Scooby-Doo and the Phantom Cowboy Reviews

I was in the mood for some Scooby-Doo so picked this one. I thought it was a comic, but it was not. Oh well! It was fun being along while the gang solved the mystery of a ghost haunting an Old West Ghost Town exhibit. The book was basic and could be read by elementary grade kids.

This was a great Scooby book. The story and mystery was well developed even though it was pretty obvious who was responsible for the ghost and how they made it all happen. There was really only even one suspect at all, but I still enjoyed the story. The pictures were also great.

This is one of the better Scooby-doo books I have found. A good narrative that has a good flow from start to finish.

Michael, age 5, did two video reviews of this Scooby-Doo book--one of his all-time favorite Scooby-Doo books. First, he did a review of all the words he learned reading this book:

I'd say this is probably a reading level 4 book. It's an original adventure for those who watch the television show which is nice. Any Scooby fan will enjoy this. The illustrations are very well done too.

Um, well it's that I liked the guy with the coattails. And, um, I liked when Shaggy and Scooby dressed up like phantom cowboys.
