All men have a wingman - it's the bro code.

I'd like to say I fit into that code - only I am missing a certain long, hard member that automatically allows me entrance.

That doesn't matter - because for him I'm the ultimate.

His wingman.

Well, in the grand scheme of things - his wing-woman.

Reign Braxton. Womaniser. Asshole. Douche of the century. Sexy as sin but as rule would have it - all sexy men have a problem.
Reign is still lusting after the one that got away.

Enter me. Wing woman of the century, make-ex-jealous extraordinaire.

It's my job.

Why do I do it, you ask? Simple - money.
Reign's obsession gives me a good lifestyle.

I am anything he wants me to be, all for a price of course.
But I go and do something incredibly stupid - I fall in love with my boss. My boss who is in love with his ex.

    ⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*I Still Adore It*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

    Fourth re-read:
The book centers around Tiani ‘Tia’, an accountant and Reign Braxton, owner of a massive line of Blue Candy clubs across the state. He’s an extremely rich, extremely gorgeous male. When Tia puts on a little show, getting Reign laid, he gets so impressed, he offers her a job: be his wingman (get him laid without him trying) and join him on dinners and such if needed to make his ex - who he's trying to get back - hurt/jealous. What they didn't expect was Tia and Reign's connection, and strong friendship.

Overall, I simply adore this book. The characters are simply great; Tia is a precious, hilarious character, and Reign is so goddamn hot, and genially a good guy. I love him. I love Tia. I definitely love them together. I'm still hoping, and praying, for a sequel of this book. I so, so want more! I most definitely still recommend this book to all who want chemistry between to great characters, fantastic, hot sex and a nice plot-line. That being said, I'm ecstatic that I still enjoy this book as much as I did. I feared re-reading it as I've changed so much and I wouldn't like it as much anymore, but boy am I glad I overcome the fear and took a chance in re-reading one of my favorite books. It's still very good!

    Other Characters:
Autumn ‘A’ Leigh, Tia's best friend who she met about three years ago, and in that time she’s moved about four times.
Selena ‘Slutena’, Reign's ex (fiancée) of seven years who Reign caught fucking his personal male assistant.
Benny, the bar attendant at one of Reign's clubs.
Spike, part of Reign's new security team and a member of Hell’s Knights MC. Ciara, Spike’s old lady.
Jackson, part of Reign's new security team and a member of Heaven’s Sinners MC. Reign has known him for a long time. Serenity, Jackson’s old lady.
Xander, works for Reign - runs a bar on the south side.
Cade, part of Reign's new security team and a member of Hell’s Knights MC? Addison, Cade’s old lady
    Harry, Reign’s second-in-charge.
    Muff, a biker.
    Wrath, president of Wings MC.

    Third re-read: 22.12.2016
Amazing how I can still love this awesome book! I read it while I was on a plain and dude, people was probably staring wondering why the hell I was smiling xp Tia's too funny and I lust Reign, and I seriously love their friendship.
    New Rate: 5/4 Stars.

    Second re-read: 06.01.2016
Still fucking love it! Tia is bloody fantastic and I love her sassy mouth. Reign, ah man Reign, I love him so goddamn much. Everyone should love him, and those that doesn't, are missing something in their head. Oh and folks, he is mine!

    Re-read: 29.10.2014
    Awesome! I love it!

    First read review:
This one is definitely going on my favorite shelf. It's great!

oh my god. NO. Just no. This was the most dysfunctional piece of crap I've read. Seriously. He was a major asshole who whored his way around while keeping his doormat of a "wingman/woman" on call for his exploits. He used her to make his cheating ex jealous and when that worked, He strung both of them along for the remainder of the book. And even knowing he was a slut, his "wingwoman" didn't make him use a condom! It wasn't until the very end that he made his choice. Are you kidding me? He never redeemed himself and she never stopped being a dumbass doormat. I definitely do not recommend this book unless you like whoring, egotistical, (kind of) cheating men who get off on disrespecting weak willed women.

