OUTLAW REVENGE
A Back Down Devil MC Novel

Emily didn't want to go watch a bunch of bikers fight each other, and by the time the fight is over, her best friend is shot dead and Emily finds herself clutching the leather cut of a sexy guy named Gaige as she's on the back of his motorcycle, escaping gunfire.

As Vice President of Back Down Devil MC, Gaige Gaen’s world is consumed by the club, the life, and finding a way to make it all work. The last thing he needs on his plate - or in his bed - is a woman like Emily. He can't stop looking at her, and he definitely can't stop touching her. He promises to avenge the death of Emily's best friend, Rachel, but then the situation takes a turn for the worse when Rachel's father - a rich man hell bent on revenge - shows up and wants answers that the MC doesn't have.

Emily is in fear of returning to a past she had escaped. She and Gaige can't seem to stop their feelings for each other, and as her dangerous past digs its way into the present, Gaige and Back Down Devil are now in the line of fire.

The war in Emily and Gaige's hearts rage on, but the war outside needs to be fought... the question is, who is going to make it out alive?

Outlaw Revenge (Back Down Devil MC, #1) Reviews

Update I still stand by my original review- but now I can rate it.

I decided to skim the rest of this book in 2015- just to finish it. Plus, I couldn't remember why I hadn't finished it when I saw it on my kindle. I should have looked at my review.

But, yeah- I should have also remembered, and left well enough alone. These people are a train wreck. I've read whacked out MCs and this floats along with the rest.

    DNF at 26%

What the hell did I try to read? I can't sugar coat this one. It was horribly written. Whacked way the hell out. No depth whatsoever to the story line.

These guys are whacked in the head and sick. Especially perverted sick as hell Blaine. Who gets excited about a dead warm body on them? Who likes it when a woman beats on him, claws him and rips his earring out of his ear and gets turned on by it? Who gets upset because he couldn't have sex with the dead girl because he uses her as a shield so he isn't blown away by bullets? It's his fault she was shot and he's upset because he didn't get to do her when she was alive? Realllllly???

And we can't forget the heroine. She's as whacked. Everything turns her on, especially the wrong stuff and at the most inappropriate times. Hello! She's hiding from another biker but gets herself mixed up with this whacked out bunch and feels turned on, excited and protected???

This book felt like the author was trying to make them hardcore badasses. And, for such badasses, why do these bikers hug a lot??? And call each other bro? They're not in a fraternity! Also I was confused... Are they bikers or wanna be fight club? They're an MC but have secret underground fight clubs???
Umm what genre are we in?

This story was trying to hard and came up lacking. In the end they were just horribly written and disgusting.

11/19/15 updated review..Since my initial review I have read this book and the series too many times to count. It is one of my favorite MC series. My thoughts have changed on Gaige in the way that I don't find him scary at all. I'm totally in LOVE with him and Emily. He is definitely one of my favorites in the series. I also LOVE how he always calls Emily beautiful.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is my first read from London Casey and I'm not exactly sure how to review this one. lol The story was good but some of the things that happened disturbed me a little. It feels wrong to me to say that I loved Gaige when he did some of the things he did and the same goes with the other members of the club. But I couldn't stop reading and I'm looking forward to more.

Blaine was so disgusting but he had me laughing at the same time. He was such a creeper but loyal to Gaige and the club. I have never read another character like him before. I really want to find out more about Nate and what his story is. As well as Jace and Shay.

The way the book ended definitely has me interested in what is coming next. I'm hoping to see more of Gaige and Emily. I liked these two as a couple and I actually liked how fast they got together. Gaige's character was scary and definitely screwed up but he loved Emily and protected her in his own way. I especially loved that he wasn't a cheater!! lol

I was definitely entertained and can't wait for book#2.

Book two in series by London Casey.
BDD is a anti-hero series about a MC biker group.
Emily has had a rough life and works in an office of a escort series which she keeps secret from her bff Rachel. Rachel hooks up with Blaine who is completely insane and very very vulgar.
At a illegal street flight a rival gang shoots at BDD and accidentally kills Rachel. Gaige takes Emily and hides her in clubhouse especially after he finds out a old boyfriend is after her.
I really enjoyed this book but I would have like previous characters and girlfriends in book. I think atm the club is still very much a MC biker club and hopefully it develops into a more honest club with family included like Kristen Ashley Chaos series.

Question - whats the first thing you think of just after your friend has been shot in front of you while being used as a shield and the guy she was getting it on with is all turned on by her dead body on top of him?

