This book follows the lives of Shane and Kace from book One - UNDEFEATED, and is the follow up to book one.
As Shane Dekkar prepares for the biggest fight of his career - the Heavyweight Championship of the World - life throws him an unexpected uppercut so damaging he takes a step back and reconsiders EVERYTHING.
In his reevaluation of life and all things in it, he migrates to where he found comfort for years, street fights and bare knuckles matches for spare cash. Risking his career, health, the championship, his relationship, and his friends, Shane must find a way to rise from the muck and mire he's living in and either fight for what he believes in, or remain where he currently finds comfort - in the bowels of society.
Can people truly change or do we always naturally migrate to a place of comfort in hard times?
Will Shane go back to his love, friends, and life, or will he revert to his roots and be a loner?
Best described in A-Train's discussion with Ripp, Shane just might be "Unbroken"...
"I've seen what exposing a man to violence and bloodshed can do, Ripp. I've witnessed it first hand. Some men take exception to it from the start, and those men can recover. The savages? The men who came from a life of violence? Well, they actually find comfort in it. There isn't a way to fix 'em, because they aren't really broken. Lemme ask you a question. If you take a wolf out of the wild, does it take the wild out of the wolf?"
Unbroken, the final chapter in the Undefeated series.
*WARNING* This book contains scenes of graphic violence and sex that some readers may find offensive.

All four books of the series are LIVE. Undefeated, Unstoppable, Unleashed, and UNBROKEN...
This book is the last in the 2 book series of the "Undefeated" portion of the Boxer Erotica series, or the follow-up to Hildreth's book Undefeated. Currently for pre-purchase on Amazon, and a release set for mid-October.
I had the luxury of reading for pre-purchase submission.
beginning where Unleashed left off (in sorts), and where Undefeated left us in regard to Shane's scheduled fight for the Heavyweight Championship of the World, this book is not at all what I expected (at least at first).
It's quite a different place for Shane to be than I had hoped for. Early in the book, we learn that he has had a bomb dropped into his lap emotionally, we just aren't aware of what it is. He immediately reverts back to his roots, and starts fighting and acting as if he prefers being alone - tossing his friends and such aside.
The fighting in this book is brutal, and akin to what was in the first book.
The storyline is something that will keep you guessing and make you wonder just where Hildreth is headed. It wont take long until you realize "Oh shit"....
But it's too late.
The writing is unique in the respect he doesn't alternate chapter POV's like he generally does. Told in a more one-sided tone, this book really grasps your attention, and keeps a grip until the ending.
To tell much is to spoil, but A-Train, Ripp, a very preggo Vee, and that machine-gun mouthed Austin are all back for a final round in this fast-paced book. Oh, and Bug is in full force as well.
It's nice to know she's a little like Ripp in the humor department.
I will say this without hesitation. If you like fighting and you aren't afraid of some rough and tumble sex, this book will keep you flipping the pages. A storyline unlike any other, and headed to a place most authors wouldn't tread, Hildreth runs through it with ease.
Be prepared, it'll rip out every emotion within you, and place them back, just not necessarily in order.
A must read for the Shane and Kace fans. -
Once again SD Hildreth does not disappoint. A slice of life with a nice topping of a lesson. As always beautifully written...it will bring you to tears as you feel the pain and the intense emotion in this gem of a book.. But you will also be laughing at loud a a particular scene...I am not spilling....so put on your Chucks and get ready for more of the "Un" gang. You will be in for a great read my friends. Enjoy!

“Flippin” Awesome!! That is how I feel about not only Unbroken but also the entire Fighter Erotic Romance series. I am a bookworm plain and simple. I would rather read a book than watch TV or go to the movies. That being said I am particular on what I read and prefer books that stand out but at the same time draw me in, and Scott Hildreth has done that again. I can only write a review on what I took from a book and how the story related to the experiences in my life. Reading Unbroken and writing this review I concluded that this one touched me, deeply.
Unbroken is the conclusion to the Kace and Shane’s story. I fell in love with this amazing couple even more, as the author took us on the next stage of their life journey and I will admit that Kleenex were never far away. As with anyone’s life voyage change is in the forefront of this couple’s present reality. And as with most change we have choices, choices on how to deal with it.
“Often it seems we’re forced to hear exactly what it is we aren’t willing to listen to when we want to hear it the least but need to hear it the most.”