  • Micha Ela

I like Bella Jewel books. I definitely would recommend her MC Sinners Series books.
Yes, but this book just wasn't meant for me! Although The Wingman was well written, I didn't like the book, I really disliked Reign and his treatment of Tia.
I don't like weak guys. He is a fool. In my eyes Reign was everything I dislike in a man, well, except the fact that he was rich and beautiful. His fiancé was cheating on him with his personal assistant and he still wanted her back. In the process to get her back he hires Tia. - they become lovers or should I say F--- buddies. Each time he sees is ex finance he treats Tia like shit and she was okay with it.
In Tia's ' own words: "I understand". I could have kicked her butt for making such a stupid comment!! How low can you go with your self? I can understand that she needed the job, but have some dignity, tell him you will be his accountant and he can go back to his cheating fiancé. He couldn't decide, she should of decided for him and walked out on him.
To the end Tia was always second. It took him to long in my opinion, to realize what was the right decision. Even if she told him about her "situation" he still wasn't sure which one to pick. If she is okay to be second, okay.... But if I read a book I want my guys to appreciate a woman and know what they got!

I AM SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW IT’S NOT EVEN FUNNY

Honestly feels like I got played by this book. From what read like a four star banging start, for a big chunk of the first half reduced to nothing but regret and ragefest. If negative star rating was possible I would. This review/rant will be very spoilery cos I think it’s only fair you know what a train wreck this book really is.

Tiani meets Reign, rich and recently cheated on by his ex-fiance. He propositions Tiani to be his wingman after her first successful dare-attempt… because a man has his needs, even though he is still very much hung up on his ex who he hopes to get back together one day (eye rolls. go figure). Tiani keeps his bed warm with her wingman skills and the two form a weird special friendship. I’ll admit, during these first few chapters I was reading the book like

Oh but the trashing that lies ahead…

Tiani never really had any feelings for Reign beyond close friendship and seeing him as physically attractive, so not much mess at this point. That is until his ex, Selena is back in town. At this point, shit hits the fan for Tiani and the bloody book cos character assassination ahead.

While Reign pines away and puts Selena on a pedestal, he also manages to be the biggest asshole towards Tiani. His ex doesn’t bring out the best in him, clearly. As I guess any friend would, Tiani tries to get Reign to see that perhaps letting go and moving on is best. But hey ya can’t reason about love with Reign when his logic includes getting back with Selena but still getting his release with other women, which also doubles as payback to being cheated on. Say toxic relationship much. Reign’s persistence with Selena starts the panging feelings of oh-no what could it be but freaking jealousy in Tiani. UGHHHHHH

Along the way of this joke of a story Reign gets tired of meaningless sex rahrahrah so Tiani and him starts banging because this is exactly what the story needed (sarcasm). The two have unsafe and unprotected sex even though we’re not even freaking sure if Reign has gotten back in bed with Selena. However, we are assured muuuch later that is not the case but hello??? did you not just have sex with a bunch of random females before?! Guys, Reign truly is a winner.

Though Reign is upfront about his position to Tiani that he has not given up hope with Selena, our heroine decides to settle for second best. WHYYY. In the beginning Tiani is portrayed as this sassy, strong and witty heroine but now she is nothing but a pushover and a doormat letting some dickhead walk all over her. And so a love triangle is formed because Reign is indecisive as fuck. He’s hung up on Selena and actually believes that she may be the one but oh noooo Tiani lights up his world too. Fuck this guy, honestly. He takes his sweet ass time to decide and procrastinates on it too, leading both of them on longer than necessary.

Whenever Tiani gets jealous of Selena and ends up fighting with Reign, after she cools off a bit she apologies to him and is oh so empathetic of what a hard and conflicting spot Reign is in. FREAKING WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THIS. How the hell can you be so understanding of someone who can’t choose between two women? He’s not stuck with deciding who to kill, it shouldn’t be this hard!

Tiani gets the short end of the stick a lot of the times and her priority in Reign’s life is evidently very lowwww. UMMMM WOT. At the end of the day she’s still your fcking friend okay. Far ouuuuuuut.