Answer - Sex with a douchebag biker of course. Duh!

    description

DNF at page 48. Because, apart from what I've stated above, I didn't like the writing and the characters are idiots.

"Her hands still moved on him, sliding up and down his giving length."

Anybody know what the fuck she's talking about?

    This book...jeez.

Blaine, not the H, seems to be sad he didn't get to fuck a woman he used as a human shield in a gun fight. She died and he had necro-fantasies (if you need that explained, you do not need to read this book). I also think that entire sub-plot is responsible for my rating. He goes on about it through most of the book.

I had a run of MC buddy reads with my sis-in-laws over the holidays and they were all just shite. But this one made me queasy. I don't think it was as badly written as some of the others I read during our marathon, it wasn't great, don't get me wrong...but Blaine just 1 starred this puppy for me and there was just no going back after that.

If you're an MC that kills people, it probably isn't the smartest idea to bury all the bodies on land that you own

I liked this book and how tough Gaige, the hero, was.

The heroine, Emily, was usually an emotionally weak character except when she was attacking a male physically, but even then there was an out of control quality to it

Blaine was an, um, interesting character (as in a raging pervert and sexual deviant)

The romance between the H and h made me think that if Anne Stuart wrote an MC romance, it'd be similar to this (the way the Gaige had a take her or leave her attitude towards Emily throughout a lot of the book)

I enjoyed Outlaw Revenge (Back Down Devil MC #1) , I am a huge fan of well written MC Books, one of my favorite genre's.

London Casey writing is easy to read, the story flows well and I love how bad the Back Down Devil men are. This is the first book in the series, here we get to know the Vice President of the club, Gaige and how he came to meet Emily. We also begin to meet the other men in the club and I can't wait to read there own individual book.

This series so far is more then just a romance novel with a bad boy biker, there is danger and threats and someone or some group is after the Back Down Devil Club. I am really enjoying this series.

    Wow! So much chaos!

I loved it! She really knows how to put so much together and then make it look smooth as silk! Fast paced and sexy as hell!!! I love this first book and I am definitely on top the next one! A Must Read!

Wow! Fist are Flying, bullets flying, and London Casey had me fallen in love with the boys club MC biker feeling right in the beginning. I loved her writing style and voice. I also fell in love with Gaige and Emily at first meeting. Gaige can call me "beautiful" anytime.

Loved that he wanted to protect her and get revenge on the guys who shot her best friend. I will admit even for me some of his actions with this was extreme but London Casey mad it work for me. I am not a huge fan of Insta Love and that did bother me how they fell in love with in a couple of days. I loved that she was not a push over when it came to Gaige and his Biker buddies, especially Blaine. Things with Gaige and Emily do heat up fast but I loved how she was just as much as flirt as Gaige was. I instantly felt their chemistry. I wished I did get a some background on them.

I loved the underground fighting. I am curious if it will be a continuous with the series. I liked the different take how Black Down Devil MC make some cash on the side. Loved the non stop action and Blaine Character. He is crazy and sick but his moments and the action added to the story.

All said and done I enjoyed reading Outlaw Revenge and was a page turner for me. But after reading I had a few unanswered questions. Did not know anything about the hero/heroine except we learn about why she running from her past, know nothing about Gaige, what the heck is going on with Jace and Gaige.

With a crazy ending I am curious how everything is going to play out. I am very picky about my Biker Romance and I think I found another biker series to add to my list I want more of.

I have never read any other books by this author before (looks like she uses a bunch of pen names) but since one of my favorite genres is biker/MC romances and this one was at the irresistable price of 99 cents...I just had to give it a try.
Outlaw Revenge left me speechless at times... this book was a crazy fast and definitely dangerous ride.
Two young women in the wrong place at the wrong time, a couple of shootings, some violent deaths, hiding out from an abusive and really psychotic EX, dirty nasty and at times violent sexual activity, and people out for revenge for multiple reasons and you have the recipe for a fast paced, sexy, raunchy and very explicit biker book.
I wasn't shocked as much as just left with my mouth hanging open at times...some of the antics were gross (but funny too...OMG Blaine...really?) and our lead alpha male fighter Gaige was REALLY bossy and demanding of shell-shocked Emily...but boy oh boy, was it ever exciting to read!
This book had it all...a pretty good story, devious and complicated characters, damsels in distress and the men who love to rescue and enough dirty talk and bad boys to make a girl really sweat. Loved it and can't wait for the next book in the series!

