I like this series for offering a slant on the usual way to contemplate, and pray. I appreciate Lewis even if I am not a follower so using his model of the Universe, and Soteriology was stimulating for me, and a nice refresher of his works and ideas. The chapters are themed, and focus more about contemplating the life, thoughts, and actions of the featured person. It allows the reader to take their own pace, and for the most part, consider their own words even though brief prayers and quotes are given throughout.
