The Summer Flings series quickly became some of my most anticipated reads over the summer. I do love this series and being the first books I’d read by Aimee Duffy, I now know I’ll be reading anything she’s had published and will publish in the future. I adore her style of writing. Geeks Go Greek is another great instalment in this series and definitely hits the fun and flirty part of the synopsis even more than the previous novellas did.

Geeks Go Greek was by far, the steamiest novella of the four. This is where I feel like a bit of an old prude because although I love it when the heat levels notch up, and Aimee writes a sex scene just as well as she writes anything else, I did miss all the plot and character development there’s been in the last few novellas. Ciara and her summer fling were hooking up everywhere and I can’t fault it for entertainment, but once I finished the novella it left me feeling like something was missing.

What was definitely not missing, and what had me swooning for the entire novella, was Zack. Whether he was being spoke about or actually there, he was involved much more in Geeks Go Greek than he was previously. Through the earlier books in the series, we’ve learn quite a lot about Ciara, Elle and Gem so I think it was perfect timing for some more of Zack. Aimee’s done a great job at building up his character, knowing that there’s much more ready for us to learn in a timely fashion which Aimee’s writing controls so well.

Although Geeks Go Greek didn’t strike me as much as the first three parts did, I think it took the plot in a necessary direction to really set up the final three novellas – I guess I do actually have to man up and admit this series will come to an end at some point! I’m confident I’m going to love Summer Flings #5, Ibiza Insanity and a lot more than I would have done if Geeks Go Greek had gone down a different direction. The fourth novella in the series definitely pulls off some holiday fun in style.

One of my favourites from this fabulous series!
Now we are off to Greece. After their trip to Paris Ciara, Elle and Gem are bringing their A game back to the party lifestyle and with much hilarity too. I adore this aspect of Aimee Duffy's voice as the scene's with with the girl's wardrobe choices are really funny. I wannna be a Geek!

I am loving this series and Geeks Go Greek is one of the ones I was most looking forward to reading because I just love the Mediterranean. I would've preferred Cyprus but still the descriptions of Greece were amazing and it was almost like being there except sadly, I wasn't! That said I'm loving following the girls around the world and having my own little holidays whilst being sat at home.

I found this installment to be a little bit more relaxed than the previous ones. The girls have had their fair share of unlucky situations in LA, Miami and Paris and Greece was a lot of fun for them. In this installment I felt we got to see a lot more of each of the girls' personalities coming through. At book four it really feels like we know them and actually care for them rather than them just being fictional characters. These shorts are fun filled and comedic but at the same time quite touching and serious in places too.

Of course the book wouldn't be complete without the appearance of Zack who manages to turn up in Greece. Once again you are left practically screaming for him and Ciara to get together. I thought in this one they actually felt and acted like an actual couple, it never felt forced or rushed, but just right. Greece is known for its heat and well, the heat in this book was definitely turned up a notch or twelve. I'm definitely excited to see how things progress in Ibiza and I have an idea of how the series may eventually end and I can't wait to see if I'm right...

This is the fourth adventure in the 'Summer Flings' series. This time
Ciara, Elle and Gem and in Santorini.

I am in two minds about this part of the series.

This part really sees Ciara and Zacks relationship develop. It is beautifully written and I really enjoy getting to know Zacks character in more depth; as I feel this is the first time we really get to find out who he is.

I also really liked Gem's voice in this part. I felt she too I beginning to become more developed as a character. I loved her story line with a hunk that Ciara and Elle think is gay.

I was however really disappointed that we didn't get to 'feel' Santorini. We only get a snippet of the scenery and I personally felt that the girls could have been on any Mediterranean island. There was reference to the food, but I thought there could have been not on the scenery. This is just. Personal opinion, and coming from a travel enthusiast it's probably not surprising I would want more about the island in there!

Geeks Go Greek is the steamist novella in the series far and it actually took me by surprised as I was not expecting that to be one of the main focuses, but not on the girls adventures.