**** 4.5 **** "fighting a war inside and out" stars

I did enjoy this book as far as it made a lazy Saturday afternoon pass quite quickly but I did have a few problems with it. The main one being that there was absolutely no depth to the characters. You couldn't really connect with them because there was very little background story. You didn't find out how they came to be where they were, apart from the crazy ex-boyfriend there was nothing about Emily's past at all and there was even less about Gaige's. There was also a lack of detail, the whole story appeared to take place over about 2/3 days and most of that time Emily spent at the compound because it was too dangerous for her to go home but (and I know it may seem daft) where did she get clean clothes from! Did she spend the whole time wearing the same ones - minus the panties that got ripped off! The other thing that seemed a bit silly was how the situation with the ex ended, how it got to that point didn't make sense. All in all 2.5 stars for me and I probably won't continue with the series.

This definitely isn't for the easily disturbed.

Basically after watching her BFF get murdered because a man used her as a shield, our heroine falls in love with the man that saved her.
Add sex, insanely insane gross characters and some more vindictive psycho's and woo-la you have Outlaw Revenge.

It was definitely OTT in the grit department. I mean, there is no sugar coating when it comes to a man that finds the human dead shield of a woman he used arousing because she was still warm to the touch....
Luckily, the h and H in this were not as sick or I couldn't have read it.
I do think it's a little unlikely the h would have sex covered in her best friends blood, befriend the man that used her as a shield and be able to try and live a normal life - even for a gritty MC romance story. It's just all a little much.
I felt there was some rush, leaving several things unexplained or just not addressed at all.
I'm not sure if i'll pick up more in this series and I would recommend this read. But again, be warned. if you're looking for the warm and fuzzy's - look elsewhere.

This was book 1 in the " Back Down Devil MC" series. Emily went to an junk yard street fight with her best friend and saw that Gaige was fighting. Gaige knew Emily was his as soon as he seen her. Emily's friend was doing it with a Blaine. When another club came in and started shooting at everyon. After Emily's best friend Rachel takes a bullet meant for the VP Gaige Emily flees with him. When Rachel's father shows up and demands answers he vows to take down the MC. Gauge is trying to keep his club safe and keep Emily at arms length. This book had some silly scenes in it like who has sex with the best friends blood still on them. I also didn't think to highly of Gauge using a girl as a human shield. Blaine a club brother was so disgusting but he was funny at the same time. He was also a creep but he was loyal to Gaige and the club. I love reading MC books. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

  • Mo_Better

The only really good thing I can say about this book is that it was short so I read it in a couple of hours. The editing was horrible. The story was predictable and boring. And it suffers from one of the worst cases of insta-love I've ever experienced.

The characters were pretty flat and one dimensional. They had no history, no motivation. Emily had some history but it was only enough to bring Max into the picture. I felt no chemistry. No love. Just things that happened and no real story to get me to feel anything about it. The most interesting character in the whole book was Blaine and he was a bit sick and twisted but at least he had more than one dimension.

Not gonna bother with any of the others.

My first motorcylce club book and I LOVED IT. Gaige and Emily's love story was so action packed, and sexy. We meet Emily and she's hiding a few secrets from her best friend Rachel. Rachel begs and pleads with Emilt to join her for a night out, but not just any girls night out will do. Rachel wants to meet up with a biker she's been flirting with for a while at a 'fight' Emily really doesnt want to go, but she wont let Rachel go alone. Its there at the fight she meets Gaige. And its their that their spiraled love story begins. Dont want to get too much into it, just get your copy today and READ. Will be checking out others in the series.

This was a good read. The h is in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets shot at because of the H. He takes her back to the clubhouse and from there they fall for each other while he is protecting her and going after the shooter of her friend. There is lots of action, romance, and a few twists. All I will say about Blaine is that he is a bit of a freak, but I liked him. I hope there is more to come.

  • Michele A.

I read this book in one afternoon. Gaige and Emily meet at a fight between different bikers and her friend Rachel gets killed. Emily runs away with Gaige and then winds up having to rely on him for protection from her ex, Max. Gaige takes on all challenges and winds up making things right in the end. Not a bad read, just a little too over the top for me with the falling in love in such a short period of time.

  • Danielle

The relationship between hero & heroine was not believable. We learn nothing really about the characters backgrounds. Emily seemed a tad Pollyanna for someone who worked at an escort agency and had dated a crazy biker before. She just cried way to much. She got turned on when ever Gaige got protective or fought. Boring. I actually was more interested in the other characters but if the author skimps on the character building like in this one, I'll pass.