When Reign finally makes the decision, it definitely feels like it's more spurred on because of wow shocker pregnancy from Tiani. And it is at this revelation (after many times that they have banged) that they have their overdue discussion about safe/protected sex. Honestly, not so much discussion than revealing "I thought you were on protection, or I would have fuckin’ used a condom.” This is the legit quote btw, could not make this shit up even if I tried. SO MUCH FACEPALM AND HEAD BANGING, THESE IDIOTS. Good of you to just assume someone is on protection without actually asking them???? Logic 10/10. Are we even going to talk about STDs??

There’s so much that I hate about this book I can’t even. I just can’t believe what was a heroine with great potential is written to become such a lil bitch (soz but true) enabling some dickhead’s behaviour. I can’t relate to Tiani for being such a doormat and letting someone treat her like shit time and time again yet being so understanding BECAUSE BITCH IT IS NOT OKAY. As much of a fckup Reign is, I can’t help but feel that Tiani deserved some of the shit she got.

This has given me nothing but rage and and a few temporarily-permanent frown lines. The only possible way you’ll enjoy this book involves gasoline and matches. RANT OVER.

    3,5 stelle

If you like stories where the girl is treated REPEATEDLY like a complete doormat, then this is the book for you. It started off good. I liked her sass and her wit but it got excruciatingly frustrating. For someone who kept insisting that she wasn't desperate, she sure was acting like she was. The one thing I can't stand in a book is when the guy is a complete jerk and is not held accountable for his actions. He gets off SO easy and doesn't lift a damn finger to redeem himself. No thanks.

  • JAN

    A fab reading.
Couldn't put it down. So much more than I was expecting.
However, a little warning: there were times I wanted to throw my kindle against the wall. Slutena and Reign ARGHHHHH !!

I loved it! Hilarious, and raw at both times.

Reign puts the D in Douche! I mean seriously over the top a*hole. He is so dang on cocky but sexy and so hung up on Selina, his ex that he is so blind sided by everything and everyone else, his main focus is getting Slutena back! Slutena is his ho of an ex that he spent 7 years with before she did the unthinkable and (***drumrolls****) cheated on him with his PA. The reason he wants her back? Who cares, but he does.

So Reign, our maleho is working on getting her back while he boings everything that walks by. His issue is he will boing until he has Hoelena back and then he will be a dedicated boyfriend.

Now, here comes Tiana, she is out heroine who is not taking his ish what's so ever, and she is probably the 1st female that doesn't want to be boinged by him.

With that out the way, a sort of friendship is formed, weird one at that. Tiana is going to play Reign's wingman, she will stage this weird break up and fights and he will walk off with the girls that fall for it. His plan is to make Slutena so jealous she has no other choice but to come back.

The scenes these two come up with just for Reign to get laid is hilarious, but we all know how that works out when two people share so much time together, have keys to their apartments, are all over each other's places MINUS the boinging!

What happens when Tia turns into the perfect girl, who names her viginia? And Slutena relaizes she wants him back? Tttttrouble!

It had enough Angst to make want to wring some necks, how I had so many full out belly laughs! I loved it, def. a different Bella book than her usual.

Inizio suuuuper, poi è calato un pochino; più che altro sono perplessa sulla questione della migliore amica e dei bikers 🤔

"I'm in a fucked-up situation, because the truth of it is..." He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes. "I care about two women, and for the life of me, I can't figure out which one is best for me."

Bella Jewel has yet again given us another outstanding read! I absolutely loved this book. Once I had started it I did little else until I had finished the last page. It had humour, heartache, sneaky and evil ex's, unrequited love and some brilliant lead characters.

This books focus on Tia and Reign. Reign has hired Tia to be his official 'wingman' and find him women. What can go wrong, right? Reign was sometimes so frustrating and I literally wanted to shake him or slap him on the back of his head, and then others I wanted to reach in the book and kiss his little face! He comes across as a bit of an idiot, scorned by his ex-fiance and yet you can see he is quite reserved and sweet. He really had an internal struggle over his ex, all he wanted was to win her back and make her jealous with his parades of women. What he didn't expect was Tia...

