Very fun read that had me laughing out loud and loving the chemistry between Addie and Chase. Especially all the fun matchmaking antics of Addie's aunt Janie. She was a hoot and definitely someone I would have a blast being friends with if she were real. Actually, now that I think about it, I do have several friends who are older than Addie's aunt and have the same personality that I absolutely love hanging out with (yes I hang out with 90 year olds and love it)!
Addie lives in Idaho and has just found out her ex-fiance, who called off the wedding, has already married the woman for whom he cancelled their wedding for. Addie needs to get away. She has vacation time already set up. So when her dad's sister calls and invites her to come stay at her home in Georgia, Addie accepts and is off for a little R&R and healing. She's going to eat her aunt's delicious creations, work on her photography and stay away from all men. That is until her aunt starts scheming.
Chase agrees to pick up his neighbor Janie's niece from the airport for her. He'll already be close by there and can save her the trip. He truly hopes that her personality isn't quite as spitfire-y as the last time he saw her when she was 11. Her red hair and attitude were not the best combination. But at least all he has to do is pick her up, deliver her to Janie and not see her again. Right?
WRONG!!!
When Chase and Addie meet again, sparks fly. And let me tell you it was seriously a cute re-meet. I loved it and was laughing. Especially at aunt Janie's part in it. Hee Hee! And Chase is definitely not getting off the hook so easily from only picking up and dropping off Addie while she's in town. I mean, come on, it's aunt Janie. She is a meddler and matchmaker extraordinaire and won't stop with her not so subtle antics.
So when Chase starts having trouble at work and with an old girlfriend, he decides to approach Addie to see if the two of them can team up. What better way to get aunt Janie off their cases and to stop the brewing trouble with his old girlfriend than to hook up and be boyfriend/girlfriend. Yep, no problem there, all will be hunky dory and smooth sailing. Until it's not. Until the sparks don't stop flying and these two can't deny the attraction that is bubbling between them.
The problem? Addie lives in Idaho and Chase lives in Georgia. Two separate lives, two separate career dreams that don't really work together. If they can just get past the deception of dating each other and not share their feelings all will be well...until that Georgian Moon comes out. Then all bets are off.
Fun group of characters between Addie's family, Chase's family and his friends. And let me say that those sparks I'm talking about...EVERYWHERE. These two have so many close encounter kisses that built up the tension and then had me laughing about what happens every time. Fun, fun, fun.
This author was having a sale on the three books in this series. I kept seeing it mentioned that I decided I really wanted to read it. I've been thinking about it a lot, especially since I have a copy in a romance collection I bought a while ago. I've been working my way through the
Love and Romance: 15 Sweet Contemporary Romances collection. So I pulled up my copy and loved it. Every spare minute I had, I was reading. Then I was debating about the next two and if I wanted to splurge on buying them because heaven knows I have lots of books on my kindle to read. When I went to look at book two on Amazon, low and behold I had it already. I got it as a freebie a while ago. Woohoo!!! So, I decided that since I loved the first one, and started reading the second one, that I would splurge on the third one. It was $0.99. I'm a real big spender right?! *blushing*
The second and third book are Chase's twin sisters' stories and I'm loving the second one, I'm about halfway through it now. I am definitely a fan of Cindy Roland Anderson's and have been thinking, "why did I wait so long to read these?"

This was a charming read! Addie's getting over a broken engagement, so when an opportunity to visit her Aunt Janie in Georgia comes up she decides to go for it; a change of scenery is just what she needs. I hope I’m half as active as Aunt Janie when I’m her age, I thought it was great how she embraced life and kept herself so busy. One of Aunt Janie’s hobbies is matchmaking and she has big plans for Addie and her good looking neighbor Chase.
This is just the kind of sweet romance that I love. I liked that they had a bit of a history, added a nice level to their relationship. Addie was a likable heroine, very easy for me to connect with her. She has a quick wit and easy going personality, but can hold her own when she needs to. Chase was a great leading man. He’s the lead singer in his country band, a successful businessman, good looking, charming and I’m sure I could list a few more things. Together they had great chemistry and I loved how they would banter together and it was great to see real feelings develop from such a fun friendship. I wasn’t sure how things were going to work out, they have some obstacles to overcome, but it was sure fun to be along for the ride.
I loved the setting for the book, a charming small town in Georgia. Made me want to plan a trip down there and do my own photo shoot. I thought the plot was fun and the writing well done, was paced well and kept me wanting more. Throw in some swoony moments and I was hooked.
Overall, a sweet romance that will make your heart happy.

