tell you… in her courtroom SHE.IS.BOSS! She’s the dominant one.
Mike “Ripp”…. A somewhat softer side to him is introduced. One that pulls at your heart a little. Always the Dominant, Strong, In Charge Alpha. This time around- he has to trust in someone else and give up some of his control. Holding back showing his true feelings – the fear! The fear of going away forever and possibly losing the one and only woman he loves. The sex- come on? It’s Ripp! Enough said!
The story had everything we love in a book written by Scott. It was full of suspense, action, love, drama, passion. I laughed, I cried and although I was happy with the ending I was left a little sad. The two of them together are a Kick Ass Powerhouse Couple and I didn’t want their story to be over.
We are taken on a journey. One that will most definitely have you believing in second chances, standing up and fighting for what you believe in, true love, happily ever after and all that other shit. You will walk side by side with the characters – feeling as if you are right there with them. The characters are real.
All the characters we have fallen in love with are still in this one. We are introduced to several new characters that are sure to have us falling on our knees Soon enough.
You will learn that you often need someone to have your back. Even if you have dealt with everything handed to you alone, in the past. We are reminded of the bond and loyalty of true friends. About love, trust, strength and courage. About what one bad ass woman will do to fight for the man she loves and what one man will do to make sure he keeps the woman he loves. Another 5+ star read from Scott!
Now we wait…. We wait for Scott to bring us his next EPIC – AMAZING- story.
Thank you Scott – for all the amazing stories you bring us. You sir…are Awesome!

Family. It’s a relatively fluid concept. It can encompass so many different relationships from those who are bound to us by blood and those we choose to walk with us on this earth for the length of our lives. It’s vital and makes up such a huge component of our heart and where we belong in our individual lives. Family gives shape and tangibility to what matters most.
Unleashed is about family. The process of finding it, claiming it and then letting it do what it does best – love you when you need it most.
Mike Ripton is about to go on trial for murder. When we last saw him, he was telling Vee how he had snapped the neck of his sister’s rapist. He has to decide whether he wants to take a plea deal or take a stand for what he chose and risk a life in prison. By this time, you know which path Ripp is going to choose, because you know who he is. And even though he has a hard time choosing his path and needs to let some family step in and remind him who he is, he chooses to stand up, to fight and hold his head high with Vee right by his side.
And speaking of Vee? She is the billy bad ass of all bad asses. We’ve spent two books watching Ripp take opponents apart in a myriad of rings both official and not – he owns those fights. Vee owns this one. The law is her ring and she is not only undefeated and unstoppable, she is the queen of the realm.
This book walks Ripp through some pretty significant changes to his life and character. And even when he struggles, he does so with style and a genuine self-awareness that is a joy to read. And to watch him with an expanded cast of characters new and old allows him to show off all of the different facets of his personality as well. Adding Austin and A-Train to the equation gives a new depth and dynamic in which to watch Ripp and Dekk interact and work.
This book is by far the most philosophical of the three. But Scott Hildreth continues to display his storytelling mastery by making it seem effortless and weaving worthy questions throughout the narrative in really interesting and genuine ways. Of the three books, this one had some pieces that were hard to read for me. Not because they weren’t written well but because they were rent with so much heart and soul that it was hard to remember I was reading fiction.
Hildreth manages to tie up everyone’s story line with a gorgeous bow by book’s end, leaving me with a giant grin on my face. I plowed through this series in less than three days and became extraordinarily attached to these characters and their stories in that short period of time. I was moved and delighted and shocked and turned on and a myriad of other things, often all at once. But I was never in doubt. Never once did these stories or characters leave me unprotected.
Jump into this series, if you’ve not already. Scott Hildreth has this. And he won’t ever lead you astray. -
Unleashed (Fighter Erotic Romance #3)
By: Scott “S.D.” Hildreth
5/5 stars
This is book 3 in Scott Hildreth’s Fighter Erotic Romance series, and book 2 of Vee & Ripp’s story. Book 1 of Ripp & Vee’s story, Unstoppable, ended somewhat on a cliffhanger that had fans badgering our dear author for several days. He is an appeasing man & let us know that he’d already started on the sequel & it would be out in 2 weeks…AND IT DIDN’T DISAPPOINT!
At the end of Unstoppable, Ripp had just killed His sister’s boyfriend who had raped her & stole her virginity. He called Vee and she told him what to do & what not to do and said, “I got this.” Unleashed picks up with A-Train giving life advice to Ripp on whether or not to take the plea bargain & lesser years sentence or to take the case to trial. And the unanimous decision is to take it to trial & fight it.
