There are a lot of things in this world that are easy to escape from. Having a son you didn't ask for isn't one of them.

Mack is a nomad. He likes his own space and he struggles with emotion. His past is grey and his future looks about the same. That is until his ex-girlfriend dies and his son is handed over to him. A two month old baby he didn't know existed. Until now.

His world comes crashing down around him.

Desperate, he hires a nanny.

Jaylah has gotten herself into some serious trouble, so when she sees the job opening for a nanny pop up, she jumps on it. Of course she's not a nanny, but she figures she can pull it off. I mean, how hard can it be?

She's thrown into a world of diapers, hourly feedings and a whole lot of laundry. She's also introduced to the most rugged, gorgeous man she's ever had the pleasure of meeting.

The best part, he's the baby's father.

The worst part, he's a biker.

Their sexual tension is huge, but he's a hard nut to crack. She'll get in, though. She makes it her mission to break through the wall Mack has built so high around himself.

Her world is about to spiral out of control, and she's taking Mack along for the ride.

Best of the series so far!

The following ratings are out of 5:
    Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
    Romance: 💚🖤💙💜❤️
    Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
    Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
    World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍
    Character development: 😤😥😊🤩😘

The heroine: Jaylah - she stole drugs from a drug dealer in order to payoff a debt for her boyfriend. She wasn’t thinking ahead enough to know she would eventually have to pay the drug dealer back. Her boyfriend took off as soon as his debts were settled, leaving her holding the bag. So when an opportunity comes up which gives her a place to hide and a good wage that she can save up to pay off her debts, she takes it right away.

The Hero: Mack (a.k.a. Mia Koda) - adopted brother to the president of the Jokers Wrath MC. They have been brothers since Maddox’s parents adopted Mack at five years old. Mack is a member of the motorcycle club as well. Mack was in love with Ingrid until she left him and twelve months later a woman comes to the door with his baby son Diesel and says Ingrid’s will was clear that the baby should go to Mack.

The Story: Mack wants nothing to do with the baby so he hires Jaylah as a live in nanny that will be fully in charge of the baby. Jaylah thinks the fact that the big brooding man wants nothing to do with his own son is odd, but she needs the money so takes the job immediately. Though she knows next to nothing about everything about babies.

“There are a few really pretty girls, but the rest are males. Big, burly males that look like they’ve dropped out of heaven and been rolled in leather. They’re gorgeous.”

The book is mostly told in Jaylah’s point of view with the odd chapter here and there in Mack’s. Stella Bloom and Charles Lawrence did the narration and I like both of their voices. They did the prior two books as well. I liked Mack in Melancholy and though he was a broody jerk, I liked the mystery surrounding him in this one.

There was chemistry between Mack and Jaylah from early on and though he was a playboy at the beginning of the book, he soon became hot for Jaylah and started softening up towards both Jaylah and Diesel and it wasn’t hard to feel for him as he was obviously in pain and he had trouble showing any kind of emotion other than anger. This was the best of the three books in the series so far.

So we meet the non nanny Jaylah who is entangled with a drug lord who wants his money back long story short without giving too much away with the story she got the non bright idea to work as a nanny, and this is where Mack comes in..Now keep in mind Jaylah is by no real meaning of the word a nanny..

Jaylas ex got himself into some crap, he owed money, Jaylah bailed him out by stealing drugs, selling them and giving him the cash, now the dealer is after what's owing plus double..

"I'm Jaylah. I'm here for the nanny position."
    "You're a nanny?"
"Excuse me, buddy, but I'll have you know I'm the best damn nanny there is.What did you expect? Mrs Doubtfire?"

And it just gets funnier!! And Funnier as the story goes along!!

    HEA:

    ***

About the plot: After the end of the second part, we know that Mack finds out that he has a son and the child's mother is dead. After his broken heart he can not cope with presence of a boy. He employs an unusual babysitter, a very sexy babysitter, who is not even a babysitter. Jaylah's in trouble, and this work becomes her salvation. Their attraction is not one-sided but the ghost of the dead woman and child whom he does not accept not allow them to move forward. They're going to put in a lot of trouble and a lot of bad will have to happen in order to be able to look through the past.