Wow, that quote, I could relate to this statement on so many levels. Like Dekk I have made mistakes that I cannot take back, but as the author showed us in this brilliant tale the key to all the changes that cross out path is Acceptance….
Acceptance is the magic that makes change possible. It is not forever; it is for the present moment. Acceptance is the magic that makes our present circumstance good. It brings peace and contentment and opens the door to growth, change, and moving forward. The author demonstrates this lesson in the most loving way, “And behold a white horse.” A-Train sigh…. Yes that is all I am giving you, you MUST discover the magic of Alec when you read this book.
When acceptance does happen it is a beautiful thing….
Now with any great Hildreth book there is humor, excitement, and more humor. The emotional life lessons are wonderfully balanced with laugh out loud occasions from ALL our favor characters, but the personality that happily came into her own and had me cracking up was Kace, damn she was great. Grace personified.
The whole gang is back in all their glory, absolutely loved the crazy groups scene’s filled with family and friends. This author is very talented in transporting you to the scene, who knew how funny running to the local CVS with Shane and Ripp could be. Bwhahahaha.
So we have checked off amazing life lesson’s and side splitting humor, but we must not forget the incredible touching scenes this one in particular was a favorite for me…. Yep more Kleenex.
To sum it up Unbroken was a magnificent finale. Congratulations Scott Hildreth on a knock out ending to a series that captured my heart from the beginning. Still crossing my fingers for the Christmas Special at the Ripton’s. -
I've been waiting for this book to come out coz I'm such a big fan of Scott and I love the characters in this series, but most importantly, I love the life lessons between the pages. At the end of each book, you always get the satisfaction that you finished a really good book but at the same time, you learned something that you get to keep for the rest of your life.
Though this was Dekk and Kace's story, Ripp and Vee were also a huge part of the book. These two couples were not only close friends, but formed their own family and it was one of the strengths of this series - the family dynamics among close friends. Add in A-Train and Kelsey into the mix and it was one crazy unforgettable ride.
Shane was at a bad place at the start of the book. It showed that even good people can make bad decisions that can hurt those he loved the most. Whereas Undefeated showed Kace's rise from being weak to learning to stand up for herself, Unbroken was Shane's journey to defeat his fears and self-imposed shortcomings to be the man that Kace always thought he could be. He was this respectful and well-mannered boxer, known for calling people sir and ma'am. A paradox in itself. Yet he hadn't fully accepted that he was a good man. This was his journey to believing exactly that, and that good things will come to him because he deserved them.
Oh Scott, only you could make two ripped, muscular boxers talked about a baby's name and reduced me to tears. Simple coversation that went through the heart. You are an expert in hiding lessons behind every curse words, every joke, every chatter, every action.. Always, always had a touching lesson to be learned. The characters may insult or make fun of each other, but as a reader, I felt the deep affection like I was right there with them.
I loved Dekk channeling his inner Ripp in the ring! Loved it! And Kelsey's unorthodox way of coaching was impressive and touching.
This book may be about about boxers and their fight in and out of the ring. It may be about overcoming fears and moving forward. It may even be about learning to leave the past behind where they belong. But ultimately, for me at least, this was about family. Simply about family. You don't need to be blood-related to become one. You can make your own. And at the end of it all, through success or failure, ups and downs, you go back to the core. Which is family. -
"The future of this earth is dependent upon our children growing into adults and being equal to or greater than the generation before."
As always Hildreth teaches you a lesson in his books... this one all about family. The most important thing to most people in the world. Shane is afraid of the next step in his life and runs. He runs out of fear, worry, and remorse. The fact that he can't fix what's 'wrong,' when in fact nothing is 'wrong,' just 'special'. He finds his way with help from a very great friend.
"Children redefine love."
Very evident in this in this book is the changes a person when they become a parent. Its not easy to go from doing things for you or doing things for a spouse to doing things for someone that depends 100% on you. For everything from eating to being clean.
"You keep him healthy, Lord, and I'll keep him safe. I promise.
This book is also about letting go of the past and moving forward with your life. I am sure everyone has something they would rather forget and move on with. Shane does too.
"Living. Loving. And. Leaving the past where it belongs, behind us."
There are also the normal parts of Scott's books the ones that make you cry your eyes out, in laughter. My personal favorite besides the poor town of Anthony
"Whappity Whap. Who's go the gun now, motherfucker?"