While a solid romance, and very sweet, this had enough rough spots to keep it mostly average. Serviceable, but average.
I liked Addie from the start. She's sweet and eager to meet people and help them. She's pretty naïve, in a religious kind-of-way—the kind of naïve you get with someone who has sheltered themselves from course things like alcohol and cursing and sex. And to be clear, I didn't see that as a problem with the story at all, just an aspect of her personality, and one that I found engaging. I'm not sure I buy Addie as the mainstream protestant as written, though. She felt pretty Mormon to me and I wonder how non-Mormons would perceive her moral choices (the trappings were solidly mainstream protestant, but she still felt LDS to me).
Chase is sweet, too, but in a more rugged way. I didn't feel he was sheltered, even a little bit, but it was still pretty clear that his faith had meaning in his life and that he chose to live up to the expectations he supported in that faith. I really liked his quiet strength and his forthright behavior under some extreme goading (particularly with is manipulative ex). I've always had a soft spot for the decent Southern guy built of self-assured confidence. So I fell for Chase nearly immediately and that only grew as the story continued. Indeed, he's the highlight of the book for me, really.
I didn't think his ex worked as a plot element. Or, rather, that's kind of all she worked as because she certainly didn't seem real as a person; she was all scheme and pretense and I just didn't buy her at all. Fortunately, Anderson doesn't make Chase go all stupid like so many authors might have. Chase takes definite steps right from the start to keep things honest and above-board and I really liked how well he managed that.
Still, there are some rocky moments that just didn't work very well. The biggest happened pretty late in the story when
Anyway, I think I'll call this 3.5 stars, but I can't really round up due to the severity of that screw-up near the end. Still, I'm willing to read the next in the series and see if it gets better. I hope the copy editing is better. It wasn't horrid in this one, but there were enough mistakes to tag this as small press/indie and that's a shame. -
This is the second book I've read by Cindy Anderson and I am a fan! I loved this book! Addie's had a tough time lately. Her fiance broke up with her three weeks before their wedding because she had unhealthy eating habits and now he's getting married three months later. She needs a break so leaves Idaho for two weeks to go visit her Aunt Janie in Georgia. Janie tends to be a matchmaker and Addie has no plans to date for a very long time.
Aunt Janie asks her neighbor, Chase Nichols, to pick Addie up at the airport. Chase and Addie met years ago when they were young and neither one left a good impression on the other. They've both changed a lot, though, and they're attracted to each other but each have their reasons for not wanting to be in a relationship. A sticky situation arises for Chase so he proposes a solution to Addie: They'll pretend to date while she's there which will keep her aunt from setting her up and will help him shake off a clingy ex-girlfriend.
I loved Addie and Chase's banter and the fun way their relationship progressed. They're both likable and brought out the good in each other. There were complications which changed things for each of them and I wondered if they would figure out a way to be together.
Chase was part of a band, Chasing Dreams, and I loved his bandmates, Beau and Jackson. Beau was someone who could be competition for Addie's heart. Jackson was married and was embarrassing and funny. I also liked Addie's relationships with Chase's sisters, Taylin and Ashlee.
With great characters to love, an ex-girlfriend to dislike, romance, lots of kissing (all clean), obstacles to overcome, and a sigh worthy ending, this is a book I will definitely read again!

I am such a fan of Cindy Rowland Anderson. I stalk Amazon, waiting and watching for a new book by her. She has a writing style that resonates with me and I just cannot get enough. Her covers are always SO awesome too. Don’t you just love that cover?!
I think this book was my favorite of Cindy’s so far and that’s saying something since I have loved all her books. The relationships all feel real and believable. The characters have personality and are easy to visualize. The story progresses nicely and doesn’t drag and the romantic tension is palpable.
Speaking of romantic tension, man, it was torture waiting for that first kiss. I loved it. J
Addie and Chase are fun characters. Both are determined to avoid relationships and love because it just isn’t in the plans. When Chase concocts this plan to pretend to date, you just know how it’s going to turn out but it’s the joy of the journey with these two.
I loved this book. It’s a sweet, clean romance with humor and tension. It made me smile and left me happy. That’s the kind of book I love to read. And the ending? Yeah, Chase is the man. -