I LOVED Tia. She was sassy, feisty, rude, witty and had an attitude like no other. She could get Reign a woman in minutes and this coupled with her work abilities make her a viable asset to him and his companies. Over time, she gets comfortable with Reign and starts to see the layers of him that he doesn't allow. These little snippets of the real man inside has her inquisitive and falling little by little for Reign. But that's against the rules. You're not meant to fall in love with your boss, especially one like Reign. How we she compete with his love for his ex? Will she ever have all of him and not be second best?

"Maybe there is a chance for me - maybe he will see something in me he can't find in her. If that's the case, I might just get my happy ending. Maybe"

I really loved watching the relationship between these two grow and alter as they both realised what they really meant to one another. When things start to heat up between the two there are some hard truths that come to light and choices need to be made on both sides. As the bond between them grows and hidden truths surface will Reign decide that Tia is the right women for him, with her no holds bard attitude, or does will he stick to his intentions and continue to win back his ex who he has loved for years? There was a lot of back and forth from Reign over Tia and Slutena (lol) and at times you were like JUST CHOOSE ALREADY! Very annoying

As always Bella has given us some brilliant and loveable characters whose story will take you on one heck of a ride. Also, some of your favourite characters from the MC Sinners make an appearance! How can you not love those guys eh? If you have read and loved Bella's previous books then you NEED this one! I loved every minute of it and cannot wait to read Bella's next story!

"What if's dont really matter right now. Selena is in the picture, and that isn't going to change. But for your benefit... yes, Reign... I would have done it if she wasn't in the picture. Do you want to know why?" He nods, his eyes intense. "Because you're an amazing person who just can't see his worth," I whisper. "But I can see it, and that's why I wouldn't hesitate."

Assolutamente no!!

Per me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Cute and fast read

This was cute and a fast read/listen. I do feel like the book had way more potential than it showed. I loved the heroine and she started so strong even if in the end was a little doormat-y. She was super funny though. The hero was such a jerk. It was just such a second best story.

Effing hilarious and heartwarming also LOVE the ANGST!!
I was hooked just from the synopsis!!!

Bella has done it again. Another great hot stream funny book!

When reading this I never looked at the percentage I had left. I just kept reading and reading. When I did finally look down at it.. it was at 96% and I was disappointed cause I NEEDED MORE!!

Tia was such an awesome character. Feisty, funny, dirty, beautiful , silly. just everything!!

Reign was so very sexy. He was definitely different from others H's we always ready about. He was Broody and sexy...yet he couldn't or didn't want to..put the charm on for the ladies.

Through out this book I was lost, lost in their world and I would want to experience it over and over again!

Great cameos from the Bikers...LOVED THAT!

    *** Book Q & A***

    * How did the book make you feel?: I really enjoyed this book. There was quite a bit of angst.

    * How do you feel about how the story was told?: We follow friends and coworkers while their relationship evolves into more. The H is torn between two women and if takes him nearly the whole book go get his head out of his ass.

    * What did you think about the main characters?: I loved the h. Although she put up with a lot of bullshit from the H, she still had spunk and advocated for herself. She should’ve cut the idiot loose sooner! I liked the H because he was such an insensitive and selfish prick, but he still managed to be there for the h when she really needed him (mostly).

    * Which parts of the book stood out to you?: The H was such a deplorable ass, and I really enjoyed the part where he admitted he put the h second to her face, because I’m a sucker for heart-wrenching scenes!

    * What themes/tropes did you detect in the story?: friends with benefits, unplanned pregnancy, asshole H in love with ex

    * What did you think about the ending?: I liked it, but I would’ve LOVED it with a bit more groveling. The epilogue was splendid.

    * What is your impression of the author?: First taste, but now I’m going to read more!

Possible Triggers and Safety: slut shaming, abortion shaming, emotional cheating

What the heck did I just read? I really liked Reign and Wingman [Woman] until it became a triangle with two women fighting over a man. I have no driving need to read that stereotype or the female lead's rationalizations on his behalf. "I understood. It was okay. He was right. I'll just let myself be strung along in the hopes he'll continue throwing me crumbs in this f--- buddy, half-relationship while he tries to repair his real relationship." Move along, dude. I just can't understand this woman who hangs on an already attached guy hoping that he'll break up with his SO. Really? Your best outcome is breaking up a relationship? Plenty of fish in the sea. This was totally unromantic to me. I can see this dysfunctional isht in real life if I want to.