The book is ultimately about love and it couldn't have ended on a better note. I loved Shane and Kace from the beginning and I loved them till the very end. Hildreth as always you served us an incredible book with a beautiful story. I again walk away a better person. So in saying all this,
Make changes,
and live life. -
Wow. Hildreth did it again. I mean it's not like I expected anything less. I have loved every one of the books in this series. Some of the best character's I've ever read. I have to say Ripp is my favorite, I just want to throw back a beer and listen to him tell me a friggin story.
A-Train, well he's a close gawd damn second. I sure as hell hope I get to read more of his story.
Scott thank you for telling a story the way only you can, making me think and feel and appreciate all that life has thrown my way. Big round of applause to you my friend, you've made a reader for life right here. -
5 Friendddddd Stars!!!!
There has ALWAYS for me, been something about this series. It just planted itself in my soul and these characters are like 'friends' lol. No I don't have imaginary friends.....that I'm aware of ;))
I read a lot of books. This series tho? It will always stay w/me. I was lucky enough to come across this author at a time in my life where I guess I was confused. Not that that has changed much lol. Not really confused. Maybe just unsettled. Some of us read to escape. That's me. I can't wait for that time of day where I can just 'escape'. The day I picked Undefeated up, I kept reading and thinking THIS, this is pure escape. It was so different than any of the books I had been reading and finding myself brought down. Good books. But books that I left feeling 'weighted down'. But not w/these! Believe me these stories have PLENTY of emotion and some hard to read times. But always. Always I know I can trust Hildreth to bring it back to the light ;))
I can't retell this series. And I guarantee each person you ask will have a different reason on why they loved it. That's another talent Hildreth has. One story. Thousands of different interpretations. Some authors just have that ability. He is one. So all I can say is if you find yourself ready for something new. And you are ready to just laugh at some silly times. Cry during some sad times. Awwwww during some just SWEET times. When you think you're ready to just ESCAPE. This is a good group of characters to do it with IMO.
This series. This Author. And some friends I met thru both.......I will never be able to let them ALL know how much they will always mean to me. But I bet they get me. I bet they get me each time they turn a page of a Scott Hildreth book.
Ps........still waiting for Ripp to sign his 69 Chevelle over to his Sis ;)) -
I am the type of person who saves the best until last, even when eating. I think this is what I was doing with this book. I was saving the best until last....I was savoring it on my Kindle. And it was definitely worth the wait! I just love this series and the author so much!
We return to Shane and Kace's story and I honestly did not expect them to be in the situation they were. I was disappointed in Shane's reaction, but I got it. No one knows how they will react to certain situations. Kace was obviously a strong character because I don't know if I would have been as forgiving. Their story hit close to my heart because I have someone in my family of friends who is special and funny and loving and has made our family better. Shane and Kace's love was a force in itself that just became stronger.
Scott Hildreth's philosophical words were enlightening and inspiring. I just love his writing! While there were lots of tears for me in this book, there were also lots of laugh-out-loud moments especially with my favorite book boyfriend of all time, Mike Ripton! His stories... they just make me laugh all the time! The diaper story, the swing story, the garage story......I am laughing now thinking about them!
I cannot praise this series enough! I just LOVE all the characters and am so looking forward to A-Train's story! You rock Scott! -
October 15th can not get here fast enough!!!
FULL REVIEW TO COME -
Unbroken is the final book in the "Un" series by Scott Hildreth. This series has to be one of my all time favorites and the way he wrapped up this story will surely not disappoint!
I feel that all of the characters come full circle, All becoming a better version of themselves simply by choosing to surround themselves with the people who aren't just friends, but the very definition of family.
In every one of Scott's books, the beginning of each chapter is a lesson. A lesson of self. Words that aren't just words but life lessons. Unbroken, is a life lesson. People making choices, that good or bad, right or wrong, all have something to learn from.
My lesson from these books: acceptance, growth and unconditional love.
I'm sad that the journey of these wonderful characters are over, each with a very unique look at life. However, I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet them. -
Unbroken by far comes full circle. The characters become your best friends. You smile, laugh & cry with them. There is passion, angst, joy and a hell of a lot of love. This 4th book is Mr. Hildreth's best work. The story line grips you, pulls you along and then releases you. There were many quotes that hit home. Times I literally laughed out loud and cried tears of joy. You truly don't want to miss being part of the crazy group of people. They form an unlikely family but a true family in ever sense never the less. I highly encourage you read it. It's a champion 5 star book. Kudos Scott it's a KNOCKOUT!!!