I read this a couple of months ago when I was reading one book after another (which I do all the time), but I wasn't writing my reviews right away. BIG mistake because I had a dozen to do and felt so overwhelmed. Then I had to play catch up on my reviews and write ones for books I was currently reading. I'm slowly but surely getting caught up (only one more past due one after this) and I'm pretty sure I won't make that mistake again. Cindy Roland Anderson is a new author to me, I've only read a novella by her in the Under the Mistletoe Collection (Timeless Romance), but I LOVED this book and have the other two in the Georgia Moon series.
Addie Heywood is unceremoniously dumped by her fiancé for someone else two weeks before their wedding, and to add insult to injury he gets married to that someone else only three short months later. Addie takes her father's advice and uses the two weeks of vacation that should've been her honeymoon to visit her Aunt Janie in Mitchel Creek, GA. She's going to use that time to eat Aunt Janie's southern cooking and take pictures, so she can win a photography contest to get closer to her dream of being a professional photographer.
Chase Nichols is Aunt Janie's neighbor. He has a band and wants to give up his job in graphic arts to make it big in Nashville. He loves Aunt Janie's baked goods so when she asks him to do her a favor and pick up her niece from the airport Chase agrees.
Addie and Chase haven't seen each other since she was 11 and he was 14, but they didn't care for each other too much then, and neither one is looking forward to seeing the other again. Yeah, that's not going to last for long. With Aunt Janie trying to get them together, and an ex-girlfriend that Chase is trying to avoid, Addie and Chase come up with a plan to fool both of them--they'll pretend to date. Sure, because that type of plan always works. Lol
The characters Addie and Chase have so much chemistry, it about jumps off the page. Addie isn't looking to date anyone, she just wants to let her heart mend and focus on her photography. Chase is a great guy--handsome, smart, a true southern gentleman, and he can sing! (all the women swoon) He's not looking to date either as he wants to concentrate on his music. I loved the way Chase and Addie could joke around with each other so easily. In my opinion, a romance based on true friendship is the best. I liked Addie's friendship with Chase's younger sisters. Aunt Janie was a great character--just like a Southern Aunt should be, and I should know since I'm a Southern girl. All those sweets she baked made me hungry for one of her cinnamon rolls.
I loved the biking trip to the park, and thought Addie was a way better sport than I would've been--I doubt I would've made it up that hill. I loved how Chase let the air out of the bike tires so Jackson would give them a ride home, because I don't think Addie would've made it back if she would've had to ride. The photography session with Chase was cute, but I think the phone calls from Jackson and the ride back in the truck were my favorite parts.
It took forever for Addie and Chase to finally kiss. How many times can you almost have your first kiss? In their case--quite a few times, but it was worth the wait. I don't want to give away the ending, but I loved it!!
This is a clean romance with a lot of kissing. -
This is a new favorite of mine. You take a heartbroken girl, throw in a change of scenery, a fake romance with a sweet guy, and a whole slew of endearing characters and you have all the elements that make up my favorite type of romance.
Addie's ex-fiance is now married and she needs a change of scenery to finish healing her broken heart, and it looks like visiting her aunt in Georgia is just the answer. Aunt Janie is a busybody matchmaker, but so adorable, it's hard to be mad at her. She doesn't drive much and gets her neighbor, Chase, to pick Addie up at the airport. Being a Southern gentleman, and before they realize who they each are, he asks if he can help her out to her car. She replies, "I don't have a car. I'm hoping a man is going to pick me up." This story is full of darling, slightly embarrassing moments, such as these, that really kept me laughing and swooning.
Chase and Addie each have selfish reasons for agreeing to pretend to be boyfriend-girlfriend, but they don't count on feeling sparks of attraction. Although their time together is short, I love the natural progression--things felt realistic. Chase is such a chivalrous man and will go to great lengths at protecting a woman's honor. Addie's natural spunk comes out and they really seem to bring out the best in one another. Of course, there are conflicts to deal with, but those were handled in a very real way as well. Chase is a musician and I absolutely LOVED the song that he wrote. I adored the band members! They were funny, relentless, and the kind of guys who you want on your side. This is definitely one I'll be re-reading!