Why 4 stars? My biggest complaint, that part run quite far from the motorcycle club. More focused on relationships and their problems than all the staff club. There are some great scenes in the group, although sometimes they are far from my imagination about bad biker club.

Final thoughts: I weeping the entire second half of the book! Very emotional part. Once again, Bella made that I fell in love with the characters. I cried for Jaylah, and I am so glad she got her happy ending. They all deserve it. Good job!

“But most of all . . . she didn’t fight for me. You do. You fight for me, you fight for my son, and you fight for those you love. That’s what makes you better.”

And so it was not so sad, there's also some really funny scenes! I just mention to you the scene where the girls play strip poker with the challenges!! OMG. And of course Jaylah's mom is irreplaceable!

    “Oh, my.”
    “Mom, we weren’t—”
“How rude of me to walk in while Mack is making love with my baby.”
Oh. Jesus. She did not just say that.

    Yes, she did!

Next in the series? Yes. Pippa and Tyke story! But also we have here migration to another Bella Jewel series - Marcus Tandem form 'Til Death!

  • Jen

I'm going to rate this a 4.5 stars...but truly I enjoyed it as if it was a five star!! This is definitely my favorite book of the series! There were only a few issues I had that I couldn't ignore, and if you all read my updates, you would know what the hero did to really irk me at one point!! Besides that, and sometimes Mack being a total douche when it came to his baby..(at first)this book had humor, wicked hot sex....and friggen studly biker dudes that I could only dream of ever coming across!! LOL I really loved the heroine; Jaylah...she cracked me up and it was so entertaining watching an inexperienced woman when it comes to babies; try to be a nanny!!! Maybe it is because it hit close to home with me watching my young Grandson; but gosh I just chuckled at the things she went through with little Diesel!

This installment is book #3 of the Joker's Wrath series. We were introduced to Mack in the last book, and I fell in love with him right off the bat. Not because he had a charming personality though! It was more the outside package that I fell in love with!!! (Shallow, I know!) Mack is a tall, Native American man with long, thick,(get your mind out of the gutter!!)shiny black hair down to his waist!!! YUMMMMMMMY! I am so down with that, it isn't even funny! He's a man that has no problem getting the ladies; but all he wants them for is a romp in the sack, and then it's time to move on. He is a jerk about it too. Then comes a shocker when one day his past catches up with him, and he is left with a two month old son...His ex-love of his life, died and unbeknownst to Mack has left a baby alone in the world. There is a huge scandal that surrounds Mack's ex, and it is one that is hard to swallow. The thing is though, is Mack has major issues, and just plain isn't willing to take care of his son..so he hires a nanny to do it for him. Enter Jaylah!!! This woman has some debt to pay...she got herself into a major bad situation because of her ex-boyfriend and now she has some big time drug dealers after her if she doesn't pay up soon. She decides to pretend that she is a nanny and takes on the job that Mack is offering!!! Oh boy!The reality of her situation catches up to her very fast!! To top it all off, Mack and Jaylah have major sexual tension between the two of them!!!! This sounds like a real mess waiting to happen...doesn't it?! Well, it sure is; but wow...it kept me hooked to the storyline and I did love every minute of the journey!!!

I am so glad that I gave this MC series by Bella Jewel a chance. I have enjoyed it more and more with each book I have read, and I can't wait to dive into book #4! If you are a fan of MC books, and alpha male bikers..then this is a must read series for you! I can't gush enough about it..It has been such a pleasure to spend my week with the brothers of Joker's Wrath!

  • Wendys Wycked Words

Re-read 5/13/17 Still my favorite of the series, don't know if I have the patience to read all the others :P

I've been re-reading some of the Reapers books, so I was really in the mood for a good biker story. This one definitaly delivered. Since I'm known for reading books out of order, I started with this ons (best reviews), so I haven't read the first two books yet. This did not affect the storyline for me, so they can be read as stand alones.

Jaylah has found herself in a very difficult possition. By trying to save her exboyfriend, she pissed off a very scary badass drugdealer. He's giving her two weeks to come up with the more she ows him...or else.. Ofcourse Jay doesn't want to die, so she respons to an add for a live-in nanny. This will give her a safe place to live and safe money so she can pay of the scary druglord.