HOPE.
The definition of hope as defined by the dictionary is: noun 1. the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. 2. a particular instance of this feeling. 3. grounds for this feeling in a particular instance.
"When you least expect it, life may propose something to you. Something we might not necessarily be looking for, but without a doubt has the ability to offer your life some form of enrichment. When this time comes, all we can do is hope that we are living that particular day with an open mind, heart, and arms."
Hope is what I took away from Undefeated, the first book in this series, and what did I take away from Unbroken, the fourth and final book in this series?
Hope.
The act of acceptance means many things to many people. The very word acceptance has many definitions. It can be unnerving and scary to most individuals. In contrast, the act of accepting can be the single most freeing emotion a human will ever experience. There are times in our lives when we think we have it all figured out. We know exactly what we think our lives should and will be. We know who we are and what makes us tick, and we have our minds made up. Yet, somehow it always turns out that life has a different plan, it knows better even if we don't. If we choose to listen to the whispers in the wind, it could be the best thing that's ever happened. Accepting that some things really do just happen for a reason can be one of life's greatest lessons. It's in that moment we may just learn who and where we were destined to be.
"Sometimes it's when we least expect it, life throws a curve ball your direction. One that breaks at the last minute and flies right past you - leaving you standing there wondering what the hell just happened."
This series has come full circle. This book is the perfect final chapter and encompasses the love each and every one of us looks for, and wants to feel. This story will make you believe in that love, in the purest sense. These characters will reenforce what you trusted when you were young. Memories are the greatest gift a family can give a child. What ties a family together? It's not blood, or the same last name, it's the experiences and those memories that tie and bond us. Occasionally, where you thought you were going isn't where you're supposed to end up. Sometimes, it's not about the ending, it's the journey. It's about the very moment moment we exhale and when we realize to love "between the breaths."
What a perfect conclusion to an amazing journey. I don't dare say ending because for me, this story will never end. This is a story that will live forever in my heart. I have loved every single word.
"Children redefine love" and give us...
HOPE.

This is the best series! I have fallen in love with these characters over and over again as I've read their stories. Every single character is great! They each have their own personality and Scott makes you feel as though you're sitting in the room with them while reading.
Shane has his big fight coming up. But he has a bigger fight he's dealing with in his head. Each person reacts differently to news they're not sure how to take and Shane handled his news a bit wrong. And Kace is mad and with good reason. But he makes up for it, and you fall back in love with him and watch this strong boxer show a softer side. He's just wonderful!
But let's not forget Ripp!! Ah Ripp.....He's the funniest character I have ever read. If I could have one wish, I would love to go to a bar with him and the guys and sit there and listen to him tell story after story. He's hilarious!! You never know what is going to come out of his mouth, and the way he pauses while telling the story - you can picture him straight faced and serious while everyone else is rolling with laughter.
We also get more A-Train this time. He's another sweetie. He plays a big role. He may not say much, but when he does its important. I wish we would have gotten a proposal from him, although it was a given he was going to do it.
I hate this is the end and sincerely hope it's not. If by chance we are given more stories about these guys, I would certainly buy them. Read this and the three before. You'll be glad you did and you'll fall in love with them like I did. -
I was looking forward to Shane and Kase's final book...I waited, what felt like a life time for it. It was well worth the wait. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. I love this UN series. Scott Hildreth is an exceptional writer, he makes you think, he makes you feel and makes you evaluate everything you have done and everything you do in life. He makes you see what is important, family, friends, honesty and doing the right thing for yourself and others.
This story touched on a lot of different subjects and is very emotional. But, it shows that if you have true unconditional love, you will always make it. Shane and Kase are both perfect examples of having a hard life, finding each other and making it, together. The perfect realistic love story. -
Loved this series! This book was very emotional...but I can always count on Ripp to have me laughing my ass off,he's such a great character ! I love this "family"!
I don't want to give anything away. This one is definately one to read...!!! -
I absolutely loved Shane and Kace from the first book in this series, UNDEFEATED. RIpp had his story played out in the next two books and now finally we get the rest of Shane and Kace's story. Shane has come a long way since he met Kace, but there is still much of that scared little boy inside of him. The story is heart wrenching at times and the reader can't be sure there will be a HEA. Without too much spoilerage, let me just say that my day job is working with people who have disabilities and I was so pleasantly surprised at how this topic was handled for these characters.