Vee preparing Ripp for trial, even though a very serious matter, is quite comical. I find it comical mainly because Vee is this tiny little thing, but in her profession and her playground (the courtroom) SHE DOMINATES! And she takes no crap! Not from Ripp, the opposing counsel, third-rate detectives or anyone else. She is the BOSS in the courtroom. There is not a submissive bone in her professional life. There are parts that make you laugh out loud, that keep you on the edge, and well-planned strategy that makes you take notice! You know that the author knows what he’s writing about.
The court drama doesn’t go on forever, thankfully. And in true Hildreth style, it’s back to all about the characters, their lives, their families and living. I’m in love with all of these characters. Every. Single. One. I have a huge girl-crush on Vee, holy hell, that woman!
The human chicken fight had me laughing so hard, I was snorting! My husband rolled his eyes at me & I freaked out my dog. Freaking hilarious!
The sex is hot, and I’m pretty sure that Ripp is currently the only one that can deliver like that! At least until Scott gets to A-Train’s book! My man A-Train! For me, A-Train was the absolute best secondary character in this book. I’m going to love his book. Then there is Austin, a fun, handsome, dorkily awesome friend who is looking for a place to fit in. But who offers some sage advice on how rumors that get started, are spread & changed by each tongue they are told, until it is nothing that is in the same ballpark as the truth.
The last chapter & the epilogue…Holy Madness, I’m excited!! I don’t give spoilers, but want to talk about this so bad. I’m seriously clapping like a loon! -
First, thank you to the brilliant mind of Scott Hildreth for writing another book that doesn't feature a whiney ass, cant stand on my own two feet, female lead or much less any weak females in this series. Sweet baby Jesus -- Thank you Mr. Hildreth!
You have Bug; tough as nails -- Kace or "Shorty" big ass balls of steel who says what she thinks and stands by her "soon to be Heavy Weight Champion" -- and then there is Vee. -- Vee IS the White Wolf. An all consuming predator by nature, ensuing danger, destruction; symbolizing the warrior on one hand and the devil on the other. That bad ass woman will do whatever it takes and wipe your sorry ass all over the courtroom which includes the extension outside those walls to the parking garage. ;)
On the other side we have Shane, Austin (or JT .. LMAO), Ripp and A-Train (my Jarhead Alec). Mother fucking Alec.
Unleashed delivers an all consuming story that leaps from the pages, smothers you with emotions dominating every sensory reaction you thought you could have to a story and then some. Damn I was singing The Star Spangled Banner, to Simple Man by Skynyrd and Porn Star Dancing by My Darkest Days all within the first couple of chapters. Fucking hell talk about an emotional freight train. Commitment, sacrifice, being a protector or the one being protected, family, honor, brotherhood, sex, love, fighting for what is right its ALL HERE.
I don't want to spoil anything for any reader as you need to get there yourself so I don't want to say too much. But I can promise you Vee is Unleashed, Ripp does what he does and rips it, and the A-Train is a man bigger then life itself. There is so much yet to come and I cant wait. Keep them coming.
Give me all the damn stars you can find because Im putting them here. SD Hildreth I had no doubt we were all just waiting for the next round of genius and you gave it to us. Standing ovation. -
Unleashed is just that "Unleashed" It is a perfect combination of hot and sexy and profound wisdom.
It will lickle your soul.
When Scott Hildreth writes a book you can believe there is going to be a message even if it is an erotic novel. His message in this one...faith, loyalty, standing tall and firm in the belief that you did something right even if it is morally questionable.
Unleashed is the continuation of Ripp and Vee's story Unstoppable. In this story we get to see more of Vee's character, we get to experience her in her element. She flippin' rocks! It is so refreshing to see a female lead who is strong, independent and successful. We get to see her Domme in the courtroom and maybe get a better understanding as to why she submits in the bedroom.
Ripp is out of his element in this story. He is accustomed to going into a fight knowing he is going to come out a winner. There is no guarantee this time and he finds himself questioning everything and for the first time being afraid. We are introduced to some new characters in Unleashed and they each play a significant role in Ripp's life.
I loved the element of family and friends, it made the story easier to identify with...to place ourselves in that situation. You are literally asking yourself throughout "what would I have done?"