This novella I thought is not the best in the series but necessary for the story to develop. I cannot wait for the girls next stop in Ibiza!

I would like to thank Aimee for sending me this in exchange for an honest review.

Another great adventure with the girls, this time to Santorini in Greece. And phew, what a scorcher, and I don't just mean the temperature!! Things certainly get hot and steamy between Ciara and Zack, and we get alot more detail about just how steamy!!!

I know I say if each time, but I am really enjoying this series. It is written so well and the characters are just brilliant. If you haven't started them yet, then you really should. They make for perfect summer reading, and are great fun. I am not usually a fan of serialised books, but to me, the fact that each part is released quickly, and the exploits of the girls are so well written and so fun, has me totally hooked.

Geeks go Greek features quite heavily on the growing relationship between Ciara and Zack, and as I mentioned earlier, it is by far the steamiest part so far. That said it is still plainly obvious that there is a cute, romantic side to them too.

The trip to Santorini also involves Gem becoming interested in a guy which the others are convinced is gay.....will she seduce him or are the others right? Have a read and find out ;-)

I am really growing to like Elle more and more. At first I thought she was going to be rich, spoilt and precocious, but with each trip has begins to show her softer, more caring side. I loved that she secretly arranged for Zack to come over to Greece for Ciara.

    Roll on Ibiza......

This has got to be my favourite short in the series so far! I absolutely loved this one. The heat level really kicks up a gear in Geeks Go Greek and I love that Zack features so heavily. Finally he is involved more than just by rescuing them or a quick hook up.

I really enjoyed that this book had the girls relaxing and having fun more than going wild and getting in trouble. It kept a smile on my face and I wanted it to go on longer. The relationships were developed and built on well and I find myself growing to like Ciara and Zack even more. Once again, I'll be starting the next one soon.

I Dont normally like short stories and would of preferred this as a whole book but only so i didnt have to keep stopping to download the next in the series. But its perfect for the summer hols as i dont have the time to snuggle up and read all day,it also prevents the ive been up all night reading look i tend to develop when im enjoying a book.
I love the whole story so far and im rooting for a happy ending for Ciara and Zack, there chemistry is sizzling perfect for a summer read.
Cant wait for the next installment.

Another great instalment of the 'summer fling' series.

The girls head to Greece and are looking forward to a relaxing time.

Ciara's fling joins the girls and their relationship develops a lot further, much to the annoyance of his cousin.

    Really enjoying this series

Well, well, well, looks like Ciara and Zack can’t stay away from each other. Zack has turned up in Greece and Ciara can’t be happier. Actually, she could – she has been comfort eating since Paris and now has camel toe in her clothes. Oops.

In the slightly less serious instalment of the Summer Flings series we see Ciara and Zack determined to just have some fun….yes, you are right, a fling that happens in summertime…like the series states.

Geeks Go Greek offers a bit of comic relief from the seriousness found in Point Us to Paris and offers us a little bit of light and shade to the whole series.

    *Sneak Peak*

‘That had to be the most embarrassing journey ever,’ Elle complained, tugging at the tee-shirt Gem designed.

Ciara grinned at her friend’s mortified expression. ‘I think they’re cute.’

‘See? Someone appreciates my talents,’ Gem said.

The printed tee-shirts were white, tight fitting, had deep ‘v’ necks with ‘Geeks go Greek’ printed across their busts in a groovy, neon pink font.

‘Thank god we’re here. Now I can get into my bikini,’ Elle said, pointing along the dirt road they were being driven down by the Muir’s driver.

After seeing the Land Rover waiting for them at the airport, she’d worried that the next of the Muir’s properties was going to be some shack in the middle of nowhere or something, but she hadn’t been prepared for this.

The house – if she could call it that – which Elle pointed to, was massive. It seemed to have six levels, each one backing up on the mountain like a staircase and ending with a huge raised patio over the beach. There was a hot tub, swimming pool and a stone area centred by the biggest dining table she’d ever seen.

Looked like Santorini was going to be another luxury trip.