The story continues with the pregnancies of Vee and Kace. Shane reflects on his relationship with Ripp:
"There are children all over the earth who have an uncle. Some have many. But as sure as I stood before him, I knew no child on or of this earth would have an uncle who would love him more or protect him better than Michael Allen Ripton."
In typical Scott Hildreth fashion, his characters morph through self reflection and external supports. Shane has had obstacles throughout his life and the journey in this book brings him to some resolution.
"Life has the ability to change, and sometimes we're the beneficiary of these changes....... Some Changes in our lives are self-imposed, while others simply happen. We're forced to accept the changes which occur in our life naturally. When we choose to make changes we're always left to wonder if our decision to do so is in our best interest. There's only one way to know for sure. Make changes."
A very good read. Not a ton of MMA action but more the world building of the MMA community. The only part of the story that didn't sit well with me, and maybe I just need to digest it more, is the change in Kace's behavior in their sexy times. I'm not sure it was necessary or that it was believable. No more hints. Read for yourself and decide how you feel about it. If the series ends here, I would be very satisfied. If not, A-Train intrigues me and I feel he has a story to tell as well. If you haven't read this author yet, go check him out! -
Perfect ending to the series. Unbroken is the fourth book of the Fighter series by Scott Hildreth. I definitely recommend reading the books in order. I got teary a couple of times in this book, but they were good tears for sure. There were so many profound thoughts in the story, it's hard to remember them all. The characters have all grown so much since the first book. (Well, except maybe for Ripp. Ha) It's what a truly talented writer strives for. Like real life, not everything in life is perfect. People have to overcome adversity in order to continue to grow. People handle things differently. You have to learn to deal with the consequences of your actions. You can decide what kind of person you are going to be, despite the circumstances of your childhood. All this was dealt with very well in these books, especially this last one. I really could hardly tear myself away from the story. To summarize but not give too much away, from the beginning of the book you learn that Shane and Kace have an extreme circumstance to deal with regarding their pregnancy and baby. The first part of the book is Shane trying to come to terms with that. Then we see his guilt over how he handled the news, and ultimately his redemption. Although the story is about Shane and Kace, the other characters of previous books all have predominant roles as well. At some point I will go back and do a reread of the entire series. Yea, it is that good. It does contain very adult language and is sexually explicit, so if that bothers you, then these books are probably not for you. Otherwise, go one click and enjoy!

So good. So exciting! I don't think I have ever been more into a story than with this one. I have been reading since book one so I could not wait to see where all the characters were going. I have to say I was not disappointed, this book was so good, just as good as the rest if not a bit more. I was so excited reading about the fight, my emotions were all over the place, I was nervous, scared, excited and reading kinda fast because I wanted to know what would happen. I was happy with the outcome.
The steam in this book was in a scale from 1-10 a 15, this author sure knows how to write good sex scenes, but if you have read any of his other books you already know that.
I hope the author decides to do a few more books, we do have a few more characters after all... Austin and A-Train for example, even if they just get novellas I'll be fine with that.
The only part of the story that not necessarily bothered me but shocked me for sure was the conversation about what babies dream about, I was like wtf? But after thinking about it I came to the conclusion that some people would actually say something like that and this is a work of fiction after all so it did not bother me.
The story made me laugh a lot, so many funny parts but also many parts were I was in the edge of my seat like the fight and the birth of the babies.
The story is truly great but I would recommend you read the other books first so that you are not lost and get to know the characters better.
HEA ending with a big bonus. -
This book starts off with Shane preparing himself for the Heavyweight Boxing Championship. But more importantly it see's him having to come to terms with the fact that he is going to be a Dad.
At the beginning he has 'run away' from all his responsibilities, leaving a pregnant Kace and all his friends behind and goes back to his roots of brawl fighting. Because of his past and what he feels about himself and his relationship with his Dad he is finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that his son may not be born 'normal'.
I felt that we learnt even more about Shane while he is moving around and trying to get away from everything and everyone. I got to know even more about his feelings on his past and why he was acting like he was. Thankfully A-Train comes and helps him see sense!
All the characters were back, I love Ripp's humour and had really missed it. He had me laughing so much! He is also going to be a Dad and I loved seeing this side of him with a pregnant Vee as well as when the baby actually arrives.