So while Unleashed still maintains it's level of hotness that heats your ...er...insides it also warms your soul. There wasn't a moment that I was not reflecting while reading that book and re-evaluating myself afterwards. Job well done...again, Hildreth. -
Mike Ripton, by now were all familiar with him, hot headed Chuck wearing protector of those who can't protect themselves.
Mike has met his match in Viv! As much as I love Ripp I find myself wanting to write about Viv the most. She's a complete badass, there's no stopping this chick when she wants something. She's tough as nails by day but the queen of submissive by night.
Viv & Ripp are just what the other needs, they couldn't be more perfect for each other. I absolutely love Viv, in fact I want to be just like her when I grow up! I've fallen hardcore for her, this is the first female lead I couldn't get enough of, she's that freaking perfect.
She is the perfect woman.
Ripp & Viv have an amazing relationship, they are so in tune with each other, truly each others soulmate if you believe in that kind of thing. Ripp changed a bit in this book, he grew, became an even better man that I thought was possible for him. I cannot wait to see what happens with A-Train, I fell a little in love with him over the course of this book.
Shane & Kace, Ripp & Viv, their lives are about to change in a big way, it's going to be another amazing story when we get it. These books just keep getting better and better.
If I could I'd give this book 10 stars. As much as you loved Shane in Undefeated, as much as you loved Ripp in Unstoppable, be prepared to fall harder for Unleashed, its another a-fu$%ing-mazing story! -
I have only one thing to say directly to Scott about this Fighter Erotic Romance Series. If you EVER stop writing these books, I will look for you, I WILL find you, and I will go all Annie Wilkes of "Misery" on you.......[Right after smashing Paul's ankles with a sledgehammer] "God I love you."....Annie Wilkes.....hahahahaha.
Ok, that was just creepy and I really wouldn't do that. Sorry. But I just can't get enough of Scott and his work. Vee is fkn brilliant, she makes me feel dumb, and I ain't no dummy!!! The way everything was played out kept me hanging on to the very end and the only thing I've managed is to crave more Ripp and Vee. And I literally stopped breathing with the surprise witness for the state. But I found a new love for A-train. He and Austin are awesome. Not as much as Ripp. That man right there should be the standard by which all men are measured.
Scott is a brilliant writer with a massive heart. His humanitarian side shines brightly thru his books and the level of thought, heart, and soul that goes into his work stands alone. There is no comparison to any other body of work from any other author. These are the kind of books I share with my four daughters because there is a message there of how a man should treat a woman, the lengths he will go to for the women he loves, and how women should appreciate men that will stand up and fight against the takers of this world!!! -
You, Mr. Scott Hildreth, blow my mind away every time I read your books!
As you know, I have some difficulties when writing reviews because of my lack of English vocabulary, but, I. GOT. THIS! At my own way... LOL
So what was it that I loved about this book?
I may say that it was the way I felt as if I was one of the characters, and I love feeling that way when reading;
It was the way you expose some problems and make us think about them;
It was the HOT SEXY scenes you put in there that make my panties melt;
It was the way you can make me LAUGH, Cry and WTH... horny (yeah I have no shame on that LOL)!!
It was the adorable badass, tattooed Mike Ripton being himself all the way through the 3 books that makes us know that you CAN'T look at someone and think that you know that person just because you know the outside!
Vee... Miss Vee is a badass girl that makes us want to be like her!! Damn... They are perfect for each other!
And now... I hope, I really HOPE you have more for me... because I am not satisfied with the little teaser you left us about A-Train... oh yeah! I want to know that man and his story...!
AND Austin too... there's too much there to blow our minds away... so Mr., do us all a favor and continue with that AWESOME job! WRITE FOR US!!!
And that's all for now!
Thank you!! -
With every word that I read that Scott writes, I love his writing more and more. This story is no exception and the only word that I can use is phenomenal.
I sat as I read this with bated breath as this book 2 of the Michael "Rip" Ripton's story. As Rip's trial starts, Vee makes good and damn sure that Rip is ready for this and that she "got this". We see A-train in this story more and can see and understand quickly why he and Rip become good friends. We also see that he certainly is going to everything he can to help his new friend including getting to know Kace's ex Josh as he is called as a witness during Rip's trial to talk about what happened with him and Rip after he beat Kace. When the verdict of innocence comes back, Rip makes sure that it keep the path that Vee has helped him created and they continue together.
As this story comes to a close I didn't want it too and to be honest there could be another book when you talk about pregnancies, weddings and what is going to happen with A-train & Kate....just sayin.