There are only two problems....One, her new boss (the baby-daddy) is a broody, moody, but very attractive badass biker, who likes being an asshole. Two, she doesn't know shit about babies, and this one is only two months old.

Damn this book had me cracking up....there was some really funny stuff that almost made me pee my pants. There were also parts that pissed me off. Mack was a real asshole for more than half of this book. Jay however is not a doormat...I really liked this heroine, she was funny and feisty, still I think she forgave him too fast, but I just hold a mean grudge ;)

Well enough said..I enjoyed reading this one. It had attractive bikers, suspence, humor, steam and a heroine I didn't want to strangle !!

    4 stars from me.

☆☆☆☆☆5 Action Packed Sexy Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Ladies...Rev up your engines because Anguish by Bella Jewel is SMOKING HOT!! I heard so many great things about this series and I was beyond thrilled when Bella offered me an ARC and let me just tell you that I am now a bonafide fan of the Joker’s Wrath MC series now. How could you not a love a book when there is a sexy as sin brooding MC biker who will melt your panties with one look? And to top it off he can sing? Bella Jewel gave her readers a real taste of what an MC book should entail. This book had action, suspense, romance and off the charts sexy moments. It was filthy, raw and dirty sexy good!!!

    #ANGUISH

Family. Honor. Trust. Respect. Loyalty. Friendship. Brotherhood. If you are a true MC fan, you know that these words are associated with the MC lifestyle. And the Joker’s Wrath MC is no exception. They protect one another and have each other’s back to another level. So in this action packed book, Bella Jewel will give you a thrilling heart pounding action MC in Anguish and at the same time intertwine layers of romance, family and honor.

The brooding dominant Mack is the biker whose heart is guarded. He knew what it was to love and be unwanted. And recently he knew the pain what it felt to lose someone important to him. As a single dad, Mack is not your typical father figure. He is a little aloof and distant with his son. So when Mack is in need of a nanny, he hires Jaylah for his baby son, Diesel.

Jaylah is not your typical heroine. She has the exceptional case of bad luck. Bad luck in choosing and trusting an ex-boyfriend who ended up leaving her on the short end of the stick. Trouble soon finds Jaylah when a debt unpaid from her ex-boyfriend begins to hang over her head. And if she doesn’t pay this debt soon, the only thing Jaylah has to worry about is her impending death from a notorious man, who wants his money back. So with no other choice, Jaylah takes the job as a nanny. But what Jaylah didn’t expect was she will be a nanny to one of the Joker’s Wrath MC. And of course she didn’t expect to fall head over heels in love with her employer, Mack. Can business, pleasure and love mix? Will Jaylah be able to tame and get the heart of Mack?

    #ANGUISH_1

Mack and Jaylah’s relationship was HOT!! In and out of the bedroom, these two had chemistry emitting off them. There was no denying the connection and bond that these two shared. Jaylah pushed Mack like no other. She got under his skin. She didn’t cower when it came it Mack. She stood up to him and gave him sass. Jaylah’s sass and independence was one of the many reasons, Mack couldn’t stay away from her. Like a moth to a flame, these two were drawn to each other. As trouble looms for the MC, Jaylah and Mack, one thing is for certain they will fight back. So be prepared for one hell of a warfare in Anguish.

Bella Jewel...I freaking adore you!! You did an amazing job in this book! Anguish had it all and I loved every moment you took your readers on. Although Mack and Jaylah was the main focus of this book, the secondary characters played an important vital roles in the story line. Anguish was raw, thrilling, and tantalizing sexy. This book will have you begging for more of the Joker’s Wrath MC and you do not want to say goodbye to the Joker’s Wrath family. Simply, all I can tell you is to go read ANGUISH. Bella Jewel will not disappoint you. I can't wait for Marcus and Katia's book!! Bella- I'm hooked!!

    2.5 I don't like you, Mack.

Can't say I liked this book too much. True, it got better later on, but I wanted to DNF it at the beginning. I don't know if I'm glad I finished it or it was a waste of time...

