This story reiterates the concept that it’s better to take you time on things and read the directions to do the best you possibly can. This would be a good book to read to a class who has trouble reading directions on assignments or if you just want to teach them to test carefully during standardized tests and read their directions and take their time so they can get the best results possible like Jane does in her story. They can remember this concept in anything they do, even if it isn’t academics.