We have more A-Train, Bug, Austin and even Erik and Kelli make an appearance!
This was another fantastic book by Scott and I think was a great way to end the series though it will be a shame to say goodbye to these characters!
I highly recommend the whole series, you will laugh, cry and fall in love with all the characters. Definitely a must read!! -
You know it's a great book when a few pages in finds you overwhelmed and quoting a fake MC biker on your Facebook status: "You see, special needs means just that. He has needs that are special. It doesn’t mean he isn’t deserving of anything and everything that every other person on this earth is deserving of. It only means he has a few needs unique to him – and they’re described as special. Special. You know the definition of special? Better or more important than others" So amazing!
And that's sort of how this book went. Everyone was a little deeper this time. Except Ripp. Never Ripp.
Shane starts this book overwhelmed and disappointing. He ends this book as a hero to his friends and family, just by being himself.
I loved this book. I didn't want it to end. I wanted to hear more about babies, about how these relationships grow and just more of these people in general. I hope we get Alec the A-Train some how. He's as solid as the rest of them.
Another great book by Hildreth! -
Loved Loved Loved!!!!!!! it. Really I do not know how to explain how much I love the way he writes, some of it just seems like everyday stuff, but I love it, like I love the dinner table talk at Ripps parents, Ripp and Deckk getting tampons, so funny. Loved the back of the truck in the garage, Loved when Ripp told A-Train about it, when A-Train went looking for Dekk, made me cry. Would read anything about anyone of the people in this book, so if you were not done with all of them yeah! like maybe A-Train and Bug, Austin.
Great Great job, and people if you have not read any of Scott's books you really, really should, I don't usually say anything just read and put in the stars, but seriously there is something about his books, they make me laugh, cry, I remember them after reading, a lot of books I can't remember a thing about them a day later. Another reason for not saying anything I really can't write lol, so even more appreciation for authors :) -
Unbroken (Fighter Erotic Romance, #4)
Well this is the end of another great series, as I said I couldn't really stop myself from reading this series.
We are back to Shane and Kace and so their story continues. I love how these books are written because in each book you still get to see all the other characters from previous books.
This series is another one I would highly recommend.
Scott's Hildreth is an amazing author and I am pretty much guarantee I will be reading everything he has written. I haven't stopped reading the MC Sinners Series and The Fighter Series. I love them. They are exciting, great story lines, hot, romance and I am a happy ever after type so these all fill my need for great romance novels with the hot steamy romance I enjoy.
This is another 5 star read! -
Loved it
This book was everything I hoped it would be. I really hope it's not the end of this series because I LOVE Dekar, Ripp and Hello A-Train! This book has everything for lovers of fighter Erotic Romance, it has some violence, language and oh good GRAVY the sex! I love Scott Hildreth's books, he writes with intelligence, compassion and passion. He's an author who does not pussy foot around anything and is refreshing and real.
This book should get more than five stars but Amazon won't let me do that. Read it, read the whole series and fall in love with this family of misfits (not really, misfits). -
When I read from Shane's POV I feel his calm demeanor. His internal peace and soft speaking. When I read from Ripp I feel his rowdy, boisterous behavior that makes you fall in love with the character. This shows the skill of the author. He knows how to separate the character personalities, making each an individual.
This wasn't a typical story where you find out some bad news and you are distraught but make the correct decision. Nope! These are real ppl who sometimes make bad decisions, eff up and their journey to fix their errors. Not a raunchy novel (you get a cpl of sex scenes), but this is a novel of life's journey for these characters. Great read! -
Shane's story is just as awesome as it was when we first met him; only now he is growing up and figuring out how to love and accept. I loved every minute of his growth and learning along with him!
Of course I will never get enough of Ripp and his view and how the world works and his unique story telling abilities.
I fall in love every time I read these books and I am just hoping we here about A-Train and Bug next. -
It's never to late to "Come of Age" as Dekk and all the boys have proven.
And it's never actually quite as painful as one assumes it's going to be. Presumed loss is recognized as experience and the future is what you make it.
There are some edges we should never lose though, and fortunately "the boys" seem to be of that same mind!
Ooh-rah! -
Hildreth never ceases to amaze me!
In the beginning, I was left wondering what was going on. Scott didn't leave me hanging for long. This book not only made me laugh hysterically, as Ripp has that effect on me, but it also warmed my heart. I even teared up a time or two. This series is amazing and I will remember the characters always!