The male MC has a weird way of dealing with his problems and I really don't like his personality. I know he's suppose to be the good guy but sometimes I felt like I could relate to the bad guy better than to him. The bad guy has a reason for being like that, Mack is just an as*hole.

The female MC isn't too great either, she's just not as bad.

The other books in this series were way better.

  • Candace

The third book in the Jokers' Wrath series, 'Anguish', was my favorite so far. Like the earlier books in this series, it was a quick read with plenty of action and angst to keep my interest piqued. It was funny and heartwarming at times. It was also a surprisingly emotional story despite the short length, but not in a bawl your eyes out way. Lots of action! Hot sex scenes! Integration of characters from prior books in the series! Aside from the ease with which Jaylah forgives Mack's transgressions, I have no complaints. It was a highly entertaining story!

    Audio re-read 10/19/18
I clearly loved this book when I first read it but the audio wasn't the best for me. The female narrator just made the heroine seem very young and immature to me and it started to get on my nerves. Also for some reason listening to the story made me realize just how much the author described the heroine as "squeaking" either in happiness or nervousness and that wasn't super pleasant. Still a good story though and I did enjoy getting to hear about Mack and Jaylah again.

  • Kate

This is my favourite book of the series so far. It has everything I always look for in a book. 4 anguished stars.

Mack the hero has it all.

Tortured soul, emotionally detached and broody as hell. ✔
Good looks and great heritage. ✔
Built like a shit brickhouse, soft and gooey but a biker with a beautifully baby boy. ✔

    Jaylah the heroine compliments Mack.

    Sassy and beautiful. ✔
    Crazy pants. ✔
overly stunning and just right for Mack. ✔

Jaylah meant well but didn't really think things through so she gets into some bother with a drug dealer and to get out of it again she takes the job as a nanny only she isn't a nanny.

Mack has a son with a previous love but he doesn't want to be a father for some really shitty reasons. He needs a nanny. He gets Jaylah.

So they don't get off to the best start there is. Mack thinks Jay is crazy and well Jay thinks Mack is a douche. Over time and a lot of misunderstandings they start to get to know one another. Before they get down and dirty there is the "poop incident" which is bloody hilarious but the banter between the two as well as the chemistry was fabtastic. Mack due to past experiences is emotionally detached and has locked himself in Fort Knox.

  • Liv ☾

    2 STARS!

☾DNF at like 70% I just couldn't finish. I thought I would like it and I didn't. This is just one of those books that you really want to like but cant (at least for me anyways). I didn't like the main character, it's nothing personal to the book. In fact I enjoyed the way it was written and the dual pov's. I just did not like Mack and Jaylah enough to be able to finish.

  • ★¸. • * ° * ༺*Blanka*༺*°°*•.¸. ♥★

I am not a huge fan of this Biker Series, I read the first book and didn't think much of it, and then this one wasn't any better. Don't get me wrong I loved Marcus and Katia in Til Death but these bikers are just assholes!!
Jaylah was sassy and fun so what went wrong? Once she caught some feelings she turned into someone completely different, and to me she lost her sass.. And Mack was an ass, and he kept pushing her away and she was like a dog latched to a bone! And I kept screaming at her wake up! get your shit and go, have him beg for once..but nothing!!
Then on top of it we got a small glimse of Marcus from Til Death and I started feeling more anger towards him too. Maybe I am just angry today, or maybe this book pissed me off! But I mean the man was sleeping with his brothers wife what does that say about his character? Piece of shit! I don't care what his brother did to his wife until she left him, Mack should have stayed away but oh no, he had to get her pregnant! Dick! And then he starts banging the shit out of her, no rubber, and never even asks if she can get pregnant, like come on you have a two month old you have yet to hold but you're ready for your second?!

  • Vintage

H is bad mannered, bad tempered, poor daddy material, hung up on a dead ex, and a cheating jerk, but the heroine is hysterical and can hold her own. Well, she does until they have sex, but still...she's better than most.

Plot moppet bonding was pretty sweet as well.

