THE LEGEND OF BLACKBEARD'S CHALICE, Book One
(Romance, Time Travel, Paranormal, Suspense)

Can souls touch through time and hold on when all odds are against them?

Claire Winslow vacations on an East Coast barrier island, content with her life and her potential future--until the illusion of a man walking the misty shore haunts her. Then one kiss--a beautiful, soulful, stolen kiss in the night--and her life changes forever.

Nearly 300 years past, Jack Porter is in hot pursuit of his kidnapped wife. Not an easy feat considering the year is 1718 and the kidnapper is the notorious pirate Blackbeard aka Edward Teach. Determined to rescue his wife and take the pirate's head in the process, Jack steals aboard the pirate's ship to save her.

Entranced sends Jack and Claire on a wild search through time, not only for the resolution to a powerful attraction between them, but also for a historical artifact that holds the key to their future happiness--the coveted silver-plated chalice made from Blackbeard's skull.

His Forever Kiss (Soul Mates, #1) Reviews

Kinda slow for me to get into. When the man of your dreams appears and you have that perfect night! You wake up? Was it a dream? A Ghost? What? This is the question Hannah Claire is asking herself when it happens to her! Jack is he man or ghost? Or maybe something else?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley, The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

His forever kiss or on good reads it’s titled entranced.(the curse of Blackbeard’s chalice) starts in the time of Blackbeard. Jack porter goes to rescue his wife, Hannah from Blackbeard’s ship. Hannah and jack keep getting separated but their souls fight through everything to get their HEA. I enjoyed this book immensely. It was a story enriched with love, adventure, terror, sadness, and hope. It’s a treasure worth reading.

I’m in awe at how good this was! I was a little hesitant at first but I enjoyed it so much, especially the heroine! Some truly hot love scenes here, just saying!
The book is part of a series, but you can totally read it as a stand alone!

This is a paranormal, time-traveling, pirate-ridden, pulse-pounding, romance with more than a little suspense sprinkled throughout for added flavor. This was a fantastic read.

The curse hits the ground running and never looks back. The opening chapter finds the hero, Jack Porter, trying to rescue his abducted wife from a pirate ship…single-handed. Oh, did I mention that the ship is captained by none other than Blackbeard himself? I caught myself holding my breath as the action ensued.

Maddie wrote such vivid accounts of the time-travel aspect, I could almost believe such an event was possible. This story is overflowing with action, drama and love scenes. Yes, there is a fair amount of sex in this little adventure.

This book was the first installment of her “The Legend of Blackbeard’s Chalice” series and I anxiously await the next one.

  • Tia Fanning

I really enjoyed this romantic time-travel story based of a popular legend that claims the skull of the notorious pirate Edward Teach (aka Blackbeard) was made into a drinking chalice.

This tale starts with the hero, Jack, trying to save his kidnapped wife off Blackbeard's pirate ship. Flash forward a couple of hundred years and meet the heroine, Claire, who is on a secluded beach when she sees a man walking in the mist. So begins the time-travel adventure to recover a silver plated chalice (made from Blackbeard's skull) in the hopes of reversing a powerful curse.

The Curse is book one in "The Legend of Blackbeard's Chalice" series, so I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

“Entranced” has an original plot with enough secrets and artifacts to make a reader giddy.

Time-Slip is my favourite genre so reading this novel was a real treat. There was plenty of action, and characters to love or hate. This is a first in a series so look forward to reading the next in series. This is well worth a read.