‘Wow, is that your granddad’s yacht?’ Gem asked as they got closer.

To the side there was a pier stretching into the clear blue sea, a boat with more multi-levels, a group of jet skis hooked to a buoy further out, and a shed that could fit ten dorm rooms, easily.

‘That’s a yacht?’ Ciara asked. It looked more like a ship to her.

‘Yes, but don’t get any ideas. I haven’t a clue how to sail it even if I’d go near the sea.’ Elle shuddered. ‘The water’s disgusting.’

It looked gorgeous to Ciara – all blue, clear and shimmering in the sun. She couldn’t wait to go for a dip.

‘Anyway, I have so many treatments and massages booked that we won’t even need to leave the house,’ Elle said.

The thing was huge, no doubt about it. But, still. She didn’t want to be cooped up in the thing for over a week. ‘Why don’t we hire a car and see more of the island?’

‘I’m not doing anything until I get this tee-shirt off and catch some sun,’ Elle protested.

Gem scowled at her. ‘I’ll come with you, Ciara. Just as soon as I’ve unpacked.’

'Geeks Go Greek' is the forth installment in the #Summer Flings series, and frankly, the part I least enjoyed. Ciara, Gem and Elle are now in Santorini, enjoying being pampered and relaxing on the sunny beaches. We've already elaborated that they love partying and meeting new people, so being in Santorini is no exception. They get to wear their 'Geeks Gone Greek' tees, see gorgeous Mediterranean guys, sipping cold drinks under the scorching sun.

It is really hard to review such short stories, because I always fear I might end up writing a spoiler, and believe me, that's the last thing I'd want to do. However, I must point out to the things I liked and disliked. I liked the fact we get to see more of Zack. However, the sex scenes seemed a bit too much. In fact, now that I've read the whole series, I really think Ms Duffy doesn't need to focus on sex and lust so much. I've read enough of Ms Duffy's works and I'm convinced she's talented, however I must say I actually preferred these scenes where she focuses more on the friendship between the girls than on the thing between Zack and Cia. Also, some things felt repetitive, meaning they were once said in the previous parts, readers read them and now it's time to move on. However, maybe this makes things easier for the reader who won't read the whole series but jump to this part immediately.

But, ending up on a lighter note, the Summer Fling series is quite addictive and overall (as a series), easy to read and enjoyable.

The summer fling series continues! Geeks Go Greek is the fourth instalment in the series.

In this instalment we're off to Greece, Santorini to be exact. The girls are looking foward to a relaxing time after they were in such a trouble in Paris. In Greece they take it easy and try not get into any trouble. They go on a ride on a jet-ski and have some fun nights at a restaurant with dancing shows.

I was eagerly wating for Zack to turn up on the screen and I was more than happy when I realised he is very present in this part. The story mostly focus on the releationship between Zack and Ciara. I didn't expect that this part is going to be so hot and steamy. The scenes are very well written. It shows what Aimee Duffy is capable of in her writing style. I very enjoyed it. For me, this part is my second favourite after Misbehaving in Miami. It has they perfect amount of hilarious fun and sex. Although I've been missing a few things. The girls are visiting such fanatsic cities all around the world. I wish Aimee had written more about the cities itself. More refferences about atmosphere, the scenery ... to transport the holiday feeling to the reader.

Geeks Go Greek is a fantastic addition to the series. I love following the girls story and I always wish I could be with them. I can't wait to come around to read what happens in the fifth instalment called Ibiza Insanity.

Well Greece is hot and heavy as you would expect. I have to agree with Ciara's friend that she has a resilient "fufu". A bit more going on emotionally too and the secrets are starting to impinge on the fringes of the fun and games.
For a world tour we are only getting a taste of the scenery but there is a nice touch of travelogue and Billionaire Yacht action.
Occasionally finding the heroine's Mummy conflict a little annoying but hopefully that will get resolved by the end of the series.
Zach is rather yummy and overall the characters are fun but lightweight as you would expect from a book of this type.