  • Lo Bookfrantic

holy crap... Loved this book kept me wanting more since the beginning. So much suspense, action, and hot scenes I can't even explain. You just have to read this one was HOT HOT...and now to wait for Marcus story gah I know that one will be even better *sigh*

  • CasPerfitz~SLiTsReaD

I am a fan of Bella Jewel … but for some reasons, I am just not a fan of this series (so far).

Same as the other two before this, there are too many parts of the story that just turns me off. Like does it make it okay or acceptable to snarl and be rough with the nanny (even with sexual innuendo) because she had the hots for him or maybe because she is desperate for the money?

I don’t get the chance to answer. His fingers curl around my arm and he hauls me down the hall and into his room. He slams the door behind him and spins, pinning me to the wall by pressing his body against mine and putting his hands up beside my head. Holy mother. This is extremely close, and I’m getting a great view of his gorgeous face.
“Back up,” I breathe. Wow, that didn’t come out exactly how I’d planned.
“There are rules,” he growls. “The first is that you stay the fuck outta my business. That means you don’t share it, nor do you involve yourself in it. The second is that I bring women over, you wanna live here and keep this job, you fuckin’ live with it.”

Mack's constant angry attitude towards Jaylah whose only fault was taking the babysitting job gets unreasonably exhausting. I don’t even know when and if he fell in love with Jaylah cause he was still not over his ex. And what is it with these bikers not taking their women out on a date? Hehe. Just saying. ;)

Also, did Mack even felt remotely sorry for sleeping with his brother’s wife and to the point of expecting her to leave his brother for him?

Is Jaylah really that stupid to put her life in danger to save an ex who left her?

These are just some that had me shaking my head.

And it’s also because of those same reasons, I just couldn’t like nor relate with the two lead characters. Sorry.

But, I did enjoy the humour… Specially that time when Jaylah threw a dirty diaper on one of the whore Mack was f*cking loudly. I guess the nanny had had enough!

I enjoyed the action and suspense scene despite it being brief.

And there’s a lot of sexual tensions, and of course, sex scenes... :D Are they hot? Maybe.. lol. That’s all I can to say on that.

Just a quick recap on what the story is about : Mack’s ex died leaving him his baby, a baby he didn’t know existed. Still hurting from his ex, he couldn’t even bear to look at his son. So he hires a nanny. Jaylah knows nothing about babies… But when she got herself in deep trouble, and in desperate need of money, she took the job as a nanny. And it doesn’t hurt that she was instantly crushing/lusting for the baby’s father. What she didn’t expect was his broody and arrogant attitude.

  • Maida»-(¯`v´¯)-»

RATING: 4 Sexy Miakoda Hearts!!! =)

“Never had somethin’ that was all mine or real. You’re real, and you’re all mine.”

With the first two books in her Jokers’ Wrath MC series, Bella Jewel didn’t have me convinced that this is a series worth investing time into. But, Anguish changed that. This is exactly what I was looking and hoping for from this series.

Again, we are presented with a conventional plot of drug dealers, cheating exes and awful pasts, yet, in this, it catches you unaware, its strangely likeable flow coupled with satisfactory writing, delivering an overall gratifying read. What its predecessors lacked, Anguish made up for with humor, likeable characters, a sexy and sweet romance, and a swoon worthy couple.

This expands on Miakoda’s (Mack) character, which we first meet in Melancholy, – showing both his sexy, alpha biker qualities as well as his sweet side. Mack is a complex character, and no matter however much his past is a redundant exemplar, his intricacy does not change as the story progresses, rather allures us further until we have built a solid connection to him, and can’t help but fall in love with him.

“We’re in the now. And right now, the only things I want are you and my son.”

Jaylah is my kind of heroine. Sassy, curvy, hilarious, and all attitude; her character is simply charming, and it helps that she is not a doormat. Jay stuck to what she believed in, and didn’t take any shit from Mack, giving as good as she got. I appreciated her spunk, and I adored her with Mack’s baby boy, Diesel.

The romance is brimming with sexual tension, sizzling chemistry, hilarious banter and endearing moments sure to make any romance reader swoon. Jay and Mack are so good together, and the slow build up and angst they bring, I ate it up, cause it was just that wonderful. And surprisingly, this wasn’t merely all sex, but also had real emotion-filled romance.