Sweet Clean Contemporary Romance
Seems how I'm writing this review at 2:00 a.m....obviously...I could not put this book down.
Under A Georgia Moon was an absolute delight and completely lived up to my expectations. This was a sweet, light, clean read and I loved it. Addie and Chase are just too cute for words. This books southern charm made me want to go on vacation to Georgia..and maybe make a batch of cinnamon rolls to take with me to eat along the way. Read it for yourself and you'll find out why. So cute! -
This was such a fun book. The ending got a little cheesy for me but I still loved it. I love how level headed he was. The bike ride was awesome! And Jackson is totally funny.

Sigh...such a good book. Romantic and fun and flirty, and a hot southern gentleman...does it get any better...probably not.
Moral Note: Nothing comes to mind besides some passionate kisses. I remembered there was a cheating ex-girlfriend, and a pregnancy outside of marriage, and a couple innuendos, but nothing major or graphic. -
I love a sweet southern romance and this book fit the bill perfectly! Chase was the perfect southern gentleman and leading man.

Until his ex-girlfriend Hayden comes to town and the only way he can get her to back off is to tell her he has a girlfriend. When Hayden asks him for a name, he spontaneously gives Addie's name.
They decide that to "pretend date" while she is in town will be mutually beneficial. It will keep her Aunt Janie from setting her up with more guys, and it will force Hayden to back off. I love how cute Addie was with his sisters, and I love how he helped her chase her dreams, too.
Cindy Roland Anderson is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

This book has been in my to-read pile for a long time. Finally was able to get it to the top! It was totally worth it! I Loved the relationship between Chase and Addie. They knew each other as teens but then didn't see each other for years. They had and instant connection but both wanted to fight it. I love that they excepted each other for so they are and had so much fun together. It was a fun clean romance! Can't wait to read the next one!

Charming contemporary romance for the sweet tooth. This story is set in a small town in Idaho and also in Georgia. The characters, Addison and Chase, are adorable. Addie has just been jilted by her fiancé for another woman and flies to Georgia for some extra loving care and calories from her Aunt Janie. What she doesn’t expect to find is love, but it nips her sweet tooth anyway. Loved the plot, characters, setting and the scrumptious desserts discussed in decadent delight. Addison is definitely a girl after my own heart (although I’m jealous she doesn’t gain 20 pounds like I would eating all those sweet buns).

Under a Georgia Moon by Cindy Roland Anderson is a good novel, but I had a hard time getting invested into the characters. It was also a relatively quick book, both in terms of how fast of a read it was and how much time the book was centered over. The book timeline is about two months. It was a very nice read and was interesting, but on hindsight felt that the book progressed rather quickly and while good, I had a hard time identifying with the characters. The book is a very clean romance, which was nice. Only some kissing and some joking around.

When I start a book and it seems like the characters are going to be an "insta-love" I kind of cringe. When we first met Chase and Addie I thought "well here goes..." But!!! I was so pleasantly surprised. It ended up being an adorable story with funny moments and I totally loved it!! I love how the author turned an "insta-love" into a cute little twist.
So glad I kept reading! That will teach me to doubt my good read friends!! ;) -
snagged this one on a good sale. Looked like a cute story. And Cindy delivers a sweet romance, barely even kissing but fills a sweet tooth quite nicely. Addie Heywood is dumped by her fiancé right before her wedding she needs a break from her life and goes to visit an aunt clear across the country in Georgia. I feel myself swooning when I read southern boys talk and I was not disappointed. This book just put a smile on my face.

It's difficult to describe my feelings about this book. There were moments where it was unbelievably ridiculous, but there were also some elements that redeemed the story (such as the setting). Still sorting my feelings about it.

Under a Georgia Moon is my 4th book by this author who adheres to the high standards of the clean romance genre. Her star record with me to date is 4.75 stars. In addition to maintaining clean romance genre standards, I appreciate her common-sense approach to dealing with the protagonists’ Christian values. Their underlying Christian faith was a part of their lives from childhood and helped shape their actions when they faced tough decisions. Ms. Anderson did an outstanding job of developing this story in a way that one could see how divine providence can help shape our lives without interfering with our right to choose the path we will follow. This well-crafted offering contained characters and scenarios that kept me interested from beginning to end. Cindy Roland Anderson is an author who will entertain and touch all lovers of clean, Christian romance.