That was already irritating me. Then the bikers were introduced and the female lead spent multiple paragraphs ragging on sex workers. That really disgusted me. Have some human decency, dude. I was literally recoiling from the book at this point. So... 2.5/3 stars for the first half. If you like this premise, then pick this up. Otherwise, try another of Bella Jewel's books. She does write and develop characters well.

  • Tara OG

I don’t think I can profess my love for this book enough. I knew as soon Tia opened her mouth this book was going to be new favorite flavor of the week. I read Bella’s MC books and enjoyed them, but for me this book just worked. Reign was an asshole with a fun side that only Tia brought out him. She didn’t hesitate to call him out on his broody ass like behavior. She absolutely writes the best males with their possessive always save the day behavior.

I know some people are going to read this book and think that Tia just let him walk all over and use her. Maybe he did, but she had plenty of times to walk away to convince herself that she was not falling in love with him, but let’s be honest there wouldn’t be a reason to write the story line if she didn’t stick around. So in other words piss off it’s a book not real life. This is one of my top reads for 2014. Hell I think I may ask Bella to marry me and see how it works out.. Seriously though, stop what you’re writing and write me another book like this one. You my dear can tear shit up no matter what you write or your characters do.

Meh what a waste of my time.

    4.5 stars!!!

    Loooove how the story started!

It was fun and exciting and I like that they had 6 months together to build a friendship, in a really weird way.. I mean, she works for him by being...a Pimp?!? Whatever that's how I call it. ;)

Is it weird that I didn't want them to have had sex as early as 40% of the story?!?!?! That's a first for me!!! I usually like a novel with a love scene around 30% of the story but not wanting a love scene around 40%? that's just crazy!

I have nothing bad to say about the novel, well, maybe it's too short for my liking but it left me well sated. I feel like the only problem in the story is Slutina, so if there's book 2, I would totally read it!

I like the plot, the flow of the story, the characters, and of course, the writing style! I also liked his POV towards the end! Book 2 Please!! With the same characters!!!

Freaking Hilarious! Two things Bella Jewel does really well are smoking sex scenes and humor. These are the reasons I loved the MC Sinners boys and the reason I loved Wingman.
Tia was so funny just line after line she had me cracking up. I loved that she was sassy, tough, not afraid to take a punch, and balls to wall in your face. Reign was pretty funny too once he got the stick out of his ass and started enjoying life.
I wanted to smack him for treating Tia like crap and yes she could have walked to avoid the heartache but she was falling for her best friend. I felt her struggle to not be a doormat and remain the kickass Tia while she was falling for the asshole.

Bravo Bella Jewel! Seriously romantic comedy is your bread and butter. Love it!

Tiana "Tia" meets Reign Braxton (what a cool name!) in a bar while trolling for a pick up. She's looking to get laid not meet the love of her life. He is looking to get laid. He's the very rich, very gorgeous guy who owns a string of upscale clubs.

Do what you want! What you want with my body---WHAT YOU WANT WITH MY BODYY! YEAH, WE TAKING THESE HATERS AND WE ROUGHEN' 'EM UP AND WE LAY IN THE CLUB LIKE WE DON'T GIVE A FUUUUUUUU------! Fast, fun read. Snappy dialogue, humor and a bit of angst. Loved the heroine, but found myself frequently unhappy with the hero. It took him a bit too long to come to his senses and I felt there needed to be more of a grovel before the HEA.

I would of done an all nighter with this book if not for having to get up early today. It had me gripped from the very first page.
Tia was a lovely funny character and Reign well he was just oozing the sex appeal.
Slutena another book bitch I hated. There was enough angst to sink a battle ship in this book. Most of the way through thinking is he or isn't he screwing Slutena. A great outcome a great story and a great recommendation.