Despite having the typical story arc, Anguish managed – quite effectively – to hold my interest. A definite jump up from the previous books, I genuinely enjoyed this story! Now, I am looking forward to Pippa and Tyke’s story next, not to mention, Marcus and Katia’s story, Til Death; so excited for this one!

Can be read as a standalone.

    “She was sweet.

You're stunning. I like stunning. Stunning makes me want to kiss every inch of you.

    She loved me.
But she was too scared to tell me how it was.
You're not. That makes me want to f*ckin' keep you
But most of all..she didn't fight for me.
You do. You fight for me, you fight for my son and you fight for those you love.

    Spoilers

I like for my Heros and heroines to be over their ex's whether they are dead or alive and i felt as though Mack really wasn't over Ingrid.. She was mentioned a bit too much for my liking. I understand the lose of a loved one such as death is harder to deal with then a break up but it would have been nice if Mack's love for Jaylah was more.. he does mention it once that she's "better" then Ingrid but I just didn't feel that while reading this.

His love for Ingrid really shined in this book, the letter he wrote to her years ago shows his emotions but he doesn't really express his love of our heroine like that.

the fact that Mack said her name while he was having sex with Jaylah was a major turnoff!! I don't care what the reasoning is. Also, I just couldnt connect with him due to the fact he was sleeping with his brother's wife - this is prior to him being with Jaylah.

I’m torn how to rate this. I do agree with my first read that this is the best one for me, but I can’t say that Jaylah wasn’t a dumbass. She’s better than the previous h’s, but still makes some pretty stupid decisions like stealing from a drug dealer to help out her cheating BF. IMO, the entire series has a level of immaturity mostly from the h’s, but the H’s aren’t great either. Some parts are ridiculous. Ok, not great. Not gritty or overly serious.

    ****Original Review****
Mack's story. At the end of book 2, Mack's ex whom he really loved has dies and he finds out that he has a baby. Enter Jaylah the world's worst nanny who is hiding out with her own problems.
I liked this book much more than the last one, Jaylah was not a dumbass like the previous heroines.

This one is my favorite thus far in the series.

Another MC lite, fluffy romance with no triggers. Strong, brooding H trying to reconcile his first love's death and adapting to the baby son delivered to him upon the death of the mother. Mack (a hot native american) has faced much rejection during this life and finds it hard to connect with those around him. He shuns his son and hires a nanny (the h) who is not really a nanny but who is running from a drug dealer. The good things about the book include the H finally connecting with his son through the efforts of the h and the high sexual tension between the H/h. I connected more with the H because the h was one of those cute girls who is always joking and coming up with silly remarks even in the most tense situations. At times she bordered on TSTL for me. Overall, a good romance that leaves you feeling good because the baby daddy finally loves the baby and the H/h have their HEA as a family.

    4.5 Stars

    I loved this.
Jaylah was amazing. Loyal, protective, witty and super funny.
Mack reminded me lot KA's heroes: a guy of a few words, possessive and hot *sigh*
Action packed as all MC’s stories.
Can’t wait for Marcus and Katia story

    Spoilers

I was really looking forward to Mack's book. I totally fell for Mack in the last book. He was so dark, broody, and mysterious. And while I did love this book there were a few things that didn't work for me and caused this book to be a 4 star read instead of 5. Mack was just so sexy, and while I loved him to pieces I hated the fact that he was madly in love with another woman (who died) before Jaylah. I don't have problems with widow type stories unless I feel like the new love is second best. And there were many times I did in fact feel like Jaylah didn't measure up to Ingrid(dead ex and mother of Mack's son). The first time him and Jaylah had sex he called her Ingrid and I wanted to puke. My heart broke for Mack and his pain but I hated that Jaylah seemed second place to a ghost. And a shitty ghost at that, because I didn't like Ingrid. She was a stupid bitch that was married to Mack's brother and slept with both brothers. She wouldn't leave Mack's brother and be with Mack like he wanted and she ran when she found out she was pregnant trying to pass the baby off as her husbands. I hated her and felt Mack's love was wasted on a pos.