This was such a sweet southern read. I really enjoyed Chase and Addy's love story. It had allot of cute and funny moments. I honestly didn't give it more stars because some parts felt a bit too soon for me. But overall a sweet fun read and I'm jumping right into book 2.

I had so much fun reading this book on vacation! Sweet, fun, whirlwind romance! Loved it! I think I’ll make my sons read it when they’re old enough to court so they know what it means to be a gentleman! 😍

This was wonderful! Addie and Chase make such a great couple. I loved how their attraction took them both by surprise, considering their antagonistic relationship as kids. Now they have sparking chemistry, and really like each other. This book has such likeable characters(except for one royal~'B'!).
This is a definite good feels romance. First time reading this author, and I am excited to read book#2 in this trilogy, and more of her work. Highly recommended for lovers of sweet, clean, believable romance. -

Ok so you know those cheesy Hallmark movies that come on nonstop this time of year? The ones that are so sappy and so predictable that your husband or significant other rolls his eyes at you for watching them? The same ones that even though you know how they end you still watch them, still laugh at them, still cry during them all the way to the ending credits? You do...that's great! That's this book :D
Despite the cheesy Hallmark feel, I ♥︎ this book so much! I'm not sure I can put it into words. Under a Georgia Moon follows the story of Addie, a jilted young woman forced on vacation to forget her heartache, and Chase, a young musician realizing his dreams may not be what God has planned for him.
Addie is exactly what you would expect of a woman dumped by her fiancé a few weeks before their wedding. She is angry, hurt, and extremely self-conscious. Nothing really that you can fault her on because I would be exactly like her. Finding moments that just cause you to break down into tears. Yep, we've all been there at one point. Now though her father and sister think it's time she gets back out there. Her ex is married to another woman and expecting a baby!! She needs to move on. She knows this, but her heart and her head are saying doing the same thing for once...building walls to protect what's left of herself.
Chase is just....wow! He's not only nice looking (thank you Cindy ;) ) but he is a talented musician and puts his family and God first. He's not looking for marriage though his friends and family tell him it's time to settle down. He's just looking for his big break into the country music scene. That is until he meets Addie.
Addie's aunt sends Chase to the airport to pick up the forlorn traveler and from there a relationship blossoms...however it isn't what you think. You see, Addie's aunt is determined for her to meet a guy and start dating again the two weeks while she is visiting in Macon, GA. And Chase's ex is in town trying to force him to be with her. So he comes up with a little proposal for Addie to get both of them off their backs...they fake a relationship. Yeah...you see where this is going without me telling you right ;) because I'm not spoiling anything for you! Navigating the relationship between Addie and Chase is rough waters as the lines between what's real and what's pretend begin to blur. And Addie is unsure what she wants as her heart and her head begin to conflict.
Despite the predictability, I really enjoyed this book! I sat down one night before bed to read it, thinking "Oh, I'll just start this one tonight" and about eight hours later at four in the morning I had finished it. The characters, the writing, and even the predictable plot sucked me in and I just couldn't sit it down. Bonus and kudos to the author...the book is completely clean! No closed door sex scenes or anything, no foul language either! Maybe one or two heavy makeout sessions ;) If you enjoy clean, contemporary romance, I highly recommend you check this book out! It will not disappoint! -
Too cute for words. A great clean romance. Both characters spurned by exes and not wanting to date. Chase doesn’t want to because he is trying to chase his dream. Addie doesn’t want to because she was just unceremoniously dumped 3 wks before her wedding only for him to get married right away and for her to find out his new wife is 4 months along to boot. Difference between the two Chase isn’t wallowing and Addie is. Addie has left the world of socializing. Now the time she took off for her honeymoon is here and her dad has her go to her Aunt Janie’s house in Georgia. Aunt Janie is a hoot. With her friends, baking and trying to matchmake it is to to funny. You just want to pinch her cheeks and hug her. From the beginning she is scheming only her schemes involve Addie and Chase. Both are apprehensive of the other due to a summer they spent together years ago. when they see each other though there is instant attraction. They have a easy banter as well. So how do they end up being the cute couple you just think is so sugary and in the honeymoon phase all the time. To thwart off his ex and Janie’s matchmaking they decide to be each others fake boy and girlfriends. Except they begin to feel for each other. Addie and Chase try so hard to fight the attraction. Addie more than Chase. Chase who ladies you will swoon with the southern accent and the manners his mama taught him. Swooon city. Addie fights so hard because they live far apart but Chase tells her they can work it out. See swoony..Than Addie becomes a doof major major doof and it is a good thing Chase is so swoonworthy because he changes the situation and gives us the smile till your jaw hurts happy ending. A cute book on falling in love when you least expect it and being there for each other no matter how doofy you may get.

This book was a charming 'clean'* Southern romance, and I really enjoyed it. The story was simple, and somewhat predictable, but it was a great afternoon chick lit read! Main character Addie was sweet and spunky - I was rooting for her. It was also interesting to read the story from Chase's perspective as we went along; I suppose it's not often that you read about Southern courtship from the perspective of a restrained Christian male.
Although it was fairly obvious that Addie and Chase were going to become an 'item', that didn't bother me at all. Let's be honest, most Chick Lit has an easy-to-spot romance appear in the first chapter or so! When you pick one up, you're hardly expecting to be surprised by it. Really, it's all about how the romance UNRAVELS! And this romance is particularly sweet, which seems to be the Southern way.
I liked all of the characters, particularly Aunt Janie and her baked goodies, although there wasn't a huge focus on anyone other than Addie and Chase. I also liked how gentlemanly Chase was - he was kind-hearted, thoughtful AND cute! It was a nice change of pace from an arrogant or rude male lead, who needs to be 'changed'. Chase was great as he was, and the focus stayed on their struggle to fit relationships in with their career dreams.
Both Addie and Chase were reluctant to give up their dreams to pursue a romance, and it was interesting to see how they worked through their priorities. I felt it was a realistic dilemma (even if their solution may have been an uncommon one!).
Overall, for a quick, feel-good romance, I'd definitely recommend this book. It may not have been ground-breaking, but when I put it down I was more than satisfied, and it stuck in my head for several days. There was even a little mystery and danger thrown in! What more could I ask for?! -
Simply amazing! This book is a classic love story of two people trying to find their path in life and end up finding each other. Addie is the girl next
door type that everyone can relate to as she is trying to get over the guy that broke off their engagement. And then there is Chase, the handsome cowboy who is a country singer in progress that every girl wants to be with.
I could not put this book down, I must have read at least half of it in one day. It just sucks you in from the first page and there is not a good place
to stop because you have to find out what happens next with Addie and Chase. Cindy does such an amazing job of developing these characters and the
relationship between them and taking you and their journey. They are funny and witty and makes you want to have a romance like theirs. Then there is the fun loving Aunt who just can't help but play cupid. I love the sense of friendship, family, protecting what you love, and standing up for what you believe in that comes through in this story. Plus the way Cindy describes Georgia it makes me want to pack my bags and go there. It sounds so beautiful.
If you are looking for a clean romance with some good laughs and a dash of adventure, this is it.
I love all of Cindy's books, but so far this one is my favorite! I just didn't want it to end. Definitely a book that I will read over again. I can't wait for the next one!

Under A Georgia Moon was a fun read. Full of witty banter, teasing, romance and good food. Makes me want some southern cooking too especially the desserts. This is a clean read. I enjoyed these characters. I was smiling all through the book.
Addie Heywood was talked in taking her two weeks vacation at her Aunt's house in Georgia. It was to be her honeymoon but was called off three weeks before the wedding. Now he married someone else. She is through dating. She is going to take a picture and enter a contest so she can win new camera. Addie lives in Idaho with her 80 year old father.
Chase Nichols is not ready for a serious relationship. He is trying to get another job in Nashville. So he can pursue his music career. He is going to try now as a solo career. His band two members have families and want to stop. His old girl friend his back in town. She is also the boss's daughter. She wants to get him back.
Addie's Aunt thinks Chase would be a perfect match for her niece and gets him to pick her up at airport. Chase his attracted right off to Addie. He asks her to pretend to be his girl friend. It will help them both out. except it is to real.
They live so far apart and neither wants to move to each other's place. Long distances are tough. This is a fast paced book. Did not want to put the book down.