That brings me to the second problem I had with this book, the way Mack treated his son. He wanted nothing to do with his baby Diesel. He didn't touch him, talk to him, feed him, nothing. He wouldn't even say his name and it bugged the shit out of me. Yes Mack comes around thanks to Jaylah pushing him and starts to be a father but I lost some respect for him at that point. Jaylah was amazing. I loved her and at times I felt she was too good for Mack because she wasn't his #1 love and she was too awesome to be second place. On a small side note Jaylah's mom was so funny. I liked the plot and for the most part I like this book but like I said those two above listed problems took away some of my enjoyment of this read. Oh well on to the next book.

    3.75 stars!

After reading MELANCHOLY, I've waited for the release of this book ... I saw a glimpse of Jaylah, and I liked her spunk from the very beginning.

I know it's not rare to read novels with a heroine with a fighting spirit. I like Jaylah a lot, she's feisty and she's a very interesting character.

What I like about Bella Jewel's novel is that, I never got bored reading the stories, there's always something good waiting on every page.

This is a good novel, I love the story flow, I love the characters and the character build up, it wasn't hurried, it wasn't cheezy, it wasn't dark. It was kind of exciting and fun to read.

I was having a problem with the ratings, for me, the novel was good, but I was expecting something MORE...whatever that is, I just wanted to read something better, better than Melancholy, or WINGMAN, which is my favorite. I rated this with 3.5/3.75 stars, but... It doesn't feel right to give it a 3 stars, coz usually, when I rate a novel with 3.5, it is rated as 3 stars, so I chose to gave it 4 stars... I mean, after all the crappy novels that I've read, this one stands out amongst them.

This one is my favorite book out of the series, I really loved Jay, "plays with your hairdryer?" He stops, turns, and gives me a mortified expression. "What?" I say, shrugged. "You have nice hair...it's only an assumption." Mack he's seriously bada**, "you sleepin' on the couch in eff-me panties?" Jay I felt for her so many times and I just wanted to reach in the book and let her know she wasn't alone, "well," I hiss, turning and facing him, "if I'd called you by another man's name, I'm sure you would have been crying too." As the book progresses we see Mack progress and I enjoyed seeing him change, although one thing didn't and that was his need for his girl, "before we go in, I'm parkin' my bike, liftin' that skirt and effin' you hard and fast." We got to meet Marcus in this book and he's in the upcoming book 'Til Death' and seeing his reactions and getting a feel for the type of person he is I honestly can't wait to read his book.

I loved Mack and Jay's Book!

For me it was the best in the series so far. Mack was definitely standoffish and broody but Jaylay was the right type of woman to stand up to him and push him out of the bubble of solitude he forced himself to live in.

I loved her sassy attitude and their relationship just worked from the beginning, even if it got off to a rocky start

This is definitely one of my favorite Biker Series.

I can't wait to read Marcus and Kai's story! Going to be EPIC!!

Thanks for an awesome series Bella Jewel.

Anguish, third book in the series, Mack & Jayla’s story.

I can definitely say that this one is better than the first two books in the series. Jayla might come across as stupid but she is very loyal and cares deeply while Mack loves fiercely. They had a rollercoaster start but ended together beautifully. It was a quick read for me as I enjoyed reading it.

Another good read👌🏻, onto the next book Desolation😊

hmm well I don't get why Mack was surprised that his brother hated him when he continued an affair with his brothers wife?! I'm not a fan of cheating and can totally see why his brother was pissed.

Oh dear. Okay, what can I say about this book??? It is probably one of the best I've read from this author. Like, seriously. I think this is my favorite book in the series...Probably until 'Til Death comes out. :p
The characters are all fantastic! We had Maddox, Krypt, Ash, Santana and now Mack & Jaylah. Mack is probably my favorite so far. He is just....

...yeah. He is one hell of a biker!!!! ...And he gave me whiplash. Which is a good thing in my book. I am weird like that.

Jaylah. Can she be my bestie???

I loved this girl. She made me laugh and cry during this crazy ride of a book. One of the best female characters I've ever read!!!
If you're looking for something emotional, funny and hot this is the book.
I fell in love with the characters so much that by the end of this book I was going like this...
